ITZ THE GOD IN ME

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know Him, for he lives with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17

 

Looking back through the lenses of 21st Century influence, we see that since the birth of The New Testament Church it has been plagued with  external and  interal controversy!  While most Biblical scholars agree that the Church was born on The Day of Pentecost, generally that’s where the consensus begins and ends.

According to The Scriptures, The Risen Savior showed Himself to His disciples, who were still reeling from the horrific events that had just taken place, and instructed them “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptised with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit”. Acts 1:4-5

God knew how much the disciples had come to rely upon Jesus’s Presence during the past 3 ½ years He’d walked with them, teaching, guiding and protecting them but now at Christ’s Ascension, would fall victim to their fears, confusion and discouragement!  Although, Jesus had on numerous occasions assured them that He would not leave them without Divine Assistance, but promised to send them another Comforter in the person of Holy Spirit to empower them to complete their assignment to spread The Message of Christ throughout the whole world–this revelation seems to have escaped them in the ensuing threat of impending persecution!

What is this PROMISE?  The Holy Spirit is known as the third person of The Triune God! While The Holy Spirit functions differently from God The Father and God The Son, He is reverenced as equal in Holiness in The God-Head!

Beloved, as a believer in The Saving Grace of Lord Jesus, God has given us the very samePromise. The moment we make a sincere profession of faith, The Holy Spirit moves into our hearts and fills us with hope, conviction and confidence that we are now a part of God’s Family, a Royal-Priesthood, a Holy Nation! (Ref. 1 Peter 2:9)

However, this is only the beginning! Along with this regeneration (the new birth) comes a challenge and a charge! As a born-again-blood-washed Child of The Kingdom, we are called to be ambassadors of our King to a lost and dying world! Therefore, we also need to be filled and empowered with the enabling Grace and Authority of the indwelling Spirit of Jesus in order to do The Father’s Will and glorify Him in the earth! C’mon nah, don’t shout me down!

Just as the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the disciples in the Upper Room, God wants each of us to experience this same anointing! (Ref. 2:1-4) Unfortunately, NOT EVERYONE accepts this spectacular gift that God promised to as many who would receive Him! Yet, this does not preclude any one from partaking of the fullfilment of The Promise! (Ref. Mark 7:13)

“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people…” Acts 2:17 

While it’s not my intention to persuade any away from their affirmation, as Martin Luther, “I cannot in good consciousience deny my own personal experience!” Therefore, I can stand firmly fixed in humily with adoration proclaiming, ‘There is absolutely no doubt in my heart nor mind, that any good that I do, any wisdom that I have, any knowledge that I’ve gained, any challenge that I’ve overcome over these past 30 years of walking in Christ, is a direct result of ‘The God in me’!

There is no way for mere man to live the HOLY abundant life as prescribed in The Word without the counsel, guidance, and help  of the indwelling navigation of Holy Spirit! And isn’t that what God expects of all of us? Revolutionary, huh?

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (Colossians 1:27)

WOW!  IF YOU SUPPLY THE SACRIFICE, HE SUPPLIES THE FIRE! IT’S ALL GOD IN US!

One thing for certain, two things for sure: Life happens fast and furious! Preparing for the unexpected is a challenge for any of us! Saved or Unsaved, huh?

Yet as believers in The Lordship of Jesus Christ, we’re taught to do just that! The Word of God warns us that when faced with seemingly overwhelming circumstances, as believers, our first response must be to resist panic and anxiety! How many times has your circumstantial evidence threatened to destroy all hope for recovering the calmness that we once enjoyed walking in the comfort of God’s favor? #bothhandsup!

Nevertheless, time and wisdom have trained us that Satan delights in using  fortuitous turbulent winds and haphazardry waves of chaos, temptations and uncertainty to manipulate and vex the minds of unsuspecting sainted-souls of God’s elect.

From the beginning, The Master of Deceit, has proven himself quite adept in distracting our hearts away from what we know of God, derailing our commitment to trust and  giving way to questioning, doubt, unbelief and ultimately dissipating our hope-filled confidence into pits of of desperation, fear and despair! While it sometimes appears as if Satan has been declared the victor, it behooves you to not fall for the ‘ookey-doke’, and never ever underestimate The Power of God! 

TRUST2KNO, GOD IS SOVEREIGN!! Hence, your enemies can’t intrude into your life, except God allows! And the only way that He’ll permit the demons to invade your personal space, is to prove that His greater purpose excels far beyond your temporary pain and discomfort!

Therefore, Beloved, don’t believe everything you see! The enemy’s arsenal is flanked by confusion, isolation, intimidation and fear.  #AKA #FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL! Chances are, it ain’t what it looks like! Besides, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but as Children of Light, we’ve inherited HOLY GHOST POWER, LOVE AND A SOUND MIND! (Ref. 1 Peter 4:12-14) #Didjaheardat?

Regardless of what attempts to impede your trust and confident reliance on The Presence and Prominence of your Loving Heavenly Father, you cling steadfastly to what you’ve already experienced and sojourn safely through the murky rivers of Life! And even if, some water gets into your boat, keep in mind that your life is anchored in The Rock of Ages!

