Everything living changes! #Didjaheardat?

From the moment of beginning, life evolves, progressively spiraling from eternity past through present towards eternity future. The Eternal Life-Giver sets into motion HIS own pre-determined course, every thing according to the counsel of His Will and Good Pleasure. (Ref. Ecclesiastes 3:1)

So why are we so taken aback by the sudden shifts?

Perhaps it has a lot to do with the often brutal abrupt interruptions to the comfort and security of familiarity. Be it pleasant or unpleasant, there’s something about humanity’s expectation of normal that enables us to resign to a certain sense of contentment. Some might call it the spirit of survival or resilience.

Don’t you just love hearing these words ringing out in a blazing testimony of the overcoming, triumphant power of a believer—or not? Perhaps, you can you remember hearing these words and being overcome with a sense of disappointment and failure in self for having weaknesses that you are yet struggling with.

Sometimes, like the world, the saints concoct their own sanctified Hollywood version of their personal lives to escape unpleasant realities. Yet, the Bible does not teach this kind of fantasy life. In fact, Jesus says, “These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16.33

GOOD MORNING FAM! GOTTA MOMENT! OOOOHHH GLORRRAAAA!

Once again, we are absolutely delighted that you have joined us in our weekly Corporate Prayer and Fasting. Savior, like a shepherd lead us, much we need Thy tender care; In Thy pleasant pastures feed us, for our use Thy folds prepare. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast bought us, Thine we are. Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus! Thou hast bought us, Thine we are!

Abba Father, here we are again! As we hear the call of Holy Spirit, inviting us to seek Thy Face, our hearts reply, Thy Face Oh Lord we seek! We bow in humble and obeisance, basking in the radiant ambiance of Your Magnificent Majesty! We draw nigh to You with our hands lifted high and our hearts rejoicing in Your Sovereignty! For You Are the Self-Existent, Creator and Sustainer of all living creation. With holy-boldness we cry out, knowing that in Your Presence there’s fullness of Joy and at Your Right Hand are pleasures forever more! Sweet Jesus!

Thank You for loving us! Thank You for choosing us Thank You for redeeming us! Thank You for forgiving us! Thank You for keeping us! Thank You for being such a patient and understanding God and Father to us! We know that there was and is nothing in us that merits such loving-kindness, mercy and grace that You’ve poured out upon our lives! From our Mother’ womb You have kept us, carried us, shielded us from dangers seen and unseen. Hear our sincere confession, “If it had not been for the LORD on our side, our enemies would’ve swallowed us up a long time ago!”

We praise You Heavenly Father for directing Holy Spirit to open our eyes and break-thru the shallowness of our stony hearts, revealing to us The Wondrous Grace of Salvation that You have made available to any who will humbly seek and accept the Sacrificial Atonement of Your Beloved Son, Jesus Christ! We bless You for adopting us into Your Royal Family and decreeing us as joint-heirs with Christ!

Sweet Jesus, teach us to see sin through Your eyes and to acknowledge it as evil wickedness and rebellion against the Lover of our souls! And when we sin, quicken our spirit to repent immediately and to confess with our mouth our wrongdoing, that we might receive the Gracious forgiveness of our Heavenly Father!

We bless Your Holy Name, not only because You have forgiven us more than we could ever know, but because over and over You’ve blessed us even when we failed to keep our promises to You! For this we pray, “Abba Father, forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to Your Heart. Holy Spirit, because You have given us the assurance, that as we confess our sin, You are Faithful and Just to forgive, pardon and restore us back into rightful fellowship with You, we ask and thank You NOW for Your forgiveness! For this cause, we gladly present our spirit, soul and body as a living holy sacrifice to be used for Your Greatest Glory! in The Precious Name of Jesus!”

Precious Lord, because no man can come to the Father except You draw them, we intercede on behalf of every unsaved soul, please quicken the Spirit of Godly-repentance in their heart and in their mind that they will come to you today confessing a “sincere Yes” to your Amazing Gift of Grace that they might be able to receive You as their personal Lord and Savior! We’re believing that You will Divinely orchestrate their footsteps settleling them into a local church home today.

Lord, we ask You to put a fresh  “committed YES” in the heart and mind of every backslider! Let today be the day that they come back to You and come back to YOUR church where they will wholly submit their lives to the sound teachings of Your Word, and learn to love and live their lives walking to please You First!

