SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:13-14

Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you;He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. Isaiah 55:22

 

While glancing back at the TV screen on my way into the kitchen one morning, I couldn’t help but hear this early morning’s breaking news report that sometime during the nite, while most of us slept in the comfort and safety of our homes, a group of bomb-strapped terrorist had stormed into a Pakistani school house killing over 120 people, including a number of 1st to 6th grade students, teachers and anyone else who crossed their sight lines!  Filtering my hearing to the commentator, he continuied on saying that Isis had proudly stepped up, acclaiming responsibility for this heinous act in retaliation for a previous attack against their forces!

After reminding myself again, why I’m not an avid news watcher, I came up stairs to ask my husband whether or not he’d heard about it, and he had. Almost simultaneously, both of us asked “What is this world coming to”? ” It’s as if nothing is sacred, nothing is restricted by basic human morality!

Suddenly, the Holy Spirit cut into our conversation; “The End!” I repeated, as if the light had just been cut on. “The End!” The world, as we’ve known, is coming to an end,  in live and living HD color! Who nu? The 21st century generation would be eye witnesses to the actualization of the antiquated prophetic utterances of God’s servants.

I found myself praying, “Lord, as Pastors, preachers, teachers, evangelists, your servants, what are we supposed to do? How can we continue to preach trust and hope to comfort and encourage your people surrounded by the presence of lawless gross darkness? Especially when we ourselves are fainting, wearied, overwhelmed and being choked by the cords of cares and chaos!”

The Holy Spirit interrupted my self-induced saga; “Tell them about JESUS! After all He is The Only Hope of the World! Preach, JESUS! The Eternal Light that yet shines out of the darkness. Remind them that all these things MUST be before The Kingdom of God ushers in The New Life! Hail to the scattered sheep that NOW is the time for Salvation! Warn them that time is winding up, spiraling intently towards eternity and NOW is the time to prepare to meet their Master in peace; for He could show up at any minute!”

“Encourage your fellow-sojourners to take full advantage of these days, not trembling in fearful foreboding but celebrating God all day, every day!”

Suddenly my mind drifted back to the wisdom of those ol’ skool Churrch Mothers! ‘Babygurl, you need to wear this world like a loose-fitting overcoat, that you can drop off at a moment’s notice!’ That was their way of reminding us that we are not home yet! We’re still passing through this barren land on our way to Heaven!

Beloved, if all your hope is wrapped up in what you can collect, seeking man’s approval and striving to attain society’s standard of success, then my precious one, the best you can expect to see in this world is constant decadence of morality and amplified misery. But as The Redeemed, we have an resounding advantage over those who are yet in darkness. GOD IS STILL GOD!

Hence, God is not surprised at anything that’s happening! He Reigns Supreme Ruler over ALL His Creation, astutely aware and actively involved in the intrinsic detailed affairs of man-kind! And to top it all off, God loves us with an Everlasting Love that compassionately invites us to come boldly before His Throne daily to find Hope AND Help in HIS Mercy and Grace!

“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast ,and which enters the Presence behind the veil…” Hebrews 6:19a

Therefore, Beloved, we do not give up HOPE! BUT!  As believers in The Testimony of Jesus Christ, we eontend for the faith, waiting patiently in earnest expectation, resting in quiet confidence and believing to see that THE ONE WHO HAS PROMISED IS FAITHFUL TO PERFORM!

Didjaheardat? WOW! WEIGHT ON THE LORD!

GOOD MORNING FAM! GOTTA MOMENT? AWEMAAAZING!

Once again, we’re ecstatic that you’ve joined us in Thursdays’ Corporate Fasting and Prayer. As we entreat the Ambiance of El Elohim on behalf of the inhabitants of this world, we approach His Throne of Mercy and Grace in humble obedience, rejoicing in hope that as He searches our hearts and hears the words of our mouths that they will be pleasing and acceptable in His Sight!

My Hallelujah Belongs to You! MY Hallelujah Belongs to You! My HALLELUJAH Belongs to YOU! MY HALLELUJAH BELONGS TO U! You Deserve It! YOU Deserve It! You DESERVE It! ALL of The Glory Belongs to You! All of The GLORRRAAAA Belongs to You!  ALL OF THE GLORAAAA BELONGS 2 YOU! You Deserve It! You Deserve IT! YOU DESERVE IT… Shall we pray…
Our Father, Creator and Sustainer of Heaven and Earth, we are delighted for one more day that You have blessed us to enjoy life filled with Your Wonder, Grace and Mercy towards us. Knowing that while we were yet walking according to the ways of this fallen world, You called us by name and chose us to become sons and daughters of The True and Living God! Therefore with nothing in our hands to warrant such Loving-Kindness, we bow gratefully before You now, declaring that You Alone, Abba Father, are our personal Savior and Lord! We thank You for watching over us as we rested safely in Your Providential Care, shielding us, our families and friends from danger, death and eternal destruction! For this cause we shall never fail to give Your Name Honor, Glory and Praise!
Heavenly Father, we ask that You  forgive us for every word uttered, thought intercepted or act performed that was offensive to Your Holiness! It is our heart’s sincere desire that You will sanctify our spirits, soul and bodies! Cleanse our hearts and our minds in The Precious Blood of Jesus Christ that we may live out our lives exemplifying the benefits of such a Loving Father, in a manner that shall provoke this lost and dying world to covet a personal relationship with You! In Jesus Name, Amen 3x!

