SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid, for YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:2-3

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isa. 49:16

 

In light of the prevailing gross darkness, devastation and desolation taking place in our world today, I was incited to review the words of God’s Prophet, Isaiah, speaking to the remnant of God’s Chosen nation.

God’s people were facing eminent danger of massive destruction, yet we hear Isaiah offering a word of warning and hope that we’d do well to glean from today. The Prophet encourages them that no matter what’s happening around you, don’t be afraid, but keep trusting and praising our God! Isaiah, knowing God inhabits the praises of His people, speaks to souls wearied by the consequences of unwise choices and reminds them that their only hope of deliverance was to remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of their Lord! (Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:58)

God is Holy, Righteous and Just! While He must punish the unjust, His Anger does not last forever! Unlike many of our earthly fathers, YAH is our Covenant-keeping God and remains a Faithful Father, Saving Strength, Shield, Provider and Redeemer to all who call upon Him! From His own Mouth, Abba Father promises to wipe away the tears from their faces and keep you in perfect peace because we trust in Him! (Ref. Isaiah 25:8, 26:3-4)

Beloved, when life is out of your control, rest assured, Jesus is always in control! The Eternal Word testifies that you are the apple of His eye and He has tatooed your name in the palm of His Hands forever. (Ref. Psalm 17:8; Isa. 49:16)

In the midst of these unsettling times,  there’s no denying the myriad of distractions that are attempting to cause even the most seasoned of saints to question whether or not The Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of All Life is really concerned about what’s going on down here amongst the gross darkness of a lost, unfaithful and rebellious world,  nevertheless, I adjourn you to keep your eyes on Jesus, The Joy of your Salvation and your feet steadfast on THE WORD! Be confident of this very thing, He that has begun a GOOD WORK IS FAITHFUL TO COMPLETE IT UNTIL THE DAY OF JESUS CHRIST! (Ref. Philippians 1:6)

Precious ones, when you can’t see no way, why not confuse hell and praiz JESUS anyhow! Don’tchaknow? At the mere mentioning of THE NAME OF JESUS demons tremble and the angelic host is put on alert!

Ooooh Yeah!  TRUST2KNO, The Great and Holy One of Israel is closer than ever before! Hence, don’t ever forget that YOUR GOD REMEMBERS!

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.  Jude 1:3

This probably won’t come as a newsflash, except to those who might’ve just landed on planet earth about an hour ago, OK? But here goes, we’re living in times that could potentially affect, even the very elect of God, with a highly-contagious disease! Left untreated the symptoms  have quickly escalated into a spiritually infectuous organism transmitting deadly viral weariness, discouragement, grief and hopelessness of pandemic proportions!!  Seriously! It’s as if the world, as we’ve known it, is spinning out of control around us and we’re being tossed, driven and engulfed by the undercurrents of Life!

As Saints of The Most High God, we’re subconsciously aware that long ago God’s Prophets predicted perilous times would come. However, now we’re experiencing in real-time God’s Revelation actually being fulfilled right before our eyes. For many of us, even with our eyes wide open and prayerfully watching, we yet have to admit, we never could’ve imagined days like this, right?

Satan, has strategically launched a full battery of assaults against the people of God and many of us are falling by the wayside, becoming casualties of war, not knowing ‘who’ our real enemy is!  It’s imperative that we recognize that when we surrendered our lives to Jesus, immediately were enlisted into The Lord’s Army and the world became a battlefield! Therefore, we must be on constant alert that our engagement is not against flesh and blood, but this war is against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this age and spiritual wickedness in high places who can’t be overcome by mere human strength (Ref. Ephesians 6:16).

While The Bible never promised us a gala-trouble-free life in this present world, God has given us Divine Assurance that we’re never alone. Hence, in the midst of intimidating chaos, drama and intense warfare, we stand fully persuaded that God is our refuge, strength, an ever-present Help, encouraging and enabling us to yet fight on. (Ref. Psalm 46:1).

