WELL, AMERICA’S GREAT AGAIN, huh?  WOW!

Today despite of all the  predictions, our Nation has survived one more surprise attack, huh?  Who knu that the greatest threat to our national security would come from within the borders of our own democratic system? Nontheless, they say, ‘Liberty For All’, right? Well, I suppose that depends on one’s personal perspective. Nevertheless, we can agree on this, Freedom is not free nor is it cheap!

Hence,  I declare and decree, in Order to form a more perfect Unity, establish true Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain. establish, stand steadfast, immovable always abiding in THIS TRUTH, that despite all of these sophisticated technological security advancements of  the 21st Century,  the safest place in the whole wide world yet remains “smack-dabb” in the middle of GOD’S PERFECT WILL!!!

While many families are still struggling to cope and recover from the distress of 911, the increase in the random killings of young students,  senseless massacre of innocent kindergarteners at Connecticut’s Sandy Hook Elementary,  bomb blasts  abruptly interrupting The Boston Marathon , suicide bombings at airports globally, lunatics open-firing on random citizens out enjoying a matinee movie,  afternoon shopping at the local mall and evenings at their favorite restaurants or niteclubs,  those who arbitrarily invade the sanctify of Bible Study and Prayer Meetings, and to add insult to injury, now there’s the unprecedented diagnosis of post election stress disorder!  The devastating sociological effect of the culmination of  each of these obviously re-enforce the new-now reality! America has changed forever! Consequently, that somewhat bi-partisant-nonchalant-attitude that we once held viewing  media broadcasts detailing the slaughter of civilians in other countries has given way to a national sense of restrained anxiety and anticipation.

The false sense of serenity that our nation once enjoyed has now converted to sporadic rampant acts of violence, devastation and destruction. In the after mass, we see a socieity of proud Americans struggling to present a united front, clinging, crying, comforting, praying together in an attempt to let the world know “We’re proud to be Americans; United we stand and God bless America”!

Now don’t shout me down! Trust me, I’m just as patriotic as anyone. I am grateful that God destined me to be born in this country. However, first and foremost, I’m a Christian; a citizen of The Kingdom of God! Therefore I am compelled to plead on behalf of all my fellow countrymen, “America, bless Our GOD!”

None can deny that God has been so merciful to America. Time and time again, God has proven Himself to be so near to us. Our nation’s history confirms that God has continuously reached out to assure us, “My children, we are in this thing together…forever. I am here to help you. I am your shield and your buckler; I am as close as the very breath you breathe. I am fully and totally committed to you.” Unfortunately, just like the Israelites in Bible days, this nation has persisted in boldly rejected GOD’s Way, insisting on doing things our way, legislating unrighteousness!

Well can I offer my most solemn suggestion; my fellow Americans, instead of trying to pass the buck, we need to repent. Why spend so much time, money and attention pursuing false gods? We don’t need another God to save us! We just need to turn back to the One True Foundation of this great nation. It’s time to bend our knees, bow our hearts, and surrender our praise and worship to The True and Living God our Lord Jesus Christ. Clearly, everything that we will ever need is in Him.

What’s the point of having another National Day of Prayer if we have no intention of changing? I mean, can you imagine the stinch that’s seeping into The Throne Room of His Grace and Mercy? #yukyuk! Awemazingly, The Living God is waiting for His Chosen People to humbly cry out in sincerity to Him, (actually repenting) and return to the Rock of our Salvation!Remember, God has promised that in the midst of troubling times, we’d find Him to be a Very Present Help.

“Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 1:3

WAKE UP AMERICA, IT’S WAY PASS TIME TO BLESS OUR GOD! GOD WANTS HIS AMERICA, BACK! #NUFFSAID!

One thing for certain, two things for sure: Life happens fast and furious! Preparing for the unexpected is a challenge for any of us! Saved or Unsaved, huh?

Yet as believers in The Lordship of Jesus Christ, we’re taught to do just that! The Word of God warns us that when faced with seemingly overwhelming circumstances, to resist the urge to give in to panic and anxiety! How many times has your circumstantial evidence threatened to destroy all hope for recovering the calmness that you once enjoyed walking in the comfort of God’s favor? #bothhandsup!

Nevertheless, time and wisdom have trained us that Satan delights in using the intermittent turbulent winds and upheaval waves of chaos, temptations and uncertainty to manipulate and vex the minds of unsuspecting sainted-souls of God’s elect.

From the beginning, The Master of Deceit, has proven himself quite adept in distracting our hearts away from what we know of God, derailing our commitment to trust and subccumbing to questioning, doubt, unbelief and ultimately dissipating our hope-filled confidence into pits of  desperation, fear and despair!