Faith in God’s Loving Care, gives us eternal assurance that  whenever/whatever the test, trial and trauma of life accost us, we can ride out the storms in quiet confidence that He Who called you ‘MINE’ Will NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE US! (Ref. Hebrews 13:5)

JESUS LIVED ABOVE THE CIRCUMSTANCES! SO, WHAT’S UP WITH U?

They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them. I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul. Jeremiah 32:38-41

 

As a child, I vaguely remember a glimpse of pride swelling up down on the inside whenever I heard someone say, ‘This is the GREATEST nation in the world’! I suppose that’s what they mean by ‘Let’s make this nation great…again, huh? But, that was before I became abruptly aware that there were two nations co-existing in one! #ijs!!

 

According to historical accounts, Courage and Confidence was once the hallmark of our nation! Yet, some  might suggest that the infamous catastrophic events of 911 has radically stripped away this lofty heritage and the hope-filled future legacy that was once ascribed to the land of Power, Peace and Prosperity is now being besieged by the rampant rage of darkening clouds of an evil foreboding fear, doubt, anxiety, stress, guilt, shame, confusion and condemnation!

Well, it behooves me to be so presumptuous to dare debate the inevitable result of widespread deviation from the moral standards as defined by The Holy Bible!I Howeverrrr, may I submit for your consideration, that without a holy reverence, a clear vision and a Divine impartation of understanding of WHO GOD IS & WHAT HE REQUIRES OF US, people’s strength will fail and their expectations of security perishes? The past has proven that without the restraint of law and order, destruction prevails! Well, like the ol’ skool preacha used to say, “I jus lost half my churrch!” Seriously?

Honestly, when we don’t understand Whose we are, we’ll be inclined to doubt God’s ability and even His willingness to help us. Void of genuine Hope and unable to trust God’s Unfailing Love, we instinctively depend upon self to take care of our needs and satisfy the desires of our own hearts. And we all know how that turns out, right?

But those of us who dare to risk resentment, ridicule and rejection from those who will slander our righteousness, labeling us as unloving and intolerant, WE DEFY the prevailing opinions of the worldly in favor of the guidelines of the Ancient Landmarks, rejoice in hope, fully persuaded that if we suffer for Christ sake, we shall also reign with Him! #CANIGETANGOODAMEN?

Through Faith and Hope, TRUE WORSHIPERS develop a singleness of -heart and mind, stemming from personal intimacy with The Lord Jesus Christ whereby we experience the Abiding Presence of God, trusting wholly in His Sustaining Grace!

Instead of conforming to the ways of the world, believers don’t bail out! Hence, in the face of the calamity and chaotic circumstances, we stand steadfast, rooted and grounded in The Promises, Provision and Power, persevering in the midst of devastation, famine and plagues, confident that we’re covered! Anybody remember Goshen, God’s Protected Place? (Ref. Exodus 8:22) #EXACTLY!!

Beloved, trust 2 know that when it looks like your world is falling apart, look again! Don’t allow fear to drain your faith! From Heaven’s perspective, everything is falling right in place! Remember, Jesus has already gone into Tomorrow to prepare a table before you, right in the presence of your enemies! (Ref. Psalm 23:5) #Didjaheardat?

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communication has light with darkness? And what accord has CHRIST with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of GOD with idols? For you are the temple of THE LIVING GOD. As GOD has said: “I WILL dwell in them And walk among them. I WILL be their GOD, And they SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.” 

 2 Corinthians 6:14-16
While few would disagree that segregation goes against the very essence of Christianity, there are certain circumstances where The Word of God embraces separation and it has absolutely nothing to do with the hue of your skin, the texture of your hair, the thickness of your lips nor the shape and size of your nose! HENCE, IT’S NOT A SKIN THING; IT’S A SIN THING!

We’re living in a space in time where the focus is no longer on living our lives faithfully obedient to the THE SPIRIT OF THE WORD, but how to make the WORD more accommodating, palatable, convenient and comforting to the masses in an effort to promote and fulfill our personal agenda rather than conforming to THE SOVEREIGN WILL OF OUR CREATOR! UUUMMMM??? Could this mentality BE the reason that sinners resist and so easily dismiss the relevancy of THE GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST? #ijs?

TRUTHBETOLD, IT’S CONFUSING, even for some of us seasoned soldiers of The Faith!  Don’t shout me down nah! Perhaps, we’d see more true conversions than compromise in The Kingdom if our VIDEOS aligned with our AUDIOS! ‘Cuse my folly; guess I jus used one of my senior tokens, huh?

Jus glad I can remember when the ol’ Preachas taught that there was a difference between clean and unclean and saved and unsaved? They stood unapologetically proclaiming that if we were willing to surrender ALL our hearts, open our minds, spirits and our body to HIS WILL, God would provide enuff Grace and Mercy to live our everyday lives in such a way that their godliness would invoke the sinner to envy the righteousness, peace and joy (ZOE) that’s available to every believer through their personal relationship with The Savior and Lord Jesus Christ! #SERIOUSLY! THEY DID!

