There’s  a theme out there that an athletic company promoted, I know you’ve probably heard it…. JUST DO IT! Well can I share my spin on this whole thing. DROP IT! #GETIT? WELL,  JUS DO IT!

Okay, let me brake it down for you! Instead of rehearsing the dilemma over and over and over in your mind, replaying every scene, every detail, every ounce of pain, inch of failure, every second of disappointment, the depth of the hopelessness – Just Drop It!  Back-off from it. Make the decision, once and for all, I AM THROUGH WITH THIS – RIGHT NOW!  From this moment on, I am going to lean and depend on God to take care of this. 

I hearya! I’ve tried that! It’s easier said than done! I totally get it. But may I offer a suggestion for your consideration? Stop trying to do it yourself!  This might seem to be a strange concept, in a world that teaches independence, self-reliance, pull yourself up by your bootstraps!  But Saints of God, we must remember, first of all, we are in this world but not of it.  The Kingdom of God operates on principles and precepts that are diametrically antithetical to the world’s perspective! The WORD teaches us that God resists the proud but gives grace, strength and help to the humble. (Ref. James 4:6)  Hence, GOD never intended those who’ve turned the reins of their lives over to Jesus, trusting in His Saving Grace, to do life on our own! He sent us help, y’all! The Holy Ghost!  #TILT!!!!
 
Now, I already hear some you thinking, asking, but how? Here’s how!  Ignore it, show a lack of concern for that thing that the enemy is constantly using to torment you!  By acknowledging the Truth –because God cares for you, He’s watching over you and He knows exactly how to bring justice (all things working together for your highest good) into your life. (Ref. Romans 8:28)
 
Next, renew your mind!  Don’t take those negative thoughts, in other words–CONSIDER NOT ! ‘But, but…but how do I do this? ‘ It’s a lot simpler than you might think.  Just try it, think about a cat….see it…now think about a dog….what happened to the cat? 
 
Just think about something else!  Replace that negative thought with a positive one.  Think (set your thoughts, focus on something good, lovely, pure, honest, true, some thing that’s promised in the Word)! (Ref. Philippians 4:8)

Saints, when you intentionally apply GOD’S WORD to your life, it puts Satan in his rightful place! Under your feet! The Word of God tells the devil, “Ooooh H#### No!  It didn’t work the last time, devil and guess what? IT AIN’T GONNA WORK THIS TIME EITHER!” 

Got it? C’mon nah! Now, you pick it up! “AND… OH, BY THE WAY, GO TELL THE REST OF YOUR COHERTS THAT U R STILL A LIAR AND A THIEF! OBVIOUSLY YOU’VE FORGOTTEN. I DON’T BELONG 2 U ANYMORE,  REMEMBER! I BELONG 2 JESUS! THEREFORE, I’VE BEEN ANOINTED, AUTHORIZED AND APPOINTED BY THE LIVING WORD OF GOD TO RESIST YOU; THEREFORE I REFUSE TO ACCEPT YOUR NEGATIVE REPORTS!  AND GUESS WHAT? IF U KNOW WHAT’S GOOD 4 U, U’D GET OUTTA MY WAY! CUZ, I AIN’T FIX’IN 2 DO THAT THING U SAID I COULDN’T, I’M DOING IT!”

GREAT JOB!
 
Now, stop talking about it, stop picking the wound! LET IT GO!  VICTORY IS WAITING 4 U! Didjaheardat? Wel?, Jus do it…DROP IT!  #BOOM!!!!

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Philippians 4:4-5

Good morning Lord!

Thank you for this day that You have made! (Ref. Psalm 118:24) According to Your WORD, my #1 Priority today, is to glorify and celebrate YOU! It sounds like you’ve invited me to party with you all day.  Although, You’re the One throwing the party, strangely, I feel as if I’m the Honored Guest. WOW!

As I embrace this brand new day considering WHO You are and WHAT You have promised to do for, in and thru me, my heart-joy springs up erupting into eternal hope, confidence and peace. I shutter in pure amazement, pondering the depth of your Love and Compassion towards me. O the Wonder of Your never-ending loving-kindness overwhelms me with such comforting securing Grace!