Abba, we ask that You encourage and comfort the souls of Your Elect who are overwhelmed with fear, doubt and worry because of the things that are going on in our personal lives and in this ungodly world systems! Send Your assurance with an double-portion-outpouring of Divine Favor upon each who needs encouragement and empowerment to stand steadfast, immovable in the midst of these wicked and evil days! Console and Comfort us to know that we are never alone and never without Your Very Present Help!

Father, we pray that You will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, kidney disease, heart/lung disease and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Heavenly Father, You are Alpha and Omega, the same yesterday, today and forever! Therefore, even as You walked this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re Well Able to do the same right now! Your Word declares that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! Amen 3x!

Heavenly Father, we pray according to Your Will, for the leaders of our nation, corporate, judicial, education, financial institutions and our churches! We come against the Spirit of rampant immorality, hatred, corruption, deceitfulness, rhetoric ambiguity, racism, bigotry, pride, arrogance, and human-supremacy! We’re asking that You touch the minds and hearts, that You speak to them in dreams and visions letting them know that You Who Sit Enthroned Above the Heavens are keeping record of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly!

Heavenly Father, we bring so many others that we’ve failed to mention before Your throne O God. Those who are broken hearten, feeble in mind, body and spirit, the one at a crossroad of life who have no idea where to go or who to turn to, the ones addicted to harmful substances, our armed forces, policemen, fire and rescue personnel, nurses, doctors, pastors and leaders, missionaries far and near; our leaders of the world. We’re trusting You to send peace where there is confusion, send love where there is hate, send unity where there is division. Bless the fatherless and motherless. Keep us ALL in your care. These favors we ask in Jesus mighty name!!

Father we wait in confidence and quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are suddenly trembling in terror and retreating in shameful defeat, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Abba Father, we stand in agreement with You Who hears ours prayers and forgives our transgressions! Holy Father, because You have chosen to live in Your House, we shout with exceeding Joy unto The Hope of all the earth, believing that as Your face shines upon us, You are making Your Ways and Salvation known among all nations for You Guide and Rule justly!

Father, we thank You NOW, for WE believe that it is done! In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen 3X and It Is So!
Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT JESUS SAVES!

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb; He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Romans 4:19-22

 

As a remnant of the 20th Century Church, at the ripe ol’ age of 60 sumptin’  I’ve lived long and experienced and seen enough to have a much clearer understanding of why The God of The Bible adamantly commanded His Chosen Ones to resist amalgamating with those outside of covenant relationship with Him. (Ref. 2 Corinthians 6:17) And some of us thought that God just wanted to keep us from having any fun, huh?  Considering the way this world is headed, now we see the consequences of not distinguishing ourselves from unbelievers. Apparently, Father still knows best, huh? #SERIOUSLY

Unfortunately, many who profess Christ, remain double-minded and straddling the fence! I can only assume their current stance is peculiarly depending on the group they happen to be in the midst of. Of course, God never intended for us to strut around robed in a spirit of self-righteous-arrogance, with our noses in the air, as if we are somehow better than anybody else! Howeverrrr, spiritually speaking, as recipients of God’s Amazing Grace, it does make us better-off! Oh no she didn’t!!! OOOHHH YES, I DID!

What’s the matter Zion? Are we allowing the hourly massive influx of social-media reports of wide-spread chaos leave us so traumatized by predictions of doom and gloom that they have muted our praise and drained us of  ANY Hope? If we’re walking around with our heads hung down and hearts inundated with fear and anxiety; worried about how we gonna make it, then what separates us from the Gentiles? Don’t shout me down, nah?  #IJS…

Abraham,  God’s Proclaimed ‘Father of faith’, found himself in a seemingly hopeless situation. Not surprisingly, Abraham tried to fix the problem by himself. He ended up with an Ishmael (the child of the flesh) when God intended to give him Isaac (the child of Promise)!  Finally, after the drama and chaos had escalated to the point that Sarah gave him an ultimatum (it’s either her or me) suddenly, Father Abraham had an epiphany, ultimately resigning to the one viable conclusion, “the only hope that I have of this thing ever working is Divine Intervention.” In other words, “Lord, without YOUR GRACE, I can’t do this!”