Although, sometimes it appears as if Satan has been declared the victor, it behooves you to not fall for the ‘ookey-doke’, and never ever underestimate The Power of God! God is Sovereign! Hence, your enemies can’t intrude into your life, except God allows! And the only reason that El–Shaddai everrrr temporarily permits the Hell Hounds to invade your personal space, is to prove that His greater purpose excels far beyond your temporary pain and discomfort!

Therefore, Beloved, don’t believe everything you see! The enemy’s arsenal is flanked by confusion, isolation, intimidation and fear. #FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL! Chances are, it ain’t what it looks like! Besides, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but as Children of Light, we’ve inherited HOLY GHOST POWER, LOVE AND SELF DISCIPLINE! (Ref. 1 Peter 4:12-14)  #WOW! #DIDJAHEADAT?

Regardless of what attempts to impede your trust and confident reliance on The Presence and Prominence of your Loving Heavenly Father, you stand your ground, cling steadfastly to what you’ve already experienced and continue to stride safely through the murky rivers of Life!  Albeit, some water gets into your boat, just keep in mind that The One who commands the sea and the waves is onboard, therefore your life is anchored in the Cleft of the Rock!

Precious Ones, faith in God’s Loving Care gives us eternal assurance that whenever life assails against us, we can ride out the storms resting in the quiet confidence that THE SELF-EXISTENT LORD WILL NEVER…NO NOT EVER… LEAVE OR FORSAKE US! (Ref. Hebrews 13:5) YEP!  REMEMBER, even if you’re going thru Hell, jus keep moving!  JESUS IS ALWAYS LOOKING OUT 4 U!

JESUS LIVED ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CIRCUMSTANCES! SO, WHAT’S UP WITH U?

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14

 

Recently, I’ve come into contact with several people who undergo Dialysis treatment due to severe kidney failure. I am certainly not an expert in these matters, so humor me in my attempt to describe, in my acutely limited understanding, how dialysis works. Okay, here goes?

Apparently, the dialysis process involves draining the blood from the patient’s body thru a machine which filters out the impurities in the blood system and returns the clean blood back into the body. The number of the times the patient visits the dialysis center weekly varies according to the level of kidney dysfunction of the individual. While the benefits outweigh the risks of this procedure, there are potentially critical consequences of this process. One being anemia. One of the markers that the physician looks at to determine the stage of anemia is the ratio of white blood cells to red blood cells.

Prayerfully, none of you will ever suffer through anything like this, in the natural; yet it prompted me to look at its similarities spiritually. It’s becoming profoundly evident that The New millennium church is suffering from a severe case of spiritual anemic. Somewhere along the way, there has been a gradual drifting away and a markedly diminishing of the revelation, significance and the Power of The Blood of Jesus!

Consequently, the church is in dire need of a blood transfusion. The problem is most of the times this dis-ease goes virtually unnoticed and undiagnosed until we find ourselves sprawled out on a gurney in the ER (the Altar) depleted physically, emotionally, financially, relationally scrapped and spiritually bankrupt.

Oh yeah, some of us have become quite adept at putting on our ‘church-game-face’ and can actually manage to press on, for a good while, conquering one hurdle after another before draining all our strength. But inevitably, we get to that place where we’ve no other option but to come clean. ‘That’s it…I’m through…Kapoop…there’s absolute nothing left…I’ve tried to stop lying and cussin’, drinking and dopin’… I tried to handle this adulterous relationship…I’ve done all I can think of to keep this house/business/church afloat, keep these kids from going to jail…but now …I’m at my wits end.” And… That’s when we turn to Jesus, the True Source of All Strength and Power…The Master Physician!

You see the problem is, God never intended us to do it (LIFE) alone! That’s why He sent Jesus to restore the connection severed by Adam’s rebellion. The Blood of God’s Sacrificial Lamb flows from The Righteous to the unrighteous. As it is applied daily to our hearts, minds, our will through prayer, worship and study of His Word, filtering into every area of our lives we are fortified and sanctified holy and acceptable to God!

The transforming Blood of Jesus purifies our sin-consciousness and empowers us to overcome all of this life’s maladies replenishing hope and healing to an anemic church and to a lost and unholy world! #Didjaheardat? #WOW!

THAT’S THE GOSPEL! NEED A BLOOD TRANSFUSION? #hookmeupLORD

Good Morning my Precious Bros. And Sistas! GOTTA MOMENT?

Welcome 2 today! Our Heavenly Father has blessed u to be alive one more day! And for that, please join us as we exalt The Glorious Name of Jesus 2gether as is our custom on Thursdays’ Corporate Prayer and Fasting! Many are afflicted by a multiplicity of the cares of this world; yet Our Heavenly Father gives us the antidote to the maladies of this life. Therefore as James 5:13 instructs, let’s pray!

