GOOD MORNING FAMILY! GOTTA MOMENT? Awesome! Once again, we are excited to invite you to join us today, in our weekly day of Corporate Prayer and Fasting! SHALL WE PRAY?

 
Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus And to take Him at His Word! Just to rest upon His promise. And to know thus saith the Lord! Jesus, Jesus how I trust Him. How I proved Him o’er and o’er. Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more; Oh, for GRACE 2 Trust U more…We love U Lord, and we lift our voice; to worship U O my soul, rejoice! Take joy my KING, in what U hear, and let it be a sweet, sweet, sound in UR ears…let it be a sweet, sweet sound in URRR Ears…

 
Heavenly Father, we come one more time, to thank you for allowing us to see this day! We  have so much to thank You for, and because we refuse to take anything for granted, we praise You for our being able to breathe, see, to hear, walk, talk and even think to pray this morning! We’re so blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. Not only have You have done so much for me,  You keep right on blessing me over and over again! Abba Father, forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to Your Heart. I ask now for Your forgiveness, in The Precious Name of Jesus!

As we embrace the day ahead,  help us to start this day with a new attitude and loads of gratitude. Please keep us safe from all hurt, harm and danger. Let us make the best of each moment that You gift to us! Lord Jesus, clear our minds so that we can hear from You and cleanse our hearts that we may deny ourselves, trust and obey Your Will.

Help me Lord to not whine and whimper over things I have no control. Let me continue to see sin through God’s eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, quicken my spirit to repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the Gracious forgiveness of my  God!

And when this world closes in on me, please help me remember Jesus’ example — to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. Knowing that prayer is my best response when I’m pushed beyond my limits. I thank You also because I know that when I can’t pray, You listen to my heart and interpret every moan, groan and sigh of my spirit! Father, I thank You that despite of my fractures and dysfunctions , You are yet able to use me to do Your will ensuring The You Alone get The Glory!

Abba Father, continue to bless us that we may be a blessing to others. Keep us strong that we may help the weak.. Keep us uplifted that we may have words of encouragement for others. We pray for those who are lost and can’t find their way. We pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. We pray for those who don’t know You intimately. We pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. We pray for those who don’t believe that You sent Jesus, not to condemn us, but to convict us and to free us from the power, pain and penalty of Sin.

When we look back over our lives, we can’t help but cry out, Thankya for that Blessed Day when You opened our hearts and enabled us to believe and receive the revelation of the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ! We know that You are no respector of persons, and this Grace is yet available to any who will ask!

Father, we know that faith in God not only changes people, it changes me; and only You, O God have the Power to change things! We pray for all our sisters and brothers and for every family member in their households. We’re praying for peace, unity, love and joy in our homes. We believing that Your Divine Favor is being poured out upon everyone now and their faith is rising to a level that they’re faithful and obedient to pay their tithes as You have commanded, releasing supernatural abundance in the area of finances, enabling them to not only come of of debt but also because they put You first, all their needs are met. In Jesus Name!

Father, we’re lifting up our children, our children’s children by faith, as many of them are beginning a new school year, we’re committing them into Your care, realizing that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too; we have the blessed assurance that their steps are being ordered by Your eyes!

We bless you and thank you for President Obama and his family, Secretary Hilliary Clinton and her family. We thank you now that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper.

We pray for every government, legislative,corporate and spiritual leader; that their hearts be continuously opened to hear and obey Your Will! Lord Jesus, we’re standing on Your Word as decreed that The government of this world shall rest upon Your shoulders and that You are The Eternal King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Father, we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of sickness and disease, yokes of oppression, addiction, perversion, covetness, bitterness and resentment, unforgiveness, hopelessness, doubt and fear is defeated NOW because of Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness and Purpose is being released into the lives of Your people now, in Jesus Name!

Father, we wait humbly in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that every worker of iniquity is trembling and departing suddenly, in shame, turning their backs in defeat and running away from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Heavenly Father, we also ask that every eye that reads this, knows that there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than Our God. Give us hope-filled rest that every battle is in Your Almigty hands for You are El Shaddai!

