THE BENEFITS OF OBEDIENCE

For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. Psalm 10:3-4
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. Psalm 10:6-7

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee. ..These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:15-17, 21-23

 

I know that a lot of folk prefer to escape THE Truth in favor of the opinions of  the self-proclaimed ‘geniuses’ of this world’s culture, who ascribe to the more palatable theory of “no absolutes”! Nonetheless, the rest of us who have lived on both sides of The Cross, have concluded adamantly, “Let EVERY MAN BE A LIAR, AND GOD BE THE TRUTH! Okay,  as one of my favorite ol’ skool Preachers loves to say, “Nah, run down the aisle on dat!”

TRUTHBTOLD, everyday we’re faced with more and more evidence that the ideology of this present world is destined for a direct-hit collision with the reality that there is a SUPER BEING WHO IS, WAS AND WILL FOREVER BE in ABSOLUTE CONTROL OF THE COURSE OF THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF ALL OF HIS CREATION, INCLUDING HUMANITY! BELIEVETH THOU THIS? #ijs!!!!

While this truth is often disputed by those who favour the more liberating “I’m the Master of my own fate” persuasion, THERE YET REMAINS A REMNANT OF US WHO ARE FULLY PERSUADED THAT there will be no atheist in Hell!  #Don’t shout me down nah!!!

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. (Romans 1:21-22)

The arrogance of wickedness goes deeper than absolute unbelief! Rooted in the folly of his own imagination is the concept that God isn’t paying attention to what people are doing, therefore he’s getting away with every and anything his own evil heart desires! In other words, they foolishly assume that there ARE NO CONSEQUENCES 2 PAY! #WOW!

TRUST2KNO, nothing EVRRR catches GOD by surprise!The Ancient of Days watches patiently, examining and knowing the hearts of mankind, knows them that are HIS! God is not moved nor is He mocked by those who offer up lip service but have no intention of honoring His commands with faithful obedience!
However, those of us who yet cling to THE WORD, as if our very life depends upon HIM, have the Blessed Assurance that as we walk daily surrendering our hearts, minds and actions to the Righteous Commands of a Holy Heavenly Father, have an ETERNALHOPE that reaches far beyond this world!

When we find ourselves in the middle of trouble, we call upon Our Faithful Friend Who hears us and responds with Deliverance, Righteousness, Security, Peace, Fulfillment and Joy…GUARANTEEING VICTORY, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, FOR US AND GREATER GLORY FOR HIS NAME SAKE! #SERIOUSLY!

 
BUT FOR THE WICKED, WHO CHOOSE 2 FORGET GOD OR CHANGE HIS UNCORRUPTABLE GLORY 2 REFLECT THE IMAGE OF CORRUPTABLE MAN , IT IS NOT SO! HE REBUKES THEM AND LAUGHS AT THEIR DESTRUCTION! “but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming. (Psalm 37:13)

I know ‘it ain’t none of my business’, U gotta right to live anyway U wanna, right? #ijs…THERE ARE BENEFITS 4 OBEDIENCE! #ETERNAL LIFE! #NOW&LATER!

Welcome to one more new day! We’re so excited that you’ve joined us in our Weekly Thursdays’ Corporate Fasting & Prayer! We appreciate every opportunity that God allows us to entreat The Presence of our Great High Priest to pour out our hearts desires, petitions and supplications with Thanksgiving. We appreciatively acknowledge that our Heavenly Father delights in our embracing Him in earnest expectation, confident that He Reigns Forever by His Power and is willing and able to save and deliver us from any of life’s maladies! Shall we enter in?

Our Father and our God! Creator of Heaven and Earth, once again, we come before You humbled by Your Loving-Kindness, Grace and Mercy! We’re eternally grateful for one more opportunity to behold The Glory of Your Majestic Presence! We know that it’s only Your Wisdom and Strength that has allowed us to be alive today! We thank You for revealing to us such wondrous treasures that were hidden from our understanding, when we walked surrounded by darkness, as dead men in the earth and without a God on our side! For this cause we bow in humble awe!

Abba Father, we come with joy-filled hearts, upstretched hands and lips forever magnifying and adoring You! Oh, how awesome are Your works amongst the children of men! For it is You Who preserve our lives and keep our feet from slipping!