Remember, ‘Bacndaday’ the Ol’ Skool Mothers testified, encouraging the saints that instead of being content with jus having a CRUSH on Christ to FALL DEEPLY in LOVE with JESUS? #WOW!  And we didn’t get offended and cuss ’em out or threaten to leave the churrch! SHO NUFF! Well?

UR RIGHT, TIMES HAVE CHANGED! HOWEVRRRR, TRUST2KNO, GOD’S STILL LOOKING 4 THE SAME THING TODAY!

 

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24

DIDJAKNO? Intentionally or NOT, WE ALL LIVE WHAT WE BELIEVE! #ijs!

SUPER VISION

The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.

So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey–the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. Exodus 3:7-8

 

Has God’s Promises ever seemed too good to be true? C’mon nah, I’m talking to some REAL-FOLK! Seriously! The reason being, our interaction with the physical world is naturally limited to the realm of our five senses! What we see, touch, feel, taste and smell is how we perceive the reality of the world around us! Unfortunately, there’s always much more going on than the natural man can conceive! For example, you can feel the breeze but what does the wind look like? Technicians can take a picture of a brain, but who can know the mind, BUT GOD! The stethoscope can hear the heartbeat, but can’t determine when you’re broken, hard-or faint-hearted! #ijs!!

Have you ever felt discarded or deserted, even by GOD? Well, let me assure you, you’re not alone! According to the historical events relayed in our scripture text, The Hebrews, God’s Chosen, who finding themselves smack-dab-n-da-middle of circumstantial evidence that most likely caused them to experience these very same emotions! For 450 years they lived enslaved to their Egyptian captors who took great pleasure in inflicting intolerable pain and suffering, intentionally rationing food and water only when they deemed necessary to keep them totally dependent upon their Hard Task Master’s will! Can you imagine the shame and hopelessness they, God’s Elect, having to endure the consequences of their rebellion and ensuing result of God’s Justice, with no end in sight? Howevrrr, even when they couldn’t detect His Presence, GOD’s LOVE abides Faithful!

 

Having lured His Servant, Moses to the backside of Mt. Horeb and startling him with a strange phenomenon, the Bush that refused to be consumed, God commissioned him to go tell “MY” people that ENUFF IS ENUFF!  (That’s contemporized AEC Version) “I’ve seen their oppression, I’ve heard their cry,  bottled every tear,  heard every prayer and NOW I AM COME to shut Pharaoh down and DELIVER you out of the hand of your enemy!” Not knowing whether or not his Israelite brothers would even listen to him, being a escaped felon hiding out in a foreign land, but Moses heeded God’s Word and shared it with his fellow-captives. Much to Moses’ amazement, the people grabbed hold to The Promise with all of their hearts and began shouting and dancing in the streets, celebrating the GOOD NEWS, believing that THE WORDS THAT MOSES SPAKE CAME STRAIGHT FROM GOD’S MOUTH!

Eventually, the message got to Pharaoh’s Palace, nevertheless, he took it as a grain of salt. After all, this was not the first time that these ignorant slaves had started these silly rumors in an effort to keep HOPE ALIVE! Pharaoh was convinced that it’s JUS FAKE NEWS! But for those who had endured 450 years of GOD’s SILENCE IN THE MIDST OF GROSS DARKNESS, IT WAS LIFE AND LIGHT!

 

The Bible says, “My Sheep know MY VOICE AND I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME”! (Ref. John 10:27) “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) When you begin to look beyond what your natural eyes can see and your vision is filtered through the lens of FAITH, YOU COME2KNO THAT IT AIN’T ALWAYS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE! While the world’s systems operates on the principle “I’ll BELIEVE IT WHEN I SEE IT”, GOD’s Kingdom operates by a higher standard, “I WILL BELIEVE TO SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING!” (Ref. Psalm 27:13)

When you place your personal trust in The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and The God of Jacob, faith opens you up to experience SUPER VISION, exposing things that are not seen as though they already exist! God’s Word is filled with exceeding great and Precious Promises that are greater than anything that the oppressor threatens! Oh, remember what happened to that arrogant obstinate Pharaoh and His Army? Right, THEY ALL DROWNED IN THE RED SEA! (Ref. Exodus 14:28-29) #ijs!!

 

BELOVED, WHEN WE TRUST GOD WITH ALL OF OUR HEART, MIND, SOUL AND SPIRIT, we discover POWER that’s out of this world that erupts A HOPE-FILLED PRAISE, an ABSOLUTE ASSURANCE THAT ‘I AM, WILL CERTAINLY BE WITH U’, and A CONFIDENT HOLY BOLDNESS THAT PUTS THE DEVIL ON NOTICE OF HIS IMMINENT DEMISE!

TRUST2KNO, NOT MATTER WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, IF GOD SAID IT, IT’S GOTTA HAPPEN! Didjaseedat? YEAH, SUPER VISION!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6

 

I wasn’t born and raised in the church like a lot of you. I was one of those who kinda fell up in the doors of the church after years of getting beat up and beat down by the devil’s abuse. But thanks be to GOD! The Gracious Compassion Savior took me in and saved me anyhow! Being naïve and overwhelmed with pure joy and gladness to be saved, I actually thought everybody would love, welcome, accept and celebrate with me, because they were so glad that I was now part of the family of God!