We pray, Lord Jesus, that these words be conceived and received into the heart and every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willfully.

Abba Father,  we seal this pray with a Thank You NOW, believing that IT IS DONE! In The Exalted Name of  OUR REDEEMER, JESUS. Amen 3X and It Is So!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL ONE SOMEBODY THAT JESUS IS LORD 2 THE GLORY OF GOD OUR FATHER!

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Proverbs 3:5-7

 
Dual Citizenship! Living in this world while at the same time recognizing that we’re aliens of another Kingdom, occupying this place in time as carriers of The Glory until the return of Jesus Christ, The King is absolutely-mind-blowingly-awemaazin, huh?

But! Sometimes, life comes at us so hard and so fast that we lose consciousness of the core of our faith—Truth—and find our hearts being ripped betwixt two realities. That confident heritage of the saints, is often disrupted by the intrusive presence of aggravating adverse circumstances!

Now, don’t get it twisted! I’m not saying that we forget we’ve been called and chosen by God to be instruments of righteousness at His bidding. Hopefully, most of us have long since gotten past that issue. We believe with all our hearts that one day we will live eternally in Heaven with our Father. But!!! It’s the meantime that keeps tripping us up! Our frail-flawed-fickle, self-centered-fleshy-nature keeps drawing us back to the ol’ days when we sat on The Throne of our hearts, making decisions and judgments according to what seemed right in our own minds! Can I getta Amen?

Remember when that ol’ man had nothing to restrain us from focusing all our time, thoughts and energy on getting whatever we wanted, whenever we thought we needed? We were clueless that we were actually being used by rulers of darkness, hell bent on pulling us away from The Omnipresence, Omniscience, Omnipotence Creator and driving us head first into a sink hole of fear, discouragement, hopelessness and failure!

YEP! We were oblivious to the enemy’s wicked scheme to entrap us; besieging our minds with his ticker-tape alerts forecasting the high probability of hurricane wind gusts, overcast skies of dread, gloom and doom! Unfortunately, for too many of us, Satan’s so competent with his devices that if we’re not careful, we will come into agreement with him, setting the course for fulfillment of the very thing we fear! Hence, when we surrender to our fears, we give validity to them, and worse yet, proving him (The Father of Lies) to be a true prophet!

That is until  Holy Spirit quickens us, reminding us that we’re no longer obligated or enslaved by our former Task Master! When we come to ourselves, purpose in our hearts, settling our affections on things above and acknowledge The Greater One abiding in us, we slam the devil down to his rightful place (under our feet)! Dontchakno? When YOU believe GOD, the tormentor has no choice but to back up off of ya!

When we activate the spiritual weaponry of warfare that God has armed every believer by commanding our minds to think of the Goodness of Jesus and all that He has done, continues to do and promises to do—the Joy of The Lord swells up in our hearts, illuminating our thoughts, erupting inevitable praise!Suddenly, The Glory of His Presence shows up filling our hearts and minds with a peace that passes all understanding! (Ref. 2 Corinthians 10:4 and Philippians 4:7)

Beloved, the next time that lying devil tries to steal your hope, jus throw THE ROCK at him and JUST THINK YOURSELF HAPPY WITH PRAISE!

“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:3! Then pick up another rock and seal the victory! “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11)

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22

There’s  a theme out there that an athletic company promoted, I know you’ve probably heard it…. JUST DO IT! Well can I share my spin on this whole thing. DROP IT! #GETIT? WELL,  JUS DO IT!

Okay, let me brake it down for you! Instead of rehearsing the dilemma over and over and over in your mind, replaying every scene, every detail, every ounce of pain, inch of failure, every second of disappointment, the depth of the hopelessness – Just Drop It!  Back-off from it. Make the decision, once and for all, I AM THROUGH WITH THIS – RIGHT NOW!  From this moment on, I am going to lean and depend on God to take care of this. 