I revel in Your unrivaled Greatness and I’m no longer intimidated by my smallness, frailness nor past failures! Suddenly, I become intensely aware that I am surrounded by The Mountain, The Fortress that can’t ever be shaken nor penetrated! This awesomeness is not easily described, due to the severe limitations of my finite intellect and verbal capacity. I find myself gasping at the mere suggestion that I AM the object of such affection. Yet this Truth encompasses my spirit, soul and body and I embrace my wholeness and completeness, as I dwell in the Presence of The All-Knowing, All-Loving, Caring, Creator-Giver, Father of All-Life!

I linger longingly in Your Sanctuary, fearing the inevitable interruptions and mysterious distractions that await me as I meander through this day. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that it was for this cause—that I may spread the Good News to some lost and weary one, that there is Hope beyond this world and that The Master is on His way—that I am called to Your Kingdom.

Today, I concede, confidently trusting and committing myself into Your Hands; resting assured that You are faithfully leading and guiding me, triumphantly and victoriously over every situation that I may confront along the way!

Strapped in The Full Armor of Your Righteousness with my feet clad in The Gospel of Peace—I forge forward rejoicing in my GGGRRREAT-GOD DAY!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiced; and with my song will I praise Him. The Lord is their strength and He is the Saving Strength of His Anointed. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance; feed them also, and lift them up forever. Psalm 28:7-9

 

Remember that song that the Sunshine Choir sang, “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands”? In a world full of constant drama, it’s comforting to know God is in control, huh? Yet, sometimes on this journey called life, we’ve all experienced those times when knowing that He’s got the world in His Hands can ring a little bit hollow. I mean no disrespect to The Most High God, but sometimes, we need to bring God a little closer. That’s exactly why He sent His Son Jesus!

God, knowing the frailty of our human frame, understands that sometimes we need to experience His Personal Touch. Oh Yeah, we know God’s got His hands pretty full maintaining all of creation, but His Hands are so big that there’s always plenty of room left for us! Keep this in mind, even when it seems like you’re living on the edge, He’s yet able to keep you from falling. (Ref. Jude 1:24)

Our Heavenly Father asked the Prophet Isaiah,‘can a mother forget her suckling child?’ Well even if she does, God wanted His children to know that He can’t ever forget you; you’re forever before His eyes. He’s even engraved your picture on the palms of His Hands! (Ref. Isaiah 49:15-16) #didjaheardat?

Wow, what a friend we have in Jesus! The scriptures, confirm that Jesus is that friend that sticks closer than a brother. He is so devoted and committed to uphold us in all of our ways. Seriously! There is absolutely no thing or no one who could ever pluck you out of His Hands! He swore by GODSELF!  “For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself” Hebrews 6:13

If you’re in His Hands today, relax. Trust2Kno, You’re in the safest place in this world! Trust The Love that won’t ever let go! Rest assured…He’s Gotcha!

Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God! GOTTA MOMENT? AWESOME!

Once again, we’re inviting you join us in our weekly Day of Corporate Fasting and Prayer! The Bible tells us that some things can only be released through effective fervent fasting and prayer. In deed we must agree that we need to pray more NOW THAN EVER BEFORE! Let’s enter into The Throne Room of The Lord and Creator of Life…

We love You Lord, and I lift my voice, to worship You. Oh my soul, rejoice! Take joy my King, in what You hear, and let it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your Ear! We adore Thee! We adore Thee, We adore Thee, O Lord!

As we’re PRAYING, we’re TRUSTING, BELIEVING & DECLARING…

 

Almighty Lord our God, as we bow our heads and our hearts to thank you for this day we honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for the privilege to enter into Your Throne Room confident that You welcome us and rejoice in hope that You are listening to our prayers!
Heavenly Father, we thank you for our being able to see, and to hear, and to speak, and to feel, and to taste of Your goodness this day and every day.

We’re blessed because You, being Holy and Righteous continue to be such a loving forgiving God, and such an understanding and caring God. You have done so much for us and yet you keep on blessing us. Lord forgive us this day for everything we have done, or said or thought that was not pleasing to you. Abba Fahter, we are sincerely sorry, humbly repent asking for Your forgiveness trusting in Your Promise that You are Faithful and Just to give us and to wash us over again in Your Precious Blood; cleansing us from all unrighteousness!

