We are excited and grateful that you’ve joined us once again in our Thursdays’ Corporate Fasting and Prayer! We’re eternally thankful to our Father, God for give us one more day to embrace and enjoy the Wonders of His Glory! We rejoice in The Hope that His Eyes are watching and His Ears are attentive to hear and intervene on our behalf as we enter into His Courts with praise and thanksgiving for You Alone are The Source of all everything that we will ever need in this life and the life to come!

O Come let us kneel before our Maker, as we acknowledge that we’re bowing before A GREAT GOD, The GOD above all gods; The King of kings and Lord of lords! We cry out, Abba Fathers, we come to The Ancient of Days, The Creator and Sustainer of every living creature…

 

Abba Father, we bless You for this new day, overflowing with Fresh Mercy and Grace to preserve us through any and every challenge that You allow to befall us today. We Thank You for Your inseparable Lovingkindness that continues to look beyond the iniquities of our frail, faulty and the fickleness of our fleshy frame and to forgive us for every sin that we do, speak or think that violates Your Holy Kingdom Commandments! As we confess our sins before You, we thank You now for this undeserved favor that we have inherited through The Sacrificial Atoning Blood of Your First-Begotten Son that gives us a new heart and mind to surrender our lives to You!
Heavenly Father, we come, humbled, yet boldly in agreement with Your Kingdom Authority, recognizing that we’re living in the last of the last days and that while the enemy of our souls has launched a full-fledged attack against The Body of Christ and The Name of Jesus we know that You have sworn by God-Self to never leave nor forsake us!

Therefore, Father, we thank You for the antidote that allows all those who love You and Your Ways, having no other mind, to stand steadfast, immovable always abounding in Your Will and Your Word! We thank You for the honor and privilege afforded us as You teach us to war against the Satanic hosts, to come before You, earnestly seeking Your Presence and finding Help and Hope to overcome every weapon that’s formed against us! For You O Lord are The Rock of our Salvation, and there’s nothing too hard for OUR GOD!

Sweet Holy Spirit, we come warring in the Spirit of Worship, thanking You for leading and guiding us, for You are our Great High Priest, and even when we don’t know what or how to pray, You intervene on our behalf, interpreting every moan and the groanings of our hearts today and presenting it to our Father!

Precious Lord, You , our Omniscient God, know everything about us! You know the battles that we’re facing, not just in our physical bodies but even in our minds! We ask that You rebuke the Spirits of overwhelming fear, confusion, frustration, intimidation and condemnation that are enticing Your people to draw-back from the purpose, plan and things of God! We release The Blessing of God into the lives of Your people who are fainting even perishing for lack of vision. We speak deliverance from every opposing spirit and we declare victory over every storm raging in our lives, as we put the enemy under our feet and stand in our rightful place as Children of Light, in Jesus Name! Amen 3x!

We rebuke every spirit that keeps your people shackled and cowardly silenced by the cares of this world. We pray against spirits of distractions, ungodly soul-ties, discords, divisions, illicit relationships, adulterous relationships and we resist the enemy’s power to hold Your people incarcerated and paralyzed in failure and defeat! Therefore we declare and decree that chains are being broken now as You are opening the door of escape in the Spirit, in Jesus Name! IT IS SO!

Abba Father, forgive us for failing in your Great Commission as we’ve become lackadaisical in our obligation, responsibility and yes, even our desire to plead for souls! Help Your church to remember that Jesus died for souls! Father we pray for the lost who have yet to receive Your Grace-filled Salvation! We ask that You quicken their hearts with a Spirit of Godly-Repentance allowing them to cry out to You for Salvation today! We pray for the backsliders who have for whatever reason, turned away from The Only Savior and left the Ark of Your Grace! Father, put a fresh “COMMITED YES” in their hearts and minds today, lead them back to the Altar and restore them back to Righteousness in Christ Jesus!

Father, please forgive us for succumbing to the culture of this world and allowing it to infiltrate the Church causing us to lust and store up the treasures of this world, the money, cars, houses, land, designer clothes, shoes, the latest electronic devices, hence, longing for the power, prestige and praises and approval of men, rather than focusing on establishing Your Kingdom in the earth!

Father, as our Good Shepherd, You instructed us to “Seek Ye First The Kingdom of God and all these other things would be added to us” We know that it brings pleasure to Your Heart that Your children prosper and be in good health, especially our souls! You promised that if we would faithfully walk upright before You, no good thing would be withheld from us!

