“Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.” Psalm 65:1-2

 

Being Pentecostal, born and bred, means that I am accustomed, and I might add, a willing participant, to exuberant praise and worship. So can you imagine my surprise, to discover that God-Honored Adoration is not necessarily limited to loud singing, hand-clappin’, foot-stomppin, shoutin’ and dancing to drum thumping, key-board tickling, guitar pick’n tunes escalating His Glory!

Who nu? There is a high praise in God, where the weary souls, thirsty and hungry for an escape from the chaos and confusion of this world’s clamor, finding rest, peace, security, strength and hope, fall prostrate into HIS PRESENCE!

There’s a secret place, a Cleft hued out in The Impregnable Rock of Salvation, where mere words are no longer necessary, and sighs are welcomed, giving way to hope-filled silence, birthing unspoken-bellows of acceptable obedient prayers and God-Centered Praise and Worship!

There is an epiphany where we all must ascribe to reach in God, where we practice appreciation and respect for HIM by disciplining ourselves, focusing our minds and making a conscious decision that regardless of my circumstances, I’m going to Bless God—not just for all of His Goodness to me—BUT for WHO HE IS!

In this lofty estate, time spent waiting on The Lord is no longer full of anxious frustration, but quiet peaceful resting in child-like confident anticipation, trusting that you’re being kept safely, far from your conspirators’ reach, hidden in The Glory of His WONDEROUS PRESENCE.

As God’s Chosen, you’re surrounded by a Fortress, the Builder and Maker is The Creator of The Universe, where we can breathe easily, waiting patiently, for as long as HE says,  fully assured that everything we will ever need and hope for comes from HIM—JESUS!

#DIDJAHEARDAT? The Holy Spirit is calling! Be still, in that Peace-Filled-Knowing that all of your Help and Hope of Glory abides in The All-Powerful God,  EL SHADDAI…your GOD! SILENT PRAISE! #WOW #AWEMAAZIN, huh?

Yep! Ain’t no getting around it, because it’s still The Eternal Word of God, huh? I’m talking about that pesty-provoking-pressure-on-our-pleasure, five letter word “pride”! As the ol’ skool preacher would say, ‘I jus lost ¾ of my church’! LOL!

If you’ve been saved more than 25 years, you’ve seen subtle transitions taking place in the Christian Community. I’m referring to the greater emphasis being levied on the side of accumulating creature comforts rather than developing Christian character. While, there’s no denying that our Heavenly Father delights in the prosperity of His children, He distinctly distinguishes His Prosperity Plan from the system of this world, by including ‘even as your soul prospers, huh? (Ref. 3 John 1:2)

Of course, we know that God’s Ways are not ours and we’re eternally grateful that His thoughts are not like our, huh? Yet, many a wandering wayfaring person has been drawn down to the altar, enticed by the lure of a prolific prophetic preacher, promising peace and prosperity. Although this message has elements of doctrinal truth, upon closer examination, it can dilute the integrity of basic biblical foundation! Hence, leaving some believers with lop-side expectations and ill-prepared to walk out their journey of faith.

The New Millennium Church has adapted to The Burger King mentality that says, ‘If I can’t have it my way, then I’ll hit the highway’! While that attitude may work at a fast-food chain, it won’t get you off the run-way in the Kingdom of God. The last time I caught a breath, Jesus was still LORD! Therefore, He has the right to expect loyalty, faithfulness and obedience from those He has created!

God knows that it’s difficult for flesh to be humble! That’s why HE put these flesh-killing scriptures in The Book! Yall know, flesh wants to set up its own kingdoms and not submit to anything or anyone. Flesh wants to dominate; to be in charge; have its own way; be right; be the best and not ever admit that ‘I’m wrong, not perfect, it’s my fault; I need help, forgiveness…or I don’t know what to do!

Flesh wants folk to come to us; look up to us; be admired and yes even envied! Flesh wants to be first in line following the Apostle, Bishop and the Pastors. Flesh wants to sit on the front row so it can be noticed—to go higher, IN THE LORD, of course!

We like to quote the scripture, ‘resist the devil and he’ll flee from you’, right? However, more often than not, we leave out the first part, ‘submit yourself to God...and then you’ll have the power to resist the devil’! OMG, does it really say dat? Indeed! In the Kingdom, the way up is down!