We thank You for being The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision.We’re thankful that because You know our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion allow You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to all of our need!

We pray for renewed strength, understanding and power that comes from a heart open to, depending and relying only on You. 

We pray that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind that you save the lost, put a yes in their heart and in their mind that they will come to you today and receive You as their Lord and Savior.

Abba Father, we’re praying that You will reclaim every back-slider and that You will place them and settle them into a church home today where they will be recommit the rest of their lives to faithfulness and obedience to Your Will, purpose, plan for their lives.

Father we lift up every government leaders and officials in the arenas of education, financial, judicial, health care and every spiritual leader, asking a special miracle for each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit.

Father, we’re trusting and believing that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love, trust wholly in and live their lives serving You!

Father, we commit our children, our children’s children and by faith, into Your providential care! Lord, we realize that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too and we have the blessed assurance that their steps are yet being ordered by Your eyes!

Heavenly Father, stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name that they will have a desire for an even greater personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Knowing that You Sovereignly Rule and Reign over the affairs of mankind, we pray and thank you for our President, Vice President and their family; trusting that the government yet rests upon Your shoulders. We rebuke the spirits of fear, confusion, worry and anxiety and loose Your Peace upon every heart that declares You are Lord. We thankya for Your Promise that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against us, thou shall condemn!

Lord, we ask that You continue to open the eyes of understanding so that your people are not easily deceived by those who desire to entrap your children in bondage once again to anything that You have delivered us from.

Lord, I pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection. I pray also Father, that You will preserve them thru the tests that they must go thru and that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word.

We lift up our bros and sistas who are grieving the loss of loved ones, release Your angels of mercy, comfort and grace to sustain them through this difficult season. We’re believing that as we’re praying, miraculous healings and deliverances are taking place all over this world. The Peace of God is being poured out upon the minds of those who are being attacked by spirits of depression, oppression, addictions, perversion, doubt and unbelief as You are suddenly taking dominion over Satans schemes, pulling down strongholds and cancelling demonic-induced assignments in Jesus Name Amen 3x!

Abba Father, we rejoice now in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame, turning their backs from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayers as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, we thank You, honor and praise You now, for I believe that it is done! In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen and It Is So! We seal this prayer with HALLELEUJAHHHHH!

Good Morning my Precious Bros. And Sistas! GOTTA MOMENT?

Didjaknow, that the only reason u r able to read this post is because Our Heavenly Father has blessed u to be alive one more day? And for that, please join us in exalting The Glorious Name of Jesus! As is our custom on Thursdays, we encourage you to join us in our weekly day of Corporate Prayer and Fasting between 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Is there any among you sick, weak, afflicted, ill-treated or faint-hearted, then as James 5:13 instructs, let’s pray!

Great is Thy Faithfulness, O God our Father! There is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thy changes not; Thy compassions fail not; as Thou hast beenThou forever wilt be! Morning by morning new mercies I see; ALL I HAVE NEEDED THY HAND HATH PROVIDED—GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS, LORD UNTO ME!

Abba Father, it is with great joy that we entreat Thy Seat of Mercy today! Trusting confidently that You have afforded us this awesome honor and privilege not because we deserve it, but based solely on Your Loving-Kindness towards us, that draws us into Your All Emcompassing Presence. Sweet Jesus, we thankya for Your Faithful Obedience to please The Heart of The Father by sacrificing Your Life in our stead, that we might become Sons of The True and Living God! And for this cause, we bow in humble gratitude, fully aware that as we come before You, empty and void of anything that would warrant such awesome graciousness, but because Your Righteousness we are now the beneficiary of All that You are in the Eyes of God!

Jesus, we know that You already know everything about every single one of us, because You are Omnisient and Omnipresent, but because You walked among us, allowing Yourself to be tempted at all point as we are, You learned what we experience in these earthly tabernacles and can be touched with the feelings of our infirmities! Therefore You, as our Great High Priest, are able to intercede on our behalf continuously searching and conveying the thoughts, intents, emotions and physical weaknesses that we’re often unable to articulate to The Father of All Grace, Compassion and Comfort! We thankya Lord, for being our Very Present Help! We ask that You hear our hearts confessing our sins, known and unknown,  that You will apply Your Blood over us, forgiving and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.

