You’ve probably heard or seen the movie entitled “ARE WE THERE YET?”

Many of my fellow kinsmen in Christ have found ourselves trapped in this dilemma (whether or not we’re willing to acknowledge it publically or even privately). What am I talking about? In a hurry, but going nowhere fast! While many who  has professed a sincere desire to obediently follow after the heart of God, life has a way of teaching us that it’s not a ‘one and done’ phenomena but more like ‘a little by little’ process, huh?

Two of the greatest deterrents to successfully reaching our goals are contentment and indulgence! I’m not trying to negate the validity of The Apostle Paul’s revelation “Not that I speak in respect to want, for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (Philippians 4:11) GOD FORBID! However, if we linger here too long, our contentment becomes a comfort zone that could potentially diminish our hope, dreams and drive for attaining better…there!

God promised to bring His Chosen people into their good land, flowing with milk and honey! But they got so comfortable going around Mount Horeb that they were willing to settle for a piece of God’s Promise! This was unacceptable! So God intervened reminding them that not only is partial obedience is disobedience but it also robs Him of the opportunity to fully express His Glory!

Oh yeah, the Israelites were free from Egyptian slavery. They’d seen with their own eyes Pharaoh and his army drowned in the Red Sea! That’s all good, right? But God had told them GREATER WAS COMING! Now,  we can’t keep pointing our fingers at them Israelites without looking back over our own lives and recognizing how many times we settled for less than God was offering. Remember when they said, ‘a piece of a man is better than NO MAN at all’, huh? How did that work out for ya? Okay?

Have you noticed how the New Millennium church has gotten away from praying for deliverance these day?  Don’t shout me down, yall! #ijs! Perhaps, it’s because true deliverance requires discipline! And we all know, ain’t nobody got time for dat! We want everything now! So to appease our conscience we settle for indulgence, ‘I ain’t what God wants me to be, BUT…at least I ain’t where I used to be’! Huh? Don’t  you look at me with dat tone of voice!

But Thanks Be To God Who is still able to redeem the time! God said, “It’s time to head northward! Shake the dust of compromise off your feet and keep it moving—FORWARD”!

Didjaheardat? God IS reminding us that “the race is not given to the swift neither to the strong, But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved”Matthew 24:13  Hence, as long as you have breath in your body,  you have a chance to possess everything GOD Promised, as long as you don’t give up. Oohhh Glorraa!!!

Beloved, today God is inviting you to exhale the fear and doubt and inhale the Breath of His GRACE and getta steppin!

It’s timeout for just singing about it! Pull yourself up out of the pit of complacency, procrastination and stagnation and GO GET UR BLESSING!

Why settle for little when God’s promised you BIG! ARE YOU ‘THERE’ YET? SERIOUSLY?

Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
Lamentations 3:57

Some saints would have you to believe that since they’ve been saved, they’ve never experienced a moment of fear, grief or despair. Oh, yall know what I mean! Listening to their church testimony, you’d think that all their days were ‘goody, goody and howdy, howdy, cascading down tulip filled pathways’!  Okay, well Bless God, let me be the first to raise both my hands and confess, I not there yet. I guess I’m still a work in progress! But perhaps, I am not the only one, huh?

According to our text, Jeremiah, aka The Weeping Prophet, came to realize that neither his great love for nor his faithful obedience to God exempted him from suffering depression, sorrow and fear. Ironically, Jeremiah’s tears didn’t stem from personal defiance but rather the insolence of his fellow-countrymen. The prophet’s heart was broken and burdened because his beloved nation was facing imminent destruction due to their continuous rebellion against God.

Instead of God’s chosen people gratefully heeding Jeremiah’s warnings, the Prophet’s concern was repeatedly met with murderous bitter resentment. Jeremiah was beaten severely, thrown into an empty cistern, and left to die for daring to tell the people the Truth. According to the scriptures, there Jeremiah called out to God and God responded with  A GRACE WORD … ‘fear not!’

While there’s some degree of solace in knowing we, the Elect of God, are in this world, BUT we’re not of this world, nonetheless we, like Jeremiah, will also endure times of suffering due to the ungodliness of others. The degradation of morality and diminishing respect for life in general, often lead us down into pits of muck and miry clay. Relationships drive us to the edge and end of ourselves, through valleys of ‘don’t know what else we can do’ and onto the intersection of ‘helpless to change our condition’—yet we are never without this Hope—our deliverance is always just a prayer away! One short faith-filled “HELP ME, LORD JESUS!” releases The Power and The Glory of God—right on time, every time!