Daddy, we thank You, for even knowing our frame, Your Faithful Compassion continuously allows You to look beyond our human frailties, faults, failures and iniquities seeing yet You minister to all of our need and even bless us with the desires of our hearts, as You see fit! We honor and praise You today, from a heart open to, depending and relying solely on You for renewed power, strength and understanding to apply Your righteous statues to our lives that we may enjoy the abundant lives that You have predestined for us now and forever!

Abba Father, kneeling our hearts before You, we ask You to forgive us for every act that we have committed, willfully and unwillfully, every word spoken or thought that was not pleasing in Your sight, causing grief to Holy Spirit! We believe, according to Your Promise that as we confess and repent from a heart of sincerity, that You are Faithful and Just to forgive us, remove our sins from us, casting them into the Sea of Your Selective Forgetfulness, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness through The Word and the Blood!

Lord Jesus, help us to rest assured that YOU ARE SOVEREIGN and always in absolute control of all things. In light of the continuous influx of profound arrogance,  the deceitfulness of ungodly-mankind, legalized immorality perpetrated upon Your people from ‘the powers that be’, and the revolting of the heavens, winds, earth and seas erupting all around us, encourage our hearts to cling to TRUTH! Bless us to find and affirm that Your Grace is sufficient to keep us saved, safe and sane! Father, in times when we find ourselves swallowed up in the cares of this world and overwhelmed by sadden hearts and wearied spirits, please convict and strengthen our hearts that we may never fail to express our gratitude for Your Faithfulness to keep every covenant-promise You’ve ever decreed over those who place our personal faith in You! You are Good and Your Mercy endures Forever!

We Thank You, Jesus for hiding Your Beloved under The BLOOD! And as You provided Light and Provision for Your people in Goshen, even as we endure these days of imminent terror, tragedy, chaos and destruction, we know that the safest place in this whole world is in YOUR perfect will! Therefore, we trust that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that rises up again your children, thou shall condemn!

Lord, we pray for every one who is going thru a season of sorrow and grief at the lost of a loved one, those who are being victimized by institutionalized racism and systemic intimidation, Spirits of fear, rejection, disappointment and failure, divorce, lost of employment, bankruptcy and illegal foreclosures! We plead the Blood of Jesus over every demonic thought and prohibit demonic-induced assignments, spirits of anxiety, oppression, depression and confusion, because we know that You are not the author of these satanic thoughts and feelings, but You have given us who have put our personal trust in Your Son Jesus, Your Righteousness, a Spirit of Love, Peace, Joy and a Sound Mind!

Sweet Holy Spirit, because no man can come to the Father except You draw them, we interceded on behalf of every unsaved soul, asking You to quicken The Spirit of Godly-repentance in their heart and in their mind that they will come crying out to You, confessing with their mouths a “SINCERE YES” , accepting Your Grace Gift and are now receiving You as their personal Savior and Lord of their lives from this day forward! We’re believing, declaring and decreeing, that You are directing their footsteps, placing and settling them into a local church home where they are nurtured and encouraged to live holy, acceptable and committed to faithful obedience to Your Word!

Sweet Jesus, we ask You reclaim every soul that has turned their back and walked away from Your Will! Put a new “COMMITTED YES” in their heart, mind and soul and let today be the day that they come back to You and come back to The Body of Christ where they will submit their lives to the sound teachings of Your Word, learn to love and live their lives denying the lust of their flesh, walking daily to please and Glorify You to this lost, dark and dying world!

Father, as we pray, we believe that You will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by all manner of sickness and disease, rebuke and casting it out at the root, for Your Name Sake! Heavenly Father, You are Alpha and Omega, the same yesterday, today and forever! Even as You walked in this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re Well Able to do the same right now! Lord Jesus, Your Word declares that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on Your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! Amen 3x!

Lord, we pray that You will save, heal and deliver speedily by Your Mighty Hand, all those who are crying out to you, seeking Your Face at the very moment! Give us to know that because we belong to You, we are never too far that You can’t see us, reach us, and shield us from anything that the devil would rail against us. Help us to understand that Your Name, Jesus is a Strong Tower, and those that You hve declared the righteous run into it and are saved. Open up our minds and our hearts, filling us with Your Assurance, and confidence that at The Name of Jesus, every knee must bow and every tongue confess that You are Lord!