Lord, while we try to please You by trusting in Your Word, You know that sometimes, it’s difficult to over-ride the noise of the pestilence, the chaos of uncertainty and the pain of condemnation, guilt, and shame that seems to lure us into the valleys shadowed with danger, fear, anger, bitterness, anxiety, hopelessness and self-doubt! That’s why we gladly run to You, daily to findJ refuge, peace, restoration that You have prepared for any who would come to You in hope-filled assurance that You will never deny Your Word!

Heavenly Father, we’re forever blessing You for continuing to renew our strength, understanding and power as we open our hearts to You, by depending and relying only on You. And as we yield before you, we pray for those who are unsaved, we’re believing You to ignite a spirit of Godly-repentance that they may say “YES” in their heart and in their mind that they will have a desire to come to you today and receive You as their Lord and Savior.

Lord, we’re believing You to put a “NEW  YES” in the heart and mind of every backslider today that this will be their day to come back to You and come back to YOUR  local church that they may be restored, encouraged and committed to Your Will and Ways.

Father, please touch our brother, touch our sister who has been afflicted by any sickness and disease, including the spirit of cancer, kidney failure, high blood pressure, low blood pressure and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. We come into agreement with your Word and declare that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! And as You are strengthening these, we ask that you also envigorate, encourage and replenish the spirits, minds and bodies of those who are charged to care for their loved ones!

Lord, as always, we pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, trusting that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength, consolation, health, provision, prosperity and protection.

We pray also Father, that You preserve them thru the tests that they must go thru and keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word. Father we lift up every spiritual leader, asking an immediate manifestation of that special miracle for each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit.

Jesus, we’re trusting and believing that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love with You, trust wholly in and commit to live their lives serving You!

Father, as we lift up our children, our children’s children and by faith, canceling every scheme that Satan desires to inflict upon them, committing them into Your providential care, we realize that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too and we have the blessed assurance that their steps are being ordered by Your eyes!

Father, stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name that they will have a desire for an even greater personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Knowing that You Sovereignly Rule and Reign over the affairs of mankind, we’re praying for and thanking you for President Obama and his family, Secretary Hilliary Clinton and her family, we’re trust that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper. We’re asking that You endow the hearts of your people with a peace that surpasses all understanding and the confident expectation that because we’re citizens of Your Kingdom, our times are in Your Hands and regardless of the deceitfulness of this world, You have promised to protect, provide and preserve the righteous who trust and obey Your Word!

We ask that you continue to open the eyes of understanding so that your people are not easily deceived by those who would desire to entrap your children in bondage to that which you have delivered us from.

Abba Father, help us to understand that salvation only comes to those who trust in the Name of Your First Begotten Son, Jesus ALONE as the Only Power to save us. Give us a sign of Your Goodness, that our enemies may see it and be put to shame. For You, O Lord who searches minds and hearts will continue to shield, help, comfort and saveYour servants whose hearts are upright before You.

Father, we believe that every demonic-induced spirit of temptation, addiction, rejection, self-hate, suicide, fear and failure is already defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness is being released now, in Jesus Name! He who is pregnant with evil and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment. He who digs a hole and scoops it out will fall into the pit he has made. The trouble he causes recoils on himself and his violent schemes will come down on his own head.

Father, we rejoice now in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame, turning their backs from Your people! Because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayers as sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy, You will not withold Your Mercy from us and Your Love and Your Truth is a wall around us!

Abba Father, we thank You for listening to our prayer! We honor and praise You now, for we trust and believe that it is done! In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen and It Is So!

Good Morning Family! GOTTA MOMENT? AWESOME!

Once again, we’re excited to invite you to join us today in our Thursdays’ Corporate Fasting and Prayer between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We know that there’s much to place before The Throne of Mercy and Grace personally and on behalf of our loved one, friends and this world in which we live. As them ol’ skool saints used to say, ‘all those who know the word and worth of prayer’ let’s us pray believing that God hears and answers according to the Power that works within us! Shall we pray?