Great is Thy Faithfulness, O God our Father! There is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thy changes not; Thy compassion fail not; as Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be! Morning by morning new mercies I see; ALL I HAVE NEEDED THY HAND HATH PROVIDED—GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS, LORD UNTO ME!

 
Abba Father, once again, it is with great joy that we entreat Thy Great Throne of Mercy today! Trusting confidently that You have afforded us this awesome honor and privilege not because we deserve it, but based solely upon Your Loving-Kindness towards us, You are drawing us into Your All Encompassing Presence.  

Sweet Jesus, we Thankya for Your Faithful Obedience to please The Heart of The Father by sacrificing Your Life in our stead, that we might become Sons of The True and Living God! And for this cause, we bow in humble gratitude, fully aware that as we come before You, empty and void of anything that would warrant such awesome graciousness, but because of  Your Righteousness, we are now the beneficiary of All that You are in the eyes of God!

Lord, we know that You already know everything about every single one of us, because You are Omniscient and Omnipresent, but because You walked among us, allowing Yourself to be tempted at all points as we are, You learned what we experience in these earthly tabernacles and can be touched with the feelings of our infirmities! Therefore You, as our Great High Priest, are able to intercede on our behalf continuously searching and conveying the thoughts, intents, emotions and physical weaknesses that we’re often unable to articulate to The Father of All Grace, Compassion and Comfort! We thankya Lord, for being our Very Present Help!

Lord, while we try to please You by trusting in Your Word, sometimes, it’s difficult to over-ride the noise of the pestilence, the chaos of uncertainty and the pain of condemnation, guilt, and shame that seems to lure us into the valleys shadowed with danger, fear, anger, bitterness, anxiety, hopelessness and self-doubt! That’s why we gladly run to You, daily finding refuge, peace, restoration that You have prepared for any who would come to You in hope-filled assurance that You will never deny Your Word!

Heavenly Father, we’re forever blessing You for continuing to renew our strength, understanding and power as we open our hearts to You,  we yield, our spirits, soul and bodies before You, we ask that You forgive us of every act, intent, thought or word that we have done that is contrary to Your Divine Will. We trust that You are faithful and just to forgive us and to wash us again in The Redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ, restoring the intimacy of our fellowship with You as Lord of our lives!

Sweet Jesus, we intercede for all those who are unsaved! We’re believing You to break up the stony hearts and ignite a spirit of Godly-repentance that they may say “a sincere Yes” in their heart and in their mind! Put a desire to come to You today and receive You as their  personal Lord and Savior!

Lord, as Your eyes continue searching the hearts of mankind, we’re trusting You to put a “committed YES” in the heart and mind of every backslider today that this will be their day to come back to You and come back to YOUR church where they will submit to the loving, nurturing teachings of Your Word, determining to live out the rest of their lives exemplifying The Wonders of Your Glory to a lost and dying world!

Father,  touch our brother, touch our sister who has been afflicted by any sickness and disease, including the spirit of cancer, kidney failure, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, perversion, addiction, depression! We ask that You rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake!  We come into agreement with your Word and declare that by Your stripes we have been redeemed and healed! We yet stand on Your promise that the prayers of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! And as You are strengthening these, we ask that you also invigorate, encourage and replenish the spirits, minds and bodies of those who are charged to care for their loved ones!

Lord, as always, we pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, trusting that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength, consolation, health, provision, prosperity, protection and we’re trusting Your Peace that passes all understanding will keep our hearts filled with Your unspeakable Joy.

Abba Father, preserve them thru every test and trial; keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that trouble does have an expiration date and that at Your appointed time, You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word.

Father, we lift up every spiritual leader, asking that You grant an immediate manifestation of that special miracle for each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the convicting Power and Anointing of Holy Spirit! Sweet Jesus, we’re trusting and believing that You will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love with You, trust wholly in and commit to live their lives faithfully and obediently serving You!

Father, as we lift up our children, our children’s children and by faith, canceling every scheme that Satan desires to inflict upon them, committing them into Your providential care, we realize that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too and we have the blessed assurance that their steps are being ordered by Your eyes!

Father, stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name that they will have a desire for an even greater personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Knowing that You Sovereignly Rule and Reign over the affairs of mankind, we’re praying for  the leaders of our nation, government, corporate, judicial, educational, health care providers and every arena of our society! We’re asking that You touch their minds and hearts, speak to them in dreams and visions  to let them know that You Who Sit Enthroned Above the Heavens are keeping record of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly!

We’re praying that You endow the hearts of Your people with a peace that surpasses all understanding and a confident expectation that our times are in Your Hands and  regardless of the deceitfulness of this world, You have promised to protect, provide and preserve the righteous who trust and obey Your Word! We ask that You continue opening the eyes of our understanding so that Your people are not easily deceived by those who would desire to entrap Your elect in bondage to anything which You have delivered us from! In Jesus Name, Amen 3x!