I hearya! I’ve tried that! It’s easier said than done! I totally get it. But may I offer a suggestion for your consideration? Stop trying to do it yourself!  This might seem to be a strange concept, in a world that teaches independence, self-reliance, pull yourself up by your bootstraps!  But Saints of God, we must remember, first of all, we are in this world but not of it.  The Kingdom of God operates on principles and precepts that are diametrically antithetical to the world’s perspective! The WORD teaches us that God resists the proud but gives grace, strength and help to the humble. (Ref. James 4:6)  Hence, GOD never intended those who’ve turned the reins of their lives over to Jesus, trusting in His Saving Grace, to do life on our own! He sent us help, y’all! The Holy Ghost!  #TILT!!!!
 
Now, I already hear some you thinking, asking, but how? Here’s how!  Ignore it, show a lack of concern for that thing that the enemy is constantly using to torment you!  By acknowledging the Truth –because God cares for you, He’s watching over you and He knows exactly how to bring justice (all things working together for your highest good) into your life. (Ref. Romans 8:28)
 
Next, renew your mind!  Don’t take those negative thoughts, in other words–CONSIDER NOT ! ‘But, but…but how do I do this? ‘ It’s a lot simpler than you might think.  Just try it, think about a cat….see it…now think about a dog….what happened to the cat? 
 
Just think about something else!  Replace that negative thought with a positive one.  Think (set your thoughts, focus on something good, lovely, pure, honest, true, some thing that’s promised in the Word)! (Ref. Philippians 4:8)

Saints, when you intentionally apply GOD’S WORD to your life, it puts Satan in his rightful place! Under your feet! The Word of God tells the devil, “Ooooh H#### No!  It didn’t work the last time, devil and guess what? IT AIN’T GONNA WORK THIS TIME EITHER!” 

Got it? C’mon nah! Now, you pick it up! “AND… OH, BY THE WAY, GO TELL THE REST OF YOUR COHERTS THAT U R STILL A LIAR AND A THIEF! OBVIOUSLY YOU’VE FORGOTTEN. I DON’T BELONG 2 U ANYMORE,  REMEMBER! I BELONG 2 JESUS! THEREFORE, I’VE BEEN ANOINTED, AUTHORIZED AND APPOINTED BY THE LIVING WORD OF GOD TO RESIST YOU; THEREFORE I REFUSE TO ACCEPT YOUR NEGATIVE REPORTS!  AND GUESS WHAT? IF U KNOW WHAT’S GOOD 4 U, U’D GET OUTTA MY WAY! CUZ, I AIN’T FIX’IN 2 DO THAT THING U SAID I COULDN’T, I’M DOING IT!”

GREAT JOB!
 
Now, stop talking about it, stop picking the wound! LET IT GO!  VICTORY IS WAITING 4 U! Didjaheardat? Wel?, Jus do it…DROP IT!  #BOOM!!!!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.  Jude 1:3

This probably won’t come as a newsflash, except to those who might’ve just landed on planet earth about an hour ago, OK? But here goes, we’re living in times that could potentially affect, even the very elect of God, with a highly-contagious disease! Left untreated the symptoms  have quickly escalated into a spiritually infectuous organism transmitting deadly viral weariness, discouragement, grief and hopelessness of pandemic proportions!!  Seriously! It’s as if the world, as we’ve known it, is spinning out of control around us and we’re being tossed, driven and engulfed by the undercurrents of Life!

As Saints of The Most High God, we’re subconsciously aware that long ago God’s Prophets predicted perilous times would come. However, now we’re experiencing in real-time God’s Revelation actually being fulfilled right before our eyes. For many of us, even with our eyes wide open and prayerfully watching, we yet have to admit, we never could’ve imagined days like this, right?