God says, ‘humble yourself’—BUT–IF YOU CAN’T, HE WILL HELP YOU! Chances are He’ll raise up a devil, a situation, a problem, a need, a national threat, a global economic collapse! Sometimes, He’ll allow trouble to come knocking at your door, your church, job, wallet to get your attention long enough for you to humble yourself and have to pray! God knows that as long as we’re living high-on-the-hog, we’re prone to spiritual amnesia and assume that He’s okay playing second fiddle! NOT!

The Kingdom of Heaven has it’s own stimulus plan and it ain’t about to change! The strength and power of God’s Covenant relationship with His people is based on the parties involved doing what they’ve sworn to do. The position of GOD is permanently filling space and time! Remember, HE IS GOD & U R NOT!

It’s a highway to Heaven, however you’ve got to be willing to take the low road 2 get there! As we yield our entire lives to GOD’ S WILL, WE SHALL REAP THE KING’S ETERNAL REWARDS! #THE PATH TO GLORAAAA!

Good Morning Family, once again, we’re excited to invite you to join us today in our Corporate Day of Fasting and Prayer between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We know that there’s much to place before The Throne of Mercy and Grace personally and on behalf of our loved one, friends and this world in which we live. As them ol’ skool saints used to say, “those who know the word and worth of prayer”, let’s us pray believing that God hears and answers according to the Power that works within us!

 

We love You Lord, and we lift our voice, to worship You! Oh my soul,  rejoice! Take Joy my King, in what You Hear and let it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your Ear!  Shall we pray?

 
Dear Heavenly Fathers,  we come together now thanking you for this day! For this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless You Lord Jesus for making a Way for us to approach The Throne of Mercy with a holy boldness and confidence that You sit on The Right Side of The God Who Is, Was, and Shall Eternally Be The One True God, Creator of Everything interceding for us as The Great High Priest!

Abba Father, we come this morning thanking you for the honor and privilege that you have bestowed upon us by choosing us to be your very own children! We thank you for being The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We pray for forgiveness, renewed strength, wisdom, understanding and power to walk every day in a manner that pleases and exemplifies How Great You Are!

Lord Jesus, as You already know, there’s so much going on in our world today that is vexing the very souls of Your people, yet we’re so grateful that our hope is fixed as our hearts are rooted in Truth that You are yet  in control of ALL THINGS! We acknowlege that but for Your Grace and Mercy, our lives could’ve been cut short, due to the wickedness that’s running rampant in our world. Father, we’re very thankful that even in days of impending chaos and destruction, the safest place in this whole world in in YOUR PERFECT WILL! 

Precious Lord, we pray that you save the lost, and reclaim every back-slider; Father, put a committed yes in their heart and in their mind that they will come to you and receive you as their Lord and Savior. Bless them now, place them and settle them into a church home today that they may be love, and instructed in Your Perfect Plan for their lives.

Lord, we lift up before you every one who is going thru a season of grief because of the lost of a loved one, those who have been victimized by divorce, lost of employment, bankrupty and foreclosures! We plead the Blood of Jesus over the demonic thoughts, spirits of infirmities, afflictions, fear, anxiety, oppression, depression, drug and alcohol addictions and confusion, because we know that You are not the author of any of these, but You have given us who have put our personal trust in Your Son Jesus, Your Righteousness, Love and Joy in The Holy Ghost! We lift up every believer who is yet holding on to your Hand by faith today that you will release a double anointing of Your Divine Peace, Power, Supernatural strength, health, wholeness, provision, prosperity and protection. We rebuke the spirit of poverty in spirit, soul and body of everyone who’s covered under The Blood of Jesus Christ!

Lord, we pray also Father, that you will preveserve them thru the every test that You have allowed us to go thru confidently assure that You will bring us out restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in your Word. Encourage us and empower us with an overwhelming consciousness of Your Abiding Presence! We ask that The Prince of Peace fill our hearts and our homes with peace, love, and joy! We ask believing for immediate debt release, trusting that all their financial needs are met, and they have more than enough to be a blessing to others.