Abba Father, grace Your children with hope-filled trust that because You have committed Your Word towards us, no weapon that’s formed us shall ever prosper and except You allow it, no trouble, test or trial can come near us. Therefore, we are fully persuaded of Your Providential Presence and Power to turn everything around to work in our favor, to bring about exuberant testimonies and praizes of Your Eternal Magnificence, Honor and Glory!

Heavenly Father,  we pray, according to Your Will, lifting up the leaders of our nation, government, corporate, judicial, education, financial institutions and our churches! We’re asking that You touch their minds and hearts, visit them in the night, speak to them in dreams and visions and let them know that You Who Sit Enthroned Above the Heavens is keeping record of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly!

Father, we’re trusting You to release a sudden downpour of Divine Favor upon each and every one of Your children who are challenged by seemingly time-sensitive situations such as marital relationships, wayward children, loneliness, financial, employment and promotion issues, approvals of student/car/home loans! Assure them that YOU are Jehovah Jareh, who shall supply all of their need according to Your Riches in Glory!

Father, we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of addiction, perversion, poverty, doubt, failure, inadequacy and fear is defeated NOW because of Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power, Wisdom, Purpose and Prosperity is being released into every area of the lives of Your people now, in Jesus Name!

Lord Jesus, as we close our prayer, we confidently await Your Salvation in peace and quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling, suddenly departing in shameful defeat, recognizing that You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Abba Father, as Your Face shines upon us, we shout with joy unto The One to Whom EVERY MAN will bow in obedient reverence, The Hope of all the Ages!

Father, believing that IT IS DONE, In The Exalted Name of Jesus we offer up this prayer, IN JESUS NAME! Alleleujah! Amen 3X!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT JESUS LOVES YOU, YOU & YOU! #FRONTLINEMINISTRY

MAKE AMERICA RIGHT AGAIN

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34

Well? Guess What? I know that it’s uncomfortable and disconcerting to many, howeverrrr in the midst of our seemingly helplessness, and in a lot of cases, our hopelessness, I jus believe that some more bodies need to step up to the plate and acknowledge the HUMONGUS pink elephant in the room! After all, what else do we have to lose, right? So let me preface the rest of this writing with a disclosure! NOT FOR THE BLIND AND FAINT OF HEART!

Not surprising to some and yet debatable to others, we’re living in a duplicitous society! As the Great Prophet and Scribe, Bill Adkins, whom I dearly honor and respect, recently said, “What we thought could not happen, has happened! An American Pharaoh has been elected!”

Make no mistake about it!  Sequestered behind the supposedly-secretiveness of the voting booths America has shown it’s true colors! And I’m not talking about the red, white and blue! Many of my brown brothers and sisters, awakened that morning to hear the shocking news that our greatest fears had been realized, while many others whose hearts, once embittered by racism, now openly rejoiced ecstatically at the overwhelming successful enterprise of the most unlikely-least-qualified candidate in the history of AMERICA, The Land of The Beautiful! As David Duke, the former KKK Grand Wizard proudly tweeted, “This is one of the most exciting nights of my life. Make no mistake about it! Our people have played a huge role in electing Trump”!

Under the robes of political-ism, record numbers of white Americans flocked to the polls to elect their 21st Century Maverick of Law and Order, expressing their true sentiments and endorsing his brazen boldness to say out-loud what was usually constricted to the reclusiveness of like-minded-like-looking- folk and a few misguided-conditioned-blacks! Without the aid of bumper stickers and yard-signs, their encoded hypocritical message was blatantly published nation-wide from the board room, thru the court rooms and YESSS to the church houses, “Let’s Make America Great Again! “ OH NO SHE DIDN’T! YESSS I DID!!!

Unfortunately, while we were laughing, scratching our heads and throwing up our hands at the absurdity, the so-called real Americans were mobilizing to repeal and replace the advancements of other than White Americans and rectify the ultimate humiliation of having a Black man (and his family) (having been elected twice), residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue! Subsequently, in the aftermath of  what many hope to be the end of our beginning, we’re now forced to reconcile the once incomprehensible reality of the State of Black America under a Trump presidency!