Holy Father, we thank You for being Jehovah Rophe, The Lord our Healer therefore, as we lift up all who are being afflicted by physical diseases, spiritual and mental dis-eases! According to Your delegated Power and Authority, to declare and decree a thing according to Your Word and it has to come to past, in The Name of Jesus, we therefore rebuke, quarantine, bind and cast-out pancreatic, throat, breast, lung, liver, kidney, blood , brain, colon, bladder, uterus, rectal, stomach cancer, and confine it under The Blood of JESUS NOW! We RELEASE healing, wholeness, deliverance, quick and immediate recovery in The Holy Ghost, to hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation and dialysis centers, operating rooms, chemotherapy and psychiatric wards and prisons!
We’re believing that even as You walked in this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re still Well Able to do the same right now! Lord Jesus, Your Word declares that by Your stripes we have been redeemed and healed and we’re yet standing on Your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up!

Sweet Holy Spirit, we thank You for moving in our situations, doctor reports, court cases, employment issues and turning them around! We come against unsettled minds and according to Your Word, as we bring them to You in prayer and supplications with Thanksgiving, making everything known to You, we have the courageous confidence that everything that the enemy meant for evil, You are making it turn around for our highest good and Your Greatest Glory even before we see it manifested! We Shout HALLELUJAH!!!

Precious Jesus, hear us as we’re praying for our families, our secular and religious leaders. We intercede on behalf of all those who have submitted their lives, determined to Let the Kingdom of Heaven reign in and thru their lives and their ministries! We pray that they will speakTruth to edify and not words of deception in order to manipulate your people! We send the Word of God to their spirits now, anointing them and breaking every fetter that would captivate or hinder them. We speak a Spirit of Freedom, in The Holy Ghost, to those who are discouraged, discontent, fainthearted by worry and wearied in well-doing! We speak deliverance to every wounded spirit, troubled tormented minds, those that would entertain demonic enduced thoughts of suicide and murder, that desire to overtake our young people! My brother, my sista be Ye lifted up! Every hung-down head be Ye lifted up and receive an inner revelation of who and Whose they are in Christ Jesus!
Abba Father, we lift our children and our young people as they return to day-care facilities, elementary, middle/high schools, college campuses and we declare over them, as the carriers of  Your Magnificence and Glory, that they are saved, sanctified, walking free of fear and anxiety for their lives and personal safety. We rebuke the bullying spirits! We pray that our children will be equipped with keen discernment and will be able to recognize what it of You and what is of Satan! We thank You for the gifts of the Spirit that You have deposited within them, and that they shall be encouraged and utilized as You make room for them! Father, we pray that You keep their hearts and minds in perfect peace, let them be filled with hope for a awesome future that You have purposed for their lives while they were hidden in their Mothers’ wombs!
Sweet Holy Spirit, as we commit them into Your Providential care, realizing that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too., we have the Blessed Assurance that their steps are being ordered by Your eyes! Therefore we speak The Peace of God over their spirits, minds and bodies releasing a spirit of Love, Holiness and Excellence to fulfill their God ordained destiny! We cover them in The Blood-Stained Banner of Your Love even as we speak Salvation, Deliverance, Excellence and Prosperity over their lives! We command the Blessings of God to follow them wherever they go!
We pray for the grieving parents who lost their children to senseless violence! We ask that You comfort their hearts and minds, rebuke guilt, shame, doubt and regret for decisions that we might’ve made in their past concerning their children! We ask that You send a Spirit of Confident Assurance that as You graciously allow each of us to grow from Faith to Faith and Grace to Grace, our knowledge of You is enlarged enabling us to be transformed by the renewing our minds, proving what is that good, acceptable and perfect Will of God for our lives! And for this cause we Thank You Lord Jesus!
We pray for the leaders of this nation and the world. Lord, we ask that You touch those who don’t know You, fear nor regard You as Lord! Break up the fallow ground, prick their stony arrogant hearts with a spirit of humility that allows them to hear Your Voice even as You speak to them in dreams and visions! Cast down the spirit of high-mindedness, self-righteousness, carnality and pride! Let them come running to You, repenting and asking forgiveness, and seeking You for personal Salvation!

Precious Lord, we also lift up every family whose lives have been affected by Hurricane Dorian’s destructive path. We thank you for comforting the hearts and minds of all who’ve lost loved ones, homes, churches, jobs, transportation and even Hope! We ask that You release strength, courage, finances, favor and confidence that You are GOD who is able to restore everything needed to sustain our lives, according to Your Riches in Glory! We speak perfect peace that passes all understanding and unspeakable joy into their lives NOW IN JESUS NAME! AMEN 3X!