In the midst of your turmoil, has God ever whispered a Rhema Word  into your belly that instantly checked your spirit, jump started your hope and restored your peace, right?  Just One Word can flip the script, strengthen your heart, renew your mind, quicken your faith, stir up the Holy Ghost, Who empowers you with that second wind that catapults you to run on, convinced that, ‘Yeah Baby! WE GOT THIS!’ (Ref. Isaiah 40: 30-31)

Don’t be scarred! God’s near! Let Hell know WHO YOU KNOW, WHOSE YOU ARE AND WHOM YOU SERVE!

Oh yeah! ONE WORD FROM GOD CHANGES EVERYTHING!

Good Morning Family, GOT A MOMENT? AWEMAZING!

Once again, we’re excited that you have joined us today in our Weekly Day of Corporate Prayer and Fasting. As we approach The Throne Room of our King, with up stretched arms and open hearts, we’re eternally grateful for the privilege that He has afforded every believer to enter into His Presence, casting all of our care upon Him and finding Mercy, Grace and Very Present Help in these vexing times!

WE TURN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS AWAY FROM ALL THE NOISE, ALONE WITH YOU, WE WAIT TO HEAR YOUR VOICE…NOTHING ELSE MATTERS… BUT TO WORSHIP YOU, I LIVE…TO WORSHIP I LIVE, I LIVE TO WORSHIP YOU..JESUS…OOOHHH…OOOHHH…With up stretched arms, empty hands and open hearts, SHALL WE PRAY?

 

Abba Father, we come before You today, In the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, rejoicing, praising and thanking You for blessing us to see this brand new day. Acknowledging that it was not because of any goodness of our own that we live, move and have our being, we quickly thank You, Heavenly Father, for another opportunity to embrace and enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Heavenly Father, it is with unspeakable joy that we thank You for being The God of our Salvation, Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. With heartfelt humility and sincere gratitude, we recognize that it’s only Your Grace, Compassion and Faithfulness that allows You, knowing our frame, to continue to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities. forgiving us and minister to all of our need!

From our hearts open, depending and relying solely upon You, we offer up our thanksgiving laced with precious praises to You today, for we revere and extol You as The Only Wise Savor and Lord of Life!

Father, we come this morning thanking You for choosing us to be Your very own children! Because of Your Lovingkindness towards us, we can now declare and unashamedly decree that we are joint-heirs to Your Kingdom and You are Our God, our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. While our future remains a mystery, we have the confidence that by Your Grace, You have restored our strength, understanding and power, equipping us with everything that we need to carry us through one more day.

Lord Jesus, because we know that You already know everything that’s happening in each of our lives, our families, our communities, our nation, we’re so grateful that You are yet in absolute control of all things! Father while we slept safely in our homes last night, we know that there will be reports of shootings, robberies, accidents and all manner of maladies, and we will not fail to thank You, for it was only You who kept us alive! We’re so very thankful that even amidst these days of impending chaos, threats, hatred, anxiety, fear, confusion, deception and destruction, the safest place in this whole world is still in YOUR PERFECT WILL! 

Precious Lord, we ‘re believing that while we’re experiencing an unexpected shaking of this nation that You are setting up a massive exodus and deliverance! We’re trusting that a Spirit of Godly-repentance is is swelling up all over this world and that the end result will be multitudes of lost souls shall be saved and those who have walked away from You shall be re-claimed! Father, we’re trusting that Holy Spirit is imparting a ‘COMMITED YES’ into their heart and in their mind that provokes those who are outside of The Ark of Covenent Grace, will come to you today and receive You as their  personal Lord and Savior. We thank You now for blessing them, directing and settling them into a local church home today, where they will be embraced with Love, encouraged, nurtured, taught so that their lives are transformed by The Glory of The Lord!

Lord, we pray for every soul who is going thru a season of grief because of the lost of a loved one, those whose lives have been victimized and bankrupted by divorce, lost of employment, disappointment, hopelessness and despair! We plead The BLOOD OF JESUS over every demonic thought, Spirits of anxiety, oppression, depression and confusion, because we know that You are not the author of these confusing demonic thoughts and feelings, but You have given us who have put our personal trust in Your Son Jesus, Your Righteousness, Love and Joy in The Holy Ghost!

Abba Father, as we entreat Your Presence, we lift up every believer who is yet holding on to your Hand by faith today, that You will release a double anointing of Your Divine Peace, Power, Supernatural strength, provision, prosperity and protection!

Sweet Jesus, we’re believing that while we’re yet praying, You will strengthen us to persevere thru every test that You have allowed, confidently assured that You will bring us out restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward us as You have promised in your Word! Lord, as we walk through the valleys, we ask that You anoint us for such a time with supernatural confidence, courage empowering us with an overwhelming consciousness of Your Abiding Presence and the immutability of Your Word!