Nevertheless, what’s some have failed to consider is that while we honor the excruciating pain of the back-breaking sacrifices endured by our fore-fathers and mothers, to ensure that the seed would prevail, allowing us to get here, we are not our Great-Grand-Father’s! Believe it or not,  the 21st Century Afro-American is a entirely new breed who refuses to bow in humble obeisance and accept the ‘yes saa massar’ self-engrandizing manipulation sociology and philosophy of the former slave masters. Don’t let our College degrees, zip codes, Red-bottom shoes, Michael Kors handbags and our Brioni ‘Ludovisi suits fool ya! The Truth of the matter is, we no longer feel the need to apologize for what the Hand of God has done for us!

Contrary to populist partisan fake news, all of us ain’t willing to take a bribe or go along just to get along! Undeniably, every white man ain’t a fascist bigot, every Muslim ain’t a terrorist, every Latino ain’t a drug-dealing-gang-banger and every so-called Christian ain’t a saint! Nevertheless, the truly born-again-blood-washed-Holy Ghost-sanctified believers, still believe that the God we love and serve is yet able to rescue and deliver us from captivity! Even in the worst of times, He’s proven GODSELF to be a GOOD GOD! TRUST2KNOW, The same God who kept us in the midst of JIM CROW is well able to keep us through the tyranny of JAMES CROW, ESQ.! Hence,  for our God abideth Faithful, Loving and Just!

While we’ve been instructed to pray for the leaders of our nation that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity, (Ref. 1 Timothy 2:2) it does not negate the fact that God watches over the righteous to preserve the faithful but abundantly repays the one who acts in pride. (Ref. Psalm 31:23)

Remember, nothing happens that takes GOD by surprise! And Saints, nothing happens that GOD does not allow! Could this grand-debauchery be a Clarion Call from The Throne Room of Heaven TO WAKE UP AMERICA?

WHATZ THE MATTER ZION? THIS AIN’T UR 1st RODEO! We’re IN this world, but we’re not OF this world! As we walk to the beat of a different drummer, we pledge our allegiance to The KING OF KINGS and the LORD OF LORDS! AMEN?

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Ain’t no time to give up! We ain’t in heaven yet! WE’VE COME THIS FAR BY FAITH, LEANING ON THE LORD! AND AMERICA IS OUR COUNTRY TOO!  In the midst of our frustration we must remember what the ol’ skool saints said, PUSH! Pray Until Something Happens! ANYBODY STILL BELIEVE IN THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS RELEASES TREMENDOUS POWER TO THOSE WHO TRUST IN THE LORD? #ijs

Regardless of who’s in The White House, GOD still LIVES IN OUR HOUSE! WAKE UP ZION AND LET’S MAKE AMERICA RIGHT AGAIN!!!

Good Morning Family, once again, we’re excited to invite you to join us today in our Corporate Day of Fasting and Prayer between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We know that there’s much to place before The Throne of Mercy and Grace personally and on behalf of our loved one, friends and this world in which we live. As them ol’ skool saints used to say, “those who know the word and worth of prayer”, let’s us pray believing that God hears and answers according to the Power that works within us!

 

We love You Lord, and we lift our voice, to worship You! Oh my soul,  rejoice! Take Joy my King, in what You Hear and let it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your Ear!  Shall we pray?

 
Dear Heavenly Fathers,  we come together now thanking you for this day! For this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless You Lord Jesus for making a Way for us to approach The Throne of Mercy with a holy boldness and confidence that You sit on The Right Side of The God Who Is, Was, and Shall Eternally Be The One True God, Creator of Everything interceding for us as The Great High Priest!

Abba Father, we come this morning thanking you for the honor and privilege that you have bestowed upon us by choosing us to be your very own children! We thank you for being The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We pray for forgiveness, renewed strength, wisdom, understanding and power to walk every day in a manner that pleases and exemplifies How Great You Are!

Lord Jesus, as You already know, there’s so much going on in our world today that is vexing the very souls of Your people, yet we’re so grateful that our hope is fixed as our hearts are rooted in Truth that You are yet  in control of ALL THINGS! We acknowlege that but for Your Grace and Mercy, our lives could’ve been cut short, due to the wickedness that’s running rampant in our world. Father, we’re very thankful that even in days of impending chaos and destruction, the safest place in this whole world in in YOUR PERFECT WILL! 