We must also understand that God, The Captain and Commander of the Universe, has not deserted us leaving us defenseless, but has set us up with spiritual weaponry fully capable of not only infiltrating but completely annihilating the Devil’s camp and pulling down every stronghold that the enemy has forged against the children of God—THE WORD OF GOD!

You must realize that the Devil’s worst nightmare is coming up against an authentic born-again, sanctified, Holy-Ghost filled, confident, completely armored bona fide Believer! In the hands of a bold, fearlessly courageous True Believer, The Sword of The Spirit guarantees triumphant victory every time! (Ref. 2 Corinthans 10:4; Hebrews 4:12)

Despite the atrociousness or enormity of our personal tests or trials, Abba Father has decreed and declared that NO WEAPON formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, your VERY lifestyle of holiness and righteousness shall condemn any demonic-induced situation or circumstance that dares to confront or attempt to hinder you! (Ref. Isaiah 54:17) Didjaheardat? That’s the gospel TRUTH!

Beloved, we’re not of those who will tuck-tail and run; but we press on celebrating the same God who delivered you out of Egyptian bondage, is well able to keep you standing strong to the end!  Trust2Know, Your Majestic Eternal King JESUS always honors and rewards faithfulness with contentment, happiness and Godly peace! 

Your orders from headquaters are as follows, “Gird up the loins of your mind, you defenders of The Cross! Fall in to proper formation; pick up your weapons and stand steadfast, immovable, and ready to contend for the faith that was entrusted to you when you first believed! LO, I COME QUICKLY! RAZE HELL!” #OCCUPY UNTIL I COME!

Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now by this, I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is the truth. (1 Kings 17:24)
We’ve all heard it, probably said it ourselves! ‘We found Jesus’, as if He was lost, huh? It’s God who initiates the search and orchestrates the circumstances for the encounter. Truthfully, no man can know GOD except GOD reveals GODSELF.

I know we don’t often hear it preached these days; howeverrr, The Holy Scriptures still reveal to man The Wisdom of God! According to Proverbs 9:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”

God has so wondrously fashioned man so that the ultimate fulfillment of life can only be consummated through his pursuit of intimacy with his Creator! Unfortunately only a few are driven to forsake the lure of this world’s glitz and glamour to tread the least traveled remote pathways. But every once in a while, a isolated sojourner will catch a glimpse of The Hope that placing ones personal trust in Jesus makes available to any man!

But what is the fear of God? It’s the awe-inspiring adoring response to His Divine Character, HOLY (absolute sinlessness) and the reality of His Omnipotent Omniscient Omnipresence!

Only a fool denies the existence of GOD.(Ref. Psalm 14:1) Still too many, by failing to acknowledge Him, refusing to bow to His Majesty in their faithful obedient service, are determined to attain righteousness through their own understanding of good and acceptable behavior. And we all know how that turns out, k?

Today’s text illustrates God’s unmerited compassion to a widow in the midst of a distressing situation who dared to dismiss the visible, grab hold to the invisible (unseen to the natural eye) and take God at His Word!

Her initial response to the Prophet Elijah’s request and her acknowledgement of His God shows a measure of faith. When she did what the Man of God had required, she demonstrated that her faith had rose to another level. However, when she personally experienced the miraculous power of God by the resurrection of her son from the claws of death, her faith took an obvious quantum leap. It’s one thing to hear others testify of God’s Supernatural Power; but when you experience His Glory for yourself, you enter an exclusively different dimension of faith!

As believers in Christ, our earnest heart cry ought to be that everyone come to know who Jesus really is. But the reality is, that it’s incumbent upon each individual to pursue their own intimate personal relationship with the Creator. This relationship is only accessible through knowing The God Who Knows us!

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:12

While the gods of this world work relentlessly to distract us away from seeking a personal revelation of Our Loving Father,  we must always remember, that our enemies can do absolutely nothing, except God allows! Hence, as The Good Shepherd safely guides us through the fires, floods and the storms of this life, these experiences allow us to gain a fresh insight into the length, dept and width of His Loving Kindness and the Sufficiency of His Grace to any who demonstrates personal trust in Him through a lifestyle of faithful obedience!