Needless to say, I was shocked to discover that people are still people—in and out of the church. I still remember Mother Annie Carter, (my 1st spiritual mentor) pulling me under her wing, warning me “Stay close to the praying part of the church, baby”.  At the time, I wasn’t quite sure what Mother was talkin about, howevrrrr, it didn’t take long for me to realize that only THE REAL TRUE GOD can make a saint!

Beloved, you see what I didn’t know was that the Church is a construction zone and the Master Builder is GOD! He doesn’t build His House with brick and mortar, but with flesh and blood (dirt and water)!  Through the Precious Blood of Jesus and the regenerating Power of THE WORD, Holy Ghost equips ordinary, imperfect people to do extraordinary exploits!

While, some of us just need a few minor adjustments, others may require little more or even a major overhaul. TRUTHBTOLD, most of us  are so jacked up by the time we got to Jesus that we need a longer stay in the furnaces of afflictions than others before we’re done.  So don’t be surprized when you get a little too close to a brother or sista and get pricked by a thorn!

Always remember, there’s some good in the worst of us and some bad in the best of us, okay?  Nonetheless, we are all under construction according to The Master Carpenter’s specs and all of us  need the same GOD to help all of us!

Even if your intentions are just and honorable, sometimes helping people can hurt you! The Scriptures back this up numerous times!  Yes, even the most sainted, faithful and committed servants of The High God can become entrapped, disenfranchised, hopelessly discouraged and find ourselves retreating to dark caves or the backside of mountains and valleys.  It doesn’t matter how long or how far you’ve walked with The Lord, any of  God’s faithful-elect, can find themselves overwhelmed by the cares of this world to the point that you’re tempted to just give up and leave the church! #shuturmouth!

But, before you do something foolish, can I remind you of this one thing? There is NO PLAN B!

We’re it! God chose us name by name to expand His Kingdom in the earth, fully ware of the challenges of this seemingly impossible task.  That’s why He sent Holy Ghost to equip you to overcome!  Yep,  The Holy Ghost is your personal trainer! He takes your everyday life, places you on pathways strategically designed to stretch and strengthen your christian character, develop your trust, build up your confidence and fortify your commitment!

While it may not always look like God’s anywhere to be found, HE IS ALWAYS RIGHT THERE preparing you for a glorious future!  (Ref. Hebrew 13:5)

 BELOVED, TRUST2KNO, HELL CAN’T STOP ANYTHING THAT HEAVEN STARTS! GOD COMPLETES EVERYTHING HE STARTS!  UNDER CONSTRUCTION? UUUHHH… REALLY…MAKE SURE YOU’RE WEARING UR HARD HAT! #Didjaheardat?

GOOD MORNING FAM! GOTTA MOMENT? GLORRAA2GAWD!

We’re delighted to have you join us again in our weekly Thursdays’ Corporate Prayer and Fasting! During these vexing times, we are eternally grateful to our Creator for allowing us the honor and privilege to come boldly before His Majestic Throne and find Grace, Mercy and Hope that empowers us to remain steadfast in our faith, trusting You to perfect everthing that concerns us. Shall we go in together,..

Bow down and worship Him! Worship Him! Ooooh worship Him! Bow down and worship Him! Enter in! Oooh enter in! Consuming Fire, Sweet Perfume! Your awesome frangrance, fills this room! This is Holy ground! This is Holy ground! Come on and bow down! Ooooh Sweet Wonder! Ooooh Sweet Wonder! JESUS THE SON OF GOD! OOOOHHHH SWEET WONDER! OOOHHH SWEET WONDER! JESUSSSUSSSS THE SON OF GOD!

 

Abba Father, we come now with our hands lifted up,  mouths filled with praise and adoration and hearts loaded with gratitude to The Only Wise God, our Lord and Savior! We know that it was You who watched over us, keeping us safe during the night, while we slept in our beds unaware and undesturbed by dangers seen and unseen! We know that it was Your Hand who blocked death and distruction, determined to destroy the plans and destiny that You ordained for our lives before we exited our Mother’s womb! But we know that Hell can’t stop anything that Heaven Starts! For this cause we bow humbly thanking and praising You for being LORD of All Living, Salvation, Power, Peace, Provision, Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding!

Holy Father, we thank You for sending Your Son Jesus, to pay the debt that we owed for our sin, satisfying and justifying Your Righteous decree, making A Way for us to become Children of The Most High God by accepting the Sacrificial Atoning Blood of The Messiah, The Redeemer of our souls! We know that there was absolutely nothing we could’ve ever done to deserve such Amazing Grace and because of the unsearchable riches of Your Lovingkindness, we present our bodies as a Living Sacrafice, holy and acceptable to Thine Will as the only reasonable response to the weight of Your Glorious Benevolence!

