So they feared the Lord, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. They feared the Lord, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.” 2 Kings 17:32-33

“But the Lord your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies. Howbeit they did not hearken, but they did after their former manner. So these nations feared the Lord, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.” 2 Kings 17:39-41

 

America, the land of the free! A nation established and founded on the premises that no longer will its citizens be forced to hide their religious convictions in fear of retaliation or retribution, and are now free to express their devotion and adoration to The God of The Bible. Right? Well, perhaps that’s the original interpretation of The Constitution. But that kind of thinking is no longer relevant to 21st Century contemporary constituents, huh?

Apparently, that’s a bit too narrow-minded. After all, considering all of the astonishing advancements in technology has expanded our world-view far beyond anything that our forefathers’ localized-tribunal expectations. And besides that, what difference does it make who or how you worship as long as you worship a god? At least, that’s the New Age Theologists’ perspective!

Surprisingly, this humanistic approach to religion did not just pop-up in our lifetime. But according to our scripture text, it has  perpetuated down through the ages. While this concept of worship may be more palatable to so many, the ultimate result is a fatal collision with the explicit commandments of the Supreme Being, The Creator of the universes, Elohim.

It’s the nature of un-regenerated humanity to reject and rebel against authority. In fact, the very first words that most toddlers say is ‘NO’ and ‘MINE’.The truth of the matter is, it permeates throughout adolescence into adulthood. Unfortunately, oftentimes the residual effects tend to influence our relationship with The Only God of our Salvation. We want to incorporate carry-on-gods of our past into our newly found faith. But! This doesn’t set too well with The True God who demands absolute exclusive solidarity and adoration of those who have been called into His Kingdom!

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me”. Exodus 20:3-5

Nevertheless,  some yet stagger at such obstinacy, considering it demeaning and uncharacteristic of a universal gOD and choosing to overlook God’s Sovereignty, gravitate to a more inclusive tolerating object of personal worship.

There’s a prevalent trend in The New Millennium church doctrine that teaches it’s okay to cover all your bases and act like a Christian when it’s convenient, but at the same time, be a realist. Don’t forget or neglect the gods of the land you came from! Ain’t nobody perfect, right? In other words, you can have your cake and eat it too, huh?

Despite the popularity of Self-aggrandizing Narcisism religious affiliations, there yet remains a Remnant Church who prefer a personal intimate relationship as opposed to a form of godliness that denies the Authority and Power of The One and Only True GOD to rule over the daily affairs of mankind! (Ref. 2 Timothy 3:5)

Didjaheardat? SOUNDS LIKE EXCLUSIVE WORSHIP TO ME! #howboutu?

Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God! GOTTA MOMENT?  GREAT!

“HERE I AM TO WORSHIP, HERE I AM TO BOW DOWN, HERE I AM TO SAY THAT YOU’RE MY GOD, YOU’RE ALTOGETHER WORTHY, ALTOGETHER LOVELY, ALTOGETHER WONDERFUL TO ME…”

AS WE’RE PRAYING, WE’RE BELIEVING AND WE’RE DECREEING…

Abba Father, we come before You today, In the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, rejoicing, praising and thanking You for blessing us to see THIS brand new day. For we recognize that it was not because of any goodness of our own that we live, move and have our being, we quickly thank You, Father for another opportunity to embrace and enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Heavenly Father, it is with unspeakable joy that we Thank You for being The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision.With heartfelt humility and sincere gratitude, we acknowledge that Grace, Compassion and Faithfulness that allows You, knowing our frame, YET continuing to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities and minister to all of our need!

From a heart open, depending and relying only on You we offer up precious praise You today, for renewed strength,understanding and power that comes

As we reverence You as our personal Savior and Lord, because no man can come to the Father except you draw them, we pray, Daddy, that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind that you draw and save the lost, please quicken the Spirit of Godly-repentance in their hearts and in their minds that they will come to you today and say “yes” to your Grace Gift and receive You as their Lord and Savior!
Father, we interceded on behalf of every one who has turned their backs on You, walking in their own will, today we ask that You put a “yes Lord” in their heart and mind, free them to repent of their sin and come running back to You! We declare and decree that today every back-slider’s footsteps are being directed By Your Mercy and that You are planting and settling them into the church home that You’ve prepared and designated for their individual deliverance, growth and development!