It’s perfectly acceptable to seek wisdom; but understand this, Godly Wisdom is ONLY cultivated through KNOWING GOD KNOWS! #PEACETHRUINTIMACY

Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge uprightly among men? No, in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth. Psalm 58:1-2

The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked. Then men will say, “Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.” Psalm 58:10-11

 

To those who’re unfamiliar with the prose of The Psalmist, through the Scriptures penned by David, he might appear to be vacillating between schizophrenia and bi-polar disorders. Seriously! One minute He seems to be complaining about his circumstances and cursing his adversaries and without taking a breath, he’s translated into a state of euphoric ecstasy exalting His Shepherd! But isn’t that just what happens when we stop focusing on our problems and remember God’s Promises?

Can I be the first to confess? Over these past several years of continuous chaos and confusion resulting from the senseless murders of our young black brothers at the hands of trigger-happy tyrants who have sworn to protect the citizens of our nation, the incorrigible violence perpetrated against innocent victims of homeland terrorist and the escalation of systemic-institulized-racism spurred by the power of  the elite-executive-privileged,  I’ve found myself swinging from the pillar of justice to the post of revenge! And yes, I am still saved, sanctified, filled with the precious Gift of the Holy Ghost and do speak in tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance!

I’ve heard, that our nation was founded upon the Godly principles outlined in The Holy Writ, however just like many who lived in Old Testament times,  21st Century rulers do not always practice what they preach. Despite statistics that clearly contradict the rhetoric that is pumped out daily through mass media, we with unveiled faces cannot deny our own consciences nor deny our personal experiences in order to perpetuate the fallacious imagery projected by those who refuse to acknowledge nor assume responsibility for the injustices inflicted upon it’s only citizens who were enslaved and brought to this country involuntarily!

Perhaps, that’s what happens when you have ‘authority without accountability’, right? Well, like the ol’ skool preacha said, “I just lost ¾ of my church”, huh?

But! Those of us who have truly committed our entire lives, pledged our allegiance and complete reliance upon the Only Infallible-Written-God-Breathed-Eternal Word of God, aka The Holy Bible, yet know that our God loves justice and those who trust and obey HIM need never fear! Hence, in the end…HE WILL mete out perfect justice!

In the meantime, we must stand firm in faith, fully persuaded that nothing in the earth is hidden from His Presence! Hence, the righteous are assured that those who deliberately ignore and defy His Plan shall receive their just reward!

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 ESV

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy and gladness will be the reward of those who walk uprightly before Him, trusting solely in His Glory! THERE IS A GOD! #THE AVENGER!

WELL, AMERICA’S GREAT AGAIN, huh?  WOW!

Today despite of all the  predictions, our Nation has survived one more surprise attack, huh?  Who knu it would come from within the borders of our own democratic system? Nontheless, they say, ‘Liberty For All’, right? Well, I suppose that depends on one’s personal perspective. Nevertheless, we can agree on this, Freedom is not free nor is it cheap!

Yet,  I declare and decree, in Order to form a more perfect Unity, establish true Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain. establish, stand steadfast, immovable always abiding in THIS TRUTH, that despite all of this sophisticated technological security advancements of  the 21st Century,  that the safest place in the whole wide world yet remains “smack-dabb” in the middle of GOD’S PERFECT WILL!!!

While many families are still struggling to cope and recover from the distress of 911, the increase in the random killings of young students,  senseless massacre of innocent kindergarteners at Connecticut’s Sandy Hook Elementary,  bomb blasts  abruptly interrupting The Boston Marathon , suicide bombings at airports globally, lunatics open-firing on random citizens out enjoying an afternoon movie, shopping at the local mall and evenings at their favorite niteclubs, and we cannot forget those who arbitrarily invade the sanctify of Bible Study and Prayer Meetings, each of which so obviously re-enforce the new-now reality! America has changed forever! Hence, that somewhat nonchalant attitude that we once held viewing  media broadcasts detailing the slaughter of civilians in other countries has given way to a national sense of restrained anxiety and anticipation.