Knowing that no man can come to The Father, lest You initiate the Covenant Relationship and that it’s the goodness of God that leads men to repent, we pray, Sweet Holy Spirit, that as Your Eyes roam to and fro throughout the earth, that You prick the stony hearts of those who are yet lost and blinded by the rulers of darkness of this unregenerated world, quicken them with a Spirit of Godly-Repentance, that causes them to hear and respond to Your High Calling with a “SINCERE YES LORD, what must I do to be saved?” Confident that it is not Your Will that any should perish and  be banished to a pit of eternal damnation and separation from You, we thank You for saving those souls who are crying out to You now. We thank You for rewarding the prayers of those who have deligently interceded on behalf of their family members, friends, co-workers, associates and even strangers that they’ve passed by, in Jesus Name, AMEN 3X!

Father, knowing that You are married to the backsliders, we lift up those who’ve been decieved by Satan into rejecting Your Word and Will for their lives, and turning back to the wicked ways of this sin-lusting world from which You have called them out!  Because of Your unrelenting Love and Mercy, cancel the plot of Satan and snatch them out of the snare enprisoning them, deliver their soul from every ungodly soul tie, rebuke the temptation and reprove the Tempter and Accuser of The Bretheren. Show him that You are Lord over all! Open the deao ears and break up the fallow ground of the rebellious and provoke a “COMMITTED YES” to erupt out of their bellys now that empowers them to come running back into Your Loving Arms, determined to live the rest of their lives serving You and reflecting The Wonder of Your Glorious Light  that it causes all those who they come into contact with to envy the new life that can only be realized through developing a personal relationshp with The Master, Sustainer and Redeemer, Jesus Christ!
Jesus, Your Word says that every good and perfect gift comes down from The Father of Lights, therefore we must thankya for our spouses and children! While we are not perfect in ourselves, they are perfect for us because You chose to send them into our lives! We thank You for blessing our marriages! Inspite of the test and trials that we’ve experienced You continue to fit and bind this holy union in unconditional love, a generous readiness to forgive, not giving place to the works of the devil nor allowing others to cause division to what You have joined together!  We recognize that by keeping You as The Head of our household, assures that everything and everyone else will fall into  proper Divine Alignment!

Precious Lord, as we lift up our children, grand-children and great-grand children to a thousand generations before You today, we commit their lives to You, declaring and decreeing by faith that every scheme that Satan desires to inflict upon them is REPEALED AND CANCELLED immediately!We plead The Blood of Jesus over them wherever they go, entrusting them to Your Providential care! We come against untimely death, sickness and diseases, addictions, unnatural perversions, ungodly appetites, lustful desires and temptations! Abba Father, because we realize that You have a plan and purpose for their lives also, we have the blessed assurance that their steps and stops are being divinely orchestrated by Your eyes therefore, we release The Spirit of Truth and Excellence upon their spirit souls, minds and bodies that NO WEAPON THAT IS FORMED AGAINST THEM SHALL PROSPER, in Jesus Name Amen 3x!

Abba, we lift up every Bishop, Pastor, Overseer, Apostle, Evangelist, Preacher, Teacher Missionary, Deacon, musician choir director/member, praise team, liturgical dancer, usher and church member!Undergird them with Your Anointing and conviction to carry out their assignment, under the direction of Holy Spirit. Cover them as they go in and out amongst Your people and those who would seek to discredit, hinder and even destroy their faith, faithfulness and ministry, You have ordained!

As You Sovereignly Rule and Reign over the affairs of mankind, we’re praying for the leaders of our nation, government, corporate, judicial, educational, health care providers and every arena of our society! We’re asking You to touch their minds and infiltrate their hearts with a Godly Fear, speak to them in dreams and visions alerting let them that The Government Rests Upon Your Shoulders and You Who Sit Enthroned Above the Heavens are keeping record of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly!
Endow the hearts of Your people with a peace that surpasses all understanding and a confident expectation that our times are in Your Hands and regardless of the deceitfulness of this world, You have promised to protect, provide and preserve the righteous who trust and obey Your Word! We ask that You continue opening the eyes of our understanding so that Your people are not easily deceived by those who would desire to entrap Your elect in bondage to anything which You have delivered us from! In Jesus Name, Amen 3x!
Father, we believe that as we’re praying,You are touching our brother, our sister whose body has been afflicted by all manner of sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, strokes, heart attacks, kidney failure, liver disease, mental and emotional issues! We intercede on behalf of all those undergoing surgical procedures, those in recovery rooms. We’re praying for those who’re on life-support systems, not knowing that they’re even in this world! We’re declaring and decreeing that as we’re praying You’re walking through every ward, touching, healing, delivering, miraculously rebuking fatigue, mistakes, mishaps, misdiagnosis and premature death for Your Name Sake!\

We plead the Blood of Jesus, declaring and decreeing You are Alpha and Omega, the same yesterday, today and forever! Even as You walked in this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re Well Able to do the same right now! Lord Jesus, Your Word declares that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up!

Holy Spirit, help us to remain faithful and keep a Kingdom mindset, relying on You to go before us and make our way prosperous. We believe You are dispensing overwhelming Favor, Prosperity, Peace and when these blessings are manifested, help us to walk in a spirit of humility giving Your Name all the Glory, Honor and Praiz!