OMG! Can we ever identify with Abraham! How many times have we been in a situation and we tried and tried, we cried and cried, murmured and complained, spent all we had and still came up short? It was not until we, like Abraham, made a conscious decision to stop depending on our inability, started relying on God’s Ability and turned it over to Jesus, that our hope was revived!

As the text says, when all human reasoning for hope was exhausted, Abraham hoped on and God brought life into his dead situation. (Ref. Romans 4:17-18) Hence, when we come to the end of ourselves, God steps in and does what seemed impossible!

Stop listening to that devil telling you, “it’s too late, you might as well accept the situation for what it is –eminent defeat!” He’s still is and willl always be a LIAR and THE FATHER OF LIES! My precious saints, don’t allow your present (temporary) circumstances cause you to doubt the Faithful Power of God’s Eternal Word. Why settle for seconds?  #ijs If you are Abraham’s seed, you are the heirs of righteousness! #didjaheardat? WOW!

Lift up your heads, O Ye Gates! You have been  ordained, anointed and authorized as agents of change! SO, gird up the loins of your mind AND walk this thang out, confident, courageous and fully persuaded that SINCE YOU ARE IN CHRIST, THE CHRIST IN YOU automatically gives you a Supernatural advantage over natural consequences! (Ref. Colossians 1:27; 2 Corinthians 2:14)

TRUST2KNO, EVERYTHING GOD STARTS, HE COMPLETES! (Philippians 1:6) AND WHATEVER GOD PROMISES, HE IS WELL ABLE  AND WILLING 2 PERFORM! 

PRECIOUS ONE,  JUS LET IT GO, REMEMBER…EVEN IF I CAN’T, GOD CAN!

BEHOLD OUR GOD

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid, for YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isa. 49:16

 

In light of prevailing gross darkness and prevalent winds of foreboding devastation and desolation in our world today, it’s no wonder that we’re stressed out, huh? Even those who have placed their faith in the Saving Grace of Jesus very souls have been vexed by the state of this nation! In answer to my prayerful inquiry, ‘Precious Lord, what’s going on?’,  I was incited by the Comforting Presence of Holy Spirit to review the words of God’s Prophet, Isaiah, speaking to the remnant of God’s Elect nation.

According to the text, once again, God’s people find themselves facing eminent danger of massive destruction, yet we hear Isaiah offering  words of warning and hope that we’d do well to glean from today! The Prophet encourages them that no matter what’s happening around you, don’t be afraid, but keep trusting and praising our God! Isaiah, knowing God inhabits the praises of His people, speaks to souls wearied by the consequences of unwise choices and reminds them that their only hope of deliverance was to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of their Lord! (Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:58)

Saints, the first step in overcoming any challenge is to keep the main thing the main thing! God is Holy, Righteous and Just! While He must punish the unjust, His Anger does not last forever! Unlike many of our earthly fathers, YAH is our covenant-keeping God and remains a Faithful Father, Saving Strength, Shield, Provider and Redeemer to all who call upon Him! From His own Mouth, Abba Father promises to wipe away the tears from our faces and keep us in perfect peace just because we trust in Him! #Didjaheardat?  WOW! (Ref. Isaiah 25:8, 26:3-4)

Beloved, when life is out of your control, set your affections on The Eternal Hope of the Ages and not the temporary circumstances of this present time! Rest assured, Jesus is always in control!  God’s Word declares that you are the apple of His eye and He has tatooed your name in the palm of His Hands forever. (Ref. Psalm 17:8; Isa. 49:16)

In the midst of these unsettling times, I adjourn you to keep your eyes on Jesus, The Joy of your Salvation! Precious ones, when you can’t see no way, why not confuse hell and praiz JESUS anyhow! Don’tchaknow? At the mere mentioning of THE NAME OF JESUS demons tremble and the angelic host is put on alert!

Ooooh Yeah! TRUST2KNOW, The Great and Holy One of Israel is closer than ever before! Therefore, Precious Ones, don’t be deceived by temporary circumstantial evidence! Hold on to every Promise we’ve been given by your Covenant Keeping Lord and “Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”  (Psalm 121:4)  LOOK UP AND BEHOLD YOUR GOD!

It’s been a few years ago that Holy Spirit pricked my heart prompting me to ask this question, ‘ARE WE THER YET?’ I’m sure that it caused you to reminisce about the 2005 film starring Nick Persons (Ice Cube) Nia Long and Aleisha Allen!