Father, as always, we recognize that there’s so much more that we should ask, but we are trusting that Holy Spirit is yet stirring up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name to pray without ceasing! We ask that You release upon our hearts, an ever-burning desire for an even greater personal, intimate relationship through fellowship with Holy Spirit, that we might prove what is the perfect and acceptable Will of The Lord Jesus!

Lord Jesus, we Your children, the apple of Your Eye, await Your Salvation, in patient confidence and quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling, suddenly departing in shameful defeat, recognizing that You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne, therefore we’re trusting that we shall inherit the Promises of GOD!

Abba Father, because You have Sovereignly chosen and drawn us near to dwell safety and secure in Your House Eternally, we rejoice in thanksgiving, as we align our spirits, soul and body with You Eternal Word! We bow in obedient reverence before The Hope of all the earth, believing that as Your face shines upon us that, You are making Your Ways and Salvation known among all nations!

We delight ourselves in You, The Eternal Father, Who Guides and Rules Justly, believing that according to Your Appointed Time…IT IS ALREADY DONE! In The Exalted Name of Jesus we offer up this prayer, Sealed in The Holy Ghost with a HOLY Alleleujah! Amen 3X!

And said to his servant, go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up and looked, and said. There is nothing. And he said, go up again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, behold there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, go up, say unto Ahab. Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. 1 Kings 18:43-45

 

It’s one thing to say that we trust God, but it’s how we endure the proving time that determines the genuineness of our trust! #Didjaheardat?

Life inevitably includes intervals of those pesty impositions I call ‘the dark times’! Like unexpected uninvited guest, trouble has a way of poppin in and staying way longer than we’d prefer! And to make matters even more unsettling, it’s during these seasons that we’re most likely to experience times when all evidence to substantiate that God is still with you and any sign indicating that He’s even listening to your prayers is essentially non-existent!

Knowing personally, it’s not easy watching our children’s lives being ravished by sickness and their youthful dreams and ambitions dissipated by helpless-hopelessness. But this is where the clichés that we so impressively sprout off to others are proven real or Memorex!  Beloved, the longer we walk with Jesus we discover that it’s in the midst of the storms that God reveals His Best Handy Work!  Who would’ve ever imagined that in spite of the dire forecast, The SON yet shines, leading and drawing us closer to Himself! Clearly, He’s determined, through any means necessary, to prove unequivocally that everything that the devil meant for evil, God can turn it around and make it work in our favor! (Ref. Romans 8:28)

Oh My! How my soul rejoiced that day, hearing that my son had given his life to The Lord during a bible study class the evening before! Little did I know that God would use this storm to woo him into seeking Him for himself , thereby positioning him for the miraculous showers of blessings that would follow! And most certainly, I never imagined as I was praying that God would stretch my faith and increase my knowledge of His Wisdom and Power, that I’d have to bury his twin brother to experience a whole new dimension of God’s Super-Sustaining Grace!

The Prophet Elijah teaches his young protégé that even when we can’t see no way to escape the very real threat of emminent destruction, we can yet trust God’s Heart and His Hands. God’s vision is far greater than 20/20. It’s from eternity past to eternity future! God watches guardingly over us thru The Blood stained eyes of Jesus. And through Divinely-inspired confident trust and quiet patience we discover the inexhaustible treaures God’s Faithfulness!

Today, you may find yourself plagued by all manner of maladies. Many of God’s people’s lives are being wounded and worn out by the insidious attacks of the enemies of God and  unfortunately, many are losing hope for life getting any better. But remember, anything is possible with God! TRUST2KNO, while our troubles have a predesignated date of expiration;  our prayers are eternal! #DIDJAHEARDAT??

As people of Hope, instead of surrendering to the pressures of circumstantial evidence, we pray; committing ourselves and our circumstances to our Omnipotent, Omniscient Omnipresent Savior and Lord! By doing this, we’re demonstrating to God that we are relying wholeheartedly upon His Love and the sufficiency of His Grace to sustain and deliver us! As we pray, God intervenes in His designated timing, turning everything the devil meant for evil—around for our greatest good and His Highest Glory! (Ref. 1 Chronicles 7:14)  #4REAL!

Don’t allow the darkness to deceive you. Could God be using the clouds to shield you from your enemies view, aligning you up for an unexpected miracle? (Ref. Exodus 13:21) I know it’s been a long night, but don’t give up!  They tell me, the darkest hour is just before the break of a new day. #Ijs!