Almighty Father, we pray, according to Your Will, for the leaders of our nation, be that goverment, corporate, judicial, education and financial institutions! We’re believing that You will touch their minds and break up the fallow hearts, speak to them in dreams and visions, let them know that You Who Sit Enthroned Above the Heavens is keeping record of the deeds of every man’s heart and will reward accordingly!

Father, as we lift up our spiritual leaders, we’re asking a special blessing upon each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit. We pray that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in love, trust wholly in and to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

We pray, Heavenly Father, that You will stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name! We believe that You  are increasing their desire to make our election sure, walking circumspectly in pursuit of an even greater personal, intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father through fellowship of Holy Spirit that we might prove what is the perfect and acceptable Will of The Lord Jesus for our lives!

Father, as we pray, touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by all manner of sickness and disease, especially the Spirit of cancer, dementia, Alzheimer, stroke, heart disease, kidney failure, arthritis, bi-polar depression and glaucoma! Lord,  rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Heavenly Father, You are Alpha and Omega, the same yesterday, today and forever! Even as you walked in this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re Well Able and Willing to do the same right now! Lord Jesus, Your Word declares that Your stripes have redeemed us from our sin, but has also healed us and we’re yet standing on your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! Amen 3x!

Lord, we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of temptation, anxiety, addiction and fear be defeated by Your Burden Removing Yoke Destroying Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and a Sound-mind is being released now into the lives of all those who are calling on You, in Jesus Name!

Father we wait in confident quietness, rejoicing in hope and trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling, suddenly departing in shame and disgust, is now retreating in defeat because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayer as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Abba Father, we stand in agreement with You, Who hears ours prayers and forgives our transgressions! Holy Father, because You have personally chosen us and brought us near to live in Your House, we shout with joy unto The One to Whom all men will come! We yield all that we have, all that we have and all that we hope to be, in obedient reverence before The Hope of all the earth, believing that as Your face shines upon us that, You are making Your ways and salvation known among all nations for You Guide and Rule justly!

Heavenly Father, we thank You NOW, for WE believe that IT IS DONE! In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Amen 3X and It Is So!

Now every child of God who is standing in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY THAT JESUS STILL CARES!

Good morning Precious Saints of The Most High God! GOTTA MOMENT? AWESOME!

We’re delighted that you have joined in today as in our weekly Day of Corporate Fasting and Prayer. As we go before The Lord, please pray for the Saints everywhere! We understand that the enemy has launched a decree to destroy the Hope and Joy of God’s elect, particularly the next generation! But God says that the violent shall pursue, recover and conquer everything that God has given us. AS WE’RE PRAYING WE ARE BELIEVING & DECREEING…Our children are our gifts from God! The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but Mighty through God for the pulling down strongholds…

 

JUS ANOTHER DAY, THAT THE LORD HAS KEPT ME! JUS ANOTHER DAY THAT THE LORD, HAS KEPT ME! HE HAS KEPT ME FROM ALL EVIL; WITH MY MIND STAYED ON JESUSSSS! JUST ANOTHER DAY THAT THE LORD HAS KEPT ME! Our Father and our God, as we come before You today, in the Magnificent, All Powerful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, we’re yet determined to rejoice, praise and thank You for blessing us to see this day ! Looking back, we know that it was no goodness of our own but solely Your Faithful Love that has allowed us to be here to see one more brand new day! Because of Your Benevolence, we thank You, Holy Father for the opportunity of today and to enjoy the abundance of Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Power and Your Peace!

Father, with eternal gratitude we bless You for allowing us to enter into Your Throne Room, with hope-filled expectation, trusting You will entreat us graciously as we pour out the burdens that seem to overwhelm our hearts, releasing everything that concerns us to you!

Father, we come today blessing You for the day that You opened our hearts enabling us to recognize and receive the saving Grace in the Life, Death, Burial and Resurrection of Your Son, Jesus! We acknowledge that while there was absolutely nothing in us lovable nor worthy of this honor and privilege, BUT because it pleased You,You choose us to be Your very own children!

Abba Father, we are eternally grateful that You purposed in Your Heart and by Your Own Hand, to be The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We’re thankful that You, intimately aware of our frame, yet Faithfully, Compassionately and Graciousiously continuously looks beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to every one of our need!

Heavenly Father, we are so thankful that You knowing the very thoughts and intends of our hearts, see that our hearts are open to, depending and relying only on You! We’re believing for renewed strength, understanding and power that comes from trusting in Your Lovingkindness and Tender Mercy! Lord Jesus, because we know that You are Omniscient, Omnipresent, You already know everything about everyone of us, nevertheless You welcome us to come to You, to find Grace and Mercy, to comfort, strengthen and encourage us to hold on to every Word that You have spoken over our lives, before we were born.