Heavenly Father, we pray that you will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by all physical, mental, spiritual sickness and diseases, we plead The Blood of Jesus against the spirit of cancer, kidney failure, heart conditions, high/low blood pressures, depression, demonic-induced oppressions of temptations, doubts, addictions, learning disabilities, low self esteem, and failure , and we rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake.

Lord, according to Your Word declaring that your stripes have redeemed and healed us we’re yet standing firmly on your promise that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, we pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, we’re trusting that You are releasing Divine power, Supernatural Strength, Health, Provision, Prosperity and Protection.

We’re praying also Father, that You will preserve them thru the tests that they must go thru and keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word.

Father, we thanking You for an outpouring of Your Divine Favor upon each and every one of your children who are seeking employment, promotion, prompt approval for student/car/home loans and assure them that YOU are YET HE, Jehovah Jareh, who shall supply all of their need according to Your Riches in Glory!

Father we decree that every Satanic-induced spirit of fear and death is defeated NOW because of Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness and Purpose is being released in the lives of Your people now, in Jesus Name!

Father we wait in confidence and quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame, turning their backs from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, we thank You NOW, for WE BELIVE THAT IT IS DONE!In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen and It Is So!

Now, we encourage every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT JESUS LOVES EVERYBODY! #FRONTLINEMINISTRY #CARE2SHARE

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved”…In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah….God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Psalm 62:1-2, 7-8, 11

 

“Everyday is not the same!” These were the words from a faithful friend to me to encourage me at a time when I found myself drowning in raging waters, attempting to maneuver my way through the valley overshadowed by Dred and Death! In retrospect, I’m almost tempted to say, “Sir, is dat ever an understatement!”

However, I’ve found myself speaking these same words to fellow sojourners I’ve encountered along the path. Only now, I offer them as a breath of refreshing wind to wayfaring souls, to console their storm-wearied hearts to keep moving, keep trusting, keep believing because NOW IS NOT FOREVER and GOD IS TOO FAITHFUL FOR YOU TO GIVE UP NOW!

My prayer is that the words penned by The Psalmist in today’s scripture text serve as a compass leading you to The True Source of Comfort and Peace and remind us of God’s Promise!

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11

Beloved, only God knows what challenges you are facing at this writing, yet I hear the psalmist’s saying, when the cares of this ol’ world overwhelm us, there is an escape, a safe house that we can run into and be saved from the terrorist’s threats. Hence, we can run to the Mountain That is Higher than you and I!

My precious one, can we pray?

“Heavenly Father, here we are again bowing at The Throne of Your Mercy! We’re so grateful for the honor and privilege to come boldly, knowing that You hear and answer every petition we place before you.

We’re praying for the strength of The people of God, that we might be encouraged to stand strong, continue lifting up The Blood Stained Banner of our Lord and Savior. Trusting confidently that He  Who Rules and Reigns above The Heavens, is in ABSOLUTE CONTROL of the affairs of all mankind! We’re praying for the leaders of our country, fully persuaded that their hearts remain in God’s Hand, confident that The Omniscient Father never sleeps nor slumbers, is never taken by surprise, neither does He ever need to repent! EVERYTHING HE HAS PROMISED, HE WILL PERFORM!

We’re praying for our children, every parent who has been charged to instruct and rear them up in the fear and admonition of THE LORD will submit to the leading of Holy Spirit, walk upright before them that they may see our faith and commitment to THE GOD OF ALL HOPE!

We’re praying for those who are yet in darkness, being deceived by Satan into rejecting The Saving Grace of The Lord Jesus Christ will be snatched from the snares of sinfulness and repent before GOD, seeking forgiveness and salvation. We’re believing that the hearts of the backsliders will be pricked by The Spirit of The Living God so that they will make a decision to return to Jesus TODAY!