And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord’s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour… Exodus 32:25-27

 

Does anybody remember the movie ‘The Ten Commandments’ staring Charleston Heston as Moses? It’s been dubbed “Hollywood’s version” of God’s miraculous deliverance of the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage, through the wilderness and into the Promised Land of Canaan. From the Biblical perspective, once again we see God extending awemazingly unmerited Lovingkindness and Grace to His rebellious disobedient people.

Now! Here’s where the TRUE story becomes a bit disconcerting! The Very Same God who brought them up out from under the cruelty of their Egyptian task masters, giving them a binding Covenant from His Own Hand, laying out in explicit details how His people were to be a holy, distinct, separated people envied by all other nations because of their unique relationship with The One True God, apparently flips the script; turning on the very same people that He’d personally chosen for Himself! But as you delve a little deeper, you see that other side of God’s Righteousness that we tend to close our eyes to—Justice! The Nerve of GOD, huh?

Evidently, there’s an inherent proclivity of our provocable flesh to profoundly resist accountability! IF it seems right and feels right, then just do it! But that type of logic fails to take into account the Sovereignty of our CREATOR GOD! Therefore, HE alone has the Power and Authority to establish the ways of man’s life. (Ref. Psalm 100:3) WE got some nerve!

Unfortunately, like our progenitors, The Israelites, we too have discovered that while, God allows us freedom of choice, when it comes to consequences of our decisions, we have no say so! The otherwise Loving, Caring, Benevolent Father of All Grace and Comfort has subjected GODSELF to His Word! In essence, sooner or later, all sinfulness must be reckoned with Justly , without partiality! HENCE, there is such a thing as frustrating GRACE!

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Titus 2:11-14)

The lines are being drawn daily, WHO’S ON THE LORD’S SIDE?

I know it’s extremely uncomfortable to speak of such things for many and sociably inappropriate for others, huh? Nevertheless, it’s TRUTH! GOD HAS ORDERED A DAY OF RECKONING for all mankind! DON’T GET CAUGHT WITH YOUR WORK UNDONE!

Make your reservations for Eternal Life before the expiration date!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17

Precious one, believe it or not, that Ol’ Ship of Zion is movin’ closer and closer! R U ready to board?

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus For good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should Walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

 

Okay, let me begin by saying, it’s not my intention to offend the sanctity of The Holy Writ, however to simply relay my personal internal experience!  Down the these 60 sumthin’ years, I’ve discovered that oftimes the process of life application is ‘easier said than done’!  #Understatement! Needless to say, transitioning this mindset to real-life tends to involve hauling along its own measure of self-accusing, doubt, ignominy and guilt. After all, we’re people of faith, right?

Fortunately, when we understand The Truth, that God Himself, fully aware of who and what we are capable (aka incapable of), has saved us, not because—but—in spite—of, we get a snapshot of impregnable fortress of our Heavenly Father’s Loving Kindness towards us, laced with a whopping dollop of reality!

Hence, armed with this intelligence, give yourself permission to get over you! News Flash! As difficult as it may be to latch onto, my Precious One, you are not the ‘good news’! JESUS Is!

None of us is saved by trusting in ourselves, but anyone can be saved by trusting in God’s Mercy! None of us can keep our selves saved through our own volition, however by trusting in God’s Grace we are sustained through His Sufficiency!

Ultimately, its placing your personal confidence in The Almighty God, realizing (as the Ol’ Skool Church Mothers’ sanng) “JESUS PAID IT ALL, ALL TO HIM I OWE, SIN HAD LEFT A CRIMSON STAIN, AND HE WASHED ME WHITE AS SNOW”, and accepting as Truth, that everything required to satisfy The Righteousness of God, Jesus already did it, releases us from the daily burden of ‘being good enough to deserve God’s goodness! Didjaheardat?

WOW! JESUS, Perfection Personified, got it all right for you!

Now that doesn’t mean we’re off the hook! Don’t be foolish; be grateful! Because of His Once-and-for-all Sacrificial Death,  no longer will we be judged according to our filthy righteousness but are now free to live hope-filled, holy, God-Honoring, God-Witnessing lives, reflecting the Light of God’s Glory to a dark, lost, and dying world! (Ref. John 10:10)

As we continue to walk with Jesus, entrusting our very lives to Him, our faith increases, our knowledge expands, and our experiences will teach us that trusting God is about releasing yourself from the futility of struggling to meet the unrealistic expectations of others, and most importantly, releasing yourself from devastating side effect of self-imposed exile, self -rejection!