Abba Father, help us to understand that Eternal Salvation only comes to those who place their personal trust in the Name of Your First Begotten Son, Jesus ALONE as the Only Power to save us. Give us a sign of Your Goodness, that our enemies may see it and be put to shame. For You, O Lord who searches minds and hearts will continue to shield, help, comfort and save Your servants whose hearts are upright before You.

Father, we believe that every demonic-induced spirit of  destruction, temptation, addiction, rejection, self-hate, suicide, fear and failure is already defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindedness is being released now, in Jesus Name! We declare and decree that He who is pregnant with evil and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment. He who digs a hole and scoops it out will fall into the pit he has made. The trouble he causes recoils on himself and his violent schemes will come down on his own head!

Father, we rejoice  in confident quietness, trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shameful defeat! You have heard the voice of our weeping and our supplications and received our prayers as sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy, therefore You will not withhold Your Mercy from us! Your Love and Your Truth is a wall around us!

Abba Father, we align our spirits, soul and body with Your Eternal Word! Believing that our requests and supplications are done, we bow in obedient reverence before The Hope of all the earth, believing that as Your face shines upon us that, You are making Your ways and salvation known among all nations for You Guide and Rule justly! Father, we seal this prayer In The Exalted Name of Jesus with our Alleleujah! Amen 3X!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL EVERYBODY THAT JESUS LOVES YOU, YOU & YOU! #FRONTLINEMINISTRY

Life is challenging! WOW! Is that ever grossly understated?

If you can’t say Amen then like the ol’ saints used to say, ‘Jus keep getting up in the morning and going to bed in the evenings!’ Surely surely, sooner or later you’ll get the depth of the revelation, huh? Regardless of how your attempt to walk circumspectly, there is always going to be something or someone who’s sole purpose in existing is to challenge your peace, patience, prosperity, position or your purpose. #ijs

Here’s the clincher! Sometimes your worst adversity comes from your own house! I mean, one might expect opposition competing for a job, after all the unemployment rate being as high as it is. And of course, given the diminishing numbers of viable bachelors/bachelorettes these day you kinda know how steep the competition is for someone looking for the whole package (head, body and heart). But when you gotta overcome rejection and disrespect from those who are closest to you, even your own brothers and sistas, well that’s a beast of an entirely different species!

Most of the time when 1 Samuel 17 is preached or taught Goliath stands out as David’s most prominent archenemy! Yet, upon closer observation of the context, David faced serious opposition even before he dealt with the 10 ft. Philistine. Remember what happened that day God sent Samuel to anoint the next King of Israel? (Ref. 1 Samuel 16) Well, it was only after much resistance from his own Father, Jessie, that David was even considered an option. Isn’t it something when your own kinfolk can only see you the way you used to be or never acknowledge that where you are now is not necessarily your final destination?

Even more grueling, is rising above those who’re secretly intimidated by your desire to excel to dimensions beyond where they’ve chosen to settle in the comfort of complacency, paralyzed by their fears rather than risk failure. 

But the young shepherd boy had somehow learned that when you can’t find support or encouragement from without, you don’t give up! Flip the script by looking to the only One Who’s qualified to determine your true worth or define your destiny is The Creator and Giver of Life, The Lord Almighty! Down thru the years, David had learned how to draw strength and to encourage himself by trusting in the Unfailing Love he found in The Presence of His Shepherd, Yahweh, translated, I AM THE ONE, or I AM WHAT I AM!

While most of us can look back at those ‘almostsesses’  and rekindle those undeniable ‘look what the Lord has done moments’, sometimes it takes us a while to realize the folly of depending on self …and others, to get out of our mess, huh? Fortunately, when we do finally come to the end of ourselves, we must recognize that when God decides to bless you, it doesn’t matter who tries to curse you! In fact, I’d dare say that it behooves any who attempt to mistreat or abuse a Child of God, to be careful. God loves His children and doesn’t cotton much to those who seek their destruction. Oh Gggglorrra!

In the midst of foreboding clouds of impending threats, persecutions, peer pressure, hopelessness and despair, we jus gotta believe that nothing just happens! Inspite of all the circumstantial evidence, GOD IS IN TOTAL CONTROL of our steps and our stops! Needless to say, He rarely fills us in on the details, nevertheless He assures us that in Him, we are more than conquerors! (Ref. Romans 8:37) Hence, the precious personal revelations awaiting you as you place your faith in His Irrefutable Word, is well worth enduring the weight of confronting every challenge!

Beloved, God’s got a plan for your life and IT’S ALL GOOD AND YES, IT ALL TRUE! You jus gotta fight the good fight of faith to win! God appoints Divine Coincidences! NOW…IS THAT NOT A CAUSE? FATE OR FAITH?