Sadly, once again many of my fellow kinsmen in Christ find ourselves trapped in this dilemma (whether we’re willing to acknowledge it publicly or even privately)! What am I talking about, NOW? While it gladdens our hearts to acknowledge the tremendous strides that we, as a nation, have taken as it relates to establishing ethnic, gender and social equality in the land of the free, on the other hand, we’re yet haunted by the insidious pink elephant in the room, chanting “We ain’t where we used to be, but we sho ain’t where we ought to be!” Don’ lost half my church, again, huh?

Granted, it’s been the custom of many of our leaders to ascribe to the notion of ‘separation of state and church’, yet, there has been a subtle reformation amongst a few to sneak preach their opposition to those who have, in no uncertain terms, expressed their earnest and impassioned desires to repeal and replace the furtherance of political, legislative, economic, social and religious progressions of the more contemporized inclusive mind-sets of 21st Century millenniums with the more partisan-palatable-self-engrandising traditions of their ancestral culture. Oooh NO SHE DIDN’T! #uknowidid!

Quite honestly, the recent events of the past year and a half,  plainly affirm the vociferous premise, “We ain’t there yet”!  Down thru the years, those of us who have witnessed numerous infractions of the civil and domestic rights, defined by The U.S. Constitution, of every citizen of this nation, have been stupefied, shocked and yes terrified by the attitude and inexpiable restraint of those who consistently choose to ignore the obvious and supplant distractions in an effort to excuse the inexcusable activity that’s been perpetuated upon us DAILY, in live and in living HD coverage!

I must confess, personally,  it’s becoming increasingly difficult for the saved and sane, who sincerely endeavor to obediently follow after the heart of God, to fake stupid and go along just to get along! Some of us actually believed our Grandma and Maya Angelo, “If someone repeatedly shows you who they are, BELIEVE THEM!” #IJS!!!

Life has a way of teaching us two of the greatest deterrents to successfully reaching our goals: contentment and indulgence!  Again, I’m not trying to negate the credibility of The Apostle Paul’s revelation “Not that I speak in respect to want, for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (Philippians 4:11) However, I AM simply reverberating the apparent, if we linger here too long, our contentment becomes a comfort zone that potentially diminishes our hope, dreams and drive for reaching better…there! GOD FORBID!

God promised to bring His Chosen people into their good land, flowing with milk and honey! But when they got so comfortable going around Mount Horeb that they were willing to settle for a piece of God’s Promise, this became unacceptable! When do we grow-up into a level of spiritual maturity that exemplifies God’s perspective of righteousness? Not only is partial obedience disobedience, but it also robs Him of the opportunity to fully express His Glory!

Beloved, it’s time out for pointing our fingers at them Israelites and not looking at our own lives to recognize how many times we’ve settled for less than God was offering! Yes, we are not called out to fight as the world, nevertheless, the weapons of our warfare are still mighty thru God! (Ref. 2 Chronicles 7:14) BUT! When we get thru praying that effectual fervent prayer of the righteous that availeth much, we get up and vote, show up at the city council, town hall, school board, PTA and home-owners association meetings!

I dare U shout on dat?

Please hear my heart, Precious One, God said, “It’s time to head northward! Shake the dust of compromise off your feet and getta steppin—FORWARD”!

Let’s lift up our heads! Remember, “…the race is not given to the swift neither to the strong, But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved”Matthew 24:13!

Nawh, we might not be there yet, BUT…GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN US THAN HE THAT’S IN THIS WORLD! Let the Spirit of Caleb rise up in you, exhale the spirit of doubt and fear and trust GOD 2 PREVAIL THRU UR FAITH AND FEET!

ARE YOU ‘THERE’ YET? SERIOUSLY?

SELAH Daily Devotions!

GOOD MORNING FAMILY! GOTTA MOMENT? Awesome! Once again, we are excited that you’ve joined us, in our weekly day of Corporate Prayer and Fasting! SHALL WE PRAY?

