SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Good Morning Family, once again, we’re excited to invite you to join us today in our Corporate Day of Fasting and Prayer between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We know that there’s much to place before The Throne of Mercy and Grace personally and on behalf of our loved one, friends and this world in which we live. As them ol’ skool saints used to say, “those who know the word and worth of prayer”, let’s us pray believing that God hears and answers according to the Power that works within us!

 

We love You Lord, and we lift our voice, to worship You! Oh my soul,  rejoice! Take Joy my King, in what You Hear and let it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your Ear!  Shall we pray?

 
Dear Heavenly Fathers,  we come together now thanking you for this day! For this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless You Lord Jesus for making a Way for us to approach The Throne of Mercy with a holy boldness and confidence that You sit on The Right Side of The God Who Is, Was, and Shall Eternally Be The One True God, Creator of Everything interceding for us as The Great High Priest!

Abba Father, we come this morning thanking you for the honor and privilege that you have bestowed upon us by choosing us to be your very own children! We thank you for being The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We pray for forgiveness, renewed strength, wisdom, understanding and power to walk every day in a manner that pleases and exemplifies How Great You Are!

Lord Jesus, as You already know, there’s so much going on in our world today that is vexing the very souls of Your people, yet we’re so grateful that our hope is fixed as our hearts are rooted in Truth that You are yet  in control of ALL THINGS! We acknowlege that but for Your Grace and Mercy, our lives could’ve been cut short, due to the wickedness that’s running rampant in our world. Father, we’re very thankful that even in days of impending chaos and destruction, the safest place in this whole world in in YOUR PERFECT WILL! 

Precious Lord, we pray that you save the lost, and reclaim every back-slider; Father, put a committed yes in their heart and in their mind that they will come to you and receive you as their Lord and Savior. Bless them now, place them and settle them into a church home today that they may be love, and instructed in Your Perfect Plan for their lives.

Lord, we lift up before you every one who is going thru a season of grief because of the lost of a loved one, those who have been victimized by divorce, lost of employment, bankrupty and foreclosures! We plead the Blood of Jesus over the demonic thoughts, spirits of infirmities, afflictions, fear, anxiety, oppression, depression, drug and alcohol addictions and confusion, because we know that You are not the author of any of these, but You have given us who have put our personal trust in Your Son Jesus, Your Righteousness, Love and Joy in The Holy Ghost! We lift up every believer who is yet holding on to your Hand by faith today that you will release a double anointing of Your Divine Peace, Power, Supernatural strength, health, wholeness, provision, prosperity and protection. We rebuke the spirit of poverty in spirit, soul and body of everyone who’s covered under The Blood of Jesus Christ!

Lord, we pray also Father, that you will preveserve them thru the every test that You have allowed us to go thru confidently assure that You will bring us out restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in your Word. Encourage us and empower us with an overwhelming consciousness of Your Abiding Presence! We ask that The Prince of Peace fill our hearts and our homes with peace, love, and joy! We ask believing for immediate debt release, trusting that all their financial needs are met, and they have more than enough to be a blessing to others.

Father, we pray for every eye that reads and says this Prayer come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation that is greater than God, for God is greater than all, God is greater in all, God is greater through all, and God is greater upon all. For You God, are the Most High God Almighty of all the Universes is truly the Greatest of All.

Lord, we pray as you have commanded in Your Holy Word, for all our enemies, and those who have used and abused us, and have lifted up their hands and their tongue against us. By faith, we now forgive them for all they have done. In Jesus Name, for I am a Child of God.
Father, we are so grateful that as we continue to walk closely with You, we understand that every battle that we have ever encountered in our lives is always in the control of Your Loving hands, for You, O have Sovereignly Ordained everything to work together for our highest good and Your Greater Glory!
Once again, Father our hearts are burdened to pray for every one who has for whatever reason walked away from you shall be provoked by the anointing that is on our prayer, to come back to you today and that you will put a new ‘YES LORD’ in their hearts and a willful obedience in their spirit to live the rest of their lives faithful and committed to Your WILL (WORD) and WAYS!