Daddy, standing humbly before Your Sovereignty, before we go any further, we ask You to forgive us for everything that we, your children, have spoken, done and even thought that was not pleasing in Your sight. We thank You now because You have assured us that if we would confess our sins, You, being Faithful and Just, will forgive us, and wash us in The Precious Blood of Jesus, cleansing us from all unrighteousness, and restoring the breach that our disobedience has caused between our poor souls and our Lord and Savior, Jesus! Now, we ask Holy Spirit to intercede on our behalf, our family, our friends, even our enemies, as we know that Your love is the same for each and everyone of us!

 

Abba, we know that You have instructed us, to look not at the temporary things, but to the eternal, yet because of the frailness of our flesh, we’re easily provoked and tempted to become overwhelmed by the cares of this world, allowing our hearts to be burdened with the pressures of this life! Lord You know that too many of us are wearied with fear, doubt, unbelief, sickness and disease, financial debt, broken relationships, unprovoked threats, depression, addictions, insecurities. Lord you know that sometimes we lose our focus on You causing our days to be spent beneath clouds of evil foreboding, while our nites are plagued with restlessness, despondency and hopelessness! Lord, keep us in Your Will, as only You can!

 

Lord, we thank You for being a Listening God! Because The Bible teaches us that Blood yet speaks, hence we are fully persuaded that Your ears are not deaf to the cries of our fathers, Grandfathers, husbands, brothers, sons, nephews and cousins all over this world, even these UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Therefore, as Your ears are tuned into the blood of those who have been struck down in our streets and is still crying out from the cracks in the ground, we’re believing You are The God of  Perfect Justice and Vindication!

 

Sweet Jesus, because no man can come to the Father except you draw them, we ask that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind, that you draw and save the lost, reclaim every back-slider and direct their footsteps to their local church home today. We’re believing that all of our unsaved loved ones and friends will be saved and join our Eternal Family!

Father, touch our brother, touch our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer, high/low blood pressure, heart disease, kidney, lung failure, satanically induced depression/oppression/addictions and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Lord, Your Word declares that by Your stripes we have already been redeemed, healed and we’re yet standing on Your promises that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name!

Lord, as we pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, we’re trusting that You are releasing a double portion of Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection. Preserve them thru  every test, keep them constantly aware of YOUR PRESENCE and fully-confident that You will bring them out wholly restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word.

Father we lift up our political, social, judicial, business, religious leaders, asking a special blessing upon each one! Grace them to be the  true godly examples in their homes, communities, marketplace and churches that will cause those who are in their sphere of influence to come to know, love, trust and to live their lives serving You, Our Heavenly Father.

Father we declare and decree that every demonic-induced spirit of fear, failure, hopelessness and disappointment be defeated by Your Anointing and that the Spirit of Love, Power and Sound-mindness be released now, in Jesus Name! We’re agreeing that each morning Your children will awaken with Assured Grace to accomplish every assignment and earnest hope-filled tomorrows!

Give us the confidence to know that because we belong to You, we’re never too far that You can’t see us, reach us, and shield us from anything that the devil would rail against us! Help us to understand that Your Name, Jesus is a Strong Tower, and those that You have declared the righteous run into it and are saved! 

Lord, there are so many other things, that we have yet to mention, but we’re trusting, believing You to fix it, Jesus, as only You can! Lord, we know that You are not just able, but willing to do anything that we ask, in accordance to Your Word, in Jesus Name! We thank you Father that as we walk through this day, depending on You for abundant life, divine health and Joy, and strengthen for whatever lies ahead  we shall forever give You all the Praise!

HOPE UNDER SEIGE!

SELAH Daily Devotions!

 

They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them. I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul. Jeremiah 32:38-41

 

As a child, I vaguely remember a glimpse of pride swelling up inside whenever I heard someone say,‘this is the GREATEST nation in the world’! I suppose that’s what they mean by ‘let’s make this nation great…again, huh? But, that was before I became abruptly aware that there were two nations co-existing in one! #ijs

According to historical accounts, Courage and Confidence was once the hallmark of our nation! Yet, some say that the infamous catastrophic events of 911 has radically stripped away this lofty heritage and the hope-filled future legacy  that was once ascribed to the land of the power, peace and prosperity is now being besieged by the rampant rage of darkening clouds of an evil foreboding fear, doubt, anxiety, stress, guilt, shame, confusion and condemnation!