We bind every wicked scheme that the enemy desires to assail against us declaring that we are well able to take possession of every promises that You’ve made to us! We pray for total deliverance from every cord that would bind Your people and come against our God -ordained Destiny! We rebuke the enemies of our minds, thanking You that nothing can stop the blessings or us from performing the greater works You have assigned to the covenant saints! We thankya for the courage and patience to stand, steadfast, consistent, always abounding in the work of our LORD!

We pray for consoling strength for all who have lost loved ones, rebuke the demons of the minds, and emotions, disappointments, restore power, love and sound minds, hope and the JOY of Your Salvation. Help us to understand that because we are royal priests, a holy nation unto You, failure is not final and our victorious testimonies shall provoke envy of other nations who have not submitted to The True God but who yet serve false gods!

Father as we wait in confidence and quietness, we rejoice in hope, trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shameful defeat, terrified because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Abba Father, we boldly stand in agreement with You Who hears and answers our prayers, and forgives our transgressions! Holy Father, our souls are strengthened as we shout with joy unto The One to Whom all men will come!

Father, bowing in reverent obedience, before The Hope of all the Earth, we thank You NOW, for WE believe that it is done! In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen 3X and It Is So!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT JESUS LOVES EVERYBODY!

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.  Psalm 20:7

Well! Well! Well! Here we go again, huh? America is waking up the morning after The Mid-term Elections! And once again, it depends on which side of the aisle your heart is seated on whether you’re  absolutely delighted or definitely discouraged. Now I know, according to some, it’s socialally irresponsible to mix politics with religion! Or was that waaayyyy backndaday? Needless to say, those of you who know me, already know that I’m generally much to real for a whole lotta folk, so can we jus talk?

Has anyone (besides me) evrrr jus wondered how so many of our caucasian (and those few Afro-American) evangelical bretheren could be such staunch supporters of #45 and at the same time profess their absolute devotion to The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? #ohnoshedidn’t! OH YES I DID! Honestly, to me, this scenario in itself seems nothing short of paradoxical! #ijs!!!

Now for you legalistic dogmatic religious enthusist who’re already looking at me some kinda way, I know that the Bible says, “Judge Not, lest Ye BE JUDGED”! (Ref. Matt. 7:1) There’s also another scripture that says, ““He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her! (Ref. John 8:7) please  allow me a few moments of  ‘senior folly’! I’m merely suggesting an alternative prospective for your  momentary consideration! Done lost ½ my church already, huh?

God, not willing that His children be ignorant of the enemy’s devices, has so graciously allowed anyone of us who lacks wisdom the privilege to merely ask Him! (Ref. James 1:5) 

Hence, last nite, I was awakened from my slumber, hearing the TV, that being my custom,  tuned into a very popular Religious Cable Network , and lo and behold I was enlightened! Much to my surprise, there was a partaa going on among some of the most prominent elite wealthy evangelical preachers who having graced this  humongous Red/White/Blue Flag drapped stage, were stirring up this large coliseum filled with GOP advocates! Now, the reason that this seemed strange,ly awkward was because before I drifted off to sleep, those who were broadcasting and analyzing the results of the evening’s nationwide election activities had just reported that “The DEMS HAD TAKEN THE HOUSE BACK”! But as I listened further, I heard that #45 was congratulating himself  (and Nancy Pelosi) because the “GOP had maintained CONTROL OF The Senate!” NOW I GUESS THAT’S WHAT U CALL BREAKING NEWS, huh?  Suddenly,   someone on the stage daring  to state the OBVIOUS cried out “AMERICA IS POLARIZED!”  #uthink??? 

Ahhh Shucks! Nah, I’m not always the shiniest penny in the pocket, BUT…I could’ve told ’em dat a long time ago!  GUESS NOBODY ASKED ME, right?

But, the epiphany didn’t jus stop there! As I continued listening to ‘the WORDS DAT WERE COMING OUT OF HIS MOUTH’, IIIIII HHHEEEARRD, one of them say, “America was in a nationwide REVIVAL! Because they had followed the leading of the Lord in 2 Chronicles 7:14 by praying for the nation and supporting God’s designated 21st Century Cyrus, #45, who was bold enuff to finally set in order the things necessary to make AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, (open the way to reverse, Roe vs. Wade; keep illegal aliens out but keep NRA in place, and give RELIGION a much needed VOICE; ridding the nation of Obamacare while subsidizing THE WEALTHY at the expense of Social Security recipients; ignoring perversion, deception and manipulation while denying obvious racial injustice) THE RED WAVE WAS STILL IN PLACE! THEN...he SO eloquently and prolifically dropped da bomb announcing, that THE RED WAVE was symbolic of a THE BLOOD OF JESUS sweeping across this nation!  SERIOUSLY! #OMG! #WHO KNU, right?

BUT! CALL ME IDIOTIC OR BI-POLAR if U want, but I’m gonna stick with THE BOOK! LET EVERY MAN BE A LIAR AND GOD B THE TRUTH! TRUST2KNO2, THEY THAT WORSHIP HIM, MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUST! AS 4 ME AND MY HOUSE, WE SHALL CONTINUE 2 SERVE THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH! Datz my story and I’m sticking with IT!

Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God! GOTTA MOMENT! Incredible!