Sweet Jesus, we thank You for being our Great High Priest, who continuously intercedes on our behalf to The Heavenly Father. We know that it’s only because of Your willingness to sacrifice Your Life for ours that we have been redeemed, restored and empowered by Holy Spirit to perform those good works that have been Divinely predestined and purposed for our lives from the foundation of this world. We pray that as You search us and find those areas of our lives where we are tempted to over rule Your promptings that You will uproot them, renewing our hope, strengthening our faith, giving us an abundance of Godly Wisdom, Understanding and Power that revives our determination to completely surrender our will to Thine!

Abba Father, because no man can come close to You, except You draw them, we pray that Your Blood-Stained Eyes will continue to search the hearts of mankind, blessing all those who are crying out to You now! We’re interceded on behalf of every unsaved soul, asking Lord that You quicken the Spirit of Godly-repentance in their hearts and in their minds that they will come to you today and say a sincere ‘YES’ to Your Grace Gift and urgently receive You today as their personal Lord and Savior!

Eternal Father, we ask You to fill the hearts and minds of every backslider with a fresh ‘Committed YES’ and let this day be the day that they come back to You and come back to YOUR church! We’re declaring, decreeing and believing that many of our unsaved loved ones and friends will be saved before the end of 2017 and will become part of our Eternal Family! In Jesus Name Amen 3x!

Father, touch our brother, touch our sister whose bodies have been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, high/low blood pressure, heart disease, kidney, lung failure, satanically induced depression/oppression/addictions and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake! Lord, we’re holding on to the Infallible WORD which decreed that the stripes that Jesus bore on His back has already redeemed and healed us! Therefore, under the Eternal Authority of our Divine Creator and Ruler of the Ages, invested in us,  we also declare that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, as we intercede on behalf of our brother and sisters, whose hearts are filled with anxiety, hopelessness and fear for what lies before us under the new leadership of our nation, we pray that You will give us a confident Hope, unspeakable Joy and a Peace that surpasses all understanding! Father, reassure us that You have sworn by God-Self to never ever leave us nor forsake us! You have promised to always remember those who are being overlooked, held down and even abused by undeniable racial prejudice in this country and throught this ungodly-world. We’re believing You to intervene on our behalf, releasing miraculous Favor and Prosperity, unexpected promotions, opening up opportunities for entrepreneurship, increased education grants, lower interest mortgage rates, debt cancellations, book contracts and overturning unjust legal decisions giving Your people triumphant victory!

Lord, we’re praying that You are comforting every wearied soul who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, reassuring them that from the portals of The Throne Room,You are releasing a double portion of Your overflowing Divine power, Supernatural Strength, Health, Provision, Prosperity and Protection Proving Yourself to be our Jehovah Jareh, who shall supply all of our need according to Your Riches in Glory!

Lord, as we’re praying, we’re thanking You for preserving Your elect in the midst of every tests and trial as we continue looking towards the hills, knowing from whence our Help comes and crying out “Send now Prosperity from Zion”! Father, keep us constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE, fully-confident that You shall bring everyone of us out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed, restored and recovering every reward as promised in Your Word!

Abba Father, we thank You for comforting and assuring us that regardless of who is seated in the oval office, congress or supreme court, YOU ARE ETERNALLY SEATED ABOVE THE CIRCLE OF THE EARTH AND ABSOLUTE POWER BELONGS TO YOU!

Therefore, in faithful obedience, we lift up the political, social, judicial, business, religious leaders, trusting You to visit them in the nite seasons with visions and dreams and touching the hearts of each one of them, instilling them with a Godly-Fear and Holy Awe to work out their own salvation knowing that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that You Are King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Grace them, Jesus, to be the holy humble examples in their homes, marketplace, communities and churches that will cause those who are in their sphere of influence to love, trust and live everyday of life serving and glorifying You, Our Heavenly Father!

Holy Spirit, as we pray, we’re believing that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, failure, rejection, hopelessness and disappointment be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit Love, Joy, Peace, Power and a Sound Mind is being released now, in Jesus Name! We’re trusting that each morning Your children will awaken empowered with assuring grace to accomplish every assignment and sleep peacefully every nite, confident of earnest hope-filled tomorrows! In Jesus Name, Amen 3x!

Lord, we wait in confident quietness, trusting wholly that suddenly, every worker of iniquity is trembling in fear, shame and defeat, running away from Your people, knowing that in spite of their threats, You have heard the voice of our weeping and our supplications and You have received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, we thank, honor and praise You NOW, BELIEVING that every request, inquiry and supplication that has been set before You today…IS DONE! IN THE EXALTED NAME OF JESUS THE CHRIST! AMEN 3X!