Well, it’s not my intent to debate the inevitable result of widespread deviation from the moral standards as defined by The Holy Bible. Howeverrrr, may I submit for your consideration, that without a holy reverence, a clear vision and a Divine impartation of understanding of WHO GOD IS & WHAT HE REQUIRES OF US, people’s strength will fail and their expectations of security perishes! The past has proven that without the restraint of law and order, destruction prevails! Well, like the ol’ skool preacha used to say, “I jus lost half my churrch!” Seriously?

Honestly, when we don’t understand Whose we are, we’ll be inclined to doubt God’s ability and even His willingness to help us. Void of genuine hope and unable to trust God’s Unfailing Love, we instinctively depend upon self to take care of our needs and satisfy the desires of our own hearts. And we all know how that turns out, right?

But those of us who dare to risk resentment, ridicule and rejection from those who will slander our righteousness, labeling us as unloving and intolerant, WE DEFY the prevailing opinions of the worldly in favor of the guidelines of the Ancient Landmarks, rejoice in hope, fully persuaded that if we suffer for Christ sake, we shall also reign with Him!  #CANIGETANGOODAMEN?

Through faith and hope, TRUE WORSHIPERS develop a singleness of -heart and mind, stemming from personal intimacy with The Lord Jesus Christ whereby we experience the Abiding Presence of God, trusting wholly in His Sustaining Grace!

Instead of conforming to the ways of the world, believers don’t bail out! Hence, in the face of the calamity and chaotic circumstances, we stand steadfast, rooted and grounded in The Promises, Provision and Power, persevering in the midst of devastation, famine and plagues, confident that we’re covered! Remember Goshen, God’s Protected Place? (Ref. Exodus 8:22)

Beloved, trust 2 know that when it looks like your world is falling apart, look again! Don’t allow fear to drain your faith! From Heaven’s perspective, everything is falling right in place!  Remember, Jesus has already gone into Tomorrow to prepare a table before you, right in the presence of your enemies! (Ref. Psalm 23:5) #Didjaheardat?

IT AIN’T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, K? YOU GOTTA HOPE BEYOND THIS WORLD!

HONEST 2 GOD

SELAH Daily Devotions!

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. Psalm 139:7-10

O righteous God, who searches minds and hearts, bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure. Psalm 7:9

Sorry Father Adam, but once again this is on you! Because of our original progenitor’s high treason against the Righteous instructions given by The Creator of Life, we are all born naughty by nature! Thus, every human born into the earth since our fore-parents’ willful rebellion is corrupted by an innate disorder called iniquity! Now, don’t look at me with that self-righteous attitude! (Ref. Ps. 51:5) But, it goes deeper! Like Adam, the Glory of innocence that once covered us had now been disrupted by sin, exposing us to evil, guilt, shame and fear!

The precious intimacy with God that man once enjoyed in Paradise was violently yanked from him plunging all of creation into gross darkness and utter chaos!

Hence, there’s an inbred-inclination to cover ourselves with fig leaves attempting to hide from the Only True Source of Hope for deliverance and restoration!  The moment we allow our desire to satisfy the wickedness of self’s lust to take precedence over our desire to please God, the hedge comes down and all hell breaks out! And as they say, the rest is history, huh?

That’s why God hates sin! Don’t get it twisted like Eve and fall for the deception of the Tempter! Not because He’s trying to control us! Not because He’s arrogantly trying to keep us down! Not because He wants to keep us from enjoying ourselves! Not even because He’s Sovereign Lord! And He is! But God hates sin because it robs us of the freedom, peace and pure delight to openly commune with The Lover of our souls!

You do realize that God knew exactly where and what Adam had done when His Voice came walking through the Garden asking, “Adam, where are you?” God IS The All-Consuming Presence over space and time! There’s NO spot where GOD IS NOT! Someone once said, IF GOD MOVED TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT, HE’D BUMP STRAIGHT INTO GODSELF!

But do we also hear the pain of God’s Heart, knowing that He would have to evict His Family out of their home to keep them  away from certain eternal death and destruction...until JESUS came to our rescue? Do we realize that there’s no such thing as a little sin? SALVATION IS FREE BUT IT WASN’T CHEAP! #WOW! HONESTLY!

Yet, like David, sin perverts our mind and we foolishly assume that if we don’t tell God, He won’t figure it out!

Do you realize that confession benefits us more than it does God? “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.” Psalm 119:67 You do know that we don’t pray to inform God, but we pray to invite Him to step into our misery and fix our mess!

When we confess our faults (sin) to God, He’s able to heal our broken and contrite spirit, revive the brittleness of our bones and clear our hearts, minds and souls of the debris that’s left behind by sin’s breach! It was a good thing that God revealed that He knew David’s sin, sending His servant Nathan allowed David to repent honestly before God, liberating him from the burden, torment, tragedy, grief and condemnation that resulted from harboring secret sin in his heart and hindering him from enjoying the fellowship of God’s Presence!