Satan, has strategically launched a full battery of assaults against the people of God and many of us are falling by the wayside, becoming casualties of war, not knowing ‘who’ our real enemy is!  It’s imperative that we recognize that when we surrendered our lives to Jesus, immediately were enlisted into The Lord’s Army and the world became a battlefield! Therefore, we must be on constant alert that our engagement is not against flesh and blood, but this war is against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this age and spiritual wickedness in high places who can’t be overcome by mere human strength (Ref. Ephesians 6:16).

While The Bible never promised us a gala-trouble-free life in this present world, God has given us Divine Assurance that we’re never alone. Hence, in the midst of intimidating chaos, drama and intense warfare, we stand fully persuaded that God is our refuge, strength, an ever-present Help, encouraging and enabling us to yet fight on. (Ref. Psalm 46:1).

We must also understand that God, The Captain and Commander of the Universe, has not deserted us leaving us defenseless, but has set us up with spiritual weaponry fully capable of not only infiltrating but completely annihilating the Devil’s camp and pulling down every stronghold that the enemy has forged against the children of God—THE WORD OF GOD!

You must realize that the Devil’s worst nightmare is coming up against an authentic born-again, sanctified, Holy-Ghost filled, confident, completely armored bona fide Believer! In the hands of a bold, fearlessly courageous True Believer, The Sword of The Spirit guarantees triumphant victory every time! (Ref. 2 Corinthans 10:4; Hebrews 4:12)

Despite the atrociousness or enormity of our personal tests or trials, Abba Father has decreed and declared that NO WEAPON formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, your VERY lifestyle of holiness and righteousness shall condemn any demonic-induced situation or circumstance that dares to confront or attempt to hinder you! (Ref. Isaiah 54:17) Didjaheardat? That’s the gospel TRUTH!

Beloved, we’re not of those who will tuck-tail and run; but we press on celebrating the same God who delivered you out of Egyptian bondage, is well able to keep you standing strong to the end!  Trust2Know, Your Majestic Eternal King JESUS always honors and rewards faithfulness with contentment, happiness and Godly peace! 

Your orders from headquaters are as follows, “Gird up the loins of your mind, you defenders of The Cross! Fall in to proper formation; pick up your weapons and stand steadfast, immovable, and ready to contend for the faith that was entrusted to you when you first believed! LO, I COME QUICKLY! RAZE HELL!” #OCCUPY UNTIL I COME!

Abba Father, we come before You today, In the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, rejoicing, praising and thanking You for blessing us to see a brand new day.We thank You, Father for one more opportunity to seek Your Face, that we may embrace and enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Daddy, we thank You for being The ONLY GOD of Salvation, Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision! We’re thankful that because, knowing our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion yet allows You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to all of our need! Therefore receive our praise to You today, coming from hearts humbly opened to, depending and relying solely upon You for renewed strength, wisdom, understanding and power!

Because no man can come to the Father except You draw them, we intercede on behalf of our families, friends and every unsaved soul, trusting You to quicken the Spirit of Godly-repentance in their hearts and minds that they will come to you today saying “YES” to your Gift of Grace and receive You as their personal Lord and Savior!

Heavenly Father, as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of every man, reclaim every back-slider, put a “COMMITED YES” in their heart and mind, direct their footsteps, placing and settling them into a church home today where they may be nurtured, encouraged and strengthen in YOUR WORD, WILL AND WAY!

Father, we’re believing that as we pray, You’re touching our brothers, our sisters whose body has been afflicted by all manner of sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, and rebuking and casting every trace of it out at the root, for Your Name Sake! For Your Word declares that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us from every malady and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, we’re so grateful knowing that in times like these, we are able to yet find rest, hope, courage and PEACE knowing that while we’re yet IN this world, we’re citizens of AN ETERNAL KINGDOM, not made by man’s hand! We bless YOU, our King, WHO RULES & REIGNS OVER THE AFFAIRS of all ages!