Now, every soul that is standing in agreement, SEAL THIS PRAYER BY ENCOURAGING ONE SOMEBODY, LETTING THEM KNOW THAT JESUS CARES!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

“And said to his servant, go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up and looked, and said. There is nothing. And he said, go up again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, behold there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, go up, say unto Ahab. Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain.”(1 Kings 18:43-45)

 

It’s one thing to say that we trust God, but it’s how we endure the proving time that determines the genuineness of our trust!

Life inevitably includes interludes of pesty impositions I call ‘the dark times’! Like unexpected uninvited guest, trouble has a way of poppin in and staying way longer than we’d prefer! And to make matters more unsettling, it’s during these seasons that we’re most likely to experience times when all evidence to substantiate that God is still with you and any sign indicating that He’s even listening to your prayers is essentially non-existent!

Knowing personally, it’s not easy watching our children’s lives being ravished by sickness and their youthful dreams and ambitions dissipated by helpless hopelessness. But this is where the clichés that we so impressively sprout off to others are proven to be real or Memorex! Yet, it’s in the midst of the storms that God reveals His Best Handy Work! Who could’ve ever imagined that in spite of the dire forecast, The Son yet shines, leading and drawing us closer to Himself! Clearly, He’s determined, through any means necessary, to prove unequivocally that everything that the devil meant for evil, God can turn it around and make it work in our favor! (Ref. Romans 8:28)

Oh My! How my soul rejoiced that day, hearing that my son had given his life to The Lord during a bible study class the evening before! Little did I know that God would use this storm to woo him into seeking Him for himself positioning him for the miraculous showers of blessings that would follow! And most certainly, I never imagined as I was praying that God would stretch my faith and increase my knowledge of His Wisdom and Power, that I’d have to bury a son to experience a whole new level of God’s Sustaining Super-Grace!

The Prophet Elijah teaches his young protégé that even when we can’t see no way to escape the threat of emminent destruction, we can yet trust God’s Heart and His Hands. God’s vision is far greater than 20/20. It’s from eternity past to eternity future! God watches guardingly over us thru The Blood stained eyes of Jesus. And through confident trust and quiet patience we discover God’s Faithfulness!

Today, you may find yourself plagued by all manner of maladies. Many of God’s people being wounded and worn out by the insidious attacks of the enemies of God are losing hope for life getting any better. But remember, anything is possible with God! Troubles have a predesignated date of expiration; yet our prayers are eternal.

As people of Hope, instead of surrendering to the pressures of circumstantial evidence, we pray; committing ourselves and our circumstances to our Omnipotent, Omniscient Omnipresent Savior and Lord! Relying wholeheartedly upon His Love and the All-Sufficiency of His Grace to sustain and deliver us! As we pray, God intervenes in His designated timing, turning everything the devil meant for evil—for our greatest good and His Highest Glory! (Ref. 1 Chronicles 7:14)

Don’t allow the present darkness to deceive you. Could God be using the clouds to shield you from your enemies view, aligning you up for an unexpected miracle? (Ref. Exodus 13:21) I know it’s been a loonnnggg night, but don’t give up! They tell me, the darkest hour is just before the breaking of a new day.

Go take another look! See that? AFTER THIS, LOOK FOR THE GLORRAA!

GOOD MORNING FAM! GOTTA MOMENT? WOW!

We’re delighted to that you’ve joined us today in our Weekly Corporate Prayer and Fasting! We’re thankful that The Eternal King has so graciously allowed us to come before Him seeking refuge, rest and reassurance that HE YET REIGNS 4 EVER & EVER! As we enter into His Presence with hope-filled expectancy, casting all of our care upon HIM, we’re confident that HE is FAITHFUL 2 REWARD OUR TRUST!

HERE’S MY CUP LORD! I LIFT IT UP LORD! COME AND QUENCH THIS THIRSTING OF MY SOUL! BREAD OF HEAVEN, FEED ME ‘TIL I WANT NO MORE…HERE’S MY CUP, I LIFT IT UP COME MAKE ME WHOLE… 4 HERE WE ARE TO WORSHIP, HERE WE ARE TO BOW DOWN, HERE WE ARE TO SAY THAT YOU’RE OUR KING! YOU’RE ALTOGETHER LOVELY, ALTOGETHER WORTHY, ALTOGETER WONDERFUL! SHALL WE PRAY?

Father in Heaven, here we are before you again. We come today with outstretched arms, open hands and yielded hearts, so grateful for this day. We know that because of Your Grace and Mercy You have allowed us to enjoy one more day of life, health and strength. We’re thankful for another opportunity to present ourselves as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto You. We’re trusting You to provide everything that we need today to sustain us thru whatever challenges that unfold during the course of this day, knowing that You Alone are our God, Guard and Guide.