Abba Father, in the midst of the elections that are going on in our nation, we’re trusting you to incite Your people to fast and pray for wisdom, courage and confidence that whoever is nominated for whatever position, their hearts and lives are in Your Hands! Give us the assurance that nothing happens except You ALLOW! We’re thankful that You taught us to pray for our leaders in every area of our society, knowing that while we soujourn in the earth, our true citizenship is in Heaven. Therefore, let THY KINGDOM COME AND THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!

Father God we ask that anyone reading this prayer, wondering why they even find themselves reading it, will bow their hearts toward You now, confessing their need for you in their lives, acknowledging your Amazing Love towards them, in appreciation will invite The Lord Jesus Christ to ‘come into my life and change my heart now! Thank You Father that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord, my Savior, and my King, and confess this day and every day that I am highly FAVORED by God and man! ‘

Lord, we pray, that these words be believed, received and accepted into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every tongue that confesses them in The Name of Jesus Christ.

We pray trusting, believing, receiving and accepting God’s miracles into our lives and into the lives of our families and friends, this day and every day, for God’s Divine favor is now our heritage, in Jesus Name. Amen 3x! It is done! Alleluia!

 Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteous that the Lord your God is giving you this good land, for you are a stiff-necked people. Deuteronomy 9:6

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; Philippians 3:9-10
 

Are you proud of yourself! Come on now; how many of us have, consciously or unconsciously, given ourselves a slight pat on the back or an inward nod because we did something better or knew more about something  that no one else in our sphere of influence knew?  Exactly!  Of course I’m not suggesting that we venture off to the other end of the spectrum and fall into self-debasement or self-loathing.  I’m simply noting how easily the line between arrogance and self esteem can become blurred!
 
Taking pride in our successful accomplishments has its place in our lives.  However when we over-compensate ourselves for what we’ve managed to attain to the point that we levitate through life as if our ‘performance’ gives us an edge above everyone else,  WATCHOUT! You’re  headed down a slippery ledge to destruction! (Ref. Proverb 16:18)  
 
Sometimes even Christians find themselves ominously near the vicinity of Pharisee Blvd and Straight Street, when it comes to Righteousness. (Ref. Matthew 5:20)  When our righteousness is based on our performance, we’ve missed it by miles! If we’re relying upon our good works to qualify us for a automatic ticket to Heaven, boy are we ever deceiving ourselves! When we equate our holiness according to the world’s standards, we’re sho nuff trippin’!  So what hope do we have of reaching the lofty Pentacle of Acceptability to GOD?
 
Have I got some good news for you! There is a way to receive God’s Righteousness and it doesn’t involve anything that YOU can do on your own.  It’s called Grace! Grace is God’s free Gift to us, something that we could never earn or merit—a right-standing with a Holy God!
 
God’s Righteousness is based solely upon personal acceptance, through faith in the finished works of Christ Jesus!  The scripture says, ‘For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
 
There is a well-spring of exhilarating freedom in just taking God at His Word; knowing that you ain’t right, BUT…JESUS IS!

You have trusted in your wickedness and have said, ‘No one sees me. Your widom and knowledge mislead you when you say to yourself “I am, and there is none beside me.’ Isaiah 47:10
I still remember, as a child being ushered from my classroom, thru the halls and down to the basement to the make-shift -fall-out-shelters. Despite of that lingering black cloud of fear looming over the atmosphere, most of the time folk went about doing life as usual. We hardly ever thought about the fact that there was a ‘cold war’ going on between our country and the Russians. That is, until the alarms went off alerting us to proceed immediately to the designated Bomb-Shelters! The thing is, we never knew whether it was just another drill or had the OTHER shoe finally dropped.

Like today, there’s a war going on all around us and a whole lotta folk are clueless to what’s unfolding right before our very eyes! Truthfully, most of this 21st Century New Millinieum High-Teckies are so entrenched in staying abreast of what’s trending, obsessed with pursuing personal power and pleasure and lounging in their own security, oblivious to anyone or anything that does not coincide with their self-god-centered lifestyles! That is, until the roof is blown off of their homes!