Lord, we standing in proxy for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You shall release Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection. Father, we’re trusting that You shall preserve them thru every tests that they go thru, keeping them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word. Amen 3x

Father, we thanking You for an outpouring of Divine Favor upon each and every one of your children who are seeking employment, promotion, prompt approval for student/car/home loans and asking You to assure them that YOU are YET Jehovah Jareh, who shall supply all of their need according to Your Riches in Glory!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

Remember that ol’ skool gospel song, “You can’t hurry God, you just have to wait”? Or was that the The Supreme’s “You can’t hurry Love, you just gotta wait”? Either way, most of us don’t wait on either well, huh?

The truth is, sinner or saint, waiting is a reality of life! Since birth, we instinctively incline our will to surrender to the passionate urges of self without the restraint of inconvenient annoying discipline codes of morality. Our flesh could care less! Flesh demands what it wants, when it wants, and as often as it wants. Unfortunately, for many of us that’s not usually a problem, except when your spirit man has been quickened by The Holy Spirit who takes over, regenerating our desires and orchestrating our steps to align with The Righteousness of God! That’s when the struggle begins!

The New Birth conversion,  that everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their life experiences, forces us to not only take a look at ourselves in a way we never could or would before but now we are exposed to The Eternal Supreme Source of Life and Light, The Maker of Heaven and Earth, Infinite Wisdom, Goodness, Mercy, Love and Grace!

Once our eyes and our hearts have been opened to TRUTH, and we remorsefully acknowledge our sin, guilt and shame, The Faithful Love of our newly discovered Shepherd entices us to begin the transformation process. This entails re-prioritizing our needs, desires, actions and even our thoughts! Inevitably, as we become acutely aware of the fact that naturally, this is virtually impossible, we desperately cry out, humbly appealing to God’s Grace and Mercy instead of relying on our own merits!  But by the Grace of God, The Holy Spirit empowers us to do those things that are holy, acceptable, and pleasing to our Heavenly Father.

Amazingly, as we walk in The Light of God’s Countenance, no longer depending on our own understanding, His Word reveals unimaginable blessings! Surprisingly, we find ourselves endowed with joy unspeakable, peace that passes all understanding and the manifestation of ways out of no ways. The Favor of God opens doors that were previously locked, and shuts doors that left you vulnerable to Satan’s evil deceptions and plots intended to detour, derail and ultimately destroy the Glorious destiny that God has ordained for our lives, before the foundation of this world!

Every good and perfect gift that your heart desires and more is awaiting anyone who determines to keep the main thing, the main thing! Jesus First, right? OH YEAH…DIVINE DESIGN!

I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me…He brought me out into a spacious place, he rescued me because he delighted in me. Psalm 18:16-17, 19
Looking around, God’s elect find ourselves confronting by circumstances that challenge the very foundation of our trust! We’re seeing things that were once unimaginable realized right before our very eyes! Our hearts are overwhelmed by the swiftness of the degradation of the core of humanity’s morality! While wisdom is largely rejected and Shame is nearly extinct, Arrogance has become the new order of the day! Thereby allowing men to do what is right in his own mind! Truthfully, many seasoned-saints are secretly fainting, wearied in well-doing and longing for the Promised Rapture!

Rarely do you find the sacred sounds flowing from the sanctuaries on Sunday mornings, noon day prayer meetings and Friday nites where the people of God once gathered to call on The Name that’s above every name before erupting in exuberant praises celebrating real deliverances wrought by The Faithful Hand of The Lord! The induction of the more sophisticated-politically-correct-con temporal-relevant- reformations of Millenniums have subrocated many of the ol’ skool teachings, songs and hymns to backroom storage in dusty piano benches in order to make the message more palatable to the masses! #ijs

Unfortunately, there are some troubles, tests and trials that you can’t STOMP yourself out of or BOUNCE your way thru! Time is hurling into Eternity at the speed of life and 45 seconds of the nitely news affirms that we’re living in the last of the last days! As the institutions of men are being shaken by sporadic turbulent waves of the wisdom of this age, it’s incumbent upon each of us to be very sure that we’re anchored in The Solid Rock!