The false sense of serenity that our nation once enjoyed has now converted to sporadic rampant acts of violence, devastation and destruction. In the after mass, we see a socieity of proud Americans struggling to present a united front, clinging, crying, comforting, praying together in an attempt to let the world know “We’re proud to be Americans; United we stand and God bless America”!

Now don’t shout me down! Trust me, I’m just as patriotic as anyone. I am grateful that God destined me to be born in this country. However, first and foremost, I’m a Christian; a citizen of The Kingdom of God! Therefore I am compelled to plead on behalf of all my fellow countrymen, “America, bless Our GOD!”

None can deny that God has been so merciful to America. Time and time again, God has proven Himself to be so near to us. Our nation’s history confirms that God has continuously reached out to assure us, “My children, we are in this thing together…forever. I am here to help you. I am your shield and your buckler; I am as close as the very breath you breathe. I am fully and totally committed to you.” Unfortunately, just like the Israelites in Bible days, this nation has persisted in boldly rejected GOD’s Way, insisting on doing things our way, legislating unrighteousness!

Well can I offer my most solemn suggestion; my fellow Americans, instead of trying to pass the buck, we need to repent. Why spend so much time, money and attention pursuing false gods? We don’t need another God to save us! We just need to turn back to the One True Foundation of this great nation. It’s time to bend our knees, bow our hearts, and surrender our praise and worship to The True and Living God our Lord Jesus Christ. Clearly, everything that we will ever need is in Him.

What’s the point of having another National Day of Prayer if we have no intention of changing? I mean, can you imagine the stinch that’s seeping into The Throne Room of His Grace and Mercy? #yukyuk! Awemazingly, The Living God is waiting for His Chosen People to humbly cry out in sincerity to Him, (actually repenting) and return to the Rock of our Salvation! Remember, God has promised that in the midst of troubling times, we’d find Him to be a Very Present Help.

“Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 1:3

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12-13

 

Over the past two decades, there’s been a lot of controversial debate concerning whether or not we should allow access to a certain medication that’s being distributed indiscriminately in other countries. I’m talking about the ‘morning after pill’! Not surprising, most of the dialogue is not so much about the potential threat or the adverse physical side effects resulting from ingesting these drugs but rather, whether or not you accept or reject the implicated morality issue.

While the medical field and the pharmaceutical industry may, or not, have their own interests in pursuing the mass distribution to the public at large, my heart leans towards the individuals who persistently engage in leisure sexual promiscuity, irregardless of the eternal consequences of their activities. Evidently, many are convinced that all they have to do is gulp down a pill in the morning, swallowing away any chance of an unwanted conception and juskeepasteppin! After all, it’s their own personal right, right?

Can you imagine what our lives would be like without accountability? Well, guess what, we don’t have to go very far to discover that many of us live everyday as if one day we all will NOT have to take responsibility for the deeds we’ve done in our bodies. (Ref. 2 Corinthians 5:10)

Fortunately, The Omniscient Father of Grace and Comfort, knowing the frailty of our human flesh and our proclivity to be drawn to that forbidden fruit, refused to abandon us, leaving us doomed to our own sin-lusting appetite. That’s why Jesus, prayed asking the Father to send The Promise, The Holy Ghost, to abide in us to help us, not just to do the right thing, but giving us a pure desire to want to do right! (Ref. John 14:16-18)

As born-again, blood-washed believers, sometimes it’s not easy to deny self and go the way of faithful obedience. Especially when life gets difficult. Despite doing all we know to do to walk pleasing to God, there’s a part of us that just wants to throw in the towel. “What’s the point, right?”

The point is that we have Help and Hope that’s beyond this world. The Word of God assures us that while the journey of this life is not without its own share of suffering, pain, rejection, disappointment and despair, we’re not home yet!