If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 #Didjaheardat?

Jus wondering? When was the last time you had some REAL face2face time with God? THAT LONG, HUH? Well, last time I checked, JESUS WAS STILL SEATED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FATHER, WAITING AND WILLING TO INTERCEDE ON YOUR BEHALF! SOOO, WHACHA WAITING 4? HONEST2GOD!

GOOD MORNING FAMILY! Gotta Moment? Awesome!

Welcome to our weekly Thursdays’ Prayer and Fasting! Once again, we’re excited that you’ve joined us as we enter into The Glorious Presence of The Most High God! We’re blessed and honored for the opportunity to cast off the burdens that challenge our hope, peace and joy that is ours because we’ve been reconciled to The Lord of Compassion, Grace and Mercy! Shall we go in together?

Here we are to worship, here we are to bow down! Here we are to say that Your our God! You’re altogether Lovely, Altogether Worthy, Altogether Wonderful to Me! I’ll never know, how much it cost to see Your Son upon that crossss..So here we are to worship! Here we are to bow down…Here we are to say that You’re our God! …Bow down and worship Him! Worship Him! Ooooh Worship Him! Bow Down and Worship Him! Enter In, Oooh enter in! Consuming fire! Sweet perfume. His awesome Presence fills this room. This is holy ground! This is holy ground. This is holy ground. So come and bow down!

Let’s pray..

Abba Father, as we bow our heads and our hearts to thank You for this day, we honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for the privilege to enter into Your Throne Room! We’re eternally grateful and confident that You welcome us with Lovingkindness! We rejoice in Hope that because You are listening to our prayers we believe that You are dispatching  the angelic hosts to save, heal and deliver us, even as we’re praying!
Heavenly Father, we thank you for watching over us as we slept last nite. We thank You for knowing it was Your Hand that awakened us this morning, safe from hurt and harm. You kept death, destruction, terror, the thief and robbers out of our way. Because of Your Sustaining Power, when we rose this morning we were yet able to stand, see, to hear, speak, to feel, and to taste of Your Goodness this day and every day. We thank You, Heavenly Father, even for the mind to say Thank You!

We’re blessed because You, being Holy and Righteous continue to be such a loving forgiving God, and such an understanding and caring God. You have done so much for us and yet you keep on blessing us. Lord forgive us this day for everything we have done, or said or thought that was not pleasing to you. Abba Fahter, we are sincerely sorry and humbly repent asking for Your forgiveness trusting in Your Promise! Because You are Faithful and Just to give us and wash us in The Cleansing Blood of Jesus, we have the assurance that we are  restored to our right relationship with You, therefore we may walk free from condemnation, guilt and shame!

We thank You Lord Jesus, for being The God of our Salvation, our Deliverance, Breakthrough and Provision. We’re thankful that because You know our frame, Your faithfulness and compassion allow You to look beyond our human frailties, faults and iniquities to see and minister to all of our need!

Father,  we’re believing that You are touching our brother, touching our sister whose body has been afflicted by sickness and disease, especially the spirit of cancer and rebuke and cast it out at the root, for Your Name Sake. Heavenly Father, You have decreed that You are Alpha and Omega, the same yesterday, today and forever! Even as you walked in this earth healing all who were sick, feeble, lame we know that You’re Well Able to do the same right now! Lord Jesus, Your Word declares that by Your stripes  we have been redeemed and healed  and we’re yet standing on Your promise that the prayer of faith shall save the sick and raise them up, In Jesus Name! Amen 3x!

Sweet Jesus, we’re asking that You search our hearts and see that we’re opened to Your Will and Your Way, totally depending and relying on You to work on, in and through us so that others may come to see Your Glory being manifested in this present world.

We believe that as Your eyes continue to search the hearts of mankind that you save the lost, and that You will open the eyes of their understanding that they may know that it’s ONLY in The Name of Jesus that any of us can be saved! Break up the fallow ground of their hearts and put a ‘SINCERE YES’ in them that they will humbly receive You as their personal Lord and Savior! Father we’re trusting that You will direct their steps, and place and settle them into a church home today.

Heavenly Father, we lift up every person who has walked away from You and Your church for whatever reason. Your Word assures us that You are married to the backsliders. Encourage their soul that because of Your Unfailing Love, You are praying and waiting for them to come back into Your Loving arms today! We’re believing that their hearts are being pricked at this very moment, compelling them to return with a “COMMITTED YES” determined to live out the rest of their lives devoted to serving and being a witness of The Goodness of The Lord!