 

Here we are to worship! Here we are to bow down! Here we are to say that You’re Our God! You’re altogether Worthy, altoether Lovely, altogether Wonderful to me! I’ll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that Cross! IWell never know how much it cost…so here we are to worship and bow down before The True Savior and Lord.of all….

 
Heavenly Father, we come together now thanking you for this day, for this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless You Lord Jesus for making a Way for us to approach The Throne of Mercy with a holy boldness and confidence that You sit on The Right Side of The God Who Is, Was, and Shall Eternally Be The One True God, Creator and Sustainer of Everything!

Father, we come today blessing You for the day that You opened our hearts enabling us to recognize and receive the saving Grace in the Life, Death, Burial and Resurrection of Your Son, Jesus! We acknowledge that because it pleased You, you choose us to be Your very own children, while there was absolutely nothing in us lovable nor worthy of this honor and privilege!

Lord Jesus, we are eternally grateful that You purposed in Your Heart and by Your Own Hand, You are The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We’re thankful that because You know our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion allow You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and forgive our iniquities to see and minister to every one of our need!

Lord, today we come revently praying for all our sisters and brothers. We ask that The Prince of Peace fill our hearts and our homes with peace, love, hope, joy, patience with contentment as we lean and depend upon Your Faithfulness! We ask believing for immediate debt release, trusting that all their financial needs are met, and they have more than enough to be a blessing to others.

Father, we’re asking You to touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, high/low blood pressure, heart disease, kidney, lung failure, satanically induced depression/oppression/addictions and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, your Word declares that your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, we pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection. 

Heavenly Father, we’re asking that You preserve them thru the tests that they must go thru and keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word. 

Abba Father, we lift up our political, social, judicial, business, religious leaders, asking a special blessing upon each one! We pray that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, marketplace and churches that will cause those who are in their sphere of influce to love, trust and to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

Father we pray that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, failure, hopelessness and disappointment be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness be released now, in Jesus Name! We’re trusting that each morning of this new year Your children will awaken with assured grace to accomplish every assignment and earnest hope-filled tomorrows!

Lord, we pray as you have commanded in Your Holy Word, for all our enemies, and those who have used and abused me, and have lifted up their hands and their tongue against me. I now forgive them for all they have done. In Jesus Name, for I am a Child of God.

Father, we pray for every eye that reads and says this Prayer come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation that is greater than God, for God is greater than all, God is greater in all, God is greater through all, and God is greater upon all. For You God, are the Most High God Almighty of all the Universes is truly the Greatest of All.

Father, we are so grateful that as we continue to walk closely with You, we understand that every battle that we have and will ever encounter in our lives is always in the absolute control of Your Loving hands, for You, O Lord have Sovereignly Ordained everything to work together for my highest good and Your Greater Glory!

We pray for every one who has for whatever reason walked away from you shall be provoked by the anointing that is on our prayer, to come back to you today and that you will put a new ‘YES LORD’ in their hearts and a willful obedience in their spirit to live the rest of their lives faithful and committed to Your WILL (WORD) and WAYS!

Father God we ask that anyone reading this prayer, wondering why they even find themselves reading it, will bow their hearts toward You now, confessing their need for you in their lives, acknowleging your Amazing Love towards them, in appreciation will invite The Lord Jesus Christ to come into my life and change my heart now! Thank You Father that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord, my Savior, and my King, and confess this day and every day that I am highly FAVORED by God and man.!

Sweet Jesus, we pray that these words be believed, received and accepted into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every tongue that confesses them in name of Jesus Christ!

Lord Jesus, we know that there’s much more we could’ve, should’ve said but we know that because You are able to discern the intents of our hearts, we pray believing,  expecting, receiving and accepting God’s miracles in our lives this day and every day, for God’s Divine favor is now our heritage, in Jesus Name. THIS IS THE DAY WHICH THE LORD HATH MADE, REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT! PSALM 118:24

 

“The Good ol’ Days!” WOW! Remember? But what is it about memories? Either time has a peculiar way of tainting our perspective or our minds automatically default to selective-perceptions when the moment ends.