SELAH Daily Devotions!

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum 1:7

 

One of those most prominent desires of humanity is a sense of security. Thanks to our progenitors, Adam and Eve, the moment that we submitted to the diabolic deception of The Tempter, Satan, we got what we wanted but lost what we had! Scriptures reveal the absolute perfection that they enjoyed walking in The Will of Creator God! Any and everything their pure hearts desired was readily available to them just for the asking. Yet, the one thing God required of them was the same thing that the devil used to lure them away from what God commanded, faithful obedience!

Since mankind’s expulsion from The Paradise of The Garden Eden, we’ve been trying to find our own piece of peace in the midst of this sin-fated world we’ve been forced to inhabit. Adding insult to injury, from the moment Abel’s blood hit the earth, all of Cain’s descendants, were destined to sojourn throughout the earth, cursed and marked for The Righteous Vengeance of The Lord! This spirit of rebellion soon gave way to anger, spiraling into murder nailing the coffin shut for any hope of returning to the blissful state of innocence and intimacy that once endowed God’s Most Precious Creation!
Despite the culmination of 21st Century’s technological achievements and the once unimaginable creative creature comforts and conveniences, a quick glance at any day’s breaking news headlines, confirm that man’s aspiration for attaining such lofty state of uninterrupted serenity, equanimity and freedom from disturbances continues to evade us!

BUT! Thanks Be To GOD! Jehovah’s Loyal Love (refusing to be denied) ordained before the foundation of the world, a Perfect Rest for anyone who cries out to Him earnestly, in sincere contrition for Salvation IN THE PERSON OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! (Ref. 1 Peter 1:20)

Sometimes, looking back from this side of Calvary’s Cross, it’s more convenient to blame the horrid conditions of our world on the careless apathy of our first parents. And, depending on the weight of the trial or struggle, we just might point our fist toward God. After all, HE’S GOD and HE could’ve stopped sin in it’s track, right? Yet, Wisdom and Grace soon deter us from persisting in such foolishness!

The truth of the matter is that the seed of sin has regenerated, thus degenerating our morality, perverting our sense of right and wrong to the extent that we can no longer trust in the arms of flesh, particularly our own hearts!

BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD!

In the midst of these perilous times, we need to know that God has prepared (by HIS Own Hand), a safe haven for those of us, who will place our personal trust, confidence and absolute reliance in the immutability of God’s Righteous Character: Holy, Just, Truth, Honor and Omnipotent Power!

When life is raging beyond what you can weather and the billows of trouble threaten to devour you, remember there is a prepared place of Refuge! In God, believers, escaping from the cares of this world, dwell under the Wings of Adonai and find rest and safety from hurt and harm in this life and the life to come!

“The name of the Lords a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” Proverbs 18:10

Beloved, the moment you make a conscious irretrievable decision to not lean to your own interpretations, but determine to acknowledge, from the seat of your soul, that regardless of all of the circumstantial evidence, God’s Unfailing Love shall never forsake you, you will begin to experience unspeakable Joy and overwhelming Peace that jus don’t make no sense! Didjaheardat? Awemaazing, huh?

YEP! TRUST2KNO, WHEN THE STORMS OF LIFE ARE AUDACIOUSLY RAGING AND THE  FRENZIED SURGE OF UNCERTANTY ARE THREATENING TO MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR FOOTING, THERE IS A DEATH-DEFYING ROCK OF REFUGE FOR THOSE WHO DARE TO COMMIT THEIR BEING TO THE FAITHFULNESS OF THEIR HEAVENLY FATHER…HIS NAME IS JESUS!

“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:11-13

 

Once again, The Apostle Paul finds himself in a life-threatening situation, being unjustly accused by his former peers, the Sadducees and the Pharisees, who now hold him in great contempt. Their hatred for Paul was so intense that they persisted, relentlessly, for several years to discredit and ultimately take his life and destroy his legacy! Regardless of how many times God frustrated their schemes, they were committed to his destruction. Kind of reminds me of the Devil, huh? And frightenly similar to the way some of the nation treated our President Barak Obama!  #Don’tshoutmedown nah!

However, Paul’s accusers failed to recognize that Paul was a man on a mission for God! Since his Damascus Road conversion, the newly ordained Apostle had become so in tuned with the purposes of God that he refused to allow external circumstances to determine internal perseverance. Paul had discovered the secret of drawing on Christ’s power for strength rather than trusting in his own ability! Paul’s revelation that Jesus Is Lord, therefore in control of everything, gave him the fortitude to persevere in the midst of persecution, confident that none of these things will move me! (Ref. Acts 20:24)

In this day of 21st Century Christianity many of God’s people have been dupped by hefty doses of the more contemporized “Gospel Lite Theology”! Hence, in their minds, once you surrender your life to Christ, everyday is gonna be a tip-toe thru the tulips awaiting the Trumpet sound when they’ll be transported to the Pearly Gates of The Celesterial City. Unfortunately, real-life does not remotely resemble Hollywood’s version. Being a Christian does not promise we won’t experience test, trials and even tragedies. However, it does mean that God will be with us all the way thru every single challenge that we’ll ever face!