Precious Lord, we pray that you save the lost, and reclaim every back-slider; Father, put a committed yes in their heart and in their mind that they will come to you and receive you as their Lord and Savior. Bless them now, place them and settle them into a church home today that they may be love, and instructed in Your Perfect Plan for their lives.

Lord, we lift up before you every one who is going thru a season of grief because of the lost of a loved one, those who have been victimized by divorce, lost of employment, bankrupty and foreclosures! We plead the Blood of Jesus over the demonic thoughts, spirits of infirmities, afflictions, fear, anxiety, oppression, depression, drug and alcohol addictions and confusion, because we know that You are not the author of any of these, but You have given us who have put our personal trust in Your Son Jesus, Your Righteousness, Love and Joy in The Holy Ghost! We lift up every believer who is yet holding on to your Hand by faith today that you will release a double anointing of Your Divine Peace, Power, Supernatural strength, health, wholeness, provision, prosperity and protection. We rebuke the spirit of poverty in spirit, soul and body of everyone who’s covered under The Blood of Jesus Christ!

Lord, we pray also Father, that you will preveserve them thru the every test that You have allowed us to go thru confidently assure that You will bring us out restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in your Word. Encourage us and empower us with an overwhelming consciousness of Your Abiding Presence! We ask that The Prince of Peace fill our hearts and our homes with peace, love, and joy! We ask believing for immediate debt release, trusting that all their financial needs are met, and they have more than enough to be a blessing to others.

Father, we pray for every eye that reads and says this Prayer come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation that is greater than God, for God is greater than all, God is greater in all, God is greater through all, and God is greater upon all. For You God, are the Most High God Almighty of all the Universes is truly the Greatest of All.

Lord, we pray as you have commanded in Your Holy Word, for all our enemies, and those who have used and abused us, and have lifted up their hands and their tongue against us. By faith, we now forgive them for all they have done. In Jesus Name, for I am a Child of God.
Father, we are so grateful that as we continue to walk closely with You, we understand that every battle that we have ever encountered in our lives is always in the control of Your Loving hands, for You, O have Sovereignly Ordained everything to work together for our highest good and Your Greater Glory!
Once again, Father our hearts are burdened to pray for every one who has for whatever reason walked away from you shall be provoked by the anointing that is on our prayer, to come back to you today and that you will put a new ‘YES LORD’ in their hearts and a willful obedience in their spirit to live the rest of their lives faithful and committed to Your WILL (WORD) and WAYS!

Abba Father, in the midst of the elections that are going on in our nation, we’re trusting you to incite Your people to fast and pray for wisdom, courage and confidence that whoever is nominated for whatever position, their hearts and lives are in Your Hands! Give us the assurance that nothing happens except You ALLOW! We’re thankful that You taught us to pray for our leaders in every area of our society, knowing that while we soujourn in the earth, our true citizenship is in Heaven. Therefore, let THY KINGDOM COME AND THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!

Father God we ask that anyone reading this prayer, wondering why they even find themselves reading it, will bow their hearts toward You now, confessing their need for you in their lives, acknowledging your Amazing Love towards them, in appreciation will invite The Lord Jesus Christ to ‘come into my life and change my heart now! Thank You Father that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord, my Savior, and my King, and confess this day and every day that I am highly FAVORED by God and man! ‘

Lord, we pray, that these words be believed, received and accepted into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every tongue that confesses them in The Name of Jesus Christ.

We pray trusting, believing, receiving and accepting God’s miracles into our lives and into the lives of our families and friends, this day and every day, for God’s Divine favor is now our heritage, in Jesus Name. Amen 3x! It is done! Alleluia!

How many times have we found ourselves spurting this out? Whether out of a sense of cynical-rhetorical contemptuousness or an overwhelming comeback to the lusciousness of God’s unexpected favoritism, we can all identify with Mephibosheth’s response to King David. (Ref. 2 Samuel 9) Especially, since none of us can honestly claim that we deserve to be so blessed in the first place, huh? Truthfully, any good that we do is generally accidental. So as far as standing up to the standards God’s of Righteousness, we are all lame in both feet! (Ref. Romans 3:23)
 
But that’s the whole point! It’s the Wonder of God’s unmerited goodness that sets us apart from the rest of the world!
 