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus And to take Him at His Word! Just to rest upon His promise. And to know thus saith the Lord! Jesus, Jesus how I trust Him. How I proved Him o’er and o’er. Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for GRACE 2 trust Him more; Oh, for GRACE 2 Trust U more…We love U Lord, and we lift our voice; to worship U O my soul, rejoice! Take joy my KING, in what U hear, and let it be a sweet, sweet, sound in UR ears…let it be a sweet, sweet sound in URRR Ears…

 

Heavenly Father, we come one more time, to thank You for allowing us to see one more today! We have so much to thank You for, and because we refuse to take anything for granted, we praise You for our being able to breathe, see, to hear, walk, talk and even think to pray this morning! We’re so blessed, because You are a forgiving God and  understanding God, not only have You have done so much for me, You keep right on blessing me over and over again! Abba Father, forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to Your Heart. I ask now for Your forgiveness, in The Precious Name of Jesus!

As we embrace the day ahead, help us to start this day with a new attitude and loads of gratitude. Please keep us safe from all hurt, harm and danger. Let us make the best of each moment that You gift to us! Lord Jesus, clear our minds so that we can hear from You and cleanse our hearts that we may deny ourselves, trust and obey Your Will!

Dear Lord, please help us to not whine and whimper over things which we have no control. Touch our eyes that we may continue to see sin through God’s eyes and hate what You hate acknowledging it’s wickedness and evil. And when we sin, quicken our spirits to quickly repent, confessing to You with our mouths our wrongdoing, and receive Your Gracious Forgiveness!

During these troubling times, where the cares of this world seem to be closing in around us, draw us into the secret place of Your Presence to pray. Comfort us through the truth that when we’re pushed beyond our limits, we must make prayer our first response and not a last resort! I thank You also because I know that when I can’t pray, You listen to my heart and interpret every moan, groan and sigh of my spirit! Father, we’re eternally grateful that despite of my fractures and dysfunctions, You are yet able to use us to do Your will ensuring The You Alone get The Glory!

Abba Father, continue to bless us that we may be a blessing to others. Keep us strong that we may help the weak. Keep us uplifted that we may have words of encouragement for the downtrodden. As we remember from whence we’ve come, Sweet Jesus, we pray for those who are lost and can’t find their way. We pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. We pray for those who don’t know You intimately. We pray for those who don’t believe that You sent Jesus, not to condemn us, but to convict us of our lawlessness and to free us from the power, pain and penalty of Sin.

When we look back over our lives, we can’t help but cry out, Thankya Jesus, for that Blessed Day when You opened our hearts enabling us to believe and receive the wonderful Revelation of the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ! We know that because You are not biased neither are You a respecter of persons, this SAME Grace is yet available to any who will ask!

Precious Lord, because no man can come to the Father except You draw them, Father, we intercede on behalf of every unsaved soul, please quicken their hearts and minds with a Spirit of Godly-repentance that they will cry out to You today, with a “sincere YES” to Your Amazing Gift of Grace and receive You as their personal Savior and Lord! We pray for all our sisters and brothers and for every family member in their households. We’re praying for peace, unity, love and joy in our homes. We believing that Your Divine Favor is now being poured out upon everyone as their faith is rising to a level that they’re faithful and obedient to put Your Word above their will and desires, thereby releasing supernatural abundance in every area of their lives. Because You are Jehovah Jireh, as we put You first, all our needs being are met according to Your Riches in Glory. In Jesus Name!

Father, we’re lifting up our children, our children’s children by faith, as many of them are beginning a new school year, new jobs and careers, we’re committing them into Your care, realizing that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too! We have the blessed assurance that their steps are being ordered by Your eyes! We rebuke the spirits of bullying, fear, failure, anxiety, low self-esteem, lethargy and dyslexia ! We release a Spirit of Peace, Hope, Excellence, Empowerment, Wisdom, Understanding, Confidence, Security and Success! Abba Father, we thank You that because the angels of the Lord shall be encamped around them, no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper! In Jesus Name!

Father, we lift up every spiritual leader, asking that You grant an immediate manifestation of that special miracle for each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the convicting Power and Anointing of Holy Spirit! Sweet Jesus, we’re trusting and believing that You will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love with You, trust wholly in and commit to live their lives faithfully and obediently serving You!