Father, we pray for every eye that reads and says this Prayer come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation that is greater than God, for God is greater than all, God is greater in all, God is greater through all, and God is greater upon all. For You God, are the Most High God Almighty of all the Universes is truly the Greatest of All.

Lord, we pray as you have commanded in Your Holy Word, for all our enemies, and those who have used and abused us, and have lifted up their hands and their tongue against us. By faith, we now forgive them for all they have done. In Jesus Name, for I am a Child of God.
Father, we are so grateful that as we continue to walk closely with You, we understand that every battle that we have ever encountered in our lives is always in the control of Your Loving hands, for You, O have Sovereignly Ordained everything to work together for our highest good and Your Greater Glory!
Once again, Father our hearts are burdened to pray for every one who has for whatever reason walked away from you shall be provoked by the anointing that is on our prayer, to come back to you today and that you will put a new ‘YES LORD’ in their hearts and a willful obedience in their spirit to live the rest of their lives faithful and committed to Your WILL (WORD) and WAYS!

Abba Father, in the midst of the elections that are going on in our nation, we’re trusting you to incite Your people to fast and pray for wisdom, courage and confidence that whoever is nominated for whatever position, their hearts and lives are in Your Hands! Give us the assurance that nothing happens except You ALLOW! We’re thankful that You taught us to pray for our leaders in every area of our society, knowing that while we soujourn in the earth, our true citizenship is in Heaven. Therefore, let THY KINGDOM COME AND THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!

Father God we ask that anyone reading this prayer, wondering why they even find themselves reading it, will bow their hearts toward You now, confessing their need for you in their lives, acknowledging your Amazing Love towards them, in appreciation will invite The Lord Jesus Christ to ‘come into my life and change my heart now! Thank You Father that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord, my Savior, and my King, and confess this day and every day that I am highly FAVORED by God and man! ‘

Lord, we pray, that these words be believed, received and accepted into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every tongue that confesses them in The Name of Jesus Christ.

We pray trusting, believing, receiving and accepting God’s miracles into our lives and into the lives of our families and friends, this day and every day, for God’s Divine favor is now our heritage, in Jesus Name. Amen 3x! It is done! Alleluia!

YOUR ANSWER IS AT THE DOOR!

UR ANSWER IS AT THE DOOR

Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer the door. When she recognized Peter’s voice, she wa so overjoyed she ran back without opening it and exclaimed, “Peter is at the door!” Acts 12:13-14

 

According to Acts Chapter 12, the 1st Century Church was experiencing phenomenal growth as the Gospel spread. Not surprisingly, everybody was not excited about what God was doing! The people were leaving the synagogue in droves to follow the Message of this relatively new (and suspect prophet) Jesus Christ. The religious leaders were quite upset because their social and economic status was diminishing as the offerings were declining with so many of their big time supporters leaving the Temple. In order to gain political clout, recognition and favor within the Jewish community, King Herod Agrippa launched an all hands on deck campaign to quench the fire of this Gospel preaching by killing as many leaders of this so call “Christ Ones’ Movement”. Now, it’s Peter who was locked up awaiting execution. BUT GOD BLOCKED IT!

God sent an angel into the Maximum-Security Detention Center, where Peer was chained hand and feet in stocks under the watch of 16 armed guards assigned to secure one unarmed Preacha! WOW! I must point out that (unlike a lot of us) Peter was not up pacing the floor crying, ‘Why me, Lord’ or accusing God for letting this happen to him, but according to the text, Peter was sleeping so hard that the angel had to hit him forcefully just to wake him up! The Bible says, immediately the chains fell off of him. Everything happened so fast, Peter thought he was having a dream or a vision!

Once he came to himself and realized that he was free, Peter decided to catch up with his boys (who were most likely at John Mark’s Mother’s house) and let the know what The Lord had done. Unbeknownst to Peter, while he was locked up in prison, they were having a shut-in (all night prayer meeting)! While they were ernestly seeking God’s help on behalf of their brother, Peter knocked on the door! Rhoda, the servant girl, went to the door, seeing Peter, got so excited that she ran to tell the others and she forgot to open the door to let Peter in. When they finally opened the door and saw Peter standing there, the scripture say they were utterly astonished. Didjaheardat? They were praying to God, but not really expecting their prayers to be answered. #OUCH! Sounds like some of us, huh?