Didjaknow? There are people among us who wouldn’t think of leaving home without first seeking the advice (magic spells) of their private socerer, astrologist and stargazers to make sure they’re equipped to sucessfully navigate through their day! Oh Yeah! There’s no shortage of kindred-spirited demons who will gladly validate your personal preferences, as long as you can afford to pay them! Unfortunately, those who seek such are generally much too sophisticated to acknowledge the foolishness of relying upon pet idols who are absolutely powerless to deliver themselves from what shall come upon them from the Almighty Hand of The True and Living God! Whatever happened to dat 1-800 Dial-a-Demon lady? #ijwondering, yall!

According to the Holy Writ, Hell is enlarging herself daily to accommodate those unsuspecting idolotrist slain at the hand of satanic snipers! And they never knew that they’d volunteered to join forces with so many others who reject even the remote possibility of an alternative-lifestyle, other than their own sin-induced-self-centered-flesh-rewarding reality! WOW!

As citizens of The Kingdom of Heaven, we’ve been charged to stand boldly, sound the alarm and shout with Joy, whether they accuse you of being a hater or not… ‘LEAVE BABYLON, FLEE FROM THE BABYLONIANS! (Isaiah 48:20) JESUS IS SOON TO COME! That’s what LOVE does.

Don’t be scarred to let folk know that there is a more EXCELLENT WAY! TELL ‘EM! It’s available to anyone who will accept God’s Grace Gift of SALVATION by simply  placing your personal trust and faith in JESUS ALONE!

UR 2 SMART 4 DAT!  Y go to Hell when JESUS HAS ALREADY PAID THE BILL IN FULL! TAKE THE DEAL WHILE IT’S STILL ON THE TABLE! CHOOSE THE ALTERNATIVE…ETERNAL LIFE!

I NEED A DRINK

 

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14
They taught us in the ol’ church, first the physical then the spiritual! Most of us know that water is essential to our survival. Experts tell us that we can live without food a whole lot longer than we can live without water. As one who struggles to get near the recommended amount of water ingested daily, my 60 sumptin body quickly sounds the alarm, ‘you’re thirsty, fool! Drink some water’. Likewise, my spirit man has a innate personal service announcement alert system that lets me know that your soul is thirsting for The Living Water—JESUS!

Life has a way of siphoning out the wellspring of  joy, strength, hope, calm, favor, peace and sheer delight of being a Child of The Eternal Father. We can become so distracted by the happenings of daily duties, drama and disappointments, that the benefits of our new Life in Christ takes a backseat, to the stress, chaos, depression, mumuring and complaining.

Like the Samaritan woman, many of us we come to Jesus believing that will make life easier not understanding that Christ doesn’t promise us a life gliding into Glory on a flowery bed of ease, but the power to overcome life’s challenges by trusting in His Faithfulness! As you learn to walk with Jesus, knowing that Christ (your personal Savior and Lord) lives in you, changes you, empowers and enables you to live in continual, hopefilled-joy…REGARDLESS OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES! #WOW #Didjaheardat? 

However, this is not a one-and-done-once-a-week-only transition! The Apostle Paul, a faithful companion, sheds insight as to how we can keep the stream of living water ever-flowing in the midst of  the drought, famine, confusion and persecution that often encompasses us on this journey. “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” Ephesians 5:19

Saywhaaa? ‘Lady, you obviously don’t understand what I’m going through!’ Perhaps not, BUT GOD DOES! And not only does He know every detail but He’s the Only One who can solve every problem and bring you out better than you were coming in! The Ol’ Skool Mothers said it like this, “Baby, keep a song in your heart and a praise in your mouth, bcuz you’re gonna need it!”

Didjakno how doing this confuses hell? Imagine Satan’s hounds scratching their heads, having dealt that last blow, thinking that would surely make you turn away from trusting Jesus! Ha! Ha! But instead, as you remind yourself of how good God’s been to you, it awakens a fresh view of God!