If you are a bona-fied, Blood-Washed-Born-Again-Child of The Most High God, your life is hidden in Christ and you are kept by The Hands of The Almighty God! Remember, The Omnipotent, Omnscient, Omnipresent Creator of Heaven and Earth is always with you, working everything out in your life for your highest good and His GREATER GLORY! WHEWWWW! So, REST IN HIM  & RELEASE URSELF!  #GETIT?

BEHOLD OUR GOD

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid, for YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isa. 49:16

 

In light of prevailing gross darkness and prevalent winds of foreboding devastation and desolation in our world today, it’s no wonder that we’re stressed out, huh? Even those who have placed their faith in the Saving Grace of Jesus very souls have been vexed by the state of this nation! In answer to my prayerful inquiry, ‘Precious Lord, what’s going on?’,  I was incited by the Comforting Presence of Holy Spirit to review the words of God’s Prophet, Isaiah, speaking to the remnant of God’s Elect nation.

According to the text, once again, God’s people find themselves facing eminent danger of massive destruction, yet we hear Isaiah offering  words of warning and hope that we’d do well to glean from today! The Prophet encourages them that no matter what’s happening around you, don’t be afraid, but keep trusting and praising our God! Isaiah, knowing God inhabits the praises of His people, speaks to souls wearied by the consequences of unwise choices and reminds them that their only hope of deliverance was to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of their Lord! (Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:58)

Saints, the first step in overcoming any challenge is to keep the main thing the main thing! God is Holy, Righteous and Just! While He must punish the unjust, His Anger does not last forever! Unlike many of our earthly fathers, YAH is our covenant-keeping God and remains a Faithful Father, Saving Strength, Shield, Provider and Redeemer to all who call upon Him! From His own Mouth, Abba Father promises to wipe away the tears from our faces and keep us in perfect peace just because we trust in Him! #Didjaheardat?  WOW! (Ref. Isaiah 25:8, 26:3-4)

Beloved, when life is out of your control, set your affections on The Eternal Hope of the Ages and not the temporary circumstances of this present time! Rest assured, Jesus is always in control!  God’s Word declares that you are the apple of His eye and He has tatooed your name in the palm of His Hands forever. (Ref. Psalm 17:8; Isa. 49:16)

In the midst of these unsettling times, I adjourn you to keep your eyes on Jesus, The Joy of your Salvation! Precious ones, when you can’t see no way, why not confuse hell and praiz JESUS anyhow! Don’tchaknow? At the mere mentioning of THE NAME OF JESUS demons tremble and the angelic host is put on alert!

Ooooh Yeah! TRUST2KNOW, The Great and Holy One of Israel is closer than ever before! Therefore, Precious Ones, don’t be deceived by temporary circumstantial evidence! Hold on to every Promise we’ve been given by your Covenant Keeping Lord and “Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”  (Psalm 121:4)  LOOK UP AND BEHOLD YOUR GOD!

Our Father and Our God, we come before You, once again, giving Glory and Honor to You! For You Alone are Worthy of all praise! There is none like You, neither will there ever be! For You Alone are Holy and Righteous! We bless You for revealing GODSELF to all who will call upon Your Name. We bless You for that day You opened the eyes of our understanding that we might behold The Light of Your Glory in the Face of Your Only Begotten Son, Jesus enabling us to accept His Life, Death, Burial & Resurrection as Substitutionary Atonement for our sin! We’re eternally grateful to Jesus’ Loving Obedience that caused Him to endure the suffering, despising the shame of Calvary’s Cross that we might be delivered, redeemed, vindicated, adopted to inherit the rich benefits of The Kingdom of God! For this cause we bow our hearts and our heads, in humble reverence crying out, Hallelujah to The Lamb of God!

We bless You Holy Father, for by Your Own Hand You have bought us unto GODSELF! For it is IN YOU that we live, move and have our very being! You are the Source and Sustainer Who Satisfies all life! We know that no man is justified by his own works but by faith IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST alone are we saved! We bless You Holy Spirit for abiding in us, leading, guiding, enabling all who have placed our personal trust in Jesus to live our lives everyday, yielding to The Spirit of Truth, which is able to transform us from Grace to Grace, perfecting us that we might exemplify Your Divine Nature to this lost and dying world!