How many times have you, with your sanctimonious self, taken the time to pray for something not really expecting God to answer your prayer? Or worse yet, failed to recognize the answer when it came knocking at your door? Yall know, we have a tendency to allow what we’ve experiences in the past to get in our present circumstances and rob us of now faith!

God is Sovereign! Hence, His Ways are not our ways! We must remember that when we pray, we’re not praying to a mere mortal or some distant-disinterested,-sub-diety—BUT THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD WHO CAN DO ANY AND EVERYTHING! In fact, it grieves the Holy Spirit when He sends answers to our prayers and they’re returned to Him stamped ‘unclaimed’! When we pray we must know not only does God care about everything you care about, but He is willing and able to give you those things that you desire of Him, that’s according to His Word!

Precious Ones, don’t miss your breakthrough because it doesn’t look like what you were expecting. Don’t give up! Keep on praying; keep on knocking! Keep on believing! God’s listening and any moment now expect to be blessed! TRUST2KNOW; YOUR ANSWER WILL SOON BE AT THE DOOR!  SSHHHH! What’s dat?

Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God, GOTTA MOMENT? AWESOME!

Once again, we’re excited to have you join us today in our Weekly Day of Corporate Prayer and Fasting between the hours of 6:00 am. – 3:00 p.m. We’re  living in the midst of trying times, and as our Savior instructed His disciples, these kind come out by nothing BUT PRAYER & FASTING! I am beseeching every believer who yet believes that the prayers of the righteous availeth much to entreat The Great High Priest, trusting that revival and deliverance will come to our Nation, America, quickly!

Welcome Holy Spirit! We are in Your Presence! Fill us with Your Power; come live in side of Us! You’re our Living Water; never ending Fountain! Comforter and Counselor, TAKE COMPLETE CONTROL AS WE  PRAY…

Abba Father, we come before You today, In the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, rejoicing, praising and thanking You for blessing us to see a brand new day. We thank You, Father for another opportunity to embrace and enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Father, we come now thanking You for the blessed honor and privilege that You have given us when You determined to choose us to be Your very own children! Now we can confess with delight and joy that You are The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We’re eternally grateful that because You know our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion yet allows You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to all of our need!

Jesus, we ask that as You search our hearts, please forgive us for every word we’ve spoken, thought, every action, reaction that we’ve done or failed to do that was in violation against Your Holy Word. We pray that Your cleansing Blood will wash away every sin and cast them into the sea of forgetfulness now, in Jesus Name! Amen 3x

We magnify You Lord, from a heart open to, depending and relying only on You, for renewed Strength, Wisdom, Understanding and Power. We recognize that no man can come to the Father except You draw them, therefore Father we ask that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind that you draw and save the lost, put a spirit of Godly-repentance to say “YES” in their heart and in their mind that they will come today and receive You as their personal Lord and Savior! Direct their footsteps, and place and settle them into Your ordained church home today.

Abba Father, we ask You RESTORE the “YES” in the heart and mind of every backslider and allow today to be the day that they come back to You and come back to YOUR church fully committed by The Grace of The Holy Spirit, to live out the rest of this life Holy, proving what is good, acceptable and perfect unto You.

Father, as we’re praying, we’re believing that as You touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and every disease, especially the spirit of cancer, heart, kidney failure, lung diseas, arthiritis, drug addictions, high blood/low blood, deafness, blindness is being rebuked and cast out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, your Word declares that your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, as You well know, today we live in a world where the very elect are being constantly bombarded, intimadated, threatened and persecuted by a god-hating rebellious society of people, we also acknowledge that the Earth which You have created is wrestling to escape the corruption of a sinful nature therefore, we humbly lift up before Your Throne, every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine Power, Supernatural Strength, Consolation, Health, Provision, Prosperity, Protection and Peace!

We ask also Daddy, that You will preserve us thru the tests that we must go thru and keep us constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE; fully-confident that You will bring us out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised us in Your Word!

