THURSDAYS’ PRAYERS

PRAYN AND FASTING PIC

SELAH Daily Devotions!

Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God!  GOTTA MOMENT?

Once again, we are delighted to invite you to join us today, Thursday, in our Corporate Day of Fasting and Prayer. AS WE ENTREAT HIS MAGNIFICENCE PRESENCE, WE’RE BELIEVING THAT HE’S LEANING TOWARDS OUR HEARTS CRY, ANXIOUSLY AWAITING THE OPPORTUNITY TO REWARD OUR FAITH WITH MERCY AND GRACE! Shall we pray…

‘Abba Father, it is with xceedingly great joy and praise that we come before You today, In the Exalted Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Father, we are so grateful for Your blessing us to see one more brand new day which allows us another opportunity to embrace and enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy,Grace, Presence, Power and Peace!

We bow humbled by Your Lovingkindness towards us, acknowlege that it is only because of Your Loyal Love that we have been chosen and adopted into Your Royal Family! Now You are our Heavenly Father, our Salvation, Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision!

We know that You are The Only True and Living God because NO ONE BUT U could demonstrate Your faithfulness and compassion. Knowing our frame, yet You continue to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities, SEE AND FORGIVE us, and minister to all of our need! None but You, Father is able to touch us like You do, renewing our strength, understanding and empowering us to come boldly, confidently and trusting that You hear our prayers, petitions and supplications eminating from a heart completely open to, depending and relying only on You! And for this we bless Your Holy Name!

Daddy, we ask that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of everyone, that you draw and save the lost, reclaim every back-slider, direct their footsteps, place and settle them into a church home today that You have ordained where they may be lead, fed, instructed, encouraged and disciplined IN THE WAYS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, that we might be developed into usable and useful vessels of Honor for YOUR KINGDOM!

Lord, we’re thanking You now for their faith that produces changed lives. We ask You Father, to help them know what You want from and for them. We ask you to give them their own personal relationship with You that they may gain spiritual understanding and help that enables them to life for You. Give us more know of WHO YOU ARE that we might be strengthen to endure whatever hardships that will come our way.

Jesus, we ask that You fill us with Your Joy, Strength, Hope and Thankfulness that we may love, comfort and uplift others as You have so graciously poured out upon us. We pray Lord Jesus, that we always remember who, what and where we were before You opened our eyes and allowing Your Brilliance to be revealed to our hearts. For your words admonishing us that lest we forget that and judge others by their actions without judging our selves first!

Father, we’re praying that even as we’re praying, thatYou will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the foul spirit of cancer, diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, high/low blood pressure, arthiritis and depression– rebuke and cast it out at its root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, your Word declares that your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, we pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, trusting that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength, consolation, health, provision, prosperity and protection. Preserver them thru the tests that they must go thru and keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and stand still, fully-confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word.

We lift up our spiritual leaders, asking a special blessing upon each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit. We pray that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love, trust wholly in your enabling power to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

Father, we’re lifting up our children, our children’s children by faith, committing them into Your care, realizing that you have a plan and purpose for their lives too; we have the blessed assurance that their steps are being ordered by Your eyes!

We’re asking you Father, to stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name so that they will have a desire for an even greater personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through the study of Your Word and the fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Heavenly Father, we know that You Sovereignly Rule and Reign over the affairs of mankind, therefore, we bless you and thank you for President Obama and his family. We thank you now that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper.

Father as we pray, we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of temptation, addiction and fear be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness be released now, in Jesus Name!

Father we wait in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame, turning their backs from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, I thank You, honor and praise You now, for I believe that it is done!  In The Precious Name of Jesus. Amen and It Is So!’

SELAH Daily Devotions!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you. Isaiah 43:2-4

Time is hurling towards Eternity at the speed of life! And sometimes, life comes at you hard, fast and furious, huh?.

I mean, it can’t actually be 21 years ago? I blink and I’m sitting at my daughter’s bedside in the L & D Unit, only slightly aware of her antagonistic glares, but not the least bit daunted away from my mission. Time after time, warning her of each impending contraction (as if she really needed to hear me tell her).

Was it really that many hours past before the birth of the most beautiful baby girl this side of heaven, Lil’ Miss Dasia? I can still summon up that joy and sheer magic just witnessing this small Wonder of God’s Glory. It can’t be 21 years ago or can it? One moment, she’s sitting on the front steps waiting for Pop-Pop; her first starring role in a kindergarten play; going to the Senior Prom; crossing the stage receiving her High School Diploma; packing up the car; going off to college and now few months shy of graduation…WOOOAH! I guess it must be, huh?

We treasure memories like those, right? Nobody expects those unannounced choatic interruptions. I mean; like waking up the morning refreshed, satiated in anticipation of what adventures are waiting to be unfolded during the course of this new day; totally oblivious to the impact of that 11:49 mid-day phone call, that 5:22 rush-hour accident on the Beltway, or that 2:15 a.m. Police knocking at your door, invading your normal routine everyday as usual life in a way you never thought possible!

Suddenly! By the time your head hits the pillow again, every ounce of hope has been ripped out of you, fleeing to a place waaaaay beyond reach. That peace you enjoyed earlier that day somehow has become lost in the maze of extreme anxiety, depression, and hapless desolation. While something inside of you wonders, was that this morning?

Life has a way of slapping you smack-dab-in the middle of your face, no matter how strong you may think you are. There’s no way to be prepared for something like this, saved-sanctified-Holy Ghost filled or not! Yet not one of us is exempt from the threat of drowning in an unexpected out of the blue situation. And of course, The Tempter doesn’t miss any opportunity to exploit our crisis and destroy our faith in what we do know.

The Israelites faced a similar dilemma in 2 Chronicles 2:12. Surrounded by their enemy with no way out, King Jehoshaphat did the only thing he could do, he cried out to The Lord. “O our God, wilt Thou not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that cometh against us, neither know we what to do; but our eyes are upon Thee.”

Hopefuly, we all can glean from this example. Challenged by those “we don’t know why or what to do situations”, focus on what you do know! We do know WHO!

We know God is yet God! We know God is Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient! We know God is Ruler of All Creation! We know God is in complete control! We know He’s always Present with us and that All Power Belongs to God! We know God knows everything about everything! We know His love is unconditionally faithful and irrevocably established forever! We know He’s Solemnly committed Himself to caring, comforting, protecting and restoring our righteousness, peace and our joy!

Don’t get lost in the quarry of the unknown. STICK WITH WHAT YOU KNOW!