Sweet Jesus, You are The WORD PERSONIFIED! We bless You for teaching us how to walk upright, enduring the mockery of those who despise and reject Truth! Your unconditional Love, Kindness and forgiveness towards us, while we were yet sinners, provokes us to love and forgive others who offend us, knowing not what they do. We bless You for Your Patience and Compassion that yet allows You to look at us through Blood-Stained Eyes, remembering our human frailty—EVEN SINCE WE’VE BELIEVED—and so graciously offering us mercy instead of justice, washing us in The Precious Blood of Jesus, cleansing us from all unrighteousness and restoring our peaceful fellowship with You, as we quickly repent by confessing our sin against You!

For this cause, we gladly present our spirit, soul and body as a living holy sacrifice to be used for Your Greatest Glory!

Precious Lord, because no man can come to the Father except you draw them, we intercede on behalf of every unsaved soul, please quicken the Spirit of Godly-repentance in their heart and in their mind that they will come to you today confessing a“sincere Yes” to your Amazing Gift of Grace and receive You as their personal Lord and Savior! We’re believing that You will Divinely orchestrate their footsteps settleling them into a local church home today.

Lord, we ask You to put a new “committed YES” in the heart and mind of every backslider! Let today be the day that they come back to You and come back to YOUR church where they will submit their lives to the sound teachings of Your Word, and learn to love Your Word and live their lives walking in holiness in order to please You First!

Father, we pray that You will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, kidney disease, heart/lung disease, dementia, sickle-cell, MS, Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Heavenly Father, You have decreed that You are Alpha and Omega, the same yesterday, today and forever! Therefore, even as You walked this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re Well Able to do the same right now! Your Word declares that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! Amen 3x!

Dear Lord, we’re believing for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine power, Supernatural Strength and Health, Wholeness, Provision, Prosperity and Protection! We’re trusting that You will preserve each and everyone of us thru the tests that we must go thru and keep us constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that at the appointed time,You, will bring us out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised in Your Holy Word!

Heavenly Father, we pray according to Your Will, for the leaders of our nation, corporate, judicial, education, financial institutions and our churches! We’re asking that You touch the minds and hearts, that You speak to them in the nighttime with dreams and visions! Let them know that You Who Sit Enthroned Above the Heavens is OMNSCIENT and keep records of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly!

Abba, we ask that You encourage and comfort the souls of Your Elect who are overwhelmed with fear, doubt and worry because of the things that are going on in our personal lives and in this ungodly world systems! Send Assurance that we are never alone, and never without Your Very Present Help!

Father, we’re thanking You for an outpouring of Your Divine Favor upon each and every one of your children who are seeking employment, promotion, approval for student/car/home loans! We acknowledge YOU as Jehovah Jareh, Who shall supply all of our need according to Your Riches in Glory!
Father we decree that every demonic-induced spirit of addiction and fear is defeated NOW because of Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness and Purpose is being released in the lives of Your people now, in Jesus Name!

Heavenly Father, as we close our prayer, we bring so many before Your throne O God. Those who are broken hearten, trapped by sorrow and grief, feeble in body and spirit, the one at a crossroad of life, the ones addicted to harmful substances, our armed forces, policemen, fire and rescue personnel, nurses, doctors, pastors and leaders, missionaries far and near; our leaders of the world. We’re trusting You to send peace where there is confusion, send love where there is hate, send unity where there is division. Bless the fatherless and motherless. Keep us ALL in your care. These favors we ask in Jesus mighty name!!For we believe that YOU WILL KEEP ALL WHO WANT TO BE KEPT!

Father we wait in confidence and quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shameful defeat, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Abba Father, we stand in agreement with You Who hears ours prayers and forgives our transgressions! Holy Father, because You have chosen to call us ‘MINE’, we shout with exceeding Joy unto The Hope of all the earth, believing that as Your face shines upon us, You are making Your Ways and Salvation known among all nations for You Guide and Rule justly!

Father, we thank You NOW, for WE believe that it is done! In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen 3X and It Is So!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT JESUS STILL SAVES! HALLELUJAH!

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”…being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. Romans 4:18, 21

 

Do you remember, as a child, ever being warned by your parents (supposing to avoid the pain of disappointment),“Don’t get your hopes up”? For many of us, the devil was laying a foundation for years of pessimism, doubt, unbelief, hopelessness, low self-esteem, depression and despair! WOW! Who Knu?

Ever wonder why God told us not to walk by our feelings? Well, if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably accumulated enough regrets, resulting from poor choices you’ve made listening to your fickle-feelings, to realize how irrational flesh can be, huh?