Knowing us from the inside-out, not just what you did–but why,  your Heavenly Father blessed you anyway! Despite all the justifiable circumstantial evidence to support our accuser’s objections, The Eternal Judge over-rules them, dismissing the case, covers you in His Robe of Righteousness, leaving them (and sometimes even us) scratching their heads, dumbfounded and paralyzed uttering in amazement “What jus happened?” 
 
Creation clearly demonstrates God’s propensity for details. Behold, how marvelously God pieces the individual segments of our lives to fit perfectly jointed together for our highest good and His Greatest Glory! (Ref. Romans 8:28) His Handiwork, often mysteriously hidden behind the clouds, weaving the highs and the lows, the strides and the falls, the haves and the have nots, lovingly bonding the momentary to the eternal, paints a collage that captivates the attention of that passerby to stop and ponder; taking much needed periods of reflection, introspection, covetously inquires “Why not me?”
 
THANK GOD for that day when, like Mephibosheth, we finally get it! Casting off fear, we fall prostrate before our Benevolent Faithful King in humble obedience, with everlasting joy, declaring “For you O Lord are my Everlasting Hope!” (Ref. Psalm 16:5)

GOD SO LOVED ME?  I KNOW IT MAKES NO SENSE, BUT…YES HE DOES!  AND HE ALWAYS WILL!

The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.  Jeremiah 31:3

 

As a child, I imagined God as this Supernatural Giant Bully, somewhere far off, standing above the circle of the Earth; eyes roaming throughout the north, south, east and west; scoping the territory for the worst of the unrighteous, anxiously anticipating His next victim of massive destruction.

No wonder, looking back my childhood was basically engulfed by constant fear, trauma and terror. Knowing that you’re cursed from birth, yet not knowing when your sins would have piled up reaching that mystical number thereby provoking the anger of God’s Wrath, until His sledge-hammer clutching Hand would pierce the sky, pouncing upon your head and smashing your body into bits and pieces, which would immediately be gathered up by demons and transported to The Devil’s Hell for all of Eternity!

Well! Not being raised in a church-going christian household, meant that most of my GOD knowledge came from an ungodly environment. So, because most of us just naturally assumed we were that pre-destined part of the ‘have-nots’, we attempted to comfort one another with sayings like “at least I won’t be there by myself; all of my friends are gonna be right down there with me; and we’re gonna parta forever!’ Okay, I hear yall sanctified folk gasping, but what else could you expect?

Can you imagine my surprise and the sheer delight of my fallen soul when my heart was exposed to The Life-Giving-Light-Gospel of Jesus Christ? Seriously! Who knew that such a Holy God, did in fact love sinners like me, so much that He actually gave up His Only Begotten Son, Who willingly sacrificed His Life, allowing sinners to be reconciled back to His Heavenly Father. Sounds incredibly unbelievable, huh? BUT IT’S THE TRUTH! (Ref. John 3:16)

Absolutely Amazingly! Despite man’s continuous proclivity to rebellion against GOD, the door yet remains open to anyone who will accept GOD’S Gracious offer of Salvation! HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD! (Ref. Romans 10:13)

His eyes continuously patrolling the earth, looking for a single soul, who’s trying to live a pure life pleasing to HIM, that HE might forgive that person! (Ref. Jeremiah 5:1-2) Can you imagine the grief? GOD being WISDOM, knowing that many have come swearing with their lips their dedication to GOD yet the wickedness of their lying hearts giving them away! Remember, “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” Proverbs 20:27

However, at the end of the day, I guess the question is not whether GOD is WHO HE SAYS HE IS, but rather the real question is, will you choose Truth and live or dare to resist THE LOVE OF GOD, defy THE POWER OF ALMIGHTY GOD and perish in your sin, huh?

Hope 2 C U at the Great Coronation! NOW DATZ GONNA BE A PARTA! TRUTH OR DARE?

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood.  Galatians 1:15-16

In today’s scripture text, we hear the testimonial of The Apostle Paul in response to The Lord’s prompting to go spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles. And we all know how that turned out, huh? 