We’re praying for the comfort of those who are dealing with grief, depression, loneliness, fear, addictions, confusion, overwhelmed by financial commitments, sickness and diseases. We’re believing that the angels of the Lord are being sent to their sides to minister help, health and hope at this very moment.

We’re rejoicing in reality that the companionship of The Lord of All Comfort, Joy and Peace is never too far away  and that HE can be touched with the feelings of our infirmities.

We’re eternally grateful, Father, that regardless of what each day brings, YOU OH GOD REMAIN THE SAME, YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER FAITHFUL to protect and provide everthing we ever need.

ABBA FATHER, we’re thanking You now for Your Compassionate Loving Kindness, Tender Mercies and Unconditional Love that never leaves us nor forsakes those who place their personal trust in JESUS ALONE! THE SOLID ROCK!

We’re asking these things, recognizing that it’s because of The Majestic Name of Jesus that we rest assured in Hope  earnestly anticipating that it shall be so. In Jesus Name. AMEN 3X

SACRED TRUST!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalm 91:14-15

Ever heard, (perhaps you’ve said it yourself) “I’ll forgive you, but I won’t forget!”? What I think the person’s really saying is, “To err is human, but trust is Divine”!

One of the most catastrophic casualties of any broken relationship is trust!

Personally, I believe that’s why God hates sin. Given the uncertainty of the expansive lapse of time and the incomprehensible impact of the devastationing consequences of their high-treason against El Elyon, any attempt to describe the weight  and wealth of this trusting intimacy and fellowship that Adam and Eve enjoyed with The Creator as unimaginable, would at best only be a severe under-estimation! #IJS

Nevertheless, The Bible does reveal sporadic glimpses into the pure delight of The Heavenly Father’s Heart strolling through The Garden in the cool of the day, the intimate communion with the most precious of creation, sharing secret Eternal Wisdom, proudly affirming and re-affirming man’s authority and dominion over all living creatures and expressing Loving-Providential Care towards that which was created in His Own Image!

Despite the palatable convenience and more advantageous point of view for man to deflate the effect of our transgressions, both in Heaven and in the earth, from God’s perspective sin corrupts! Therefore it demands separation from Holy. Hence, sin brutally interrupts the intimacy that God purposed between God-Self and humanity when He formed us! Thereby emphatically grieving the Holy Spirit of God! Yet, we have the audacity to describe our unrighteous infractions as ‘my little issue’, ‘a slip up’ or ‘to miss the mark’! WOW!

Fortunately for us, God’s love would not be denied! Today’s scriptures tells us that knowing the innate frailty and the proclivity of human flesh to fall hopelessly into the temptations of sin’s lure, The God of Compassion and All Comfort , determined to restore the sacred communion (trust) with His Family, sacrificed His Only Begotten Son, the 2nd Adam, to repair the breach ruptured by our rebellious nature. (Ref. John 3:16)

Even more awesome, is the reality that we, (the offender), have only to accept this free offer (made by the Offended), Salvation by Grace, by confessing a faithful-heart-filled prayer of repentance (Godly sorrow) and professing a solemn commitment to live each day of the rest of our lives wholly unto The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! 

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

WOW! #didjaheardat? NOW THAT’S AWEMAAZZIN! 2 KNOW GOD IS 2 TRUST HIS LOVE! SACRED, huh?

SELAH Daily Devotions!

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour…Fear not: for I am with thee” Isaiah 43:2-3, 5

Over the past several years, there have been many versions of the infamous prose, Foot Prints inThe Sand. The original poem was written by Mary Stevens in 1939. Yet, these verses continue to touch our hearts on so many different levels, causing us to wholeheartedly concur with Ms. Stevens reflections with a resounding …Ugotdatright!

In retrospect, it seemed as if the worst of times were in fact the times I felt the most alone!

Isolation! It’s one of the enemy’s favorite weapons to use against God’s children. It doesn’t matter whether you’re sitting quietly by yourself or amidst a large gathering of people, we can still be intimidated by a demonic spirit called ‘isolation’.