As we walk with The Good Shepherd, maintaing a consistent gratitude for what God has already done, a  hopeful expectation for the future, relying solely upon the All Encompassing Sufficiency of God’s Grace, we learn the true meaning of  remaining steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the Faithfulness of God’s Love! (Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:58) #Didjaheardat?

I don’t care what’s or who’s threatenng to destroy your peace, today arm yourself with the same Spirit of Faith that motivated, not only The Apostle Paul but our Ultimate Role Model of a man on a mission, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Oh, by the way don’t even fret the pesty intimidations from demonic forces trying to take you out, remember Who created the bow and the archer! #ijs (Ref. Isaiah 54:16-17)

BELOVED, while it seems that this ol’ world is falling apart, never underestimate The Power  and Plan of God! Nothing happens except GOD ALLOWS! Holy Spirit reminded me that ‘EVERYTHING IS FALLING RIGHT IN PLACE!’

GOD HAS PERSONALLY STRATEGICALLY POSITIONED AND APPOINTED YOU IN THE EARTH AT THIS POINT IN ETERNITY TO REPRESENT THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN TO A LOST AND DYING WORLD! AND AIN’T NO DEVIL THAT HE CREATED, CAN WITHSTAND HIS HAND NOR THWART HIS PURPOSE! 

TRUST2KNO, In the Beginning GOD and when GOD decides to wrap it all up, HE’LL STILL BE GOD!  ‘I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, AND WHAT I HAVE ESTABLISHED, I FULFILL!’ 

REST ASSURED, SAINTS, AIN’T NOBODY GOD BUT GOD! #IJS STAND YOUR GROUND AND SHINE ON!

Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Corinthians 2:10

 

Well, at this writing, we are rapidly approaching the half-year marker of this new year that our God has so graciously allotted to us! Chances are, some of us have already dropped our bucket-list (resolutions) for this year, huh? While others, perhaps, are just so glad that we made it over, we welcome everything that the future can throw at us with open arms and a ‘anything that happens gotta be better than where I’ve been! #HaveIgottawitness?

I realize that for the self-righteous religious tribe, you’re still pumped, ready and determined to build upon last year’s successes and primed for the next dimension of your  personal aspirations and spiritual elevation! Howevvrrrr, for those of us, who truly love God with all of our hearts, spirit, soul and body, yet feel an intrinsic urging to apologize to Him each and every day because it’s a guarantee that at some point between the time you get out of bed and the time you crawl back into bed, you have inevitably fallen short of living up to God’s Righteous expectations of you, have I got some great news for you!

Life has trained us that the only acceptable way to embark upon each new beginning is with extreme gratitude, absolute humility and purity of hearts void of any resentment because God’s purposes did not live up to our best laid-out plans!

I know this seems a bit too ‘unconventional, irrelevant and unsound ol’skool theological’ to the 21st Century 7-11 spin of the New Millennium Church, nevertheless, given the fact that He is our Creator, God is perfectly justified in establishing specific standards of behavior for us to live by! Hence, it also stands to reason that because He has shown such unfathomable loving-kindness, tender-mercy and unmerited favor towards us, that the only reasonable response should be radical thanksgiving and faithful obedience! Yet, try as we may, left to our own efforts, we’re totally incapable of reaching this level of holy worship that God so richly deserves.

I mean, even those random days where we actually do some righteous things, will never equal out all our unrighteous thoughts, words and deeds! So we certainly can’t gloat on our egotistical star. However there’s yet Hope for our terminal dis-ease!

According to God’s Word, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

Truthfully, my precious ones, what God really expects from each one of us, is failure! And from sixty something years of personal experience, I can testify, with absolute confidence, that we can surely do! Royally! Can I get a Hallelujah and Amen 3x?

Dontchakno? It’s only when we come to the end of self and acknowledge our weaknesses that God is truly glorified!

For without Him, we can do absolutely nothing, however through Christ’s strength, we can do all things.(Ref. Matthew 19:26, Philippians 4:13) As long as we think we’re capable of doing anything on our own, we deceive ourselves and deny God the pleasure of delivering us from any and everything that is trying to hold us captive. That’s why The Bible encourages the weak to say I am strong. (Ref. Joel 3:10)

Therefore, it is with holy boldness and unspeakable joy-filled-anticipation, we humbly confess that the only thing standing between our strength and weakness, righteousness and wickedness, success and failure, is JESUS!