We ask Holy Spirit, to intercede on our behalf, our family, our friends, even our enemies. Lord, we stand humbly before Your Sovereignty, asking you to forgive us for everything that we, your children, have spoken, done and thought that was not pleasing in Your sight.

We thank You now because You have assured us that if we would confess our sins, You, Heavenly being Faithful and Just will forgive us, and wash us in The Precious Blood of Jesus, cleansing us from all unrighteousness, and restoring the breach that our disobedience has caused between our poor souls and our Lord and Savior, Jesus!

Father, with eternal gratitude we bless You for allowing us to boldly enter into Your Throne Room, confident that you will entreat us graciously as we pour out the burdens that seem to overwhelm our hearts, releasing everything that concerns us into Your Hands. Lord Jesus, we know that You are Omniscient, Omnipresent, You see and You already know everything about everyone of us, yet You continue to invite us to come to you, and find Grace and Mercy to comfort, strengthen and encourage us to hold on to every Word that You have spoken over our lives, before we were born!

Abba Father, we know that You have instructed us, to look not at the temporary things, but to the eternal, yet You know the frailness of our flesh, and how easily we’re provoked and tempted to become overwhelmed by the cares of this world, that our hearts are burdened with the pressures of this life, and some of us are wearied with fear, worry, doubt, unbelief, sickness and disease, financial debt, broken relationships, unprovoked threats, depression, addictions, insecurities! You know that when our days are spent beneath clouds of evil foreboding and our nites are plagued with restlessness, despondency and hopelessness that it’s difficult for us to recognize that You are yet watching over Your Word to perform it and to shield us from the tormentor’s threats of destruction and death!

Lord we pray that You will save, heal and deliver us speedily by Your Mighty Hand! Give us to know that because we belong to You, we are never too far that You can’t see or reach us! We’re so grateful that You are forever shielding us from anything that the devil would rail against us. Help us to understand that Your Name, Jesus is a Strong Tower, and the righteous who run into it and are saved!

Dear Lord, open up our minds and our hearts, filling us with Your Assurance, and confidence that at The Name of Jesus, every knee must bow and every tongue confess that You are Lord! Grace your children with hope-filled trust that You, Father have committed Your Word towards us that no weapon that’s formed us shall ever prosper and except You allow it, no trouble, test or trial can come near us!

Father, we thank you, for fully persuading us of Your Providential Presence and Power to turn everything around to work in our favor and to bring about exuberant testimonies and praizes of Your Eternal Magnificence, Honor and Glory!

Abba Father, we thank You now for listening to the hearts of everyone reading and praying with us at this moment. We thank you for hearing the hearts of those who have never trusted and accepted Your Son Jesus as Savior and Lord! We are thankful that Holy Spirit is quickening that stony heart now and as they come to You humbled by Your Lovingkindness, they are obediently surrendering their lives to You and receiving Your Mercy and Grace to save and transfer them into Your Kingdom Family!

As we pray, we’re trusting that You are leading and guiding them to the local church, planting them in Your Vineyard, where they shall be taught and transformed by Your Word of Life to take their position in The Kingdom of Heaven.

Father, we pray for the elderly, the widows, the caretakers, the downcast who have born the heat of the day, and all those who have pushed and prayed us through! Lord, give them sweet peace to know that their labor of Love is never in vain.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Heavenly Father, You have decreed that You are Alpha and Omega, the same yesterday, today and forever! Even as You walked in this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re Well Able to do the same right now! Lord Jesus, Your Word declares that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! Amen 3x!

Lord, we pray for every believer who’s struggling in their hearts, overwhelmed with fear, doubt and worry because of the things that are going on in our personal lives and in this ungodly world systems...NEVERTHELESS..DETERMINED to yet hold on to Your Hand by faith today! Lord Jesus we’re believing You to release Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection. Father, we’re trusting that You will preserve each and everyone of us thru the tests of temptation and trial; keep us constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE, POWER & PEACE! Bless us with a Holy Confidence that we are never alone, and never without Your Very Present Help and at the appointed time,You, will bring us out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised in Your Word!

Father, we’re thanking You for a bountiful outpouring of Your Divine Favor upon each and every one of Your children who are seeking employment, promotion, prompt approval for student/car/home loans and assure them that YOU are YET HE, Jehovah Jareh, who shall supply all of their need according to Your Riches in Glory!

Father we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, anxiety, perversionand addiction is defeated NOW because of Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness and Purpose is being released in the lives of Your people now, in Jesus Name!

Lord, we pray for the leaders of governments world-wide, because their hearts are in Your Hands, visit them in the night season and command them to do Your Will.

Abba, we lift up every Bishop, Pastor, Overseer, Apostle, Evangelist, Preacher and Teacher. Undergird them with Your Anointing to carry out their assignment, under the direction of Holy Spirit. Cover them as they go in and out amongst Your people and those who would seek to discredit, hinder and even destroy their faith, faithfulness and the ministry You have ordained.