Yes!  We, as children of The Day, have a dual citizenship!  BUT,  the pathway to Glory is not without dips, slips, detours and sporadic dead-ends! Yet! We have A Glorious Truth awaiting us!

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21

My precious brothers and sisters, HOLD ON TO HOPE! THERE WILL BE GLORY IN THE MORNING… AFTER THIS!

Being next to the oldest of seven kids, I can’t remember exactly when the desire for personal playmates sprouted. Perhaps, that’s why my social skills were noticeably under-developed when it came to fitting in with ‘other than sibling’ cliques. I guess you’d call that shyness, huh? Needless to say, I was generally the least likely to be picked first in just about everything! Every now and then someone would dare to look beyond the outward appearance and see a real me thereby forging relatively long-term fellowships! Hence, down thru the years I’ve learned to treasure my short list of BFF’s!

In retrospect, who knows what unknown paths of destruction The Sovereign Lord was re-directing me out of? Lord knows I’ve had my share of unrecognized ‘BUT GOD’ experiences and am eternally grateful that I survived to tell it! Topping the list will always be my day of personal revelation of The God who knows everything about me, from the inside out, and yet loves me unconditionally faithfully! Until I met Jesus, I never imagined that I was already accepted and beloved by the TRUE SOURCE of Life and Love! (Ref. Ephesians 1:6)

WOW! After all the time I’d spent trying to escape the pain, punishment and penalty of being born naughty by nature, only to discover that I could not do it on my own. It took The Power of God, to re-create and re-purpose me to live free to glorify my Creator! While we’re so busy with the ‘going and getting’ business of life, cluelessly running away from HIM, we miss His Voice drawing us to rest in His Presence, Power and Peace! Whoknu?

Before the foundation of the world, GOD The Father ordained that The RESTORER of EVERY breach, the BRIDGE from death to life, JESUS, to heal ALL the brokeness of our soul’s infirmities and to preserve us thru the EMPOWERING PRESENCE of HOLY SPIRIT, as we sojourn in this world awaiting the ultimate translation to our eternal reunion in Heaven!

Shamefully, in our relentless pursuit of the riches of this world (with no regard for the consequences), too often we neglect The One who is constantly pursuing us, longing to fulfill the intimate fellowship!

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27

Knowing that God intends for us to live happy, healthy and whole abiding in the indwelling Spirit of Jesus Christ allows you and I to enjoy  a lifestyle of unimaginable favor found only in an incomparable eternal personal relationship with the INFINITE new BFF, HOLY SPIRIT! #howboutU? #REALLY?

But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to god must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.’ Hebrews 11:6

 

The other day I heard someone say something that I thought was quite profound, at least thought provoking. It was said that “we are swirling towards eternity at the speed of life!” History is being written every day. Memories are being made, every day. Lessons are being taught and learned, every day. Attitudes are being formed and developed, every day.

As I began to think about this, several questions flooded my mind. First, does God’s Presence influence your life? How has the Presence of God influenced your life? What impact has God’s Presence made in your circle of influence?

We love to sing the song, “Jesus you are the center of my joy, all that’s good and perfect comes from you; you’re the Heart of my contentment, Hope for all I do….” But when the music stops, how’s your walk?

The Bible does not merely ask us to have faith to believe that God does exist. But we must also believe that God is who He says He is, that God is with us and that God is for us. (Ref. Hebrew 11:6) Accordingly, if we desire to please The Lord we must walk out our lives under the influence of His Presence that we may exemplify our beliefs throughout the course of daily living.

Does your character reflect the Presence of God in your life? Does the influence of God’s Presence affect the choices that you make? Does your life style reflect the influence of God’s Presence?