Satan, a notoriusly skillful, subtle, ingenious, crafty and deceitful enemy,  waits patiently seeking to ensnare those who are either unaware of or perhaps have become insensitive to his tactics. At the most opportune time, he strikes swiftly invading our minds and emotions with carefully selected thoughts, feelings and progressive suggestions designed to persuade us that “no one cares about me; no one really understands what I’m going through, no one really understands me; shucks… I might as well stay by myself.”

But! Remember, the devil is still a liar! The devil knows quite well, that since you’ve invited Christ Jesus into your life, you are never by yourself; however that doesn’t keep him from working overtime to convince you that even if that’s true, it doesn’t mean it’s true for you!

One of many benefits of our Heritage Plan of The Most High God, is direct-access to Divine Power to shift the atmospheric conditions of our environment. It’s called prayer! So even if our circumstances  seem to appear as if God has abandoned you—just when you need Him the most—we have an inner witness, Holy Spirit, to assure us that if we would simply call on Jesus, He shows up right where we need Him to be, under-girding us with His Comforting Presence, Boundless Mercy and Infinite Strength and Power!

This is the confidence that every believer has in The Covenant Keeping God.

Faced with intimidating threats, fiery darts of persecution or apparently overwhelming furnaces of afflictions? Remember, you can relax, rest upon His Reliable Arms, fully assured that He is well able to carry us through every situation.

As you yield your hearts and entrust  your circumstances to Him, you have this assurance; even at our weakest, we are always connected to The Very Present Help and Everlasting Hope—Jesus!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

“Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief” (Heb. 4:11)

 

There is a certain ‘place’ that every human, believer or unbeliever, inevitably seeks  to inhabit. However, you can’t locate in on Map Quest, Google or GPS. Amazingly, given all of the sophisticated technological advancement of our 2lst Century, it can’t be seen by telescope, satellite or heard by electronic ultra sonic sound systems. You can’t travel there walking, driving or riding in a bus, train, plane, rocket, cruise liner, submarine or battle ship!

Nevertheless, many a lifetime is spent meandering through days and nights pursuing it! Unfortunately, few ever get there. Some get closer than others, yet they’re left disappointed. For reasons unbeknownst to them, before they’re able to get a firm grasp, some way and some how, ‘it’ escapes to just beyond reach. Many have sought for it at the pinnacle of corporate, academia or entertainment world. Only to ascertain that despite the success, accolades, notoriety, wealth and privileges of the elite, there yet remains this insatiable unfulfilled inner-quest!

Where is this place that continues to evade so many a desperately wandering soul?

In case you haven’t figured it out, it’s called ‘REST’! And the reason so many fail to reach it, is because it is not a place but a person; and His Name is JESUS!

According to these Scriptures: “And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?” (Heb. 3:18)

“Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief” (Heb. 4:6)

Apparently, that which is impossible to man is always possible to God! (Ref. Matthew 19:26)

Didjaheardat? Amazingly, the very moment anyone places their ABSOLUTE trust in The Saving Grace of The Lord Jesus Christ, they have finally arrived, safe and sound, at their Destination—REST!

So do what you can. Pray about anything; trust God for everything and LEAVE THE REST TO JESUS! #GOTIT?? Aaawwwwmmmaaaazzzzzin!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  Hebrew 11:1

 

Contrary to contemporary Millennium thinking, faith is not a new theological doctrine. Biblical faith doesn’t have to be complicated. Genuine Faith is simply a patient confident trust in the integrity and power of our Loving and Caring Heavenly Father. Didjaheardat?

Faith is the currency of exchange in the Kingdom of God! The Bible emphatically states that we can’t even approach The Creator of Heaven and earth, The True and Living God without first believing, not only that He exists, but that HE is WHO HE SAYS HE IS!  Furthermore, we can’t expect to get anything from God unless we believe that HE IS ABLE TO DO EVERYTHING HE SAYS HE WILL DO! #SERIOUSLY!