Lord, there are so many other things, that we have yet to mention, but we’re trusting, believing You to fix it, Jesus as only You can! As we offer us this prayer, we praise and thank You in advance, knowing that You are not just able, but willing to do anything that we ask, in accordance to Your Word, in Jesus Name! Amen 3x

Abba Father, we stand in agreement with You who hears ours prayers and forgives our transgressions! Holy Father, because You have chosen us and brought us near to live in Your House, we shout with joy unto The One to Whom all men will come! We bow in faithful obedience and reverence before The Hope of all the earth, believing that as Your face shines upon us that, You are making Your Ways and Salvation known among all nations for You Guide and Rule justly!

HOPE UNDER SEIGE!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them. I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul. Jeremiah 32:38-41

 

As a child, I vaguely remember a glimpse of pride swelling up inside whenever I heard someone say,‘this is the GREATEST nation in the world’! I suppose that’s what they mean by ‘let’s make this nation great…again, huh? But, that was before I became abruptly aware that there were two nations co-existing in one! #ijs

According to historical accounts, Courage and Confidence was once the hallmark of our nation! Yet, some say that the infamous catastrophic events of 911 has radically stripped away this lofty heritage and the hope-filled future legacy  that was once ascribed to the land of the power, peace and prosperity is now being besieged by the rampant rage of darkening clouds of an evil foreboding fear, doubt, anxiety, stress, guilt, shame, confusion and condemnation!

Well, it’s not my intent to debate the inevitable result of widespread deviation from the moral standards as defined by The Holy Bible. Howeverrrr, may I submit for your consideration, that without a holy reverence, a clear vision and a Divine impartation of understanding of WHO GOD IS & WHAT HE REQUIRES OF US, people’s strength will fail and their expectations of security perishes! The past has proven that without the restraint of law and order, destruction prevails! Well, like the ol’ skool preacha used to say, “I jus lost half my churrch!” Seriously?

Honestly, when we don’t understand Whose we are, we’ll be inclined to doubt God’s ability and even His willingness to help us. Void of genuine hope and unable to trust God’s Unfailing Love, we instinctively depend upon self to take care of our needs and satisfy the desires of our own hearts. And we all know how that turns out, right?

But those of us who dare to risk resentment, ridicule and rejection from those who will slander our righteousness, labeling us as unloving and intolerant, WE DEFY the prevailing opinions of the worldly in favor of the guidelines of the Ancient Landmarks, rejoice in hope, fully persuaded that if we suffer for Christ sake, we shall also reign with Him!  #CANIGETANGOODAMEN?

Through faith and hope, TRUE WORSHIPERS develop a singleness of -heart and mind, stemming from personal intimacy with The Lord Jesus Christ whereby we experience the Abiding Presence of God, trusting wholly in His Sustaining Grace!

Instead of conforming to the ways of the world, believers don’t bail out! Hence, in the face of the calamity and chaotic circumstances, we stand steadfast, rooted and grounded in The Promises, Provision and Power, persevering in the midst of devastation, famine and plagues, confident that we’re covered! Remember Goshen, God’s Protected Place? (Ref. Exodus 8:22)

Beloved, trust 2 know that when it looks like your world is falling apart, look again! Don’t allow fear to drain your faith! From Heaven’s perspective, everything is falling right in place!  Remember, Jesus has already gone into Tomorrow to prepare a table before you, right in the presence of your enemies! (Ref. Psalm 23:5) #Didjaheardat?

We’re delighted to have you join us in our Day of Corporate Prayer and Fasting! We’re know that prayer still works, Amen? As we call on our God, we know that He will give His ear to us and answer each and every request, showing the wonder of His great Love and saving by His Right Hand all who take refuge in HIM…shall we enter in?

BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP HIM! WORSHIP HIM, O WORSHIP HIM…BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP HIM; …CONSUMING FIRE; SWEET PERFUME…YOUR AWESOME PRESENCE FILLS THIS ROOM! THIS IS HOLY GROUND…ENTER IN…

Father in Heaven, here we are before you again. We come today with outstretched arms, open hands and yielded hearts, so grateful for this day. We know that it’s because of Your Grace and Mercy you have allowed us to enjoy one more day of life, health and strength. We’re thankful for another opportunity to present ourselves as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto you. We’re trusting You to provide everything that we need today to sustain us thru whatever challenges that unfold during the course of this day, knowing that You Alone are our God, Guard and Guide.

We ask Holy Spirit, to intercede on our behalf, our family, our friends, even our enemies. Lord, we stand humbly before Your Sovereignty, asking you to forgive us for everything that we, your children, have spoken, done and thought that was not pleasing in Your sight.

We thank You now because You have assured us that if we would confess our sins, You, Heavenly, Father being Faithful and Just will forgive us, and wash us in The Precious Blood of Jesus, cleansing us from all unrighteousness, and restoring the breach that our disobedience has caused between our poor souls and our Lord and Savior, Jesus!