Somehow, as we reflect upon days gone by, we seem to remember that gut-wrenching pain (that you were utterly convinced was terminal) and the high that would get higher and the groove gets groovyur; the music never stopped; the laughter would become heartier and the flood of tears would never subside; the mornings came too soon and the nights were eternal; puppy love would grow into a couple, a family and divorce and you’d just…and recess lasts for a lifetime…and then! IT’S TODAY and you’re still alive! #wannacheckurpulse?

The infamous THEY said that the richest piece of real estate in any town, city, state or nation is the grave yard!  #DIDJAGETIT?  Can you imagine all of those hopes, dreams, secrets, recipes, thoughts, conversations, hugs, apologies and plans that remain unfulfilled beneath the soil! WOW! 

Release the coulda’s, woulda’s, shoulda’s! Smile triumphantly over conquests and the sweetness of successes! Sigh sheepishly over the guilts and regrets—then thank GOD for all the second chances!

My Precious Ones, whatever happened, good, bad, ugly and indifferent; you survived it all!

Thank GOD for the Sufficiency of yesterday’s Grace and Hope-Filled tomorrows!

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Yep! Ain’t no getting around it, because it’s still The Eternal Word of God, huh? I’m talking about that pesty-provoking-pressure-on-our-pleasure, five letter word “pride”! As the ol’ skool preacher would say, ‘I jus lost ¾ of my church’! LOL!

If you’ve been saved more than 25 years, you’ve seen subtle transitions taking place in the Christian Community. I’m referring to the greater emphasis being levied on the side of accumulating creature comforts rather than developing Christian character. While, there’s no denying that our Heavenly Father delights in the prosperity of His children, He distinctly distinguishes His Prosperity Plan from the system of this world, by including ‘even as your soul prospers, huh? (Ref. 3 John 1:2)

Of course, we know that God’s Ways are not ours and we’re eternally grateful that His thoughts are not like our, huh? Yet, many a wandering wayfaring person has been drawn down to the altar, enticed by the lure of a prolific prophetic preacher, promising peace and prosperity. Although this message has elements of doctrinal truth, upon closer examination, it can dilute the integrity of basic biblical foundation! Hence, leaving some believers with lop-side expectations and ill-prepared to walk out their journey of faith.

The New Millennium Church has adapted to The Burger King mentality that says, ‘If I can’t have it my way, then I’ll hit the highway’! While that attitude may work at a fast-food chain, it won’t get you off the run-way in the Kingdom of God. The last time I caught a breath, Jesus was still LORD! Therefore, He has the right to expect loyalty, faithfulness and obedience from those He has created!

God knows that it’s difficult for flesh to be humble! That’s why HE put these flesh-killing scriptures in The Book! Yall know, flesh wants to set up its own kingdoms and not submit to anything or anyone. Flesh wants to dominate; to be in charge; have its own way; be right; be the best and not ever admit that ‘I’m wrong, not perfect, it’s my fault; I need help, forgiveness…or I don’t know what to do!

Flesh wants folk to come to us; look up to us; be admired and yes even envied! Flesh wants to be first in line following the Apostle, Bishop and the Pastors. Flesh wants to sit on the front row so it can be noticed—to go higher, IN THE LORD, of course!

We like to quote the scripture, ‘resist the devil and he’ll flee from you’, right? However, more often than not, we leave out the first part, ‘submit yourself to God...and then you’ll have the power to resist the devil’! OMG, does it really say dat? Indeed! In the Kingdom, the way up is down!

God says, ‘humble yourself’—BUT–IF YOU CAN’T, HE WILL HELP YOU! Chances are He’ll raise up a devil, a situation, a problem, a need, a national threat, a global economic collapse! Sometimes, He’ll allow trouble to come knocking at your door, your church, job, wallet to get your attention long enough for you to humble yourself and have to pray! God knows that as long as we’re living high-on-the-hog, we’re prone to spiritual amnesia and assume that He’s okay playing second fiddle! NOT!

The Kingdom of Heaven has it’s own stimulus plan and it ain’t about to change! The strength and power of God’s Covenant relationship with His people is based on the parties involved doing what they’ve sworn to do. The position of GOD is permanently filling space and time! Remember, HE IS GOD & U R NOT!