We so excited to have you join us today in our weekly Day of Corporate Fasting and Prayer. As we go before The Lord, please pray for the Saints everywhere! We understand that the enemy has launched a decree to destroy the Hope and Joy of God’s elect, particularly the next generation! But God says that the violent shall pursue, recover and conquer everything that God has given us. Our children are our gifts from God! The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but Mighty thru God for the pulling down strongholds.

MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS, BUT JESUS BLOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS. I DARE NOT TRUST THE SWEETEST FRAME. BUT! HOLY LEAN ON JESUS NAME! On CHRIST, THE SOLID ROCK, I STAND, ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND, ALL OTHER GROUND IS SINKING SAND! O, HOW I LOVE JESUS! O! HOW I LOVE JESUSSSSS, O, HOW I LOVE JESUS…BCUZ HE FIRST LOVED ME…WE’RE PRAYING, BELIEVING & DECREEING…

 

Abba Father, as we come before You today, In the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, we’re determined to rejoice, praise and thank You for blessing us to see 1 more day! Looking back, we know that it was no goodness of our own but solelyYour Faithful Love that has allowed us to be here to see the beginning of a new day that we’ve never seen or experienced! Because of Your Benevolence, we thank You, Father for another opportunity to embrace the outpouring and abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Father,  remembering, we bless You for the day that You opened our hearts enabling us to recognize and receive the saving Grace in the Life, Death, Burial and Resurrection of Your Son, Jesus! We acknowledge that because it pleased You, even though there was absolutely nothing in us lovable nor worthy of this honor and privilege, You called us to be Your very own children! Lord Jesus, we are eternally grateful that we’re here now only because You so purposed in Your Heart and by Your Own Hand!  And for this cause, we shall Bless Your Name at all times!

 

We’re thankful that even knowing our frame, Your Faithfulness and Compassion continuously provokesYou to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to every one of our need! Therefore, we shall never fail to acknowledge You Alone as The True and Living God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision!

Once, again, Heavenly Father, out of the sincerity of our hearts, that are being continuously open to, depending and relying solely upon You, we’re prazing You for it is in You that we live, move and have our very being!

Sweet Holy Spirit, we lift up all those who lives are and have been affected by the catastrophic hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, fires, floods and mountain-moving physical and spiritual landslides! Hold back the flood waters, rebuke the winds and bind the hand of death and destruction! Send hope, healing, deliverance and restoration wherever it’s needed! Loose Your legions of ministering agents to meet the needs of Your people, releasing blessings and breakthroughs into their lives! Bind the Spirits of Death, Poverty and Defeat!  Lord, let them know that these things are signs that Your Word is being fulfilled in real-time, how precious and fragile life is, therefore we must all prepare our souls for Your soon coming return!  In Jesus Name! 

And because no man can come close to the Father except You draw them, we pray that as Your eyes go to and fro through this earth searching the hearts of mankind, You draw and save the lost, reclaim every back-slider and direct their footsteps to the community of believers where they will be welcomed in Love, encouraged, strengthen, and taught Your Word, Way and Will that they may be vessels of honor, reflecting Godliness in the midst of this dark, fallen desperately wicked world! ir local church home today. As we pray, we’re believing that many of our unsaved loved ones and friends will be saved before the end of 2018 and will join our Eternal Family! In Jesus Name, AMEN 3X!
Abba Father, because we know that there’s no failure in You, we’re asking You to touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by all manner of sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, high/low blood pressure, heart disease, bone disease, premature development, kidney/lung failure, Altism, HIV, HPV, Herpes, Sickle Cell Disease, Alzheimer, Dementia, Bi-Polar, arthritis and every other satanically induced spirit of mental perversion, depression/oppression/addiction! We’re believing You to rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake!  Lord, YOUR infallable WORD has decreed that we were healed by the wounds in Jesus’ side and by the stripes that Jesus bore on His back, we have been redeemed  from the curse and penalty of SIN! We’re yet standing on Your Eternal Authority as Creator and Ruler of the Ages, that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Precious Lord, remember those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, those who’re experiencing broken marriages, financial lack, those rebellious children, those who are being victimized by domestic, physical, mental, sexual abused, those who are being overlooked, held down and even abused by racial/gender prejudice in the government, justice systems and the marketplace. We’re believing You to intervene on their behalf, exposing perpetrators, releasing miraculous Deliverances, Healing, Favor and Prosperity, unexpected promotions, opening up opportunities for entrepreneurship, book contracts, increasing education grants, lower interest mortgage rates, changing credit reports, canceling debts, establishing and overturning unfavorable medical prognosis and legal decisions to give us the victory that the world might know Who You are and what faith in God can do!

Lord, thank You for the testimonies that are going forth from every believer today, that as we stand beneath an Open Heaven and by faith holding on to Your Hand, You are releasing from the portals of The Throne Room, a double portion of Divine power, Supernatural Strength, Health, Provision, Prosperity and Protection. Help us to understand that because we are royal priests, a holy nation unto You, failure is not final and our victorious testimonies shall provoke envy of other nations who have not submitted to The True God but who yet serve false gods!