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2

Beloved, when you’re tempted to fall head-first into the pit of hopelessness and accept the devil’s invitation to your own private pity party, just remember, HOW GREAT IS YOUR GOD! He forgives all of your sins, heals all your diseases, redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion; satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. (Ref. Psalm 103:3-5) And suddenly, your well swells up and fear turns to trust, dispair gives way to hope, grumbling erupts into gratitude and your soul gets intoxicated on praise for all the blessings that God’s Grace avails! 

Aaaawwww shucks, SOUNDS LIKE YOU’RE PRIMING THE PUMP, huh? ITZ ALL GOOD! GOD’S RESERVED AN UNLIMITED SUPPLY SO, GO HEAD..DRINK UP!

Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God, GOTTA MOMENT? AWESOME!

Once again, we’re excited to have you join us today in our Weekly Day of Corporate Prayer and Fasting between the hours of 6:00 am. – 3:00 p.m. We’re  living in the midst of trying times, and as our Savior instructed His disciples, these kind come out by nothing BUT PRAYER & FASTING! I am beseeching every believer who yet believes that the prayers of the righteous availeth much to entreat The Great High Priest, trusting that revival and deliverance will come to our Nation, America, quickly!

Welcome Holy Spirit! We are in Your Presence! Fill us with Your Power; come live in side of Us! You’re our Living Water; never ending Fountain! Comforter and Counselor, TAKE COMPLETE CONTROL AS WE  PRAY…

Abba Father, we come before You today, In the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, rejoicing, praising and thanking You for blessing us to see a brand new day. We thank You, Father for another opportunity to embrace and enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Father, we come now thanking You for the blessed honor and privilege that You have given us when You determined to choose us to be Your very own children! Now we can confess with delight and joy that You are The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We’re eternally grateful that because You know our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion yet allows You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to all of our need!

Jesus, we ask that as You search our hearts, please forgive us for every word we’ve spoken, thought, every action, reaction that we’ve done or failed to do that was in violation against Your Holy Word. We pray that Your cleansing Blood will wash away every sin and cast them into the sea of forgetfulness now, in Jesus Name! Amen 3x

We magnify You Lord, from a heart open to, depending and relying only on You, for renewed Strength, Wisdom, Understanding and Power. We recognize that no man can come to the Father except You draw them, therefore Father we ask that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind that you draw and save the lost, put a spirit of Godly-repentance to say “YES” in their heart and in their mind that they will come today and receive You as their personal Lord and Savior! Direct their footsteps, and place and settle them into Your ordained church home today.

Abba Father, we ask You RESTORE the “YES” in the heart and mind of every backslider and allow today to be the day that they come back to You and come back to YOUR church fully committed by The Grace of The Holy Spirit, to live out the rest of this life Holy, proving what is good, acceptable and perfect unto You.

Father, as we’re praying, we’re believing that as You touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and every disease, especially the spirit of cancer, heart, kidney failure, lung diseas, arthiritis, drug addictions, high blood/low blood, deafness, blindness is being rebuked and cast out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, your Word declares that your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, as You well know, today we live in a world where the very elect are being constantly bombarded, intimadated, threatened and persecuted by a god-hating rebellious society of people, we also acknowledge that the Earth which You have created is wrestling to escape the corruption of a sinful nature therefore, we humbly lift up before Your Throne, every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine Power, Supernatural Strength, Consolation, Health, Provision, Prosperity, Protection and Peace!

We ask also Daddy, that You will preserve us thru the tests that we must go thru and keep us constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE; fully-confident that You will bring us out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised us in Your Word!

Father we lift up our spiritual leaders, asking a special blessing upon each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit. We pray that You Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love, trust wholly in and to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

We ask Heavenly Father, that you will stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name so that they will have a desire to increase their personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Lord, we pray that every demonic-induced spirit of temptation, addiction and fear be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness be released now, in Jesus Name!

Father, we now wait in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that every single worker of iniquity is trembling and departing suddenly in shame, turning their backs away from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, we thank You, honor and praise You now, for we know that it is done! In The Exalted, Majestic Name of our King Jesus. Amen 3x AND IT IS SO!!