It’s a highway to Heaven, however you’ve got to be willing to take the low road 2 get there! As we yield our entire lives to GOD’ S WILL, WE SHALL REAP THE KING’S ETERNAL REWARDS! #THE PATH TO GLORAAAA!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17

 

WOW! I know it’s been a while, nevertheless,  the movie “The Passion of Christ” starring Mel Gibson, still continues to amaze skeptics and awaken the consciousness of untold hundreds of thousands of people in and out of the church!

In just about 3-hours of an action packed, emotionally charged sequence of events, the movie attempts to depict the final days of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Beginning with His Triumphant Entrance into The Holy City of Jerusalem on to His Betrayal, making His Way to Pilate’s judgment seat, up to His Sacrificial Death on Calvary’s Cross, thru His burial in Joseph of Arimathea’s borrowed tomb on route to His Victorious Resurrection and Glorious Ascension back to His Rightful Seat on The Throne in The Kingdom of His Father in Heaven. And we can’t even imagine  the view from Heaven’s perspective, huh?

Okay, I confess, while I too was noticeably touched by the animated shockingly detailed reality of what My Savior endured to redeem and restore my Eternal Life,  I am yet more perplexed by the persistent rippling effect that continues to invade my life even though it’s been several years since I sat silently sobbing in that theater.

And while it’s been several months since we’ve commemorated Resurrection Sunday,  I’m still reeling at the depth of Jesus’ compassion for a people who, for the most part, would ignorantly continue to reject The Grace that He so freely offers to us. (Ref. John 1:11)

I mean, when you just take the time to really think about it, it’s almost unbelievable, huh?  Seriously! What outrageous compassion our Lord displays as He walked the shores of Galilee healing all manner of sickness and disease! (Ref. Matthew 4:23)

What flamboyant compassion The Law Giver demonstrates when the woman caught in the act of adultery was thrown before Jesus by the teachers of the law and the Pharisees. (Ref. John 8:1-11)

What extravagant compassion The Servant exposes as He humbly kneels to wash His disciples feet, including Judas. (Ref. John 13:5)

What preposterous compassion The Suffering Savior manifests as He interrupts death on the Cross to assure and confirm the thief’s reservation in Paradise that day. (Ref. Luke 23:43) 

What excessive compassion lingers on as our Resurrected Lord and High Priest faithfully prays that The Father forgive us, and send The Promised Comforter and Keeper to us in this world. I know right…WHAT UNCONSCIONABLE COMPASSION?

Wow! And to think that Jesus trusts us to show that same exorbitant loving compassion to this lost and dying world. AWEMAAZING!

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 1 Peter 1:13-17
It’s been acclaimed by some Biblical scholars, that we, the New Millennium 21st Century Church Age, are the generation destined to witness the fulfillment of End-Time Biblical Prophecy!  I’m certainly not an expert of Eschatology, yet it’s no wide-stretch of the imagination, to speculate that we are INDEED living in times that try and even vex the very souls of the righteous.  2 Timothy 3:1-7’s description of these perilous times in the earth sounds far too indistinguishably-familiar to us who are expectantly awaiting The Second Coming of our Lord!

Much to Satan’s delight, Spirits of Terror, Fear, Apathy and Discouragement have crept into the minds and hearts of the people of God to such a degree that even ‘Seasoned–Saints’ are becoming weary in their well doing.  May I offer these words of  comfort and encouragement to you today? “DON’T GET IT TWISTED!   THE DEVIL AIN’T RUNNING NOTHING!!!

As our text decrees, this world is not our home, we merely sojourning thru this land ever mindful that GOD has reserved a special place which far exceeds anything we could dare imagine or hope for.

Much to the devil’s dismay, therefore, be it RESOLVED Our Eternal God is yet seated on HIS Throne.  HE has not nor will HE ever relinquish one iota of HIS GLORY to anyone or anything! 

Be it further RESOLVED, that absolutely Nothing that you’ve been thru, Nothing you’re going thru NOW should make you want to tuck tail and turn back to that life that you’ve been delivered from. Don’t limit your expectations of Our Omnipotent God to your experiences! What God has for you is always in front of you! Trust God, everything that  God has planned for your future won’t even fit in your past; so keep it movin’! 

OH YEAH, PLEASE CHECK THE BACK OF THE BOOK–YOU WIN!  GREATER IS COMING!