Hebrews 11:1 says, “NOW” faith, not “THEN” faith! The Eternal God reigns from Everlasting to Everlasting; and because JESUS is the same, yesterday, today and forever, we can expect Him to be the same God NOW that He’s always been! (Ref. Hebrews 13:8)

Beloved, words are powerful containers! Hence, as long as you continue to call those things that are, then you will continue to get jus whachasay! However, if you want to see  that situation change for the better, then start calling it whacha want! Jesus did! #ijs (Ref. Romans 4:17) 

Remember how them Ol’ Church Mothers used to encourage themselves while waiting on their Lord by singing faith songs like “GOD Specializes” and “I know the Lord Will Make a Way, Somehow”. Their hope, just like ours, was not in what we can see now, but what we can expect God to do. Faith says “I don’t know when and I don’t know how, but I just believe that God is already working on my situation; turning everything around to work in my favor and for His Greatest Glorrraaa!   (Ref. Romans8:28)

TRUST2KNO, Faith is not limited by our natural eyes…but says, “I don’t have to see it to believe it!  AMEN 3X…IT IS SO! FAITH TALKS!

Good Morning Family, GOTTA MOMENT?

Once again, we the New Nations Worship Ministries Family, invite you to join us today in our Corporate Day of Fasting and Prayer between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. We know that there’s so much to place before The Throne of Mercy and Grace personally and on behalf of our loved one, friends and this world in which we live. As them ol’ skool saints used to say, “those who know the word and worth of prayer’ let us pray, believing that God hears and answers according to the Power that works within us! Shall we pray?

“Almighty Father, we come together now thanking you for this day, for this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless You Lord Jesus for making a Way for us to approach The MagnificentThrone of Mercy with a holy boldness and confidence that You sit on The Right Side of The God Who Is, Was, and Shall Eternally Be The One True God, Creator of Everything!

Father, we pray for every eye that reads and says this Prayer come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation that is greater than God, for God is greater than all, God is greater in all, God is greater through all, and God is greater upon all. For You God, are the Most High God Almighty of all the Universes is truly the Greatest of All.

Lord, we pray as you have commanded in Your Holy Word, for all our enemies, and those who have used and abused me, and have lifted up their hands and their tongue against me. I now forgive them for all they have done. In Jesus Name, for I am a Child of God.

Father, we are so grateful that as we continue to walk closely with You, we understand that every battle that we have ever encountered in our lives is always in the control of Your Loving Hands, for You, O Lord, have Sovereignly Ordained everything to work together for our highest good and Your Greater Glory!

We pray for every one who has for whatever reason walked away from you shall be provoked by the anointing that is on our prayer, to come back to you today and that you will put a new ‘YES LORD’
in their hearts and a willful obedience in their spirit to live the rest of their lives faithful and committed to Your WILL (WORD) and WAYS!

Precious Lord, today we come praying for all our sisters and brothers. We ask that The Prince of Peace fill our hearts and our homes with peace, love, and joy! Father, we pray believing that you will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, your Word declares that your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, You know that we live in a world today where the very elect are being constantly bombarded by intimadation and threatening persecution from a god-hating rebellious society of people, we also acknowledge that the Earth which You have created is wrestling to escape the corruption of a sinful nature therefore, we humbly lift up before Your Throne, every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength, consolation, health, provision, prosperity and protection.We ask believing for immediate debt release, trusting that all their financial needs are met, and they have more than enough to be a blessing to others.

Abba Father, we lift up our spiritual leaders, asking a special blessing upon each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit. We pray that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love, trust wholly in and to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

We ask Heavenly Father, that you will stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name so that they will have a desire to increase their personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Lord, we pray that every demonic-induced spirit of temptation, addiction and fear be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness be released now, in Jesus Name!

Father God, we ask that anyone reading this prayer, wondering why they even find themselves reading it, will bow their hearts toward You now, confessing their need for you in their lives, acknowleging your Amazing Love towards them, in appreciation will invite The Lord Jesus Christ to come into my life and change my heart now! Thank You Father that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord, my Savior, and my King, and confess this day and every day that I am highly FAVORED by God and man!

Father, we now wait in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame, turning their backs from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

I pray that these words be believed, received and accepted into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every tongue that confesses them in name of Jesus Christ, I pray believing, receiving and accepting God’s miracles in my life this day and every day, for God’s Divine favor is now our heritage, in Jesus Name. Amen 3x! It is done! Alleluia!