Father, with eternal gratitude we bless You for extending Your Sceptor towards us, allowing us to boldly enter into Your Throne Room, confident that you will entreat us graciously as we pour out the burdens that seem to overwhelm our hearts and releasing everything that concerns us. Lord Jesus, we know that You are Omniscient, Omnipresent, You see and You already know everything about everyone of us, yet you have invited us to come to you, and find Grace and Mercy to comfort, strengthen and encourage us to hold on to every Word that You have spoken over our lives, before we were born.

Abba, we know that You have instructed us, to look not at the temporary things, but to the eternal, yet You know the frailness of our flesh, and how easily we’re provoked and tempted to become overwhelmed by the cares of this world, that our hearts are burdened with the pressures of this life, that some of us are wearied with fear, doubt, unbelief, sickness and disease, financial debt, broken relationships, unprovoked threats, depression, addictions, insecurities, and our days are spent beneath clouds of evil foreboding,; while our nites are plagued with restlessness, despondency and hopelessness

Lord, we pray that you will save, heal and deliver us speedily by Your Mighty Hand! Give us to know that because we belong to You, we are never too far that You can’t see us or can’t reach us! We’re so grateful that You are forever shielding us from anything that the devil would rail against us. Help us to understand that Your Name, Jesus is a Strong Tower, and the righteous who run into it and are saved.

Dear Lord, as we open up our minds and our hearts, please fill us with Your Assurance, and confidence that at The Name of Jesus, every knee must bow and every tongue confess that You are Lord! Grace your children with hope-filled trust that You, Father have committed Your Word towards us that no weapon that’s formed us shall ever prosper and except You allow it, no trouble, test or trial can come near us.

Father, we thank you, for fully persuading us of Your Providential Presence and Power to turn everything around to work in our favor and to bring about exuberant testimonies and praizes of Your Eternal Magnificence, Honor and Glory!

Abba Father, we thank you now for listening to the hearts of everyone reading and praying with us. We thank you for hearing the hearts of those who have never trusted and accepted Your Son Jesus as Savior and Lord! We are thankful that Holy Spirit is quickening that stony heart now and they are coming to You, humbled and obediently, now, receving your Mercy and Grace to Save.

As we pray, we’re trusting that You are leading and guiding them to the local church, planting them inYour Vineyard, where they shall be taught and transformed by Your Word of Life to take their position in The Kingdom of Heaven.

Lord, we are so thankful that You have declared that You are married to the backsliders! We ask You to drawn anyone who has been decieved by Satan and walked away from Your Face, prick their hearts with Godly-Repentance and a sincere longing to seek the comfort of Your Presence and rush to the safety of Your Loving Arms and the assembly of like-minded souls, committing the rest of their lives to being faithful servants of Your Kingdom!

Father, we pray for the elderly, the widows, the downcast who have born the heat of the day, and those who have pushed and prayed us through, Lord give them sweet peace.

Lord, we pray for the leaders of governments world-wide, because their hearts are in Your Hands, visit them in the night season and command them to do Your Will.

Abba, we lift up every Bishop, Pastor, Overseer, Apostle, Evangelist, Preacher and Teacher. Undergird them with Your Anointing to carry out their assignment, under the direction and strength of Holy Spirit. Cover them as they go in and out amongst Your people and those who would seek to discredit, hinder and even destroy their faith, faithfulness and the ministry You have ordained.

Lord, there are so many other things, that we have yet to mention, but we’re trusting that as You search the portals of our hearts, we’re believing you to fix it, Jesus as only You can! As we offer up this prayer, we wait in earnest expection, praising and thanking You in advance, knowing that not only are You able, but  You are also willing to do anything that we ask, in accorance to Your Word, in Jesus Name! Amen 3x

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Mark 10:21

 

This parable, commonly dubbed “The Parable of the Rich Young Ruler” is recorded in the each of the synoptic gospels. Most of the time when it’s preached, one of the first things that comes to our minds is “Oh shucks, here they go again trying to get my money”! But, hold on…there’s more meat to pick from that bone then our money!

As the scripture unfolds, Jesus is confronted by a young man running up to Him, kneeling down before Him, then asks Him a question. “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” In other words, ‘What can I do to be saved; what do I have to do to make Heaven my eternal home?” Jesus responded, ‘Why you asking me…the only one qualified to answer that question is God!’ And Jesus continues, ‘You know the commandments that Moses told you…you’re a Jew.’ And begins to quote from the 10 Commandments the 7th, 6th, 9th and the 5th Commandments.

Upon hearing this, the young man pompously proclaimes, ‘Oh that’s it, well I’ve been doing that since I was a kid, I’m straight then’. To which the Loving Shepherd responds, “One thing you lack; go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

The Bible teaches that when the rich young ruler heard these words, ‘he was grieved in his heart and went away sorrowful, because he had great possessions.’