As the ol’ Mothers used to sanng, ‘In times like this, U Need a Savior, in times like this, U need an Anchor! Thanks Be 2 God, there’s yet a remnant of believers who are crying out, “Lead Me to The Rock that’s higher than I’! As satanic fiery darts continue to spread globally, consuming dreams, diminishing aspirations and devastating families, we must earnestly bend our knees and bow our hearts Heaven-ward, seeking refuge in the secret place of The Most High God!

For in the time of trouble, we hide behind The Shield of our very Present Help who faithfully rescues those who delight in His Truth!  Driven by The Eternal Hope, our souls rest assured in quietness, peace and joy, awaiting the The Horn of our Salvation, courageously-confident that God’s Power is Incomparable, His Love is Inseparable and His Provision and Protection are Infinite!

Beloved, whenever life’s maladies leave you too weak to stand on your own, chances are you’re right where God wants you. Positioned for breakthrough! Remember, God never intended you to do life independent of Him, that’s why He sent Holy Spirit! Sshhhhh! Didjaheardat? #LEANONME!

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15

 

In The 3rd Chapter of The Book of Ecclesiastics The Preacher, Solomon, offers his observations on the purpose of times and seasons that God appoints throughout our journey in an attempt to answer the age old question of humanity, “Why am I here?” Looking back I recognize that my time on Terra Firma continues to swiftly transition through certain uncertainties, predictable resistance and uncommon clarity, leaving me totally dependent upon my Creator!

The Holy Writ alerts us to the inevitable reality that there is a Devil on the loose who has made it his mission to steal, kill and destroy the peace, comfort, joy and hope of everyone who has been created in the image of God.  Hence, beloved, there’s a war going on! Therefore we should expect to be tempted by tests, trials, trouble and tragedy! However, along with this ominous warning, our Heavenly Father also gives us His Eternal Assurance, “And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

Unfortunately, most of our attacks come from unseen forces! Satan has become quite proficient in throwing rocks and hiding his hands. Then he sits back relishing the chaos, confusion, havoc and vengence that we wreak upon one another. Notwithstanding, God has equipped those with a discerning spirit, with weapons that are not carnal, but mighty through God, enabling us to triumphantly invade and eradicate the forces of evil every time! (Ref. 2 Corinthians 10:4; Romans 8:37)

Just knowing that we’re encompassed about by enemy forces is not always enough, you gotta know when to hold ’em, and when to fold ’em, huh? In order to be successful in your conquest, it is vital that you remain strategically positioned to hear the instructions of The Captain of The Lord’s Host. Truth be told, while God teaches our hands to war, some battles are not meant for us to fight! #Seriously!

Just like King Jehoshaphat, when challenged by demonic intimidation, we must resist the temptation to bow down to our fears, taking matters into our own hands; but immediately turn our face toward our Master in fervent prayer and worship! By making prayer your daily regiment, we build up our most holy faith. When the enemy comes upon us suddenly, instead of retreating to imminent failure and surrendering to hopelessness and despair, we automatically release our faith in the Trustworthiness of The Power and Promises of God!

When we seek God first, we gain supernatural strength and courage to boldly withstand and confront any opposition. Armed with unwavering holy confidence that God is with you and is always in absolute control over everything, we march towards adversity, knowing God will turn it around in our favor and make it work together for your good and His Greatest Glory! (Ref. Romans 8:28)

Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 2 Chronicles 20:20

Didjaheardat? It jus confuses Hell, when you really believe God! LOL! #GODZWAR!

Being next to the oldest of seven kids, I can’t remember exactly when the desire for personal playmates sprouted. Perhaps, that’s why my social skills were noticeably under-developed when it came to fitting in with ‘other than sibling’ cliques. I guess you’d call that shyness, huh? Needless to say, I was generally the least likely to be picked first in just about everything! Every now and then someone would dare to look beyond the outward appearance and see a real me thereby forging relatively long-term fellowships! Hence, down thru the years I’ve learned to treasure my short list of BFF’s!