Knowing that You Sovereignly Rule and Reign over the affairs of mankind, as our nation is in the midst of election season and many are overwhelmed with fear, doubt and confusion, we pray and thank You for our President Obama, Mrs. Hillary Clinton and Father, we ask that You help Donald Trump as only You can!

We ask that You continue to open the eyes of understanding so that your people are not easily deceived by those who would desire to entrap your children in bondage once again to anything that You have delivered us from.

Lord Jesus, we lift up every government official, education, financial, judicial, health care and spiritual leader, asking a special miracle for each and every one of them who are yet standing on the wall proclaiming Your Word under the conviction and anointing of Holy Spirit.

Father, we’re trusting and believing that you will Grace them to be the examples in their homes, churches and community that will cause everyone who comes into contact with them to fall in  love, trust wholly in and live their lives serving You!

Father, we commit our children, our children’s children and by faith, into Your providential care! Lord, we realize that You have a plan and purpose for their lives too and we have the blessed assurance that their steps are yet being ordered by Your eyes!

Heavenly Father, stir up the hearts and minds of those who are professing Your Name that they will have a desire for an even greater personal, intimate relationship with Creator God through fellowship of Holy Spirit that they might prove what is the perfect and acceptable will of The Lord Jesus!

Lord, I pray for every believer who is yet holding on to Your Hand by faith today, that You will release Divine power, Supernatural strength and health, provision, prosperity and protection, PEACE, comfort and encouragement. I pray also Father, that You will preserve us thru the tests that they must go thru and that You will bring us out completely restored, renewed, refreshed and with the reward as You have promised them in Your Word.

Father, we rejoice now in confidence and quietness, trusting wholly that all workers of iniquity are trembling and suddenly departing in shame, turning their backs from Your people, because You have heard the voice of our weeping, our supplications and received our prayers as a sweet savor coming up before Your Sovereign Throne of Grace and Mercy!

Father, we thank You, honor and praise You now, for we believe that it is done!  In The Exalted Name of Jesus. Alleleujah! Amen 3x and It Is So!

Those who stand in agreement with this prayer, GO TELL SOMEBODY JESUS CARES!

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:24-25

 

Isn’t is just annoying? I mean the constant bombarding your mind with intimidating thoughts to taint your perspective and sabotage your peace.  Satan, aka da devil,  knows fully well that he has absolutely no power to stop what God has planned for your future, yet,  he’s determined to strip us of the joy of our Salvation! Saints, regardless of his deceptive tactics, remember Satan is not God!  Since his first encounter with our foreparents, Adam and Eve, he’s become quite adept  in manipulating our thoughts to cause us to question the Faithfulness of God! How? Well, one of his favorite methods is to use our Memories!

Ever notice how the devil keeps bringing up your past mistakes and failures, reminding you of what you did and accusing you about what you should’ve done and didn’t? Oh Yeah!  Well, this morning I was reminded of something I heard many years ago ‘when the devil starts messing with your mind about your past, just remind him of his future!’

My Precious ones, we don’t have to tuck tail and squirm away in shame as if that’s the end of our story. We can remind the devil that what happened back then was just a chapter setting me up for future episodes of coming attractions! The Bible says, let the redeedmed of the  lord, tell their story! 

You have been authorized to speak The Word of God with confident assurance. You know, like James Brown, ‘SAY It loud! Say it proud! Failure ain’t Final!  In fact, because I AM the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and  I’m not in this thing by myself, Christ in Me enables me to fall forward! (Ref. Colossians 1:27)

Take a stand! Let the devil know, ‘I am fully persuaded that whatever you’re planning to trip me up,  give it your best shot, just like it didn’t work the last time,  it won’t work this time either.(Ref. Isaiah 54:17)

My God  has ggggrrreeeaaaatt plans for me, for good and not for evil, and He swore by God-self, to bring me into an amazingly glorious future! And remember all that stuff you keep reminding me of, it’s covered, blotted out by the BLOOD!! I know it ain’t fair, it’s called‘favor’! (Ref. Jeremiah 29:11)

“Oh, Devil, can we talk? I peeped in the back of the Book, and I know in the end, we win and you’re still a loser!

When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who knows my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me. Look to my right and see; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.

Set me free from my prison, that I may praise your name. Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me. Psalm 142:3-4,7

 

LIFE happens!  Whether we embrace it or ignore it, time is spiraling into eternity at the speed of life. Most of us do our best to respond to the inevitable uncertainties maintaining an assemblance of confidence and control! Amen? Howevvrrrr, there are those uninvited episodes when the roof just comes crashing down and the very foundation of your being quakes uncontrollably leaving you traumatized by tragedy and utterly destroying every ounce of normalcy!