Imagine that, ONLY One Thing! Now religious folk tend to think that Jesus was telling the rich ruler that his greed was enough to make him miss heaven. Some self-righteous others might say that his love of money outweighed his compassion for the welfare of his fellow human beings and that would disqualify him for heaven. However, might I offer, for your consideration, perhaps Jesus was trying to teach this young man (and what God is saying to us), is that the young man’s response was merely symptomatic of a greater issue—the failure to recognize the Lordship of Jesus Christ and a lack of trust in God’s ability to take care of him! WOW!

While it is true that those who have great riches, fame, influence are more likely to put their confidence in their money and in themselves than those who are impoverished and have to depend on The Hand of God for their daily bread, Jesus was not teaching, as some assume, that only those who are living in poverty, barely making it from payday to payday, can go to heaven! The Devil is a Liar!

However, could Jesus have been saying that it is virtually impossible for any man to be saved apart from God’s Mercy, Grace and Power? With men, it is impossible …but not with God! (Ref. Mark 10:27)

I believe each us can think of somebody that we know, who didn’t make it, but truthfully, it could’ve, it should’ve, it would’ve been me and you, BUT GOD! “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”1 Corinthians 6:11

None of us know what tomorrow holds for us, but as you advance to the close of our God-ordained destiny for 2018, arm yourselves with this mindset, “But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. (Ref. 1 Corinthians 9:27)

Hence, it behooves each of us to ask Holy Spirit to search our hearts, daily, and then give us enuff GRACE to let go of ‘that thang’ that He reveals to us that’s occupying the Throne of our hearts, reserved for God Alone! #ijs!!! #Didjaheardat? 

Remember, it only takes ONE THANG 2 EARN ETERNAL DESTRUCTION! BUT, THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT JUST ONE DROP OF THE SANCTIFYING BLOOD OF JESUS STILL WASHES US WHITE AS SNOW! WHATZ UR THANG? #COVEREDWITHMERCY&GRACE

“The rich get richer and the poor get poorer!” Ever heard that ol’ addage? I was thinking about the Wall Street moguls, sitting in penthouse corner offices, puffing on expensive cigars, bellowing out orders to their subordinates, (who’re most likely in some crowded rooms filled with discarded ticket tapes with the I-Phones glued to their faces) ‘Buy low; sell high’! ‘Buy now; sell it now’! We’ve seen Hollywood’s behind the scenes depictions of the ‘the powers that be’ conducting transactions that keep the big ballers on top and the rest of us clamoring to make ends meet!

Down thru the years, we’ve watched the rising and collapse of major financial institutions, heard stories of CEO’s jumping out of windows at the threat of bankrupty, the accusations and a few convictions of corporate corruption as a means to topple their competitors to gain or maintain ‘top dog’ recognition and witnessed the slander of whistle-blowers who dared to expose the tyranny of boardroom shenanigans all in the name of capitalism!

As you’ve probably determined, having no personal knowledge, experience nor a financial portfolio, I can only assume that there’s a whole lot of insider information involved that the rest of us are generally not privy to.

However, I do know a thing or two about Kingdom Economics! I know that God can do big things in tight places! How do I know, I’ve seen Him do it! I’ve seen Grand-Ma take a pound of chicken livers, mix it with a couple cups of rice, bake a pan of biscuits and turn it into feast to feed a family of fourteen! I’ve seen Mama mete out the equivolent of a two week paycheck over a month of expenses! I experienced the Hand of God drawing a spiritually drought, emotionally-hopelessly distraught, physically battered, single Mom into the Fountain of Life-giving Love, transforming her entire being in unimaginable ways from the inside out!
Oh don’t get it twisted! This was (is) not a one-and-done fix! But by the ever-increasing empowering Grace, we learn to lean and depend on the in-dwelling Presence of Holy Spirit. Who knu?

God is so determined to confound the wisdom of this world that He chooses those least likelys to be reflectors of His Glory! The greatest thing about the process, is that God is the One who begins and completes the work! Talk about guaranteed success, huh?

Ain’tdatamazing? Our Heavenly Father, already knew the frail-fickled-flaws of our flesh, yet before the foundation of the world, stragetically implemented His Plan to reconcile and restore those created in His image back unto God-Self through The Sacraficial Atoning Blood of His Son, Jesus! Now, God’s Spirit living on the inside of us enables us to live everyday shining His Light in the midst of the gross darkness of this world! That’s the Gospel of Salvation! WOW!

Sometimes, looking at ourselves and the surmounting circumstantial evidence, it’s easy to believe that your spiritual maturity is in the red and become discouraged, huh? BUT don’t give up! Remember, ‘Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.’ 1 John 4:4) Hence, God will never give up on you until He sees Jesus’ image in you!

Jus knowing that God loves you ‘despite of-just-because’ should make u grab hold to the Hope of His Divine Help and His Healing Presence, in confident humility and grateful obedience—until He completes His Work in you! #ijs #INSIDE ADVANTAGE!

Yep! Ain’t no getting around it, because it’s still The Eternal Word of God, huh? I’m talking about that pesty-provoking-pressure-on-our-pleasure, five letter word “pride”! As the ol’ skool preacher would say, ‘I jus lost ¾ of my church’! LOL!