There is no failure in GOD! GLORRAAAA 2 GOD! Christ IN us, The Hope of Glory, guarantees our victory every single time! (Ref. Colossians 1:27)

Didjaheardat? WHO NU ACCOMPLISHING GOD’S  GREAT EXPECTATIONS WAS THAT EASY, huh?  ITZ A NEW DAY SO LET’S DO THIS!!!

And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry. Luke 15:20-24
The Gospels record 35 times that Jesus uses parables as a teaching aid. Literally, a parable is a story “cast alongside” a truth in order to illustrate that truth. In today’s vernacular a parable is as an inspired comparisons, or simply put an earthly story with a heavenly meaning!

Unlike like so many 21st Century preachers,  Jesus wasn’t just trying to spice up the message to keep the crowds entertained. His parables had a two-fold purpose. First, to reveal the truth to those who wanted to know it and to conceal the truth from those who were indifferent! You see, Jesus already knew that everybody who followed Him didn’t do so for the same reason. People are still people, huh?

You do know that everybody who comes into the church building doesn’t come looking to know Jesus, right? Some come just for a ‘kidz-size happy meal and a prize’! While others, like the Pharisee and the scribes, only come to pick up a few stones to throw at Jesus. Notice how they accused Jesus, “Look at Him, This man receives sinners and eats with them.” Spiritually blinded by their preconceived biases, Jesus already knew that they would dismiss His parables as irrelevant nonsense.  Yet, there were also a few sincere seekers of Truth who would eventually receive insight and reap the benefit and comfort of His Words!

Anything that you respect and honor you will pursue! Perhaps, that’s why the Pharisees could not understand why Jesus cared about ‘tax collectors and sinners’. Yall know how you go off when you can’t find your keys or the remote control. You put out an all-points-bulletin and nobody in the house can get any relief until it’s found! When you really desire something with all of your heart, mind, spirit and soul, whatever it takes to get it, is worth it all!

The text says that The Shepherd is so excited that He’s found the sheep that He throws a party to celebrate the safe return and everyone around Him is rejoicing with Him! (Ref. Luke 15:6-7)  Imagine that! I know we don’t get excited when folk get saved anymore, huh? But that’s exactly what happened back-n-da-day!

The next story is about a woman who loses a coin and refusing to give up, she searches until nightfall. Desperately she’s turning every piece of furniture upside-down, looking between the cushions on the sofa, behind the refrigerator, until she found it. You can imagine the joy and the relief she experience when she found it! (Ref. Luke 15:8-9)

This chapter ends with a the more familiar parable of the Prodigal Son! Sometimes we can get so caught up in the drama of the son’s partaayin so hard until he ended up in the pigs pen, that we miss the intensity of The Father’s Love and Compassion for his lost child. This is a picture of The Heavenly Father’s response to those who have yet to accept the glorious gift of Salvation purchased by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ! This is why God pursues sinners and why everyone of us should rejoice when a repented sinner returns to the sheepfold.

Recovering a lost sinner requires effort and patience! However, often times we develop an acute case of selective spiritual amnesia and forget what it took for us to get our testimony, huh? Do you know that most sinners have no idea that God is looking for them and even fewer believe that He loves them?  When you look at what Jesus gave up to save us, how should those of us, who call ourselves His disciples, be any less engaged in searching for the poor souls who have yet to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord! #ijs! No, it’s not always easy but  gratefully JESUS believed the reward  well worth the effort!

Shamefully, too many Believers still think that soul winning is the Pastors and Evangelist job! But that’s not what The Bible says! ‘And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation’ 2 Cor. 5:18

Jus wondering, what are you doing to bring the lost to Jesus? Are you content to enjoy the privileges of being saved? Is your heart burdened for those who are still lost? Are you willing to get up off the padded pew of do nothing and go into the field and hunt for those who are still outside of the house? (Ref. Matthew 9:37) If Jesus still associates with sinners, why don’t you? WOW! LOST & FOUND!

GOTTA MOMENT! GREAT!

Once again we are ecstatically glad that you’ve linked up with us today in our weekly Corporate Prayer and Fasting! With everything that going on in our nation and the world today, it behooves each one of us to stay close to the Altar…and linger in the midst of the Incense!! Amen?

JESUS, HE NEVER FAILS! JESUS, HE NEVER FAILS! HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY; BUT…JESUS NEVER FAILS! I’VE TRIED HIM! HE NEVER FAILS! I’VE TRIED HIM, HE NEVER FAILS. HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS WAY…BUT…JESUS…NEVER…FAILS!

