GOD REMEMBERS2

SELAH Daily Devotions!

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid, for YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isa. 49:16

In light of the prevailing gross darkness, devastation and desolation taking place in our world today, I was incited to review the words of God’s Prophet, Isaiah, speaking to the remnant of God’s Chosen nation.

God’s people were facing eminent danger of massive destruction, yet we hear Isaiah offering a word of warning and a ray of hope that we’d do well to glean from today. The Prophet encourages them that no matter what’s happening around you, don’t be afraid, but keep trusting and praising our God!  Isaiah, knowing God inhabits the praises of His people, speaks to souls wearied by the consequences of unwise choices and reminds them that their only hope of deliverance was to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of their Lord! (Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:58)

God is Holy, Righteous and Just! While He must punish the unjust, His Anger does not last forever! Unlike many of our earthly fathers, YAH is our Covenant-keeping God and remains a Faithful Father, Saving Strength, Shield, Provider and Redeemer to all who call upon Him! From His own Mouth, Abba Father promises to wipe away the tears from their faces and keep you in perfect peace because we trust in Him! (Ref. Isaiah 25:8, 26:3-4)

Beloved, when life is out of your control, rest assured, Jesus is always in control! The Eternal Word testifies that you are the apple of His eye and He has tatooed your name in the palm of His Hands forever. (Ref. Psalm 17:8; Isa. 49:16)

In the midst of these unsettling times,  there’s no denying the myriad of distractions that are attempting to cause even the most seasoned of saints to question whether or not The Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of All Life is really concerned about what’s going on down here amongst the gross darkness of a lost, unfaithful and rebellious world,  nevertheless, I adjure you to keep your eyes on Jesus, The Joy of your Salvation and your feet steadfast on THE WORD! Be confident of this very thing, He that has begun a GOOD WORK IS FAITHFUL TO COMPLETE IT UNTIL THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST! (Ref. Philippians 1:6)

Precious ones, when you can’t see no way, why not confuse hell and praiz JESUS anyhow! Don’tchaknow? At the mere mentioning of THE NAME OF JESUS demons tremble and the angelic host is put on alert!

Ooooh Yeah!  TRUST2KNO, The Great and Holy One of Israel is closer than ever before! Hence, don’t ever forget that YOUR GOD REMEMBERS!

I LIVED!

I LIVED 2

SELAH Daily Devotions!

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. The LORD hath chastened me sore : but he hath not given me over unto death. Psalm 118:17-18

Everything living changes! #Didjaheardat?

From the moment of beginning, life evolves, progressively spiraling from eternity past through present towards eternity future. The Eternal Life-Giver sets into motion HIS own pre-determined course, every thing according to the counsel of His Will and Good Pleasure. (Ref. Ecclesiastes 3:1)

So why are we so taken aback by the sudden shifts?

Perhaps it has a lot to do with the often brutal abrupt interruptions to the comfort and security of familiarity. Be it pleasant or unpleasant, there’s something about humanity’s expectation of normal that enables us to resign to a certain sense of contentment. Some might call it the spirit of survival or resilience.

Pass the mic and every one of us could undoubtedly recite times of suffering some kinda personal tragedy, un-relentless abuse, myriad temptations, bona fide threats through which we’ve already come. But almost as fluently, we can enumerate with timeless ecstacy those experiences where closed gates were opened before us, night weeping gave way to the morning joy, mourning bowed to dancing and desperation succumbed to determination. And yet life goes on!

As children of faith we must recognize that wherever we are, we’re never alone! God has planted us there not to die, but to grow through our wildernesses. As we learn to trust and confidently submit to His Will, GOD gives us Grace to come out better and not bitter, stronger and wiser and with a new life-giving, soul-stirring, encouraging, strengthening, empowering—“COME SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!” testimony!

Nevertheless, we, God’s Chosen, continue in hope for that time when happiness is unchanging, fear and doubt is terminated, and the foreboding darkness is consumed by the all encompassing Eternal Light of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

“This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:23-24

IS THERE ANYBODY WHO AIN’T AFRAID TO ADMIT, “THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES, I ALMOST…BUT! I LIVED!”??? #bothhandsup, huh?

DIVINE INTENT

DIVINE INTENT

SELAH Daily Devotions!

“Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?”
Isaiah 43:13

“They” say that The Holy Bible contains the words ‘fear not’ 365 times! That’s means there’s one for every day of the year. Apparently, the Holy Spirit is determined to convey how vital it is that believers maintain a certain stance of courageous faith in light of the imminent threats that shall come upon us to challenge our trust in God’s Sovereignty!

Jesus, The  WORD Incarnate, testifies that just as the world hated him they shall also hate us who have committed our personal faith and trust to Him . Yet, despite of the hostile environment in which we live, our Lord Jesus says, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Yeah, that sounds good BUT! I hearya, ‘but I’m mortal and Jesus is God!’ Exactly! Satan, the Master of Deceit, never wants us to get this revelation. The enemies of God’s people are the enemies of God; therefore the devil has never nor shall he ever be a threat to GOD or God’s people! Didjaheardat? Bamm devil, the WORD is out!

Even on Satan’s ‘bestest’ day, it’s absolutely impossible for him to frustrate The Divine Will of God! The most wicked malicious contrivance of evil men are but a drop of water against the volcanic eruptions emanating from the finger-tips of The Almighty Hand of God! Hence, irregardless of how long—no matter how early in the morning and how late in the night, your enemies spends scheming against God’s elect, it’s always too short and to weak to stay the arms of El Shaddai!

God does not need any one or thing’s permission or approval to bless you! When God intends to bless you, who can stop Him? What God blesses no man can curse! Remember Balak? (Ref. Numbers 22) God is not intimidated nor deterred by the daunting eyes of your adversaries. While they’re plotting against a child of God, He’s already prepared to bless you right in front of their angry faces. “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Psalm 23:5

Truth be told, there’s nothing like eating a Porter House steak in front of someone who doesn’t want you to have a bologna sandwich, right? Can’t you just see the envy in your enemy’s eyes—not to mention how shamefully powerless they are to block your blessing? Talk about messed up, huh? The Lord of Hosts sits upon the circle of the whole earth, declaring to the world His Counsel against which nothing shall stand! No wonder Jesus says, ‘cheer up’! Oh Ggggllloooraaaaa!!!

Beloved, don’t be anxious about a thang! (Ref. Philippians 4:6) God has purposefully set up every circumstance you will ever experience to ensure that there are witnesses to the miraculous deliverance that He’s about to perform in your life! He will never leave your destiny in the hands of any other than Godself! (Ref. Jeremiah 29:11)

Rest assured, when JESUS SAYS YESSSSS—NOBODY CAN SAY NO! THAT’S WHATCHA CALL DIVINE INTENT!
