Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God! GOTTA MOMENT? AWESOME!

Once again,  we’re so excited that you have joined us in our Weekly Thursdays’ Day of Corporate Fasting and Prayer! The Bible tells us that some things can only be released through effective fervent fasting and prayer. In deed we must all agree that we need to pray more NOW THAN EVER BEFORE! Let’s enter into The Majestic Throne Room of The Lord and Creator of Life!

HE’s sweet I know, Jesus is sweet I know! Storm clouds may rise; strong winds may blow! But, I’ll tell the world, wherever I go, that I’ve found my Savior…and HE’S SWEET I KNOW! OOOHH SWEET WONDER! OOOOHHH SWEET WONDER! JESUS! THE SON OF GOD! I really love the Lorrrddd…I REALLY LOVE THE LORD! U DON’T KNOW WHAT HE’S DONE FOR ME! HE GAVE ME THE VICTORYYYY! I LUV HIM! I LUV HIMMMM!   I REALLY LLLUUUUVVVVVV THE LORD! 

WE’RE PRAYING, TRUSTING, BELIEVING & DECLARING….

Abba Father, we come before You today, not in our own righteousness but in the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus! As we come clothed in humble obedience, we’re rejoicing, praising and thanking You for blessing us to see this brand new day. We’re sooo grateful Heavenly Father for one more opportunity to embrace and enjoy the Abundance of Your Faithfulness, Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Daddy, we thank You for being The Lord of our Salvation, Deliverance, Hope, Breakthrough and Provision. We’re eternally thankful that because You know our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion allows You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities! Therefore, as we seek Your forgiveness, we’re convinced that You, knowing our hearts ,will continue to supply and minister to all of our need!

We praise You today Lord, for renewing our strength, encouraging our hearts, enlightening our understanding. We recognize that You alone are able to search the secret things, and even when our hearts condemn us, Your Lovingkindness is greater than our broken and contrite spirits! As we come to the end of ourselves, we draw near to You, repenting, open, relying and depending wholly on the Faithfulness of Your Word!

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that no man can come to You except You draw them! Therefore, as we intercede on behalf of every unsaved soul, we’re asking that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind, quicken our hearts and minds with the Spirit of Godly-repentance that all will cry out to You, professing a ‘SINCERE YES LORD’ to your Mercy and Grace and receive You as personal Lord and Savior today. As you draw them near to You, Father we’re believing that You will save them because it’s not Your Will that any should perish, but that all would run to receive Your Saving Grace! Father, as You pick them up, we’re believing that You’re directing their footsteps to a local Church home where they will be settled, nourished, and taught how to live out their lives pleasing and glorifying You!

Abba Father, we pray for every backslider who has walked away from the fold for whatever reason! Your Word assures us that You have never issued a divorce decree from any who has come into covenant relationship with You. We ask that Holy Spirit prick the heart and mind of those who have fallen prey to the Accuser’s lie right now. Let them know that You’re looking, waiting with Your arms open wide to receive them in joyful celebration as they return to Your Kingdom! Lord, plant a ‘commited Yes’ into their hearts and minds that restores and empowers them to be a Faithful witness to a lost and dying wold, In Jesus Name! Amen 3X!

Sweet Jesus, touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by all manner of sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, heart, kidney, lung, liver, bone disease, scoliosis, HIV/AIDS, drug and alcohol addictions, mental oppression and depression, Alzheimer, dementia, Autism, strokes, high/low blood pressure! Lord, Your Word has taught us that if we can have it, You can HEAL IT! Lord, we know that You are the same GOD who walked the shores of Galilee and have the same Power today to rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake! Lord, we come into agreement with Your Word declaring that Your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, as we lift up every believer who is experiencing grief, anxiety and weariness, those who have been victimized by senseless killings, those who are caretakers of ailing loved ones, those who are struggling to remain hopeful as they sit at the bedsides of those whom the doctors have gone as far as they know, yet today they’re determined to hold on to Your Hand by faith today! Father, we ask that You remember our brothers and sisters whose lives have been ripped apart by storms, floods, earthquakes, fires and  mudslides; both naturally and spiritually!