Jesus replied,“The time is coming, ma’am, when we will no longer be concerned about whether to worship the Father here or in Jerusalem. For it’s not where we worship that counts, but how we worship—is our worship spiritual and real? Do we have the Holy Spirit’s help? For God is Spirit, and we must have his help to worship as we should. The Father wants this kind of worship from us. But you Samaritans know so little about him, worshiping blindly, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes to the world through the Jews.” John 4:21-24 TLB

 

Unless you were born late last night or just landed on planet earth early this morning, you gotta recognize that this whole world has gone crazy! I don’t care who you are, where you live, how many tongues you speak in, you’ve gotta admit that stuff is going down around us today that Mama and Daddy ‘nem never could’ve imagined. We’re living in desperate times, huh?

You don’t have to be a bible scholar or seminary theologian, or even have the Holy Ghost to be able to discern the signs of the times. We are living in the last of the last days. And Jesus is soon to come. Amen 3x? #DON’T SHOUT ME DOWN!

Let me assure you, it matters not whether you’re young or old, everybody needs to know Jesus for themselves. It’s getting darker out here, and there’s no guarantee that you got all that time you think you have to get yourself together. But while you have today, we need to stop blaming or comparing ourselves with everybody else and figure out how to work out our own soul salvation! None of us should allow what nobody else is doing to distract us and make us miss Jesus, huh?

It doesn’t matter who’s in the White House, Senate, Congress, Court House, Jail House, Out House or who falls off the financial cliff, YOU need to be very sure that this world is not your Source of provision, comfort, joy and certainly not your peace! Them ol’ skool Mothers sanng, “My Hope is built on nothing less, but Jesus Blood and His Righteousness, I dare not trust the sweet frame, but wholly lean on JESUS NAME”!

Beloved, time is spirialing into eternity at the speed of LIFE! Hence, recess is over and time’s out for fakin’ it till you make it! We no longer have the luxury of procrastinating! You’ve gotta get off the proverbial fence and make a decision. Either you’re going to walk by faith or allow the cares of this lost and dying world to slamm, trample and sift your joy, strength and hope for better days to come. If the only hope you have is in this world, you’re destined to live a most miserable life!

Saints, God has a better plan for His children. “I come that you might have life and that more abundantly” (Ref. John 10:10) Yet,  contrary to New Age Gospel-Lite doctine, God’s Promises are conditional! As the CEO of your destiny, The Word of God must take priority over everything! Therefore, it’s not enough to hear the Word, you must believe it to the point that you live it; i.e by walking it out in your everyday life!

Stop allowing your intellect to compromise your faith in what God can do. This ain’t the first time, the odds have been stacked against you. Remember, what you see is only temporary, but the Word of God stands forever, eternally established and secure!

Precious one, worship God out of a spirit of faithful obedience. Encourage yourself, giving praise and Glorraaa to your God Who is Faithful and Powerful enough to keep every promise that He’s ever made.  Don’t stop til u getit, GETIT! #WALK IT OUT!

ITZ THE GOODNESS OF GOD

And thinkest thou this O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgement of God? Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness, and forebearance and long-suffering; not kowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? Romans 2:3-4
A while ago, I heard a preacher confessing  that at one time he was an avid believer and willing partaker of one of the greatest lies that Satan has perpetrated. As he went on to talk about his early perception of God, I began reflecting back on the B.C. (Before Christ) in my own life, I humbly concluded, “You ain’t by yourself preacha!” If we would be honest, for real, a whole lot of us would have to raise our hands and say Amen 3X, Preacha!

How many of you once believed that somewhere, way out there, there was a Great Big Ol’ Angry God, watching and recording every single thing you did? And when you had accumulated that mystical, unknown number of sins, His Hand of Wrath would suddenly appear from heaven, striking you down with a big sledge hammer, crush you and fling your po’ soul straight into the devil’s hell! Oh, don’t play me like you never…

Perhaps you were with that other group—the self-righteous who ascribe to the lie that when they get themselves together, they fully intend to start going to church and but they’re not going to be no hypocrite, like all them other folk. They’re gonna be real about serving God!  And we all know how that’s gonna turn out, huh?