The subscript of today’s scriptures says this text was penned by David finding himself victimized by Saul’s inner insecurities and covetousness, hiding in a cave, imprisoned by the hopelessness of circumstances beyond his control! I know it’s socially inappropriate for us to discuss such matters publicly, BUT! Since it’s jus us, have you ever been ensnared by a state of desperation, despair and hopelessness, and try as you might, couldn’t muster up enough strength to pull yourself up out of a pit full of depression?

I realize that this might be a stretch,  BUT! Have you ever been surrounded by a crowd of people, simultaneously isolated and paralyzed by inner fears, feeling as if no one really cared about you? Of course, we realize who the originator of these irrational thoughts and conflicting emotions is, that ly’n devil, right? ‘Cuse me, may I submit this thought for your consideration, right here? I believe that the same God who Divinely orchestrates our mountaintop experiences also schedules sporadic excursions through death-valleys! Yet, you must understand that everybody is not assigned to your hardships and struggles! Hence, you have to be careful who is privy to your vulnerabilities!  Uuuh, remember, Job’s frienemies?

It’s during these times that we need a freedom that’s only accessible through a personal intimate relationship with The Overseer of your soul! Isn’t it just good to know that when the Bible invites us to take it to the Lawd in prayer, that it includes the bad, ugly and indifferent as well as the good and wonderful! Why waste time acting as if You need Jesus to meet you in the penthouse, when you’re stuck in the cellar?#ijs, God already knows everything about everything! He’s jus waiting for you to speak up!

It just delights our Heavenly Father’s heart, knowing that we trust Him to BE GOD in, through and over our lives!  Didjaheardat? DATZ JUS HOW MUCH HE REALLY LOVES AND CARES ! #AWEMAAZIN, huh? I KNOW HE CARES 4 U & ME! GIVE YOUR ALL 2 JESUS!

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: Romans 1:21-26a

 

Okay! Don’t be looking at me with that tone of voice! Even if we were too sccaarred to speak it out loud, chances are, we’ve all thought about it at some point in our lives, huh?

Particularly, when circumstances didn’t flow in the natural order of progression according to our personal logic! That’s when we tend to get all philosophical and put God on the witness stand! “Why would a Loving God send people to Hell? Why do innocent babies die? Why do bad things happen to good people?” Unfortunately, as Bro. Job can attest to, except thru Holy Spirits’ impartation of revelation, we’re fundamentally incapable of assessing the Ways and Means of our Sovereign Lord’s Infinite Wisdom and Knowledge. (Ref. Job 42:3-5) Am I right about it?

Amazingly, The Sustainer of everything, knowing the hopelessness of relying on the innate frailty of our flawed, fickled, self-centered frame, so graciously restrains Godself with compassionate patience, suffering with us through The Divine Maturation Process, until we arrive at the unity of faith implied by trusting in The Son of God! (Ref. Ephesians 4:13)

Howeverrrrr, Truth be told, this type of interrogation is generally  a direct result of a deliberate, self-induced distortion, rebellion and ultimate rejection of God’s Perfect Morality in order to justify our unmoral proclivity to satisfy the our own fleshy lust for wickedness and evil-doing! WELL? #Didjaheardat? Like the ol’ skool preacha said, “I jus lost 1/2 my church!”

According to Scriptures, Creation declares the reality of God. Barring some rare genetic malfunction, every human being born into the earth has an inner GPS (God’s Protection System) directly plugged into The Creator of The Universe, commonly called a conscience. This inner sensory perception allows us to discern good from evil. Therefore, there’s no excuse for anyone to claim that they don’t know whether God exists or if He does exists, what He requires of their lives. Now, given that we are not robots, we all have the freedom and ability to suppress God’s moral standards in favor of our own or the world’s! And…such were all of us! (Ref. 1 Corinthians 6:11) Yet, the consequences of our erroneous decisions are completely out of our hands! And we all know how well that plays out, huh?

Beloved, there’s no denying how much God loves us! I mean, He was willing to sacrifice His Righteous Son to save us who so deserved the punishment for our unrighteousness! NEVERTHELESS HE CANNOT DENY HIS LOVE!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Yet to deny the other part of his Holy Nature, is down-right foolish! Hence, stop trying to PLAY God! HE IS NOT THE ONE! Trust 2 know…the last thing you ever wanna DO is make God angry! Seriously! It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God! (Hebrew 10:31)

Beloved, God’s mercy awaits us every morning as He awakens us to embrace one more day! Unfortunately, we have no clue how long before Grace is frustrated. While it is yet today, Precious Ones, exercise your choice, accept Jesus as Savior and Lord! When it comes to your eternal destination…FAIRNESS IS OVER-RATED…CHOOSE LIFE!