Father we lift up our spiritual leaders, asking a special blessing upon each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit. We pray that You Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love, trust wholly in and to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

We ask Heavenly Father, that you will stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name so that they will have a desire to increase their personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Lord, we pray that every demonic-induced spirit of temptation, addiction and fear be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness be released now, in Jesus Name!

Father, we now wait in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that every single worker of iniquity is trembling and departing suddenly in shame, turning their backs away from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, we thank You, honor and praise You now, for we know that it is done! In The Exalted, Majestic Name of our King Jesus. Amen 3x AND IT IS SO!!

DO U ANNOY GOD?

DO U ANNOY GOD

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me…And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Luke 18:1-5, 7

 

Do you ever feel like you’re annoying God? Hold on, don’t click me off. This question is not intended to condemn but to awaken your spirit to a liberating truth.

Some people think that if you repeatedly bring the same petitions or desires before The Lord, you run the risk of praying amiss. Apparently, based on the premise that by bringing it up again,  obviously you’re no longer operating in faith, but in doubt!

But, Jesus said that we should always pray! Truthfully, our Heavenly Father is ecstatically overjoyed when we come, as little children, boldly to the Throne of Grace and cast our cares upon Him. Hence, this lets God know that we’re yet trusting Him to respond to our prayers with Mercy and Grace.

Unlike the unjust judge, who responds out of annoyance, disgust and frustration, your Heavenly Father honors your faithful persistence with loving compassion. God is not intimidated by our persistent prayers. He knows that we’re simply acknowledging that He alone has the Power to bring to pass anything we ask of Him.  Ain’t dat amazing?

Don’t allow nothing or nobody to stop you from praying until you see God move in your situation. Because God empathizes with our feelings, He is never annoyed when we call out for His help.

Beloved, continue to trust Him to work His purpose through your situations knowing, even though it may tarry, the answer shall surely come! Don’t allow the pressures of your present situation to cause you to panic, but remain confident that at the  appointed time, He will speedily defend, protect and avenge the one whom He finds persistent in faithfulness!

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrew 11:6

ANNOY GOD? IT’S OKAY; YOUR BREAKTHROUGH IS IN YOUR PERSISTENCE!

COURAGEOUS TRUST!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee, for thou hast delivered my soul from death; …will, not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living? 

Psalm 56:3,13

 

Today’s scripture text is a reminder that each and every day we might as well expect to be attacked by the enemies of our soul. In fact, according to the Apostle Paul we should not even consider it a strange phenomenon. Yes!  Even after we’ve confessed our faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, you can’t expect that deceitful devil to wave a white flag, pat you on the back and throw you a retirement party! For lack of a better word, he is committed to tearing down The Kingdom of God, one soul at a time.
 
Does this mean that the people of God are defenseless? Absolutely, positively NOT! As a born-again, blood-washed child of The Most High God, just as sure as there is an enemy determined to destroy you,  you have The True and Living God, Who has sworn by Godself, to always cause you to be victorious! (Ref. 2 Corinthians 2:14)
 
As a child of The Most High God, we have been anointed and authorized by the Lord of Hosts to annihilate the works of the devil. But you must remember, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but spiritual! It is THE WORD OF GOD!  When you speak God’s Word, it comes alive and releases the power to rebuke  the threats and pull down the strongholds of your enemies, unmercyfully!  If he is bold enough to raise his ugly head, because you are IN Christ, you have been empowered to step on his throat and cut off his head!
 
Be aware of the enemies attempt to diminish your confidence and trust in God thru FEAR (FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL)! As soldiers in The Army of The Lord,  you must stay on high alert, clothed in The Whole Armor of God, armed with the mind of Christ, fully persuaded that “No Weapon that’s formed against shall prosper!” you shall overcome the wiles of the devil  by God’s Grace! (Ref. Isaiah 54:17) Keep in the forefront of your consciousness that your God is Jehovah Shamah!  Hence, He’s not coming, HE IS ALREADY HERE  ready, willing and able to execute judgment on your behalf!
 
Rest assured, my precious ones, you and God make a majority! So, take a stand, dig in your heels, draw a line in the sand and with Holy Boldness proclaim, “COME WHAT MAY, I WILL TRUST IN THEE, MY GOD; NOW DEVIL, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!”
 