Abba Father, we declare and agree that as we are yet praying, You are releasing Divine Power, Supernatural strength, Health, Provision, Prosperity and Protection. We Thankya Father, that as You preserve them thru the tests, keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE, and fully-confident that while weeping may endure for a nite, unspeakable joy does come in the morning! Holy Spirit, comfort us with Your Peace that passes all understanding, convincing every wounded -wearied souls that at the appointed time, You shall bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word.

Father, we lift up our children, our children’s children; by faith we cancel every scheme that Satan desires to inflict upon them, as we’re committing them into Your Providential Care and Protection, we release a Spirit of Truth and Excellence upon their spirit, souls, minds and bodies! In Jesus Name, Amen 3x! We  gratefully acknowledge that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too’ therefore, we have the Blessed Assurance that even when we can’t see them, their steps are being ordered by Your eyes!

Holy Spirit, we thank You for an outpouring of Your Divine Favor upon each and every one of your children who are seeking employment, promotion, prompt approval for student/car/home loans and assure them that YOU are, Jehovah Jareh, who shall supply all of their need according to Your Riches in Glory!

Abba Father, stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name that they will have a desire for an even greater personal, intimate relationship with The Redeemer of Souls, through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the good, perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Heavenly Father, we lift up the government/legislative leaders of every nation of this world, judicial, corporate, education, financial, food service, public service and health care institutional leaders! We’re asking that You touch their minds and hearts, speak to them in dreams and visions letting them know that You Who Sit Sovereignly Enthroned Above the Heavens are keeping record of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly! We believe that because their hearts are in Your Hands, they are being continuously opened to hear and obey Your Will! Lord Jesus, we’re standing on Your Word as decreed that The government of this world shall rest upon Your shoulders because You are The Eternal King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Abba, we lift up every Bishop, Pastor, Overseer, Apostle, Evangelist, Minister, Missionary, Preacher and Teacher. Undergird them with Your Anointing and conviction to carry out their assignment, under the direction of Holy Spirit. Cover them as they go in and out amongst Your people and those who would seek to discredit, hinder and even destroy their faith, faithfulness and ministry,You have ordained. Grace them to be the holy humble examples in their homes, marketplace, communities and churches that will cause those who are in their sphere of influence to fall deeply in love with JESUS, and the people of God, fully committed to love, trust and live everyday of life serving and glorifying You, Our Heavenly Father!

Abba Father, we decree that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, failure, rejection, hopelessness and disappointment is defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Soberness is being released now, in Jesus Name! We’re declaring and trusting that each morning Your children will awaken empowered with assuring Grace to accomplish every assignment and sleep peacefully every nite, confident of brand new hope-filled tomorrows!

Father, we wait in confidence and quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame, turning away from Your people, terrorized because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Heavenly Father, we close this prayer with a THANKYA JESUS AND A HOLY HALLELUJAHH 2 YAH, BELIEVING THAT IT IS DONE! In The Exalted Name of Jesus! Amen 3x and IT IS SO!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT ‘JESUS LOVES, STILL SAVES & CARES 4 YOU!’

O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people. Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all His wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Psalm 105:1-3
 

Have you heard that old saying, “it’s not what you know, but who you know”?  Well, apparently it’s true.  Sometimes, the only right of entry to certain segments of our society is the ‘name droppin’ game. For example, if you’re ever invited to be a guest on The Ophrah Winfrey Show, it’s pretty much a given that you’re in like Flint (or is it Flynn?)!   Oh well anyway, this practice is quite prevalent, even in the church!  Shhhh!
 
Recently, I was watching a TV preacher promoting his book and a prayer shawl and couldn’t help but be amused at how cleverly he dropped the name of another world-renown televangelist. Now don’t get upset with me, I ain’t hatin’. Neither am I implying anything; simply making an observation.  Apparently, it’s okay to imply that you know a person without disclosing that you’ve never actually been personally introduced.
 