We are living epistles (letters) and folk are reading our mail, every day! How is the Presence of God in you influencing your readers? Just a thought! #ijs (Ref. 2 Corinthians 3:1-3)

The Bible says, we are the salt of the earth. I believe that means that we ought to make someone who doesn’t know God, thirsty for a drink of The Living Waters. (Ref. Matthew 5:13-14)

As Christians, our greatest desire should be to allow the influence of God’s Presence to be reflected on those around us so much so that it provokes them to envy  and thirst for The God that we worship and  ultimately seek to claim Him as their personal Savior and Lord! 

Looking back, perhaps there where many times when we almost, and unfortunately, even more times where we flat-out missed opportunities to Glorify God! Nevertheless, as this year slips into eternity past, instead of lingering in the land of pouting and doubting remember that BUT…by God’s Grace, we all have another opportunity to begin, again! 

KEEP IT MOVING! LIVE EACH DAY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF GOD’S PRESENCE IN YOUR LIFE! 

May you embrace a productive and prosperous New Year!

As them ol’ skool saints used to say, ‘all those who know the word and worth of prayer’ let’s us pray believing that God hears and answers according to the Power that works within us! Shall we pray?

 

Here we are to worship! Here we are to bow down! Here we are to say that You’re Our God! You’re altogether Worthy, altoether Lovely, altogether Wonderful to me! I’ll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that Cross! IWell never know how much it cost…so here we are to worship and bow down before The True Savior and Lord.of all….

 
Heavenly Father, we come together now thanking you for this day, for this is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless You Lord Jesus for making a Way for us to approach The Throne of Mercy with a holy boldness and confidence that You sit on The Right Side of The God Who Is, Was, and Shall Eternally Be The One True God, Creator and Sustainer of Everything!

Father, we come today blessing You for the day that You opened our hearts enabling us to recognize and receive the saving Grace in the Life, Death, Burial and Resurrection of Your Son, Jesus! We acknowledge that because it pleased You, you choose us to be Your very own children, while there was absolutely nothing in us lovable nor worthy of this honor and privilege!

Lord Jesus, we are eternally grateful that You purposed in Your Heart and by Your Own Hand, You are The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We’re thankful that because You know our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion allow You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and forgive our iniquities to see and minister to every one of our need!

Lord, today we come revently praying for all our sisters and brothers. We ask that The Prince of Peace fill our hearts and our homes with peace, love, hope, joy, patience with contentment as we lean and depend upon Your Faithfulness! We ask believing for immediate debt release, trusting that all their financial needs are met, and they have more than enough to be a blessing to others.

Father, we’re asking You to touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, high/low blood pressure, heart disease, kidney, lung failure, satanically induced depression/oppression/addictions and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, your Word declares that your stripes have redeemed and healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, we pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection. 

Heavenly Father, we’re asking that You preserve them thru the tests that they must go thru and keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word. 

Abba Father, we lift up our political, social, judicial, business, religious leaders, asking a special blessing upon each one! We pray that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, marketplace and churches that will cause those who are in their sphere of influce to love, trust and to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

Father we pray that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, failure, hopelessness and disappointment be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness be released now, in Jesus Name! We’re trusting that each morning of this new year Your children will awaken with assured grace to accomplish every assignment and earnest hope-filled tomorrows!

Lord, we pray as you have commanded in Your Holy Word, for all our enemies, and those who have used and abused me, and have lifted up their hands and their tongue against me. I now forgive them for all they have done. In Jesus Name, for I am a Child of God.

Father, we pray for every eye that reads and says this Prayer come to know that there is no problem, no circumstance, no situation that is greater than God, for God is greater than all, God is greater in all, God is greater through all, and God is greater upon all. For You God, are the Most High God Almighty of all the Universes is truly the Greatest of All.

Father, we are so grateful that as we continue to walk closely with You, we understand that every battle that we have and will ever encounter in our lives is always in the absolute control of Your Loving hands, for You, O Lord have Sovereignly Ordained everything to work together for my highest good and Your Greater Glory!

We pray for every one who has for whatever reason walked away from you shall be provoked by the anointing that is on our prayer, to come back to you today and that you will put a new ‘YES LORD’ in their hearts and a willful obedience in their spirit to live the rest of their lives faithful and committed to Your WILL (WORD) and WAYS!