In retrospect, who knows what unknown paths of destruction The Sovereign Lord was re-directing me out of? Lord knows I’ve had my share of unrecognized ‘BUT GOD’ experiences and am eternally grateful that I survived to tell it! Topping the list will always be my day of personal revelation of The God who knows everything about me, from the inside out, and yet loves me unconditionally faithfully! Until I met Jesus, I never imagined that I was already accepted and beloved by the TRUE SOURCE of Life and Love! (Ref. Ephesians 1:6)

WOW! After all the time I’d spent trying to escape the pain, punishment and penalty of being born naughty by nature, only to discover that I could not do it on my own. It took The Power of God, to re-create and re-purpose me to live free to glorify my Creator! While we’re so busy with the ‘going and getting’ business of life, cluelessly running away from HIM, we miss His Voice drawing us to rest in His Presence, Power and Peace! Whoknu?

Before the foundation of the world, GOD The Father ordained that The RESTORER of EVERY breach, the BRIDGE from death to life, JESUS, to heal ALL the brokeness of our soul’s infirmities and to preserve us thru the EMPOWERING PRESENCE of HOLY SPIRIT, as we sojourn in this world awaiting the ultimate translation to our eternal reunion in Heaven!

Shamefully, in our relentless pursuit of the riches of this world (with no regard for the consequences), too often we neglect The One who is constantly pursuing us, longing to fulfill the intimate fellowship!

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27

Knowing that God intends for us to live happy, healthy and whole abiding in the indwelling Spirit of Jesus Christ allows you and I to enjoy  a lifestyle of unimaginable favor found only in an incomparable eternal personal relationship with the INFINITE new BFF, HOLY SPIRIT! #howboutU? #REALLY?

But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to god must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.’ Hebrews 11:6

 

The other day I heard someone say something that I thought was quite profound, at least thought provoking. It was said that “we are swirling towards eternity at the speed of life!” History is being written every day. Memories are being made, every day. Lessons are being taught and learned, every day. Attitudes are being formed and developed, every day.

As I began to think about this, several questions flooded my mind. First, does God’s Presence influence your life? How has the Presence of God influenced your life? What impact has God’s Presence made in your circle of influence?

We love to sing the song, “Jesus you are the center of my joy, all that’s good and perfect comes from you; you’re the Heart of my contentment, Hope for all I do….” But when the music stops, how’s your walk?

The Bible does not merely ask us to have faith to believe that God does exist. But we must also believe that God is who He says He is, that God is with us and that God is for us. (Ref. Hebrew 11:6) Accordingly, if we desire to please The Lord we must walk out our lives under the influence of His Presence that we may exemplify our beliefs throughout the course of daily living.

Does your character reflect the Presence of God in your life? Does the influence of God’s Presence affect the choices that you make? Does your life style reflect the influence of God’s Presence?

We are living epistles (letters) and folk are reading our mail, every day! How is the Presence of God in you influencing your readers? Just a thought! #ijs (Ref. 2 Corinthians 3:1-3)

The Bible says, we are the salt of the earth. I believe that means that we ought to make someone who doesn’t know God, thirsty for a drink of The Living Waters. (Ref. Matthew 5:13-14)

As Christians, our greatest desire should be to allow the influence of God’s Presence to be reflected on those around us so much so that it provokes them to envy  and thirst for The God that we worship and  ultimately seek to claim Him as their personal Savior and Lord! 

Looking back, perhaps there where many times when we almost, and unfortunately, even more times where we flat-out missed opportunities to Glorify God! Nevertheless, as this year slips into eternity past, instead of lingering in the land of pouting and doubting remember that BUT…by God’s Grace, we all have another opportunity to begin, again! 

KEEP IT MOVING! LIVE EACH DAY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF GOD’S PRESENCE IN YOUR LIFE! 

May you embrace a productive and prosperous New Year!