I can’t help but wonder why it’s perfectly acceptable to brag on your association with all these other folks, yet socially inappropriate to drop the NAME that is exalted above every other name? Ooh, but if you’re ever privileged to experienced Him, personally, it’s bordering on the brink of impossible to keep from bragging on His Name!  The old church used to say, ‘When I think of the goodness of JESUS, and all He’s done for me, my soul cries out HALLELUJAH!!!  I thank GOD for saving me! AMEN?
 
Ever found yourself standing in a grocery line or sitting in a restaurant and heard someone drop the Name Jesus? If you’re like me, chances are it ignited a kindred spirit within, and you couldn’t help yourself from surveying the perimeter to see who’s talking about our God! After all, if they’re lifting up that Name, then we must be related!
 
If you’re into ‘name dropping’, then why not drop THE NAME that will one day cause every knee to bow and every tongue to confess Him as Lord! (Ref. Romans 14:11)  So don’t be deterred by your haters, obviously they don’t know Him like you do–yet! 
 
Just drop this on them, “Yes I said it, His Name Is JESUS, and if you knew Him, like I do, you’d be praising Him too!”  Name Droppin!  TRY IT?

But now, thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel. Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name, Thou art Mine…Isaiah 43:1

Back in da day, growing up in the inner city, I remember how much fun we had just playing outside.  There was always something going on.  I remember jumping out of bed early in the morning, hurrying through my chores so I could get outside! From sun up till sundown, the atmosphere was charged with children’s laughter and just plain ol’ oomph.  Most of our parents didn’t have a lot of money to spend on entertainment.  In fact, in most homes, there was no TV’s, of course no computers, or X-Boxes, or Ipads, and yes, no cell phones.  IMAGINE DAT!

Strangely enough, I can hardly remember ever being bored.  Whatever we might’ve lacked in finances, we sure made up in our overactive imaginations!  Someone was always introducing a new game to play, a new dance, a new song, or a new way of doing an old thing. 
 
However, no matter how involved we might have been in our play time, there was a certain part of us that was instinctively tuned into that certain sound, that certain voice.  I mean, we could’ve been half way down the block somewhere, but when Mama stuck her head out the door and called your name, a sacred-like hush fell upon everyone’s ears as they zoned into to that sound to decipher who was calling who.
 
In the age of this new millennium there are so many things to occupy our time and our thoughts. There is always some new distraction, a new project, a new goal to attain, a new challenge to overcome.  In the midst of all the audible chatter, we’ve kinda lost our sensitivity to His Voice. Saints, now more than ever, we need to know who’s behind the voice that’s calling us.
 
The Bible says my sheep know my voice and another they will not follow. It’s become critical. Yes, in some cases a matter of life and death; that we are tuned into the call of God. Just as we as children knew our Mama’s voice and dropped whatever we were doing and responded quickly to that call, it is incumbent upon everyone of us to learn the art of hush and open up our spirit to the Voice!  Be Still and Know!

HUSH! HUSH!  DIDJAHEARDAT? SOMEBODY’S CALLING UR NAME!!

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 148:13-14

 

As a new born and bred, Blood-washed, Holy Ghost baptized in the Grand Ole Church of God in Christ, I know, personally, what it means when you hear the words ‘give honor to whom honor is due’! And if you’ve ever had the pleasure of attending one of their Holy Convocations or District meetings, I’m sure you do too!

Although we were trained in pulpit etiquette that once the podium is addressed the first time, it’s no longer necessary for every subsequent person to address the entire pulpiteers individually! At least, that’s what they told us. Nevertheless, some of us could not help ourselves from spending at least 8-10 minutes giving honor to ‘the Bishops, Superintendents, Pastors, Elders, District Missionaries, Evangelists, Deacons, Chairman of the Usher Boards, Choir Directors, Choir Member, Saints, Members and Friends before finally doing what they were asked to do!

Don’t get mad at me…on the inside, I’m COGIC 2 DA BONE!