Just think about all those times He could’ve, should’ve, BUT didn’t serve you your just desserts. Remember all those unfulfilled promises you made (lies) just before He delivered you, again? How many times has God chosen to withhold justice and instead dispensed His Grace and Mercy towards us? WOW! Haven’t got a clue, huh? Neither do I!

Let’s be for real! You and I will never, ever be good enough to qualify as ‘acceptable’ to a Holy GOD—SO….get over you!  God already knew that we’d fall short numerous times.That’s why, before we were even formed in our mother’s womb, God’s plan of Salvation was already established!

Ephesians 2:8 declares, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”! Didjaheardat? God never left it up to us! Salvation is God’s free gift.

That’s the GOSPEL! It’s called GRACE and it’s still available to WHOSOEVER will  humble themselves before God, acknowledge themselves as sinners who have no other Hope for Salvation but JESUS and accept His Amazing Gracious Merciful Forgiveness! NOW THAT’S THE GOODNESS OF GOD!

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we vow to live our lives according to the testimony God reveals in The Holy Bible. As our knowledge of God’s Word increases, we discover how God has ordained certain rights, privileges and promises to us and for us.Yet, even as confessing Believers, sometimes we fall short when it comes to experiencing the fulfillment of God’s exceedingly great and precious promises. Now don’t shout me down, yall!

Consequently, our churches are filled with frustrated, anxious, angry and unsatisfied folk who’re secretly disappointed with God. Amen? For the record, let’s concede this, God’s not the problem! His faithfulness is not on trial! God’s Word is Eternally Immutable, Faithful and True. Am I right about it? So what’s up? We go to church and hear the gospel—well most of the time—anyway, preached with power and conviction. We enjoy the sermon, buy the CD’s and the DVD’s. We’ll leave the sanctuary talking about “Man, we had CHUURCH today”. But, where’s the fruit? Where’s the evidence? How has the message profited our lives? For real, where’s the change in our personal situations and even more important, what’s changed in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ?

The Bible warns us how Satan, comes immediately to steal the Word before we can reap the benefit. The devil persistently preys on our frustrations, anxieties and fears with one goal in mind, to cause us to distrust God. Can we go a little deeper? Ask a Saint who knows a little Bible and they’ll religiously proclaim that The Gospel has the ability and power to save and transform the lives of anyone who believes it. But—the Bible also says, “be ye doers of the word and not hearers only”. (James 1:22)

Therein lies the underlying issue! If nothing changes, then nothing changes! However, thru the completion of proper processing (a series of actions, motions, or occurrences intended to achieve a certain results), you get the right results!

According to Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” As followers of Christ, we know the Word is True, we must ultimately concur that the breakdown is not with the Word, but with the processing of the processor!

Mark 4, says, “the Sower sows the word” Hence, the preacher preaches the Word ; but, the harvest is determined by the condition of the soil. Wow! Didjaheardat? Sounds like The Word must be properly processed in order to produce the harvest! (Ref. Mark 4:15) How? By applying it to your everyday life through confession (speaking those things as though they were); meditating on the promises rather than your problems, meditating on who you are now in Christ Jesus, as opposed to who you were and acting on your convictions rather than impulse. (Ref. Romans 4:17)

It’s important to note, that The Advesary has been observing you from the moment you entered the earth realm. Hence, he knows just what buttons to push to get you to do what he wants you to do. Then he hides his hands, leaving you to deal with the guilt, shame and self-rejecting disappointment, causing you to exclude (thus disqualify) your ownself as an eligibile beneficiary for God’s Mercy and Grace!

Precious One, don’t let the devil intimdate you into allowing fear and frustration to cause you to abort your promise. Instead, embrace The penetrating Light of God’s Word to break up the hardness of your heart and be processed in the perfect ground of a yielded, trusting, believing rest-filled heart! 