Let’s set the record straight! Sometimes, it’s difficult to ascribe a tag to feelings; feelings jus are! Directed by proper motivation, feelings are good! That’s why we need the Spirit of Discernment! Remember, when out of no where, you felt that bleep that kept on bleeping up  out of your spirit and something told you…‘don’t go that way, stop right now and turn around or call so-and-so, pray for him now?

Unfortunately, more often than not, we’re tempted to dismiss things if it doesn’t fit within the realm of our logic. Kinda like Abram’s first response to the burning bush! Yet, something pricked his curiosity to closely investigate and ultimately leading him into a personal encounter with The Supernatural Almighty God!

Abram over-ruling emotions and human reasoning, choosing to consider not what he could see (circumstantial evidence) but rather believed and reached for what was not seen! That was faith, yall!

Now, the world looks at this and calls it foolishness, weakness and denial! However, the scriptures reveal that Abram was clearly aware that except by Divine Intervention, it was impossible for a 100 year old man and a 90 year old woman to conceive and birth a child! Because God does nothing in the earth until He gets a man to come into agreement with Him, have you ever wondered what if Abram and Sarai had continued to jus laugh off the promised as an impossible pipe-dream, if perhaps…???

No doubt over the next 25 loonnng years, Abram faced many demonic challenges tempting him to give up his hope of  living to see the manifestation of such a miraculous feat. Yet, against all hope, Abraham hope on! Oooh Glorraa2GAWD! God testified that because Abram believed that His God had the power to shift nature and call those things that be not as though they were, Abraham received the Promise and thus became the Father of our faith!

Howeverrr, how often have we insisted upon ignoring that still small voice of conscience to satisfy feelings of our own lusting, self-centered emotions driven by fear of ‘What if and What’s in it for me’? Even if it means forfeiting our Hope and God’s Peace?  OMG! The next time, perhaps we need to re-think before we act on them, huh? #ijs

Beloved, HONESTLY! This walk of faith that GOD EXPECTS is NOT REALLY all that unreasonable when your HOPE is firmly rooted and ground in Jesus Alone, consistently trusting, wholly relying upon HIS Supernatural Grace to strengthened us to walk out our faith, looking unto JESUS, obeying HIS teachings and patiently awaiting HIM to fulfill every Promise that HE has ever spoken over our lives! #Didjaheardat? SLAVE2HOPE!

The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 24:1

 

Here I go again, reflecting back to days gone by. Perhaps, it’s because I just recently celebrated  another birthday, yall! Nevertheless, perhaps a few of my readers may remember the words of that Great R&B Prophet, James Brown’s hit song recorded in 1966, “This is a Man’s World!” My My! Did we ever groove off of that one. However, in retrospect (accompanied by a good ol’ dose of The Holy Ghost), I must confess “Boy were we ever wrong!”

In fairness to my fellow human-kind, it’s no wonder we were attracted to those lyrics. Given the fact that it supports man’s insatiable urgent need to dominate, control and conquer his environment. I suppose this mindset has it’s own advantages. For some at least, it alleviates that pesty loathsome notion of accountability, huh?

As life long east coast residents of The DMV, some of us are now living in a suburban tree lined, street lighten, well manicured lawn, 3-car garaged mini-mansions, just outside of the metropolis, in gated communities from which periodically we’re forced to venture onto rush-hour crowded cement roadways up to historical monuments of governmental, judicial, legislative, communication systems, financial and academia institutions, state of the art medical facilities, opera halls, convention and shopping centers, fine cuisine restaurants, fast-food drive-thru lines, soccer fields, football and base ball stadiums–it’s easy to forget! Oh Yeah, we’ve come a long way, baby! But God has a way of making Truth clear as the ground you walk on, remember that earthquake no body expected?

With so much going on in our sophisticated Hi-Tech 21st Century lives, we’ve created a man-made superficial reality that subtly separates us from the Eternal Truth. Whether you call home The White House or the out-house, we’re all co-inhabitants of a massive celestial sphere, constantly turning, masterfully choreographed from eternity past through time into eternity future at the specifically detailed instructions of The Universal Sovereign Invisible Creator! My Lord!