The same God Who  delivered your soul from the clutches of eternal damnation, will He not deliver your feet from falling prey to those awaiting to conquer your hope as well?#shonuff!
 
As Believers, our steps and  stops are being Divinely orchestrated by The Good Shepherd! As we walk confidently in the path that God sets before us, be confident of this very thing we are never alone!  Goodness and mercy SHALL  accompany me all the days of my life. Therefore, as I walk thru valleys overshadowed by death,  I shall delight in the Light of His Loving Presence! COURAGEOUS TRUST!!

“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:11-13

Once again, The Apostle Paul finds himself in a life-threatening situation, being unjustly accused by his former peers the Sadducees and the Pharisees, who now hold him in great contempt. Their hatred for Paul was so intense that they persisted, relentlessly, for several years to discredit and ultimately take his life. Regardless of how many times God frustrated their schemes, they were committed to his destruction. Kind of reminds me of the Devil, huh? And frightenly similar to the way some of the nation treated our President Barak Obama!

However, Paul’s accusers failed to recognize that Paul was a man on a mission for God! Since his Damascus Road conversion, the newly ordained Apostle had become so in tuned with the purposes of God that he refused to allow external circumstances to determine internal perseverance. Paul had discovered the secret of drawing on Christ’s power for strength rather than trusting in his own ability! Paul’s revelation that Jesus Is Lord, therefore in control of everything, gave him the fortitude to persevere in the midst of persecution, confident that none of these things will move me! (Ref. Acts 20:24)

In this day of 21st Century Christianity many of God’s people have been dupped by hefty doses of the more contemporized “Gospel Lite Theology”! Hence, in their minds, once you surrender your life to Christ, everyday is gonna be a tip-toe thru the tulips awaiting the Trumpet sound when they’ll be transported to the Pearly Gates of The Celesterial City. Unfortunately, real-life does not remotely resemble Hollywood’s version. Being a Christian does not promise we won’t experience test, trials and even tragedies. However, it does mean that God will be with us thru every single  challenge that we’ll ever face!

As we walk with The Good Shepherd, maintaing a consistent gratitude for what God has already done, a  hopeful expectation for the future and relying solely upon the All Encompassing Sufficiency of God’s Grace, we’ll learn to remain steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the Faithfulness of God’s Love! (Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:58)

I don’t care what’s or who’s threatenng to destroy your peace today arm yourself with the same Spirit of Faith that motivated, not only The Apostle Paul but our Ultimate Role Model of a man on a mission, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh, by the way don’t worry about threatening demonic forces who try to take you out, remember who created the bow and the archer! #ijs (Ref. Isaiah 54:16-17)

BELOVED, GOD HAS PERSONALLY POSITIONED YOU TO REPRESENT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN TO A LOST AND DYING WORLD! STAND YOUR GROUND AND SHINE ON!

I have set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.  Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine holy one to see corruption. Thou wilt show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:8-11

 

It’s often being said that these are the times that try men’s souls. And given the traumatic state of events that are happening in the world today, undoubtedly we must agree. But as Saints of the Most High God, we have this Blessed Assurance whispering to our souls  “Peace Be Still” for ‘come what may’ our times are yet in the Mighty Hands of our Lord and Savior!

God, our Heritage, has secured Divine Peace and Joy unspeakable for whosoever that will keep their minds focused on Him by continuously abiding in His Presence. (Ref. 1 Peter 1:8)

The Bible commands us to “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”, (Philippians 2:5) Hence, through the assistance of  Holy Spirit we have the power to stop yielding your mind to anxiety, fear, doubt, unbelief and worry.  When we allow these Satanically-induced responses access to our spirit, we give the adversary too much undeserved glory! Instead of meditating on the problems and cares of this world, we must strive to do like The Psalmist David,  by reminding ourselves that whatever circumstances we find ourselves; we are never outside the reach of The True and the Living God!