BELOVED,  AS YOU DILIGENTLY WORK THE WORD, IT WILL WORK IN, FOR AND THROUGH YOU! TODAY, MAY YOU PURPOSE IN YOUR HEART TO REST IN THE FAITHFULNESS OF JESUS’ PROMISES, IN JESUS NAME! AMEN 3X #WORD PROCESSOR

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17

 

WOW! I know it’s been a while, nevertheless,  the movie “The Passion of Christ” starring Mel Gibson, still continues to amaze skeptics and awaken the consciousness of untold hundreds of thousands of people in and out of the church!

In just about 3-hours of an action packed, emotionally charged sequence of events, the movie attempts to depict the final days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Beginning with His Triumphant Entrance into The Holy City of Jerusalem on to His Betrayal, making His Way to Pilate’s judgment seat, up to His Sacrificial Death on Calvary’s Cross, thru His burial in Joseph of Arimathea’s borrowed tomb on route to His Victorious Resurrection and Glorious Ascension back to His Rightful Seat on The Throne in The Kingdom of His Father in Heaven. And we can’t even imagine  the view from Heaven’s perspective, huh?

Okay, I confess, while I too was noticeably touched by the animated shockingly detailed reality of what My Savior endured to redeem and restore my Eternal Life,  I am yet more perplexed by the persistent rippling effect that continues to invade my life even though it’s been several years since I sat silently sobbing in that theater.

And while it’s been several months since we’ve commemorated Resurrection Sunday,  I’m still reeling at the depth of Jesus’ compassion for a people who, for the most part, would ignorantly continue to reject The Grace that He so freely offers to us. (Ref. John 1:11)

I mean, when you just take the time to really think about it, it’s almost unbelievable, huh?  Seriously! What outrageous compassion our Lord displays as He walked the shores of Galilee healing all manner of sickness and disease! (Ref. Matthew 4:23)

What flamboyant compassion The Law Giver demonstrates when the woman caught in the act of adultery was thrown before Jesus by the teachers of the law and the Pharisees. (Ref. John 8:1-11)

What extravagant compassion The Servant exposes as He humbly kneels to wash His disciples feet, including Judas. (Ref. John 13:5)

What preposterous compassion The Suffering Savior manifests as He interrupts death on the Cross to assure and confirm the thief’s reservation in Paradise that day. (Ref. Luke 23:43) 

What excessive compassion lingers on as our Resurrected Lord and High Priest faithfully prays that The Father forgive us, and send The Promised Comforter and Keeper to us in this world. I know right…WHAT UNCONSCIONABLE COMPASSION?

Wow! And to think that Jesus trusts us to show that same exorbitant loving compassion to this lost and dying world. AWEMAAZING!

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me…And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Luke 18:1-5, 7

 

Do you ever feel like you’re annoying God? Hold on, don’t click me off. This question is not intended to condemn but to awaken your spirit to a liberating truth.

Some people think that if you repeatedly bring the same petitions or desires before The Lord, you run the risk of praying amiss. Apparently, based on the premise that by bringing it up again,  obviously you’re no longer operating in faith, but in doubt!

But, Jesus said that we should always pray! Truthfully, our Heavenly Father is ecstatically overjoyed when we come, as little children, boldly to the Throne of Grace and cast our cares upon Him. Hence, this lets God know that we’re yet trusting Him to respond to our prayers with Mercy and Grace.

Unlike the unjust judge, who responds out of annoyance, disgust and frustration, your Heavenly Father honors your faithful persistence with loving compassion. God is not intimidated by our persistent prayers. He knows that we’re simply acknowledging that He alone has the Power to bring to pass anything we ask of Him.  Ain’t dat amazing?

Don’t allow nothing or nobody to stop you from praying until you see God move in your situation. Because God empathizes with our feelings, He is never annoyed when we call out for His help.

Beloved, continue to trust Him to work His purpose through your situations knowing, even though it may tarry, the answer shall surely come! Don’t allow the pressures of your present situation to cause you to panic, but remain confident that at the  appointed time, He will speedily defend, protect and avenge the one whom He finds persistent in faithfulness!

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrew 11:6

ANNOY GOD? IT’S OKAY; YOUR BREAKTHROUGH IS IN YOUR PERSISTENCE!