Lord, we’re believing You to preserve Your elect thru every tests that we go thru! Keep us constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE, fully-confident that You shall bring everyone of us out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed, possessing the rewards as You have promised in Your Word!

Heavenly Father, we lift up our political, social, judicial, business, religious leaders, trusting You to shake up their hearts that they might FEAR You  as King of kings and Lord of lords!! Grace them to be the holy humble servants and examples in their homes, marketplace, communities and churches that will cause those who are in their sphere of influence to love, trust and live everyday of life serving and glorifying You, Our Heavenly Father!

Abba Father, as You have taught us to speak life, we declare that You will cover our babies in daycare, our children in schools, colleges and universities, our families on their jobs, in nursing homes, hospitals, treatment centers, court rooms and prisons as they go out and come in and that nothing shall cut our lives short, but we shall live and not die  declaring the Wonderous Works of God! Thank You for the great things You have prepared for the people of God!

As we pray for our enemies, those who despitefully use us, help us to bless those who are bitter and speak evil of us that our faith may be a sign that we belong to you! We pronounce blessing, joy, peace, favor upon all who trust You, as You prepare a table before our enemies!

Abba Father, we pray that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, failure, rejection, hopelessness and disappointment, doubt, confusion and anxiety be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Clarity is being released now! We’re trusting that each morning Your children will awaken empowered with assuring grace to accomplish every assignment and sleep peacefully every nite, confident of earnest hope-filled tomorrows! in Jesus Name!

Father, we know that there’s so many other things that we could’ve, should’ve prayed for and about, however, because You are our Great High Priest, interceding on our behalf, You’re able to intercept and interpret every moan, groan and sigh coming from our spirits and fix it Jesus! 

In closing, we thank, honor and praise You NOW, BELIEVING that every request and supplication that has been set before you today…IT IS DONE! IN THE EXALTED NAME OF JESUS THE CHRIST! AMEN 3X!

Now, every soul that is standing in agreement, SEAL THIS PRAYER BY ENCOURAGING ONE SOMEBODY, LETTING THEM KNOW THAT JESUS SAVES AND CARES!

Then we’ll be ready for HIM when HE appears, ready to receive Him with open arms, with no cause for red-faced guilt or lame excuses when He arrives. Once you’re convinced that he is right and righteous, you’ll recognize that all who practice righteousness are God’s true children. 1 JOHN 2:28-29 THE MESSAGE

 
It jus might surprise you! One of the greatest deterrents to advancing The Kingdom of God in the earth is not ‘da devil’ BUT ‘Shallow Christians’! What is that, you ask. Well they’re not that hard to recognize. In fact, they’re probably your pew partners. Whhhaaaa? #ikr! While they confess their faith in The Lord Jesus, their walk does not line up with their talk, and as a result, most likely they’re confusing many who’ve yet to invite Christ into their lives as their personal Savior and Lord!

OOOHHH Yessss I did go there! I know how churrch-folk are adamant about not judging, right? But, for your own safety,  check da BOOK!  #Seriously! The Bible says a tree is known by the fruit it bears! More importantly, GOD knows those who are His! (Ref. 2 Timothy 2:19)

Without a doubt, the preaching and teaching of this Gospel of Christ is still the best way to get souls saved, but sometimes His PR staff could use a refreshers course on what it means to live deeply in Christ!

Rest assured, God is not mocked! (Ref. Galatians 6:7) While we might impress some people with our 11:00 A.M. Sunday morning tongue-talking, pew hopping, propha-lyin, shout’n and danc’n, GOD KNOWS the difference between those who are faking it ’till they make it and those who freely rejoice in the mercy, compassionate, longsuffering, unconditional Love of The Heavenly Father, yet acknowledge that sometimes they miss the mark and have yet to reach perfection!

While shallow christians hide behind shameless excuses to continue to satisfy their ungodly cravings, when a true child of God is convicted by Holy Spirit, they will be quick to repent of willful or unwillful sin!  GOD KNOWS those who are genuinely striving everyday to mortify the deeds of their wicked flesh and live a life that pleases HIM… even to their own hurt! After all, we are living epistles! It’s our holy lifestyle  that will advertise and promote the True Answer to mankinds’ most dire and desperate need–THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD, JESUS CHRIST!

I am by no means suggesting that this is easy nor is it a one and done thang! But God already took care of that too. He sent your Guardian, Holy Spirit, to live inside of you to teach and empower you to say NO to sin and YES to righteousness!

Sometimes, it looks like Satan is gaining the upper hand, huh?  Beloved, don’t fall for the devil’s tricks and please don’t blame God! TRUST2KNO, God ain’t scarred! Remember what happened when Jesus went to Hell, snatched the keys from his puny hands and got up proclaiming, ALL POWER IS IN MY HANDS? (Ref. Revelations 1:17-18)

God is raising up an army of disciples that no man can number; building a new nation of trusting believers who will obey His Voice; hewing out a community of courageous Believers who’re not ashamed to live righteously in the midst of darkness as a monument to HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, POWER AND MAJESTY!

Examine yourself? REPRSENT JESUS? LIVE DEEPLY? SHALLOW SAINT? #WOW!