GGGGLLLLORRRRRAAA 2 GOD! However, what stands out to me, is what Paul didn’t do!

The Apostle didn’t wait to get an Executive Order from The White House nor a congregational consensus before stepping out by faith. Instead of asking anybody what they thought about it, relying solely on his personal relationship with His Savior, feeling no need for further validation, The Apostle Paul immediately obeyed God’s instructions!

How about you? When you’ve heard from God, what’s your initial response? Before you move, do you have to survey the opinions of your family and friends? Does the fear of failure, embarrassment, humiliation or retaliation cause you to stagger at God’s Word? Are you willing to take a leap of faith and just do what you believe God is asking of you?

As believers, we’re sometimes reluctant to move out on a WORD FROM GOD. Not so much because we’re not trusting God, but more often than not, it’s because of a spirit of difiance deeply rooted in the lack of self-confidence in our own ability. Ooops…#noshedidn’t!

In an attempt to re-assure ourselves that we’re in God’s will, like Gideon, we will ask God for a sign and come up with some kinda obtuse fleece as further proof that it is actually God speaking. ( Judges 6) And while God so graciously granted Gideon’s request, twice, as believers, we must recognize that God often tests our trust and confidence by commissioning us to do what seems impossible!

That’s what our life in Christ is about. God doesn’t require us to walk by signs, but by hope-filled trust that whatever He asks us to do, by His Grace, we are well able to perform.

The Bible says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” John 10:27. As we entreat His Presence daily in prayer inquiring direction, thru diligent study  and meditation of His Word, we learn to distinguish His Voice from the chatter emanating from the world and He will teach you what He wants of you!

That’s why it’s so important to build an intimate relationship with your Heavenly Father and not just show up at The Throne Room for emergency visits! God really cares about you! He is not a dead-beat Dad nor is He willing to settle for weekend visitations! God wants to be actively involved in every aspect of your life, every day!

WHEN YOU KNOW HIM, YOU WILL KNOW HIS WILL!  WHEN YOU KNOW HIS WILL, YOU DON’T NEED TO CONFER WITH ANYBODY…BUT U GOTTA KNOW GOD’S VOICE! #canuhearMEnow!

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:19 
 

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Psalm 11:3 

 

God has given to those who have placed their personal trust in The Blood of Jesus for the saving of their souls, exceedingly great and precious promises!  Those of us who never ever believed that they could be invited to partake of so GREAT A SALVATION,  have latched on to this Blessed Hope as if our very lives depended upon it–and it does!  While rejoicing is indeed in order, it’s also important that we not indulge in THE WORD like it’s a smorgasbord… ‘eat’ the text we like and discard those that we don’t!
 
According to The Holy Writ, certain Promises are specifically-reserved for those who are walking daily in Christ with GOD!  “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3) 

God recognizes those who have been called to Him by their willingness to submit to His Will and whosoever chooses to obey His Word, receive The Promises!

May I submit for your consideration that everybody that’s in the church building ain’t necessarily in Christ?  #OHNOSHEDIDN’T…OHYESSHEDID!

Some people can be religious (or as the Millennials say, SPIRITUAL) but not in an intimate relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ! Many may believe that the Bible is the Word of God, yet they don’t believe that it’s talking to them! Others may believe that God has power, however don’t essentially believe that God has the Power to change their lives!

Unfortunately, all of the blame is not on the people but must be shared by those in leadership in churches that have watered-down the Living Word in order to fill the pews, appease the congregation and appear more palatable to the world!  #ijs…Seriously?

I know, with so many opinions being perpetuated into our spirits from various medias, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to sift thru the fake news in an effort to decipher Truth from the fictitious, fabricated to manipulate the unsuspecting for personal gain! Hence, it behooves the true seekers to let every man be a liar and GOD BE THE TRUTH!

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Seasons change, opinions change, customs change, methods change BUT God’s Message will never change!

The Bible, aka The Eternal Word of God, plainly declares and decrees — If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

While the New Millennium church is reaching forward and pressing on to get wherever we’re going, please don’t lose Jesus!  Remember, it doesn’t matter how high we go in this life, we’ll never get above GOD. #Didjaheardat?

For He knows them that are His!  JUS KEEP’N IT 100!