If you’ve been saved more than 25 years, you’ve seen subtle transitions taking place in the Christian Community. I’m referring to the greater emphasis being levied on the side of accumulating creature comforts rather than developing Christian character. While, there’s no denying that our Heavenly Father delights in the prosperity of His children, He distinctly distinguishes His Prosperity Plan from the system of this world, by including ‘even as your soul prospers, huh? (Ref. 3 John 1:2)

Of course, we know that God’s Ways are not ours and we’re eternally grateful that His thoughts are not like our, huh? Yet, many a wandering wayfaring person has been drawn down to the altar, enticed by the lure of a prolific prophetic preacher, promising peace and prosperity. Although this message has elements of doctrinal truth, upon closer examination, it can dilute the integrity of basic biblical foundation! Hence, leaving some believers with lop-side expectations and ill-prepared to walk out their journey of faith.

The New Millennium Church has adapted to The Burger King mentality that says, ‘If I can’t have it my way, then I’ll hit the highway’! While that attitude may work at a fast-food chain, it won’t get you off the run-way in the Kingdom of God. The last time I caught a breath, Jesus was still LORD! Therefore, He has the right to expect loyalty, faithfulness and obedience from those He has created!

God knows that it’s difficult for flesh to be humble! That’s why HE put these flesh-killing scriptures in The Book! Yall know, flesh wants to set up its own kingdoms and not submit to anything or anyone. Flesh wants to dominate; to be in charge; have its own way; be right; be the best and not ever admit that ‘I’m wrong, not perfect, it’s my fault; I need help, forgiveness…or I don’t know what to do!

Flesh wants folk to come to us; look up to us; be admired and yes even envied! Flesh wants to be first in line following the Apostle, Bishop and the Pastors. Flesh wants to sit on the front row so it can be noticed—to go higher, IN THE LORD, of course!

We like to quote the scripture, ‘resist the devil and he’ll flee from you’, right? However, more often than not, we leave out the first part, ‘submit yourself to God...and then you’ll have the power to resist the devil’! OMG, does it really say dat? Indeed! In the Kingdom, the way up is down!

God says, ‘humble yourself’—BUT–IF YOU CAN’T, HE WILL HELP YOU! Chances are He’ll raise up a devil, a situation, a problem, a need, a national threat, a global economic collapse! Sometimes, He’ll allow trouble to come knocking at your door, your church, job, wallet to get your attention long enough for you to humble yourself and have to pray! God knows that as long as we’re living high-on-the-hog, we’re prone to spiritual amnesia and assume that He’s okay playing second fiddle! NOT!

The Kingdom of Heaven has it’s own stimulus plan and it ain’t about to change! The strength and power of God’s Covenant relationship with His people is based on the parties involved doing what they’ve sworn to do. The position of GOD is permanently filling space and time! Remember, HE IS GOD & U R NOT!

It’s a highway to Heaven, however you’ve got to be willing to take the low road 2 get there! As we yield our entire lives to GOD’ S WILL, WE SHALL REAP THE KING’S ETERNAL REWARDS! #THE PATH TO GLORAAAA!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 1 Peter 1:13-17
It’s been acclaimed by some Biblical scholars, that we, the New Millennium 21st Century Church Age, are the generation destined to witness the fulfillment of End-Time Biblical Prophecy!  I’m certainly not an expert of Eschatology, yet it’s no wide-stretch of the imagination, to speculate that we are INDEED living in times that try and even vex the very souls of the righteous.  2 Timothy 3:1-7’s description of these perilous times in the earth sounds far too indistinguishably-familiar to us who are expectantly awaiting The Second Coming of our Lord!

Much to Satan’s delight, Spirits of Terror, Fear, Apathy and Discouragement have crept into the minds and hearts of the people of God to such a degree that even ‘Seasoned–Saints’ are becoming weary in their well doing.  May I offer these words of  comfort and encouragement to you today? “DON’T GET IT TWISTED!   THE DEVIL AIN’T RUNNING NOTHING!!!

As our text decrees, this world is not our home, we merely sojourning thru this land ever mindful that GOD has reserved a special place which far exceeds anything we could dare imagine or hope for.

Much to the devil’s dismay, therefore, be it RESOLVED Our Eternal God is yet seated on HIS Throne.  HE has not nor will HE ever relinquish one iota of HIS GLORY to anyone or anything! 

Be it further RESOLVED, that absolutely Nothing that you’ve been thru, Nothing you’re going thru NOW should make you want to tuck tail and turn back to that life that you’ve been delivered from. Don’t limit your expectations of Our Omnipotent God to your experiences! What God has for you is always in front of you! Trust God, everything that  God has planned for your future won’t even fit in your past; so keep it movin’! 

OH YEAH, PLEASE CHECK THE BACK OF THE BOOK–YOU WIN!  GREATER IS COMING!