However, I’ve noticed that there’s only ONE NAME that’s uniquely and distinctly dignified with its own Exclusive Exaltation! And that’s the Name that’s above every other name that can ever be named! That name is JESUS!

When you understand the tremendous worth and exceedingly radiant glory impregnated in HIS NAME, the only acclamation that even comes close to befitting HIM is the ONE Divinely-inspired by the original praise and worship team (the angelic host) who continuously behold His Face, is OH Glorraaaaa!

Considering, according to Biblical Historians, the name YAHWEH was so sacred that uttering it was almost blashphemous, what an amazing honor that The Father has bestowed upon us that allows up to freely lift up The Name of His Son—JESUS! Awesome things happen, when you call upon Jesus because there’s extravagant power available to those who trust in the Name!

The world has purposed its own list of  certain names that are synonymous with importance, wealth, fame, beauty, talent and intelligence such as Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Rockefellow, Haley Berry, Magic Johnson and Sigmund Freud, to name a few. And while these names may carry a certain degree of clout and access among man, it does not impress God in the least. But there is a name that over-rides and over-rules everything seen and unseen. Talk about name-dropping, huh?

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (Philippians 2:10)

No wonder, those who have been saved, healed, delivered and truly love the Lord, just can’t help but to worship the ONLY NAME WORTH praising at all—JESUS!

“ Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” Psalm 150:6

#Didjaheardat?  “HALLELUJAH!”

4 GOD’S SAKE!

“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.” Ezekiel 36:22-23

‘FOR GOD’S SAKE!’ How many times have you heard that? Most often it’s an expression used in an effort to persuade someone of your sincerity or swearing to a certain commitment! Backndaday (as my grandchildren say), there was an old saying, ‘A man’s word, is his bond’. In other words, yea was yea and nay was nay! Wonder why you don’t hear that much anymore? Today, instead of shaking hands, you’d better have a legal contract documenting the terms of agreement! And even then, you might need some deep pockets to carry you through your opponent’s legal appeals! Right?

Can you imagine how God felt, having hand-picked a people, wholly committing GODSELF and swearing by HIS NAME to love and care for them, unlike no other nation in the earth in the history of mankind, promising to give them their own land eternally, only to have His Chosen, reject and abandon Him; giving themselves over to polluted ‘no-god’ worship? Well that’s exactly what The Israelites did!

The ungrateful obstinacy of God’s Elect, provoked God’s Holy Anger to the point that He uprooted the entire nation scattering them to alien countries. Yet, not even their despicable unfaithful adulterous actions could separate them from The Faithfulness of God’s Love!

Having been exiled to foreign nations, the Israelites suffered unbelievable humiliation from people, whom by God’s own definition, were ‘worst than my people’! Wherever they were forced to go, God’s people were sentenced to shameful ridicule! But even more devastating, God’s Name and Holy Reputation was being defiled throughout every country they landed. God’s desire to raise up a holy nation, a royal priesthood showcasing His Wondrous Glory and Amazing Grace causing those other nations, yet under the bondage of sin, to forsake their evil ways and run to God for Salvation, was being thwarted due to the ungodliness of His Own People!

The Master decreed, ‘enough is enough’ and determined by His Own counsel to deliver His People!  Despite their proven unworthiness,  God pulled them out of their self-made stinky situation once again bringing them back to the land promised to their ancestors, blessed them to the extent that the surrounding nations stood gasping, amazed at the sight of such bountiful outpouring of God’s Favor! WOW! That’s what you call MERCY, huh?

However, God made it explicitly clear that He wasn’t doing this to make a name for the people, or even because the people deserved it, but rather, because HIS NAME was on the line! GOD’S NAME, represents GOD’S WORD!

That’s the core of our personal salvation, my precious saints! When we dare to step out by faith, not allowing our own unworthiness to reject God’s Mercy, but gratefully accepting God’s Loving Kindness towards us, trusting solely upon the sacredness of God’s reputation and God’s Word, whosoever can have whatsoever God decrees! FOR GOD’S SAKE!