While The Bible teaches us there’s a place in our lives for worldly wisdom, ambition and hard work, it also cautions us that we must never allow any of these things to take precedence over our aspiration and commitment to seek to fulfill our God ordained purpose for being part of His Story! Sadly, many a person has left this world (and all their accumulated richest) wealthy, according to this world’s standard, yet spiritually impoverished; never knowing nor desiring the benefits of living life to the fullest intent of The Life-Giver. (Ref. John 10:10)

According to God’s Word, the soul is the most valuable possession of man’s life! It is The Father’s greatest desire to live in eternal fellowship with the most precious of all his creation—mankind! In order to get His Plan back on track, God’s literally tore Himself apart to accomplish so great a Salvation by demolishing the the enmity of our sinful rebellion against His Lordship!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. “ John 3:16

Through the eye-opening repentant heart, The Light of Life is miraculously revealed, The Majestic Radiance of The King of Glory is esteemed and Grace is dispensed saturating and quenching the thirst of the way-faring soul! Man discovers, much to his delight, that truly… THIS IS GOD’S WORLD! #PEACEOUT!

What is ‘The Gospel’?

Today, we hear so much stuff preached under the auspices of ‘The Gospel’ that it’s no wonder that a lot of folk are confused. In its purest essence, The Gospel is ‘The Good News’! I’ll go all out there and say that it’s ‘the bestest ever’ news that anyone can get in this life time!

Discovering that one day, before you or I were born, a man named Jesus, paid the penalty for a crime for all of man-kind, is life altering. Even more astounding, is the fact that He, Who was completely innocent of all charges, took the blame for us who were absolutely guilty!

Although, there were no cameras in the court room that day, but it’s been clearly documented (The Bible) that when the charges against HIM were read, Jesus never uttered a single word in His own defense but stood silently before His accusers, ready and willing to take the judgment and the punishment upon Himself rather than allow us to be condemned!

When the verdict came in and the gavel was slammed down, instead of you and I who should’ve been judged and sentenced to prison for life for our guilt and shame, Jesus was convicted and condemned to death on Calvary’s Cross!

That day, as recorded in history, because of Jesus, the prison doors that would’ve held all of mankind captive were broken wide open, releasing us from eternal damnation and freeing us to live forever in The Kingdom of God!

Oh Happy Day! Knowing that God loves us so much that He was willing to sacrifice His First-Born Son Jesus, to become sin that we might become righteous is almost unbelievable! But ! If we will believe it anyhow, we shall escape the penalty due for our own sin and be adopted into the Family of God!

Finding out that this deal is still on the table; available to anyone, talk about Good News! No matter who, what, or where you’ve been; be it prostitute, murderer, drug dealer, thief or even a churchgoer who never actually asked and received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, you’re still eligible! That’s Awesome!

Today is A New Day! By confessing that we’re sinners and trusting in The Life of Jesus Christ, we can begin, again! That’s the Good News!

When Satan tries to remind you of what you used to be, just inform him “Look stupid, obviously, you’ve got the wrong man!” Then, direct him to The Book! “If any man be in Christ Jesus, He is a NEW creation, old things are passed away; behold hold all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The door is open! What are you waiting for? What a difference a day makes!

JESUS JOY!

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  John 15:11

 

If the only evidence that the prosecution had to convict us of being Christian was our countenance or our dispositions, our case would be thrown out and we’d get off scott-free! A lot of folk are claiming salvation, naming the Name of Jesus and on their way to heaven anyhow, but most of them don’t seem to be enjoying the trip. If so, they forget to send an IM from their heart to their face!

If anybody should have joy, it’s the saints of the Most High God. But if the Saints are walking around with our heads hung down, broke, busted and disgusted with everything and everybody, then how can we persuade a lost world that life goes better with Christ? Don’t shout me down , now!

Perhaps, some of us have become wearied on the journey of life because we’ve mistakenly equated joy with happiness. While happiness is an emotional response based merely on enjoyable circumstances, joy is a constant internal state embedded in the Love of God, producing serenity and tranquility totally independent of external conditions.

Jesus looking from eternity past and seeing the many souls that would be saved, overwhelmed with joy made a conscious commitment to endure the pain, despise the shame, become obedient, even to death on the Cross of Calvary that His joy, might be poured out upon His people. (Ref. Hebrew 12:20) Guess what, that makes YOU the joy of Jesus!

There’s more to Joy than goose-bumps. Nehemiah 8:10 says, “The joy of the Lord is our strength”.

Jesus Joy is a weapon of mass destruction in the believer’s arsenal. Hence, Jesus Joy is empowerment to overcome any challenge with courage and confidence!

Just knowing that every promise in The Bible is ours to claim with the assurance that Jesus will never ever leave nor forsake us should make every Born-again, Blood-washed child of God’s heart swell up to the overflow with pure Jesus Joy until we can’t help but HOLLA and THROW UP BOTH OF MY HANDS!

Didjaheardat? JESUS OVER YOU! WOW,  NOW DATZ POWERFUL!