AS WE’RE PRAYING WE’RE BELIEVING & DECREEING…

Abba Father, we come before You today, In the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, we come rejoicing, praising and thanking You for blessing us to see a brand new day. We thank You, Father for every opportunity to embrace and enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Daddy, we’re eternally grateful that You are The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. Not only have You have done so much for us, we can truly say that You’ve been better to us than we’ve been to ourselves! And certainly more than we could ever deserve! You keep right on blessing us over and over again!

As we embrace the day ahead, help us to start this day with a new attitude and loads of gratitude knowing that it’s only because of Your Grace that we’re kept safe from all hurt, harm and danger. Precious Jesus, help us to make the best of each moment that You have gifted to us! Lord Jesus, clear our minds so that we can hear from You and cleanse our hearts that we may deny ourselves, trust and obey Your Will.

Help us Lord to not whine and whimper over things we have no control. Open the eyes of our understanding that we are able to see sin through God’s eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when we sin, quicken our spirit to repent, and confess with our mouths every deed, word spoken or thought that was not pleasing in Your sight!

Sweet Jesus, we’re thankful that You, knowing our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion allow You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to all of our need! We believe and claim as You have promised the Gracious forgiveness that you offer to those who trust in You! We praise You today, from a heart open to, depending and relying only on You for renewing our strength, increasing our understanding and empowerment to accomplish Your Will bringing Glory and Honor to Your Name!

Father God, because no man can come to the Father except you draw them, Father we ask that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind that you draw and save the lost, and reclaim every back-slider and that You will direct their footsteps and place them and settle them into a church home today.

Father, we interceded on behalf of every unsaved soul, please quicken the Spirit of Godly-repentance in their heart and in their mind that they will come to you today and say “YES” to your Grace Gift and receive You as their Lord and Savior. Lord, we ask You to put a “COMMITTED YES” in the heart and mind of every backslider and let today be the day that they come back to You and come back to YOUR church.

Father, we pray that you will touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by all manner of sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer and at Your Word it is rebuked, dried up immediately and cast out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, your Word declares that your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, I pray for every believer whose heart may be overwhelmed by grief, confusion, worry, doubt, disappointment, rejection and fear yet they’re clinging to Hope in faith today, that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection, making ways out of no way, opening doors and closing doors, turning circumstances around for our highest good and Your Greatest Glory! We believing that Your Divine Favor is being poured out upon everyone now and their faith is rising to a level that they’re faithful and obedient to pay their tithes as You have commanded, releasing supernatural abundance in the area of finances, enabling them to not only come of of debt but also because they put You first, all their needs are met. In Jesus Name!

Father, we’re trusting that even in the midst of fiery trials, they will be preserved as You keep them covered in Your Peace, constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE, fully persuaded of Your Faithfulness, confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised us in Your Word.

Abba Father, as You continue to bless us,  we will be a blessing to others. Keep us strong that we may help the weak.. Keep us uplifted that we may have words of encouragement for others. We pray for those who are lost and can’t find their way. We pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. We pray for those who don’t know You intimately. We pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. We pray for those who don’t believe that You sent Jesus, not to condemn us, but to convict us and to free us from the power, pain and penalty of Sin.

Father, we’re lifting up our children, our children’s children by faith, as many of them are beginning a new school year, we’re committing them into Your care, realizing that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too; we have the blessed assurance that their steps are being ordered by Your eyes!
Father, we know that faith in God not only changes people, it changes me; and only You, O God have the Power to change things!  As we’re praying we’re lifting up all of our sisters and brothers and every family members and their entire households! We’re praying for peace, unity, love and joy to abound in our homes! For You have promised that Your Power is perfected in our weakness! 
We bless and thank You for our President Obama and Secretary Hilliary Clinton and their families. We thank you now that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper. We ask that You save and deliver Donald Trump, even as You touched others in the past, humbling them to bow before You and acknowledge that You as Lord!

We pray for every government, legislative,corporate and spiritual leader; that their hearts be continuously opened to hear and obey Your Will! Lord Jesus, we’re standing on Your Word as decreed that The government of this world shall rest upon YOUR shoulders and that You are The Eternal King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Father, we thanking You for a fresh outpouring of Your Divine Favor upon each and every one of Your precious children who are seeking employment, promotion, prompt approval for student/car/home loans and assure them that YOU are YET HE, Jehovah Jareh, who shall supply all of their need according to Your Riches in Glory!

Abba Father. we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, anxiety, addiction, perversion, depression, oppression, bi-polar mental conditions is defeated NOW because of Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness and Purpose is being released in the lives of Your people now, in Jesus Name!

Father we wait in confidence and quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame and defeat, running away from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, we thank You NOW, for WE believe that it is done! In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen x and It Is So!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT JESUS LOVES EVERYBODY!