Be vigilant and watchful! Don’t sanction the enemy’s unlawful entrance to plant intimidating images in your mind!  Our thoughts, if left unrestrained, will become our words, and our words become our reality! The Bible admonishes us to quickly discipline, to bring under subjection, our thoughts and every spoken word, to the obedience of the Spirit of Christ. (Ref. 2 Corinthians 10:5)

What does God say about this situation? The Father of Grace and Peace has told us to not allow your hearts to be troubled. (Ref. John 14:1) He has your back! He is your Shield and your Buckler. (Ref. Psalm 18:2) There is safety in His Arms. He has both the authority and power to keep you. In the Presence of our Faithful Savior we find Eternal Pleasures. In His Presence, is Rest and Hope. Under the Shadow of His Wings is protection. (Ref. Psalm 16:11)

It’s not enough to just memorize the scriptures, but we must put His Word into practice by acknowledging His Presence. As we delight in His Presence and keep His Word in the forefront of our thoughts, we will not be so easily moved by our circumstances.

As we abide in the stillness of confident trust in The Omnipresent Creator and Omnipotent Sustainer of the universe, we’re covered by Glorious Presence of our Lord!

And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. Isaiah 32:17 (ESV)

Now unto Him that is able to keep me from falling and to present me faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise god my savior be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen  And so it shall be established. (Jude 1:24-25)

BELOVED, Jesus is calling you to put your faith to work! JUS 2 B CLOSE 2 HIM; IS MY DESIRE, right? ENTER INTO HIS GATES WITH THANKSGIVING AND HIS COURTS WITH PRAIZ! GO ‘HEAD…PRACTICE HIS PRESENCE!

And now, children, stay with Christ. Live deeply in Christ. Then we’ll be ready for HIM when HE appears, ready to receive Him with open arms, with no cause for red-faced guilt or lame excuses when He arrives. It might surprise you! One of the greatest deterrents to advancing The Kingdom of God in the earth is not ‘da devil’ BUT ‘Shallow Christians’! What is that, you ask. Well they’re not that hard to recognize. In fact, they’re probably your pew partners. Whhhaaaa? #ikr! While they confess their faith in The Lord Jesus, their walk does not line up with their talk, and as a result, most likely they’re confusing many who’ve yet to invite Christ into their lives as Savior and Lord!

OOOHHH Yessss I did go there! I know how churrch-folk are adamant about not judging, right? But, for your own safety, the Bible says a tree is known by the fruit it bears! More importantly, God knows those who are His! (Ref. 2 Timothy 2:19)

The preaching and teaching of this Gospel of Christ is still the best way to get souls saved, but sometimes His PR staff could use a refreshers course on what it means to live deeply in Christ!

Rest assured, God is not mocked! (Ref. Galatians 6:7) While we might impress some people with our 11:00 A.M. Sunday morning tongue-talking, pew hopping, propha-lyin, shout’n and danc’n, GOD KNOWS the difference between those who are faking it ’till they make it and those who freely rejoice in the mercy, compassionate, longsuffering, unconditional Love of The Heavenly Father, yet acknowledge that sometimes they miss the mark and have yet to reach perfection!

Shallow christians hide behind shameless excuses to continue to satisfy their ungodly cravings, but a true child of God will be quick to repent. GOD KNOWS those who are genuinely striving everyday to mortify the wickness of their flesh and live a life that pleases HIM even at their own hurt! After all, we are living epistles! It’s our holy lifestyle  that will advertise and promote the True Answer to mankinds’ most dire and desperate need–THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD, JESUS CHRIST!

I am by no means suggesting that this is easy nor is it a one and done thang! But God already took care of that too. He sent your Guardian, Holy Spirit, to live inside of you to teach and empower you to say no to sin and yes to righteousness!

Sometimes, it looks like Satan is gaining the upper hand, huh?  Beloved, don’t fall for the devil’s tricks and please don’t blame God! Trust 2 know, God ain’t scarred! Remember what happened when Jesus went to Hell, snatched the keys from his puny hands and got up proclaiming, ALL POWER IS IN MY HANDS?

God is raising up an army of disciples that no man can number; building a new nation of trusting believers who will obey His Voice; hewing out a courageous People who’re not ashamed to live righteously in the midst of darkness as a monument to HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, POWER AND MAJESTY!

Examine yourself? REPRSENT JESUS? LIVE DEEPLY?