We pray for every government, national and state legislative, corporate, judicial, education and health care leader! We’re asking that You touch their minds and hearts that they will be continuously opened to hear and obey Your Will! And Father, we pray that You speak to them in dreams and visions letting them know that You Who Sit Enthroned Above the Heavens is keeping record of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly! Lord Jesus, we’re standing on Your Immutable Word, as decreed, that The government of this world shall rest upon Your shoulders and that You are The Eternal King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Heavenly Father, as we yield our lives to Your Sovereign Providential Care, we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of sickness and disease, all yokes of fear, anxiety, weariness, oppression, depression, addiction, perversion, covetousness, bitterness, bigotry, resentment, racism, unforgiveness, hopelessness, doubt and fear is being exposed, bound and defeated by THE BLOOD OF JESUS NOW! As we’re praying, we’re believing that You are releasing Your Yoke Destroying, Burden Bearing Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power, Sound-mindness, Peace, Purpose and Prosperity into the lives of Your people now, in Jesus Name!

Father, we wait humbly in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that every worker of iniquity is suddenly trembling in terror, departing in shameful defeat and running away from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Heavenly Father, we pray that these words be conceived and received into the heart, mind and every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willfully! We also ask that every eye that reads this, knows that there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than Our God. Give us hope-filled rest that every battle is in Your Almighty Hands for You are El Shaddai!

Abba Father, we seal this prayer with a HEARTY THANKYA JESUS AND A HOLY HALLELUJAH, believing that IT IS DONE! In The Exalted Name of OUR REDEEMER, JESUS. Amen 3X and It Is So!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL ONE SOMEBODY THAT JESUS IS LORD 2 THE GLORY OF GOD OUR FATHER!

Because that’s exactly what many of us do when things don’t workout like we think they should. We marry our soul mate and three years later, we’re widowed. We train up our children to love and follow Jesus, and they’re addicted to cocaine. We finally get that promotion and are able to buy our dream house and the doctor reports confirm that your wife has Stage 4 breast cancer!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you…Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:5, 9

 

Throughout the [ages of The Holy Scriptures God has placed examples (role models) to teach us wisdom, to encourage us and to show us the potential hidden within each of us who will allow His Power to be manifested through our very being! However, it’s important to note that at some point in the lives of His servants, God will remove anyone or anything that you become co-dependent upon and anything that represents a mark for you to follow other than GOD-SELF! You shall have no other gods before Me. Exodus 20:3

 For forty years, Joshua had witnessed the anointing that rested upon Moses demonstrated through miraculous signs and wonders. He saw the courage and boldness with which Moses approached Pharaoh, commanding that he release God’s Chosen People.
“Go back to Pharaoh,” the LORD commanded Moses. “Tell him, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so they can worship me” Exodus 9:1

THEN, God spoke to Joshua, calling him to complete the task of leading Israel into The Promised Land. “Moses is dead; his season is over. Now it’s time for you, Joshua, to arise and position yourself that I might use you to fulfill my purpose through you. It’s time to go over the Jordan!”

Perhaps you’ve been there, huh? I mean, being confronted by an amazing opportunity that while potentially privileged, at the same time, seeming undeniably impossible! Seriously, when you don’t have that person/job/wisdom, skill, etc. that mentored, challenged, encouraged and stretched you beyond your comfort zone, it’s highly likely the waves of personal insufficiency will rise up and suddenly you find yourself tripping over hidden rocks of low self-esteem! Of course you don’t know if you have what you need to go over whatever it’s gonna take to overcome and succeed! #ijs!

Barricaded by the Spirit of Lo-debar, beneath the rubble of fear, doubt, shame and anxiety, the insurgent provocative ‘what if’s’ begin to surface, challenging your faith! Not in God, but can you stand up to the responsibility of such daunting privilege? Okay, I guess it’s jus me, huh?

BUT…Ain’t you glad that God already knows what He’s getting when He calls us? Hallelujah 2 the Lamb!!!

Thankfully, God knowing our frame, never asks us to do anything that He’s not totally committed to helping us complete! God made Joshua a Promise that you and your people will go over this Jordan! Didjaheardatt? Don’t jus dream about it, don’t just talk about it! BUT position yourself in GOD and GOD WILL give you the land! Be strong in the Lord and the Power of HIS MIGHT! (Ref. Ephesians 6:10) Ignore the naysayers, and take GOD at HIS WORD! Don’t fret, falter or fain! Put it in your heart, mind and your mouth! U gotta know that over that barrier, there’s a blessing awaiting you!

Remember, wherever your feet go, GOD SAID, I HAVE GIVEN IT 2 U! AS I WAS WITH MOSES, SO SHALL I BE WITH U! Hence, Beloved, take courage and trust GOD for your success! NOW GET UP AND GO GET YOUR BLESSING! #ARISE&CONQUER!