Father God we ask that anyone reading this prayer, wondering why they even find themselves reading it, will bow their hearts toward You now, confessing their need for you in their lives, acknowleging your Amazing Love towards them, in appreciation will invite The Lord Jesus Christ to come into my life and change my heart now! Thank You Father that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, my Lord, my Savior, and my King, and confess this day and every day that I am highly FAVORED by God and man.!

Sweet Jesus, we pray that these words be believed, received and accepted into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every tongue that confesses them in name of Jesus Christ!

Lord Jesus, we know that there’s much more we could’ve, should’ve said but we know that because You are able to discern the intents of our hearts, we pray believing,  expecting, receiving and accepting God’s miracles in our lives this day and every day, for God’s Divine favor is now our heritage, in Jesus Name. Amen 3x! It is done! Alleluia!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

“The rich get richer and the poor get poorer!” Ever heard that ol’ addage? I was thinking about the Wall Street moguls, sitting in penthouse corner offices, puffing on expensive cigars, bellowing out orders to their subordinates, (who’re most likely in some crowded rooms filled with discarded ticket tapes with the I-Phones glued to their faces) ‘Buy low; sell high’! ‘Buy now; sell it now’! We’ve seen Hollywood’s behind the scenes depictions of the ‘the powers that be’ conducting transactions that keep the big ballers on top and the rest of us clamoring to make ends meet!

Down thru the years, we’ve watched the rising and collapse of major financial institutions, heard stories of CEO’s jumping out of windows at the threat of bankrupty, the accusations and a few convictions of corporate corruption as a means to topple their competitors to gain or maintain ‘top dog’ recognition and witnessed the slander of whistle-blowers who dared to expose the tyranny of boardroom shenanigans all in the name of capitalism!

As you’ve probably determined, having no personal knowledge, experience nor a financial portfolio, I can only assume that there’s a whole lot of insider information involved that the rest of us are generally not privy to.

However, I do know a thing or two about Kingdom Economics! I know that God can do big things in tight places! How do I know, I’ve seen Him do it! I’ve seen Grand-Ma take a pound of chicken livers, mix it with a couple cups of rice, bake a pan of biscuits and turn it into feast to feed a family of fourteen! I’ve seen Mama mete out the equivolent of a two week paycheck over a month of expenses! I experienced the Hand of God drawing a spiritually drought, emotionally-hopelessly distraught, physically battered, single Mom into the Fountain of Life-giving Love, transforming her entire being in unimaginable ways from the inside out!
Oh don’t get it twisted! This was (is) not a one-and-done fix! But by the ever-increasing empowering Grace, we learn to lean and depend on the in-dwelling Presence of Holy Spirit. Who knu?

God is so determined to confound the wisdom of this world that He chooses those least likelys to be reflectors of His Glory! The greatest thing about the process, is that God is the One who begins and completes the work! Talk about guaranteed success, huh?

Ain’tdatamazing? Our Heavenly Father, already knew the frail-fickled-flaws of our flesh, yet before the foundation of the world, stragetically implemented His Plan to reconcile and restore those created in His image back unto God-Self through The Sacraficial Atoning Blood of His Son, Jesus! Now, God’s Spirit living on the inside of us enables us to live everyday shining His Light in the midst of the gross darkness of this world! That’s the Gospel of Salvation! WOW!

Sometimes, looking at ourselves and the surmounting circumstantial evidence, it’s easy to believe that your spiritual maturity is in the red and become discouraged, huh? BUT don’t give up! Remember, ‘Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.’ 1 John 4:4) Hence, God will never give up on you until He sees Jesus’ image in you!

Jus knowing that God loves you ‘despite of-just-because’ should make u grab hold to the Hope of His Divine Help and His Healing Presence, in confident humility and grateful obedience—until He completes His Work in you! #ijs #INSIDE ADVANTAGE!
